Great food, good range, very reasonably priced. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend going here.

When it rains the roof leaks, so rather than move your table they put a dirty bucket on it to catch the rain. Couldn't belive they thought that's Ok

I visited Tamar View to buy some plants and decided to give the cafe a try . I ordered smashed avocado on toast with poached egg but i didn’t enjoy it . The cafe was very busy , hot and stuffy .

Came out on Thursday with some members of the family, the pie was not as stated on the specials menu but it was really enjoyable and well cooked. It will not stop me from coming back again. Thanks :)

Great Nursery but it’s like a Rainforest in the Restaurant when it rains. Staff are wonderful but don’t expect to see the Manager on her hands & knees mopping up the puddles. Unlikely to return until the roof is fixed, or it’s a sunny day. If the HSE were to look at the water trickling into the electrical equipment it would likely be closed for safety reasons. Mr Hooper, please don’t reply to tell me you’re unaware as previous posts consistently complain about your leaking roof.

Staff ok. Arrived 10ish. Had brunch very nice, service good. But table, floors unclean, food on table from day before and on chairs. Along the edge of windows and around tables have not been swept or cleaned for awhile. We had to move tables.

Awful venue. Needs a total refurbishment. If this is what the public see then what does the behind the scenes look like? I won’t be returning.

Great service meal arrived quickly jacket potato tuna &salad the tuna was not nice it was very wet & very fishy not what tuna normally taste like maybe chef needs to taste it to see what it's like

What a lovely garden centre ,we had lunch which was good value for money And a good choice staff in the restaurant lovely Lady on the till that served us our plants was not very blunt and rude ! Shame as the place is so nice ,and plants so well maintained.

I go here often with catching up with a friend from Saltash. I find it a nice place to chill and fair pricing menu though cakes are expensive, but amazing. I find the staff quite chatty and friendly. Some of these reviews reflect the good bits, I find it hard to understand the bad ones.

Visited your restaurant for a Christmas lunch today with my friend from Romania who for a starter had the gridled pear and walnut salad. After the first mouthful, it brought a tear to his eye as he remembered childhood memories of his Christmas food. Our waitress, Sharon, was very helpful and extremely attentive. The food was excellently prepared, delivered very hot and we were even given time between courses to let our food settle before the next course. Full praise to the chefs for excellent food over a very busy lunchtime service. Would very much recommend you to visit for excellent food and service. 10/10 for ambience, service and food. Once again, thank you for a great lunch.

Very friendly staff and well presented. Sharon our server was helpful with alternatives. Food was hot and tasty and beverage was hot. Definitely visit again, lovely place.

I visited your restaurant today (21/10/21) with my daughters and son-in-law. It was a very busy lunchtime period. We had to queue for a short while outside in a cold breeze but when seated, the waitress and serving staff were very attentive. Food and drink were served very quickly and the food was piping hot. The only downside is the nurseries management don't fully appreciate their staff and don't pay them enough for all the hard work that they do. Well done to the restaurant staff! You really do deserve good praise in these trying times. Thank you all.

Miserable staff… except one lady who I think was trying to make up for all the rest of them!Ordered tea and drinks… cups and glasses were filthy so had to ask for replacements, also ordered 3 baguettes and some chips.. the chips were rock hard … like they had been fried.. then refried again numerous times..!! One of the sausage and bacon baguettes actually had a squashed pea in it!!! Absolutely vile place!!

