Lovely food! Will definitely order again this is certainly up there as one of the best takeaway’s I’ve ever had.Faultless and excellent value for your money.

The set meal for one is great value and enough for me and my son. More meat than you would get from other takeaways and a lot more reasonable than some others. I could eat the Bombay potato all night. I think it’s my favourite takeaway by far and at the price, taste and quality you can’t go wrong. Thanks

I have always been to Taj and used them for years and have frequent take aways .. tonight we ordered delivery call was at just after 7pm rang to chase an hour later and then again 830 pm they said they'd check with driver food was luke warm so I have now had to put in the oven not a happy bunny may need to look for a new takeaway .. 28 pound to have to warm my food up 😮‍💨

Food was good , get the feeling these guys care about what they are putting out.

No flavour at all. I actually considered eating the paper back it came in. UPDATE: Accidentally ordered again 2 years later thinking this was a different place and sadly in that time there has been no change. The paper bag tasted fine though. Clearly from the reviews there is a problem, please sort this out and stop selling substandard food.

This was our favourite takeaway restaurant but todays was Luke warm popadoms where stale starters tasted bland just not the usual standard :(

They forgot two items, called and asked if they could re delivery them and they said no.

Naan bread didn’t seem cooked. Rice was barely warm and few pieces of the chicken only warm. One piece cold. Hoping cooked !! Did t eat all ended up putting half in bin. Really dissatisfied as normally nice from here

The tandoori mixed grill is far less than it used to be

The app said it been delivered and still had to wait extra 15 minutes the portion size was poor. The test was poor don’t recommend

Delivery was 20 minutes over the latest delivery time. Got no update when requested. Got no apology for being late. But on the plus side the food finally came and it’s still warm.

I have never experienced such an appalling Indian takeaway. I ordered a meal for one. Prawn Puri just dripping in grease. The lamb rogan josh tasted so bland, it really wasn't a curry. The meat tough as boots. I ate a mere 10% of it. Good job I'm trying to lose weight. I Don't recommend this place...

Bulked it out with onions not enough chicken.

This was a treat meal to celebrate my new job. We order from Taj Mahal regularly and the food is usually fabulous and the delivery driver is always lovely! Unfortunately last nights meal was a big disappointment, the naan breads were both burnt and not edible at all. My main the king prawn korma was stone cold and the prawns were like rubber. I am absolutely gutted as this has never happened before. Please could someone call me to avoid this happening in the future as I don’t really want to stop ordering from you. Many thanks.

Was 15 minutes late, the girl tried to deliver to next door for some reason, even though numbers are quite clearly labelled on the house, I am onion, bhajis and the Momotch we are really lovely although the only budgies did not come with a salad and mint sauce. The lamb chops which I paid £5 for were in edible as they were really tough and you could not. Do you feel at all really disappointed about that, because I do love my love jobs I would if I could get a refund on the Mum jobs because that’s how much I hate them. They ruin my complete meal because you’re in your bag is really tasty, but they do need a little bit of mint sauce with him and I always do enjoy a little bit of sand with them

Forgot the chips and it the curries were tasteless

Most of the chicken was still pink, either it was thrown in the bag or delivery driver was driving horrendously because curry was just everywhere and some tops of containers had came off. Never had a problem before so quite disappointed

Simply the best in my eyes, wouldn't go anywhere else. I love the food, great chef's, friendly staff, always courteous whether on the phone or collecting. Wide choice of dishes to choose from and you can always ask for advice on food if you are not sure. Also award winning chef.

Will never order from anywhere else. This place is amazing, never get an order wrong, always on time and food is just immaculate. 10/10

Chutnet trya now i am told does not come with popadoms but always has and always does in every place i have been to, shashlik was dry and the veg curry was tastless and had two small pieces of potatoe in, very disapointing and you have lost a customer and in this econamy is business suicide to loose good customers

Wrong food Tasteless Missing items! Don’t waste you money

Upon opening my order I discovered that the starter I ordered in my set meal was missing. The salad bag was there but no onion bhaji.

Rang restaurant to which I got told order was on way after being 10 mins late then when rang back for told I didn't under there spoken rudely too but was soon rectified when driver got back as he delivered to wrong address and that person took our order Shame on you restaurant sent us free meal thanks a lot much appreciated

Sent the wrong curry sent a mixed bhuna instead of a mixed rogan josh

I asked for just mint yogurt and got none at all not happy.Chicken curry was just warm microwaved it to warm it up.

Had to wait 25 minutes longer than quoted. It's not the first time this has happened.

Food was amazing had tandoori nixed grill, only a small issue but it was full of onions which I don't like but easily remedied, also forgot popadum but also not much of an issue all in all great quality food !!

Everything was nice. Just onion Bhaji could have been cooked more in the centre. But as a takeaway. The best !!

Absolutely fantastic, the lamb was so soft it jist melted away in my mouth never had a curry like it, couldn't fault it, very high quality ingredients and excellently put together, good portion sizes aswell, defiantlyrecommend

Chips looked like re heats & were all burnt & not nice at all. Asked for a butter chicken & we are convinced we just ate a chicken tikka. Disappointed.

it says delivered 18.50 but it was19.05. Food only luke warm. Chicken pakora was oily in a very thick batter.

Lovely food chicken korma to die for

Lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and chips. Lovely, vindaloo could have been abit hotter for me (spice hot nor temperature) but other than that, definitely recommend. Thanks Taj Mahal staff x

Only let down was the lamb dish I ordered,lamb was chewy and the dish was just pieces of lamb and sauce! Everything else was lovely though.

Good value buying the banquet but when ordering extras they always forget something from the order, this time it was the poppadoms. Which is a shame because there food is good.

Absolutely disgusting, meals missing & what was delivered resembled nothing to what we ordered. The 2nd pic is ment to be a butterfly prawn starter .... look's like a burnt deep fried chicken thigh. Called them to complain & when they delivered the missing food I gave them back what they sent & said ask the COOK no way did he deserve the right to be called a chef would he eat that. Don't waste your money

Ordered 2 man banquet and 1 man banquet. Five out of 5, food came quickly, food was hot. Lots of food and lots of meat in the meals. Can recommend.
