Amazing, try the vegan one. I am a meat eater. I couldn't tell the difference!

Used to be my favourite pasty destination in Falmouth, unfortunately the quality has gone down hill. Me and two pals ordered beef brisket pasties yesterday and were all very disappointed with the amount of beef inside, a few small pieces in each pasty, £5.50 for a pasty consisting of 95% potato.

Brilliant pasty and a range of fillings - leek and Stilton anyone (it was delicious). The traditional pasty was well filled with good flavour and seasoning, the pastry crisp and light. I came up from The Front as everyone arriving at the pub had a pasty from here. It was a good call as the pint and pasty make food partners.

ANSOME!! Me and the fellas preordered and later gobbled some flakey steaky pasties and they were mighty. Easily the best pasty in Falmouth and the best one in recent memory in all of cornwall. Proper job and the man was a legend too. 💪💪🏴☠️💪🏴☠️

Never had a cheese and onion pasty before coming here, and I will absolutely have more. Have been back since for sausage rolls, and other pastys. The pub opposite, the Front, welcomes you to bring food in to have a drink with too.

Traditional pasty was cold (eventhough they heated up for me), greasy and had hardly any meat whatsoever. Also expensive for a takeaway. Same price as cafe opposite where you get it served hot, on a plate with a free side salad, and a table to sit at. Disappointing 😞

Friendly, local family run business. Amazing selection of seasonal fresh pasties, delicious vegan & vegetarian as well as traditional Cornish options...😋

Disappointing that the pasties were mediocre. The service was terrible- the lady serving was rude and made it very awkward.

Poor service - the woman serving us didn't seem to want us to buy pasties and treated us rudely. Few options available as we didn't arrive 'early' for lunch (we were there at 12.57). The shortcrust pasties were nothing special, and the pastry on the "flaky" ones tasted something like bread. Such a shame as this used to be our favourite pasty shop!

Yum! I ordered the large traditional pasty, from the pastry to the filling, it was perfection. The place is unassuming but don’t be fooled.

The best pasties in town! Loads of homemade veggie options, I’ve tried a few and they’ve all been delicious. Wouldn’t go anywhere else 🩷

Pretty decent pasties and antifa association. It was a little uncomfortable with the staff members arguing while trying to order but id still try the other vegan options when in town.

I think this is the best pasty I've had. Filling extremely tasty but the pastry is on another level. Plus loads of flavour options. Multiple delicious veggie options. I watched them coming out of the oven. Don't think about it any more just go here if you want a pasty.

Best pasties in Falmouth, went for lunch twice but unfortunately they weren't open on the Sunday before we left so had to go somewhere else which were nowhere near as good as theirs.

O pasty, O pasty, wherefore art thou, O pasty? Our trip in Falmouth was great, swimming and catching shrimp, But then I felt your weight and saw your perfect crimp. What is this this piece of pastry which I hold between my hands? A common Cornish pasty? No, the finest in the land. As we wondered down the tiny Falmouth streets, the pasty was the greatest sight I could ever hope to meet. With ruffled pastry soft and a crust of golden hues, This will be the image I behold in my pasty-induced snooze. Seriously though, a great pasty and our third favourite on our Falmouth Pasty Crawl.

What a place! Set into the hill and just a little hatch to order through! Lovely guy and a lovely pasty. If I was to visit falmouth again it would be for here.

My favourite pasty shop in Falmouth. The pastry is nice and flaky, never greasy. The filings are generous and good quality. Menu changes on a regular basis so there's always something new to try. To top it all off, the pasties are fresh baked by the guy who works there, and he is lovely and chatty as well.

We were warmly welcomed and engaged in polite conversation and received excellent service and brilliant products. A much better option to the overpriced large chains that are located within the town.

The old King's Pipe Pasties takeaway (on the side of old Customs House, now the Stable) was refurbished and reopened in 2016 as the Dog & Smuggler. It's now a wonderfully cheerful "tuck shop" selling pasties as before, but also vegan and veggie treats like falafels.

Great food but terrible service and very slow. Ordered take out from here whilst family were staying. We thought we had been forgotten or would never arrive. No updates, but the food took two hours to arrive at our house. It was not hot and limp. No idea why it took that long as we were just staying at the holiday park next to Swanpool so fifteen mins by car. No idea why it took so long and 0 communication. Just rubbish.

Such a shame that this restaurant just isn’t as good as it used to be. The waitress was lovely, but the food was not up to scratch. One main arrived cold and another was inferior. It was a special occasion and we were left disappointed.

We dined here last summer (2024) for a colleague's farewell party. Originally, there were eight of us, but at the last minute, we added one more person. Since we had already pre-ordered our meals, we didn’t anticipate any issues. Unfortunately, we were completely wrong. From the moment we added the extra guest, we were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The staff was exceptionally rude, and at one point, we overheard our server telling another customer that our additional guest "took" the last pork belly, as if we weren't also paying customers. It was a shocking lack of consideration. Throughout the evening, we noticed that other tables were treated much more politely—being offered condiments, drinks, and attentive service. We, on the other hand, were ignored and left feeling like an inconvenience simply for having added one extra person. As for the food, it was decent but overpriced for what we received. My seafood linguine was served so hot that I burned my mouth, and there was no bowl provided for the shells. Overall, we felt that the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. While Charlestown has many lovely dining options, this restaurant is not one I would recommend or return to.
