Rated 1 because of the starter. Main course of sirloin steak and salad not fit for a dog. Steak didn’t taste of anything and salad swimming in a tasteless dressing. Other meal was a mixed grill. And that was no better. Not often my partner leaves chips!!!! That’s how bad it was. Staying at the premier inn so as I wrote this I am dreading breakfast. Will not be visiting again and we are staying in the premier inn for 5 nights…..

Family came to visit us and stayed at the Premier Inn. The Trevithick is independently owned and currently up for sale! Not surprised as we booked a table for 8pm and last orders were called at 8.45pm. No more drinks not even a coffee - the coffee machine had been switched off.! Was told they were closing early to comply with opening hours on Good Friday. Restricted licensing hours on Good Friday were abolished years ago - must think we came up the river yesterday!! Felt ashamed as locals it spoilt our evening with our family how unwelcoming for visitors . Food was nice and the young waitress very polite but was clearly embarrassed obviously the management was the problem. The sooner new owners are found the better.

Absolutely phenomenal service from a lovely lady who works here named Kelsey, she has gone above and beyond her service, she always had a smile on her face made me and my dad feel welcomed and got my dad mushrooms which we thank the chef for giving him a decent portion, if your looking for a great place that serves great food and has lovely service table table Trevithick inn in Camborne is the place you want to come to, all the staff are lovely, from working in a customer care base restaurant myself the care and friendliness I had was 10⭐️ in my review, also thankyou for making my birthday special today

First impressions, cigarette butts, hundreds of them and litter outside the front door in the gravel and plants around the entrance. Dirty glasses on every outside table and litter everywhere. Staff abrupt, no interest in being welcoming - barking questions, couldn’t serve fast enough, so uninterested in any polite or welcoming customer service. Felt like I was bothering her. Food is basic, nothing is fresh here which is fair enough, ping and ding but as staying at the premier inn it’s convenient - presentation shocking, thrown onto plate no garnish or anything to make it look appealing. I chose not to eat my food after checking out some of the reviews on here. Wish I’d check the reviews first! My table was pushed up next to the waiter station - I was able to stare at a bottle of cleaning spray while enjoying my time here. The walls are scuffed, it’s all a bit run down and tired, and not looked after. Avoid, honestly I wouldn’t even bother it’s awful.

Really slow service to be seated and the lady mentioned straight away we'd be waiting ages for food as hadn't booked, we weren't bothered and took a seat anyway. Service was really slow at the bar to order food and drinks and i believe it was either a supervisor or a manager that was voicing her opinion walking around staying of 'how ridiculous the place was'.... maybe more staff rostered in would have eased things? Once the food was ordered it was at our table within 20 minutes and was lovely, hot and plentiful.

Our waiter Matty was the best. Very friendly, nothing too much trouble, funny and attentive. He made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. Service was prompt and food very tasty. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, also desserts were delicious. Would highly recommend. Thank you matty for making it the perfect evening 😊

Although Table Table is not at the higher end of restaurant experiences we have always found the food to be value for money. The staff hard working and courteous, and the Trevithick Inn is no exception, although they are often unfortunately a bit thin on the ground - this inevitably leads to them becoming stressed at busy times. On this occasion we were served by Demi who was friendly, witty and efficient, so Management - you should value her!

What a great place to eat! We enjoyed two steaks served to us by Matty who was courteous, friendly and professional. Having been made so welcome we will definitely be coming back!

We visited at 9 am for breakfast. Once we had paid, we discovered that BOTH of the coffee machines were out of order, and the alternative was a flask of hot water with Nescafe sachets. The 'hot' food was not hot. The fruit juice was reconstituted and tasted synthetic. There was a distinct lack of staff, and we were unable to find anyone to complain to. I did try to phone the Inn during the day, but nobody answered . I finally got hold of a manager the day after: he said the machines were now fixed, and he hoped the experience hadn't put me off. He made nothing of the food not being hot. I don't think we shall return Mr Manager.

Emily was a great host! Very friendly and chatty!! Had a roast ,it was so nice!! Pudding was amazing!! Lots of choice!! We will definitely come back,we are quite regular customers!

Excellent service, proper food and excellent attentive staff, Matty and Adam are great. The lovely waitress that cleared our plates today (didn’t get her name) was a breath of fresh air. Eat here every week and never had a bad meal yet.