Have been coming here twice a year for 18 years and I don’t know really where to begin.Entered by the temporary entrance for the restaurant to find four people coming out and not using the exit , one way in one way out. Waited in the queue for a few minutes then showed to a table, this is where everything started to go downhill.I watched a member of staff clean a table near by she actually missed more than half of it unacceptable during Covid Waitress came for order which we placed and paid for. Meanwhile a family of 5 sat at the table nearby.They also placed their order. After about 5 minutes a waitress delivered meals to their table told her it wasn’t theirs she returned towards the kitchen a few minutes passed still not received our meals but tables who came in after us had got theirs. Then she tried to deliver 2 meals again to the same table told again not theirs asked if it was table 34 they replied yes ours was table 36. After about 5 minutes I asked what the meals were she had brought turned out to be ours. A gentleman from that table beckoned someone and said they were our meals. Out they came again my husband had ordered gammon delivered ham said it wasn’t ours. Another lady came the gammon had gone to another table presumably the ham was theirs, told there was a gammon in the kitchen so got that one. Then my meal chips were cold told they would bring more chips then on tasting the scampi that was also cold. Not really surprising after about 10 mins going backwards and forwards, my husband tasted his also cold, at this stage we decided to leave. Service absolutely appalling it was a total disaster from start to finish awfully disappointed.

Hi my wife and I had our Sunday lunch here yesterday lovely roast lamb with plenty of vegetables and whole meal piping hot.The staff were attentive and the cost of our meal good value in these tougher times.

Went to Tamar nurseries twice this week had such a nice and well presented Breakfast LOVELY..Also on friday the 15th october we came there for lunch had a lovely meal fish chops peas...Well done to you all..The staff are great very helpfull and well organised....

Unfortunately I lost my husband at the end of July. I was desperate to hold a wake after the church service to thank friends and families who had travelled from near and far to attend. fortunately Mandy the manageress at this restaurant was the only lady to offer her help. I was so grateful and I must give praise where it is due, the buffet was beautiful, Sharon the waitress was attentive and supplied beverages as required. The restaurant was cordoned off to enable attendees to sit at tables, covid restrictions were carried out and everyone agreed it was the nicest buffet, the nicest atmosphere that they had experienced. Thankyou Mandy and Sharon, you helped us celebrate my husbands life with family and friends in a lovely way.

Went for coffee and cake with a friend.The staff were friendly and helpful. I was shocked to hear that they have been subject to rude Customers all week . So I hope that this review puts a smile on there face . They are doing a wonderful job.

We both had the Sunday roast, which was plentiful, hot and had a very good selection of freshly cooked vegetables. However, the Yorkshire pudding left a lot to be desired and the whole thing was swimming in gravy. The knives supplied were too blunt to be able to cut through the meat, which spoiled the whole thing for us. We would definitely go back but not for the Sunday roast.

First let me say that this is a really good garden centre. This review is about my experience in the cafe.I waited in the restaurant with my husband to be seated outside for coffee. My husband is disabled following a stroke and has his arm in a sling and walks with a stick. The lady that came to us said it was fine for us to go through to the garden and that she would come and take our order. As my husband walked past her with his stick she shouted to him 'You need to take more water with it sir!!" I feel this was an appalling thing to say to a disabled person and a customer. If it was her idea of humour it certainly was not funny to us. I was offended on his behalf.It was unnessessary and spoiled our visit. I think staff training is in need here.

Lovely place to visit on passing. The garden centre is full to bursting of all you could think of for gardening, beautiful plants, homeware and even some gifts. The pet shop next door has all you need for a variety of animals. Also, the farm shop has all sorts of treats and goodies to enjoy, stocking a wide range of items. As with all garden centres it can be a little on the pricey side but very lovely stuff

Stayed in Saltash for a couple of days and had breakfast here 2 days following. On each occasion we only waited a couple of minutes to be seated and our order was taken as soon as we were ready. The light breakfast was ample for us and tasted really good. The staff were friendly and the service was very quick. We'll certainly be back!

Came here today for cake and coffee had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. Was given no instructions as to how to order so waited for not then went to check out cakes myself waited again for 10 minutes. Then went up to counter to be told to sit & lady would come to me, they took my table number then went & served 3 other tables before me. In short unless you have lots of time and money to spare( cakes very very overpriced) don’t bother

This is a very busy and the staff have provided a safe environment during Covid times. There is an excellent choice of food on the menu. There is a salad bar, a huge selection of cakes (the cakes look amazing) an ice cream bar and a variety of hot and cold beverages. I think this is a really lovely family venue and the food is priced fairly. The staff work hard and are always efficient delivering the food. It's a very popular place as the food is so good, the roast dinners are particularly good! Access for disabled people is good. The toilets are outside in the car park. The car park is huge so there is plenty of space for cars. The restaurant is quite big so there is plenty of room. I think it's a dog friendly place, this is not a problem and I've never seen dogs being a nuisance.

