Taj Balti in South Tyneside

I regularly order from this curry house and the food is always perfect, I ordered a delivery last night but when it arrived my onion bhaji’s were missing, I rang them immediately and they said they would send their delivery driver back out with them, they didn’t arrive so I rang them back tonight to ask why they weren’t delivered and they apologised as they had gave them to their delivery driver to deliver to us, they said they would send them back out tonight, Christmas Eve even though they are extremely busy, the owner of the curry house has just knocked on the door with our full order for free as an apology, I really only expected the onion bhaji’s so was extremely appreciative for this, it just confirms to me that they really are the best curry house around and the staff are so nice, whoever orders from them won’t be disappointed

Lovely food, delivered hot and ready to eat, only problem was no keema in the ordered keema/garlic naan. Ordered something we’ve never heard of before but proved a good choice. Spicy chips, Bengal jalfrezi and tikka khushboo

As regulars at Taj we placed an order for our sons 21st birthday. Amazing food, fabulous quality and they certainly pulled out all the stops! Highly recommend and will continue to order from these lovely people. Thank you

Beautiful food as always. Great portion size and choice. Been coming here for past 20 years. Never go anywhere else for a curry. Brill. Highly recommended.

I am very fussy eater, and use to dislike Indian food. I have been to a few places and never have I ever came across a nann that I enjoyed apart from Taj balti. I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order arrived and the quality of the food was fantastic. Looking forward to ordering again.

Don't usually use this place and won't again. The most bland tasteless balti I have ever experienced in 40 years. Asda Indian takeaway far superior. Don't waste your money.

Popped in for a take-away. Madras, Veg Pilau, Keema Nan ....... superb taste & even better price. Will pop back in soon

This is by far the best indian take away by miles, never ever have we enjoyed our meal as much as the food from here, and my word the keema paratha is to absolutely die for. thanks guys will be back again :)