It was awful I got given food poisoning by the curry and the burgers came out raw twice and in the end we had to cut short a holiday in cornwall

An overnight stop at the next-door Premier Inn following a holiday on the Scillies. Booked a table online for 20.45 but on arrival at the Premier Inn were told the Trevithick Inn was closing at 9pm. We know from experience that travel can be disrupted by weather. Luckily we were on time, able to drop our bags and get to the restaurant by 8.20pm, so no problem. Staff and meal were all good, but it should not have been possible to book a table for 8.45 if the kitchen was closed by 9pm. We and a family of 4 were the last to leave at 9.25pm!

Was given sat at a table given menus ordered our drinks. When ready to order was then told no roasts which we both wanted. Waited another 45 minutes no one came to take our order went to the bar and try and order was ignored. So walked out.

Stopped here for some food on our way back from lands end, arrived around 7.30pm with 3 grumpy hungry children only a couple of minutes wait for a table to be laid, we had julie taking our order she was lovely not only talking to us but our children too. Only a short wait for our food to arrive, julie brought the children over activity sheets to keep them entertained. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Arrived at 8pm for evening meal after a long journey last night. Kids were starting to get tired but needed something to eat. Stood at the “please wait here to be seated” sign for over 10 minutes before being seen to. Sat at table for another 10/15 minutes before my husband went to find a waitress.Once served, the waitresses were very good, looked after us well and even talked to us about places to visit locally. The food was very good and they accommodated my children’s requests for alterations to their meals.As detailed in the title, I think this restaurant could just be made better with more staff! Food was very good though!

My partner and I were joined by family members for an evening meal. Service was excellent except for one male member who brought drinks to the table, slopped beer all over, no apology no interaction at all just appeared to be somewhere else. Meals were generally quite good although the vegetarian options for my partner left quite a lot to be desired although they did provide an excellent jacket potato from the early evening menu. overall almost but not quite.

Such a lovely place to eat. Really like the decor and the layout it is rather cosy compared to other establishments. Service was wonderful and attentive and food was very good indeed. Big shout out to Simon who was excellent and made the visit that little bit extra. Well done and I will be back.

i don’t normally write reviews but I had two varying experiences in Camborne worth sharing at the budget end of the scale.We had a disappointing lunch at the Copper Coast and set our sight low when we chose the Trevithick Inn. My heart sank when I saw the place was busy and only a couple of waitresses running around and sure enough we were told there would be a wait when we were seated. In total we waited for about 45 minutes for our food to be delivered, which was not great but our waitress (an American lady called Judy or Julie) kept us stocked with drinks as well as chasing the order for us which was very nice. So different from the sullen service the day before, and whilst the food was not fine dining, it was cooked well, presented well and served with a smile, despite being understaffed.

Adjacent to the Premier Inn this is used as the Breakfast venue. Good selection of evening meals and nice ambiance. Will call back again.

Once again served by Simon and he was just lovely, really made our night, as did the lovely food and yummy Rhubard Sundae!!!!

Stopped for breakfast while on our way for a day out. Lovely fresh assortment of cooked items available and friendly staff (Rachel). Good value for us as kids eat free.

I went to the Trevithick Inn as a stop off on my way back home from a short stay in Hayle. Me and my boyfriend had a lovely meal I had the cluck and ale burger and it was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how swiftly the food came and the customer service. A young lady named Oona? I cant quite remember her name lovely young girl with short brown hair. Was ever so kind, and had a lovely conversation with her. Nowadays waitresses/waiters just take your order and leave and this can be awkward however I had such a lovely experience. Therefore if you're near I would definitely recommend

Don't book the breakfast deal here you'll be sorely dissatisfied, eggs that look like they died of old age, no milk in the coffee machine (which means espresso or nothing) and all the sauce bottles I picked up from the tables were empty. So annoying when you pay well over what it should be in the first place! If you're here get up 30 mins earlier and head to the beach, there are loads of good cafes that are 100 times better than this lazy lought of a "restaurant"

Table table you should be ashamed at the meals you served us today. Out of the 7 meals only one was edible . We waited an hour and everything was either burnt or dried out. And the excuses were lame to say the least. Apparently the chef didnt know how to cook plain fish, only in batter which was why it was so rubbery. The childs burger was black with a rock hard bread roll and a lot was cold. We thought the calamari was pork scratchings they were so crispy and burnt!For meals that ranged between £11 and £16 this was truly unacceptable. No we didn't pay for anything but neither could we eat anything. Bit of a disappointing birthday meal.

I've eaten here a few times, it isn't somewhere I would choose based on the food, it's ok but that's about it. The time previous to my last visit I came for someone's birthday and the staff seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else and some of the food that came out was still frozen. On the last visit the food was ok. The best part and only real highlight was Julie who was delightful. The breakfasts are much better than the evening meals. Also, breaded garlic mushrooms with bbq sauce shouldn't be a thing.