Had a mother and daughter day out today. The food and service was outstanding and staff always kept busy well done

A lovely place to visit for coffee and cakes which are outstanding. Ice cream is good to. Staff are friendly. Didn’t have time to visit the shop as it was an hour before closing and staff were eager to start clearing up and cleaning.. worth a visit and we went at a quiet time so we could relax and catch up.

Excellent prawn sandwich, plenty of space, good attention to Covid precautions and pleasant service, as far as it went. BUT, although there were plenty of sachets of salt and pepper, there was no cutlery or serviettes so, despite my best efforts, my shirt was ruined by the liberal quantity of Marie Rose sauce, which dripped from the sandwich. (It’s now on its 3rd wash!)

Sunday lunch, no Yorkshire pudding unless it’s beef(wtf) very had so much pepper in it burnt my throat, swimming in water, lamb as tough as old boots, very disappointed.

We visited last week 9th December on way past back from Plymouth.We were cold and hungry and wanted cooked breakfast and hot coffee.We realise that due to Covid restrictions things have to be very strict,but we were kept waiting for 20 minutes in cold draughty entrance ! member of staff who met us was abrubt no greeting what so ever,A "good morning" would've been nice instead of had we checked in with our phone on track and trace(yes we know this is necessary)but be polite.She marched us to our table and took our order,she came back with 2 coffees and dumped the tray on the table without taking the coffees off,we had the £4.99 breakfasts which were presented on undersized oval plate so everything was piled on top of everything and 6 items for a fiver....so expensive! poorly presented.So all in all Staff are rude and make you fell like you shouldn't be there and they are doing you a favour,get some customer service training ASAP.the whole place was cold and draughty and had an awful atmosphere,not cosy and welcoming,yes we know there are procedures to be followed but there are a whole lot of changes that could be implied well within limits.Would never go back!

I visited here for the first time recently and was really impressed. Great selection of plants, and plenty of staff around to ask for help. Christmas display is good and they have a huge selection of most things you would need to decorate both your house and tree for Christmas. Cut Christmas trees I thought were a really good price. Most of the outside areas are under cover (if that makes sense). Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome but please pick up after them. Another great thing about this garden centre is that on the way out there is a lane just for people who have not brought anything and so they do not have a squeeze past all the other people in the queue waiting to pay. Since my first visit I have now been back three times and have never been disappointed. I cannot comment about the restaurant as so far I have not tried either the food or a drink.

The garden centre itself is awesome - as big as any we've seen and with some very healthy looking plants. We visited the restaurant twice - once for coffee / cake and once for a late lunch. Coffee / cake was fine but our lunch was excellent - my wife had sausage, egg and chips, and I had ham, egg and chips - both first class and I have to say I was astonished at how much ham I had on my plate - and as my wife kept saying - chips that tasted like real potatoes! and lovely friendly service!

We visited on a Saturday morning. All the guidelines in place with sanitiser and track and trace. We were sat down. We ordered our food. Whilst i was asking for what i wanted i requested not to have an item on my plate. The staff member very rudely cut me off and wouldnt let me ask for what i wanted until she had finished what she wanted to say. The food and drink arrived on 3 trays over a couple of minutes. The staff member didnt speak once and just rested the trays on the edge of the table leaving us to unload the trays then try to juggle the next 2 trays on a table of 4. Not once did the staff member clear the trays or dishes which we had to just put on the floor. She was very rude and for this reason we won't be returning

While we understand that waiting to be seated in the restaurant is necessary due to the current pandemic, that does not excuse ignorance and poor service. On our visit to the restaurant which was nearly empty, we waited for nearly 15 minutes to be seated. Staff milled around during this time without any acknowledgement that we were waiting. The courteous and professional approach would have been fir ANY staff member to say ‘we will be with you shortly’ and that would have been fine. But to the contrary, staff walked past us several times, avoiding eye contact as whatever they were doing was more important that the waiting customers. We were both upset and disgusted to be treated this way. No apology was given for the wait. Something has gone badly wrong in the management of this restaurant, it has lost its way in putting customers first.