Visited here with my parents while on holiday in Cornwall, from the moment we entered till the moment we left we felt very welcome, the customer service was second to none and the food was fantastic. All the ladies on shift were very helpful and energetic and really excelled at their jobs so hats off to them all, would definitely visit here again, our main waitress was Sarah and she was phenomenal so well done all and keep up the good work.

Have come too visit Table Table (16th June) EVERY person on my table has finished there food and mine has not yet been delivered. When question I was given the excuse of “your meal has appeared to have been lost, Will be put as soon as possible”. Will not be returning. 20 minute wait and no appearance of food. Will stick to McDonald’s drive through. At least they don’t give poor excuses of lost food.

We were in early around 6pm. Wait for the meals was very lengthy.We all ordered something different.When they arrived the peas, mushrooms, tomato were cold.Also the steak on the steak frites was lukewarm.The cheese topped chicken was very overdone, therefore difficult to cut. It arrived with thin cut fries, not chips as ordered. Very little evidence of barbeque sauce at all.Rump steak was very grisly, also difficult to cut. Desserts were better, also a long wait. Custard was a very measly portion.The waitress explained they were short staffed in the kitchen. She was very polite and friendly, and apologetic.Thank goodness we had a discount voucher which softened the blow slightly.It took two and a quarter hours to complete the meal for 5 of us.Will be very reluctant to visit the restaurant again.Worst meal I had during my weeks holiday.

Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Made sure we knew who our server was. Service was efficient without feeling rushed. The food was good and individual requirements met. Great value for money

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Table Table. The restaurant itself was quite big with cosy areas that could easily accommodate large families. The decor was good, modern and yet homely. The quality of the food was great and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. There is a very large car park at the front too. Very well run restaurant.

Popped in for lunch with my wife. Friendly staff who were attentive but not annoying. Good pint and food was delicious. Recommended.

The main reason that I am writing this review is to congratulate the staff on their superb service. Sarah, our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. She makes the best hot chocolate with all the trimmings!! The food was excellent value as we chose to have the 2 mains for £8.99. We would highly recommend a visit.

Just popped in for a bite to eat with my sister and children on the way past. We hadnt booked but were found a table for 6 of us and seated right away. Our order was taken within a few minutes and the food was lovely. Service was friendly and our waitress was great with the children making them laugh and giggle we felt really at home and nothing seemed too much trouble. Will definatly visit again soon.

Had the lunchtime 2 meals for £8.99 deal. My burger was ok, my wife’s chicken and ham pie looked like it had been kicking around for a while. That night she was repeatedly violently sick, and spent the following day in bed. Of course I’m not suggesting that she had food poisoning from the aforementioned pie, but we won’t be returning.

Lovely place to visit on a Fri night with our young family, exceptionally friendly service, good, nicely cooked food, excellent value for money and nice atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The kids menu is fantastic, great choice and with deserts they completely loved. We will go back!

We popped in to the Trevithick Inn for a family meal on the spur of the moment after passing on our way home from a trip out. The food was tasty and served hot, which was very welcome! Children’s meals were great value for money and our little one enjoyed all courses! Our waitress Rachel was very pleasant and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had all we needed. Overall good experience and we would be happy to return.

Visited the Trevithick Inn on three occasions during our weekend trip to Cornwall, once for breakfast and twice for our evening meal.

Had a lovely visit again to the table table.

Because we hadn’t booked it was a shame that the duty manager Vicky wasn’t as nice as her waitress and bar staff, we walked in not having been here before and was told that because we hadn’t booked we had to be seated in the bar area. However had she shown us where the bar area seating was and the table cleaned i don’t think it would have been a problem. But the fact is 1) we didn’t know where the bar seating area was, 2) the table wasn’t clean 3) the reception off the duty manager was dispicable.

Very nice and friendly staff which makes the process very easy. Food was excellent. Very nice and clean. Didn't have to wait long for the food

Love it every time we come which is very often! 9 times out of ten we have Sarah C as our waitress and she is amazing we even request that if she's working that she is our server. Food was beautiful, dessert was top notch. As always fat, full and happy!!

Haven't been here for about 8 years, I can see why. Food & service diabolical! Got missed when trying to sort drinks. Very slow with food which was very plain, dry & expensive!