Contrary to another review complaining about the service at this wake I can confirm there were no problems whatsoever. The fact that Simon from Liskeard reviewed a wake on the 23/9/20 that he apparently attended on 24/9/20 suggests to me that it is false information, the clues are in the dates.

Thought I would share my experience after reading the review below by Simon. My family also held a wake here but on the 23/09/2020. It was a lovely afternoon staff couldn’t have done any more for us. They showed compassion and care and were super friendly and the food was lovely. It’s a shame to read someone post something negative as I couldn’t recommend them enough!

We held our wake here on 23/09/20 as it was exactly what we wanted. Buffet food placed on each table to comply with covid rules. Staff kept coming round checking if we required more refreshments. Room was well suited with tables of six spaced apart. As for the review from someone called Sherpa (Simon from Liskeard) I would like to assure this establishment that as the son of the deceased I knew everyone who attended the wake and there was no one of that name or place that attended nor is there within my entire family. I also have had it confirmed by the management that no wake was held on the 24/09/20. Both myself and my eldest daughter who had been liaising with the management thanked Sharon as we left for the service we had been given. As I was a food and beverage manager in the Royal Navy for 23 years I think I would know when I’m getting the right level of service required.

After the sad passing of my Nan we were then faced with the mammoth task of organising a funeral during a pandemic! I contacted Mandy (the manager) to enquire about what we would be able to do with the current restrictions in place, she gave us a couple of options we decided to go for tables of 6 with food platters for each table! On the day of the wake 23/09/2020 a waitress named Sharon was looking after us from the minute we arrived she was completely professional and welcoming and due to the nature of our occasion she acted with complete sympathy! She ensured we always had drinks the food was delicious and plentiful! Nothing was too much trouble! I’d highly recommend Mandy and her team for any occasion!

Hi my wife and I had lunch here yesterday I had the gammon steak and my good lady had the curry dish.We were made welcome when we arrived and told where to sit and a waitress took our order and 5 mins or so came our food and paid there and then on my debit card so when finished meal did not have to go to pay.This cafeteria has had its changes since we were last in it in late 2019 and the whole place is well laid out regarding Covid 19.The grub is good value and will be back soon.

Go here regularly, always great plants and service, would highly recommend to anyone. The cale is also amazing!

Lots of interesting plants outside even in January. Good food in the Restaurant too. This was recognised locally as the Restaurant was very busy, and queues at lunch time. Facilities good and tables cleaned as they became available.

Visited this garden centre restaurant today. Fancied the salad so stood at the salad bar for 5 minutes and no one was there. People were queuing up being served for food so I joined the main queue. Took me 20 minutes to get to the front to order my salad - and be told I had to go to the salad bar and wait! The counter lady was stood no more than 2 metres away from it but "couldnt help as she (salad bar lady) was there now". Yes, with yet another queue! I did say I'd been queuing for ages but she wouldnt help.The rules about where to queue are not clear and the attitude crazy. Sadly, being so unhelpful I pushed off to Waitrose for a sandwich and the garden centre lost our purchase of 2 plant pots too.

Had a very nice meal. I had fish and chips which was freshly cooked and very tasty, and my partner had a roast with all the trimmings. Couldnt fault the food but thought the staff were rushed off their feet, and could have made the experience better if they had time to chat but were obviously really busy. Will go again.

We have called here a couple of times when in the area. This visit was much better than the previous visit. It was late in the day so parts of the restaurant were closed for cleaning, which meant the more comfortable seating was not available. The loos are outside and not great but the staff we saw on this occasion were pleasant.

Wouldnt go here if i was desperate the staff are all under so much pressure with such a vast restaurant to run food around and a small kitchen. Manager is rude has no manners. Food looks nice but i didnt hang around to eat as it was very cold in there, well matched to the manger she was cold and miserable too.

We had an excellent Christmas meal at the restaurant. The food and the service was excellent. It was a Christmas menu that suited everyone. However, I have always had good meals and service at the restaurant

Garden centre very good, unfortunately the restaurant was not so good.The queuing system needs review at peak times.You queue for drinks then join another for ordering and paying for food It arrived fairly promptly and was whisked away as we got the wrong order, when ours arrived shortly after it was Luke warm at best. Out of 3 omelettes 2 were over cooked and dry and the chips cold.Perhaps only coffee and cake next time

Went to visit the lovely garden centre and went in for a quick bit to eat. Mostly self service and food was tasty enough. But most of the staff did not have much time for customers. One lady at the till could not wait to take our money and move us along. When asked if there was any indoor toilets was was told off “ outside only” When our food was brought out to us and I enquired after my sons meal politely , the waitress snapped “ I can’t carry it all you know”

Called in just to make use of the toilets, but once inside, we decided to take a break from driving, have a feed and a coffee while admiring the view. The cafe was very clean and the coffee was quite good. The food service was a little slow, but the cafe was busy at the time. The sandwich was different to the basic one we thought we had ordered, but "value add" with the extras possibly to justify the slightly higher than usual price. We then explored what the shop had to offer, buying a couple of items we could fit in our luggage. We would return again.

Had a meal in the restaurant on plastic chairs and tables! What is that about so flimsy and horrid. Some of the staff were nice but some were very rude. I had heard good things about the restaurant but we will DEFINITELY not be going back..........

We were on our way home and did not want to have breakfast at our holiday cottage so we stopped here as it wasn't far.

Visited with family. Very busy, but plenty of parking.

We had a lovely meal here this week on 8/10/19,had the cod and chips special,cooked to perfection and ready to ear in 15 mins,hot tasty and presented,the dinner time rush was over so our timing was perfect.

Nice selections of cakes.Staff are very fast at serving you when you go to order,but they really need to open another till as the hold up was waiting to pay. They do hot food as well also sandwiches and they do a proper cream tea.Other that that a nice relaxed atmosphere,and plenty of seating.If you need to go loo I would say do it before as it is outside.

Stopped for a coffee here after shopping at Waitrose. Great cakes. Plenty of room. Reasonably priced. Most people were having cooked breakfast. Looked good as well

went here today we a group of men from church for breakfast we all found staff very friendly food freshly cooked and hot arrived quickly and with a smile. big thanks to charlie and mandy for excellent service. we wiil be back again.

Let me start by saying, i love this garden centre. I live in saltash so use it all the time and bring any friends and family that visit so come see it.

Lovely location but restaurant needs revamping, leaking air conditioning unit, badly stained ceiling tiles, and food needs looking at. Chicken bacon burger so over cooked you could not cut it with a knife. Salmon with orange and honey sauce was so sweet it was like a dessert, just putting neat honey on salmon does not work.

We stayed on for lunch and were well pleased quite of choice menu on offer and at very reasonable price will return again and tell others about it well worth a visit for the plants selection and the choice of menu that’s available

Beautiful garden centre containing a vast variety of flowers, plants, shrubs etc., something for everyone. Thousands of plants to choose from. The restaurant is very good with a wide choice of cakes and pastries as well as salads, chips etc., would definitely go there again.

All plants I have purchased here have been really lovely worth a few pence more to get quality! Nice little restaurant too.

Excellent for the keen gardener the massive range of plants has got to be one of the best around.

You can guarantee coming here means you get the food you want... and more for a reasonable price. The garden center is nice to walk around and the staff are friendly.

A good place to put on the map for breakfast or lunch. Good quality Fayre at reasonable quantities and prices. It also has an excellent Xmas grotto for the kids but booking for Father Xmas is essential!

Thank you to Neil in the Compost Room, who took our list from us , loaded all our many requirements onto his hydraulic trolley , took it to the check out ,and then loaded it into our car.

Visiting the Garden Centre & purchasing some garden furniture, we stopped for morning coffee & Cake.

We stopped here for breakfast and gave specific details of how we wanted our bacon to be cooked,but it was nothing to how we requested .The breakfasts were returned to the kitchen for the bacon to be cooked longer but still not enough and the rest of the breakfast was cold.A man ,not one of the caters was walking to and fro into the kitchen(big cross contamination risk).

The rudest manageress I have ever come across plus very mediocre food, how can they have the nerve to charge for this

My wife and I have made a number of visits to Tamar View Restaurant with my wheelchair-bound Mum. There is a spacious seating area with a very comprehensive menu: the food is very competitively priced and of a high quality. The staff are always very friendly and prompt. Queuing can take a little time because the place is so popular. Our orders are usually brought to our table pretty speedily.There is quite an expansive seating area and a reasonable amount of space to accommodate Mum's wheelchair. The slope up to the restaurant area is fairly steep and caution needs to be exercised when coming down! There is a recently refurbished disabled toilet: unfortunately it is outside and the threshold is difficult to negotiate. Having said that, wheeling the chair around the very large store area is relatively easy, and just a few yards away the Applejack Farm Shop has a surprisingly wide selection of fruit, vegetables, preserves, sauces,biscuits and the like as well as some cheap just-past-sell-by-date items. There are plenty of parking spaces including quite a few disabled ones. We keep on going back!

Was really pleased to see vegan cakes advertised, but when I asked the assistant about them, she didn't know what I was talking about, thought I meant gluten free. I asked her several times about the vegan cakes, but could not get the assistant to understand, a colleague came along and tried to help, but still I couldn't find out which of the cakes were vegan. I'm not vegan but allergic to milk, and was so pleased to see an effort was being made, but please do not build up my hopes to advertise what you don't have and educate your staff on diet type

We visited here late afternoon for coffee. We waited quite a while whilst a man was asking numerous questions regarding a job vacancy. During all of this time we were not acknowledged or served even though there was a few staff around. When the man had finished we thought great we can order, o no not the case at all Sharon the member of staff serving then decided to make coffee for a work colleague! Very poor service, no apologies and we were left feeling angry.

This is a very popular restaurant and with good reason, the food is always very good, tasty and with good portion size. At busy times expect to queue, but not usually for long. Mandy and her team are very efficient. They really do work smart, without making you feel rushed. There is a salad bar, wonderful selection of cakes and pastries. Locally made Cornish pasties and other savouries and lets not forget the ice cream bar. The selection of all day meals is very good as is the selection of daily mains. Some of these are available as 'light bites' for those with a smaller appetite. There is also a varied childrens' menu. If you have a special occasion to celebrate it is worth giving Mandy a call as she will do what she can to get the seating as you want it. I have never had to call on her for this service myself, but have seen several parties being catered for and screened off from the main restaurant. I must agree with a previous review and say it is a shame the toilets (recently refurbished) are outside and you have to go right out of the garden centre to access them, as the nearest exit is a fire exit. As the seating area has recently been extended both inside and out, maybe it is time to build a new toilet block adjacent to the restaurant. The whole restaurant is accessible for wheelchair users and the staff are friendly and approachable. 10/10.

Visited the restaurant after shopping in the Garden Centre and only intended to have coffee and cake - got tempted by the Light Breakfast and glad we changed our minds. Despite it seeming quite busy there was only a short wait for our meals to be delivered. Beans, sausage, bacon, egg, tomato along with a choice of a slice of fried or toasted bread. The restaurant is obviously a popular meeting place and is furnished with plenty of tables in various areas and seating choices of comfy sofas to dining chairs. WE enjoyed our visit and intend to return in the not too distant future - as the cakes looked VERY yummy!!

Call in several times a week. plenty of room and dogs welcome. Teacakes, - very nice and a good pot of tea. Staff friendly. Draw back is that the loo's are outside. A good range of cakes and hot food served until 4.00.

I often been to that garden with my family in much of the 1990s and with the Duchy College. That was for the main reason to purchase plants. I went there more recently with my mum on Wednesday 16th January 2019, and she purchased ten primulas for £6-99, normally at 75p each, and looked for other plants which were not yet on sale, as it was still in the winter. I did however purchase something from the post-Christmas sale.

Called in here for a spot of lunch - delicious homemade steak & kidney pie, tender, juicy meat, served with chips & peas. Homemade smoked haddock & leek lightly fried fish cakes served with new potatoes & salad.

If you fancy a reasonably priced roast go to Tamar View Nurseries on a Sunday. There is usually a choice of two or three roasts. There is also amazing desserts to choose from.

Very pleasant to sit beside a real fire sipping very good real decaf coffee. We managed to resist the cakes, cut only just!!

Large range of plants, staff are very knowledgeable , a lovely selection of cards and gifts. The Christmas display is absolutely brilliant.

£3.99 for a bacon sandwich which wasn't even cut when it came out, I mean how hard it is to cut a sandwich in half?!

Nice garden centre but cafe very grim and depressing, food not much better, all looks very lacklustre, staff not amazing either

Yes there's a huge range of plants and everything one needs to garden etc but also the range of gifts,cards and at Christmas the decorations are well worth a visit. Highlight of any visit is the cafe, cooked meals good but the cake and desert range fabulous .

We visited this garden centre restaurant last week after cleaning at church, we just needed a quick snack and I must say the service was quick. The restaurant was very busy due to Father Christmas appearance at the centre. My friend and I had egg and chips and my husband had a pasty, basic but hot and very acceptable. We relaxed with a nice cup of coffee and had chance to have a nice natter with our friend. I certainly would pop in again for a cheap lunch.

This is a excellent garden centre, with an excellent restaurant, it also has a reasonable Farm shop with a variety of local fruit and veg, also there is an very good butcher on site

We really enjoyed our visit with some really great display to see and the food in the restaurant was excellent and arrived quickly despite it being very busy

Visited to take my 6 year old daughter to the fabulous Santa grotto, Santa and his elf were fantastic and really made the visit special. In the restaurant after we had a delicious meal with cake for dessert. The range of food is extensive, very reasonably priced and the portions are generous. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. I couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely visit again.

Really worth a visit this Christmas. The decorations and displays are absolutely fabulous. Our 2 year old grandson was enthralled. Father Christmas is there, and i did see a sign that said booking is necessary. The grotto is amazing!

This restaurant has a large amount of seating and free parking. It serves a wide range of meals and snacks and prices are reasonable. Good for meeting friends or taking a break from visiting the extensive garden centre and shop.

We visit here regularly and normally can't fault the quality of food and price. However, on this occasion I felt I had to return my dessert. On paying in advance for both my lunch and dessert, I felt it was not good value for money in paying nigh on £3.50 for a tiny sliver of cake for dessert. Will certainly think twice before ordering dessert in the future.

For every body you must go see the Christmas Display in this store it is awesome the restaurant is great also if I was a child again I would be in my element looking at all the Christmas stuff

Came back again to see the wonderful Christmas display. The kids loved it. Everything is reasonable price wise and the restaurant was reasonably priced.

Go here a couple of times a year,and near xmas is a must.. The general shop is full of reasonable priced gifts and house items,lots of different gift ideas . When it is ready for xmas it is lovely and they display lots of 'rooms' giving you ideas for your home christmas decoration.They have a wonderful grotto with a fabulous display for which a lot of effort must go into. Well worth a visit!!