What can I say? If you like microwaved, mass produced, poor quality food, then this is for you. The staff are pleasant enough. The beer is just okay. But the food is low quality chain pub stuff. I know, I’ve worked for a company that supplies these pub chain foods, all packaged up for their freezers. There must be better places to eat out, surely. Only used it as we were staying in the Premier Inn, otherwise.... avoid

Met our friends for lunch. I had the salmon and fresh veg, delicious. Couldn't resist the fruit crumble and custard to finish off the meal, yummy

Visited the table table with children after school. Lovely lady called Ally served us. The food was excellent and brilliant value for money especially the kids meals.

As mentioned by others, service does leave a lot to be desired at this establishment, which must go back onto the management. Restaurant no more than a third full. Food also variable. Our food was "ok" but noted other tables were complaining about theirs.

We came on the 9th February 2019 and was a party of 15. We had a great time celebrating my mums 70th and we had such a lovely waitress called Juliana (5226), she did a great job and was very bubbly.

Stayed in the Premier Inn next door for two nights and due to being very busy, we were too tired to travel so we ate here both evening. Both evenings we were met by the same person at the front (assume she was some sort of manager as was in normal clothes). She did not smile once and seemed very grumpy and fed up. Asked if we had booked and we said no. Was then told it’d be a long wait, although restaurant was half empty. We glanced around at all the empty tables and she then changed her mind and said there is a table.

First time at this place, it was clean and tidy . Staff friendly and efficient. Being Coeliac they offered me a gluten free menu, making my ordering of food so much easier. Food was nice and hot, no complaints.

We have visited the Trevithick Inn many times for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have never had a bad meal or a bad time here. Our visit today was absolutely brilliant though!

Our first ever visit to a Table Table Restaurant and we were not disappointed. Very efficient staff and the service was prompt, friendly and cherrful. The food was nicely presented and full of flavour. Breakfast was excellent, as always with restaurants tied to Premier Inns the choice was wide and delcious. The buffet items were nice and hot and nothing was too much trouble like poached eggs or porridge. Sausages and bacon were great and cooked to perfection. You can always rely on a great breakfast at these venues.

In our group of 4 nobody particularly enjoyed their food. Personally I order the thai green curry and it arrived almost cold. The feta cheese lasagne was the only dish that was enjoyed but the portion size was far too small. Fish and chips was only half eaten and gammon steak was soso. The chocolate brownie dessert was actually quite nice but again portion size very small.

Another superb evening meal at Trevithick Inn. I had the festive rump perfectly done medium rare. My wife had rib eye steak my son had double stack cheese and bacon and our grand children had cheese burger and popping chicken. We had a lovely evening with lovely friendly staff. Thankyou.

Staying next door at Premier Inn. Only offer good report as we were sometimes 2 then 3 and eating at odd times during 4 days. All food was fine and served with a smile from various members of staff, due to our irregular eating.Seems popular with locals of all ages. Weather was foul but Table Table was well warm enough. Breakfast was also fine with Continental or Full English, perhaps a bit expensive. Quite happy to return.

Me and my friend decided the night before to eat here for lunch and the food did not disappoint! The festive rump was great and cooked perfectly to how I like it. The children's meals are a fantastic value for money and very generous portions.

We booked our work Christmas lunch here for the third year running as the previous years were so good. We made the booking in August and we sent our menu choices to the email address in advance so there would be no need for time wasted ordering. When we arrived our table was not ready - this was a works Christmas lunch so our time was limited - we asked could we have some snacks to keep us ticking over till the table was ready but they were not forthcoming. An hour later we were placed at a table which was not set for Christmas - our orders were still not ready so we asked for some snacks again. When asked if we could have Christmas crackers the waitress was very rude and spoke in such a manner that we will not book there again. The food was slow to come out and 2 staff were left waiting for their meal too long. The other staff at Tabke Tabke were very apologetic for the way we were spoken to, however most of the team had to leave without finishing their meal due to work commitments. It was a very disappointing afternoon for our works Christmas lunch.

Where do I begin!? Our wonderful colleague had called up and booked a Christmas meal for a party of 16 well in advance (August 2018) for an NHS staff meal, at Trevithick Table Table, for Tuesday 17th December. She had collected our menu choices months before and sent them to the manager to ensure all went smoothly on the day.

I came in a few weeks ago, with my friend. I had amazing service, by a very welcoming waitress. She was lovely, I believe her name was Amelia. So welcoming, and polite. I will definitely be coming more often:)

Having eaten here on numerous occasions we were disappointed with the meal/service this time.o

Went with friends , service was dreadful , 2.5 hrs to eat 2 courses , very unhelpful staff , often ignored during our visit.

Food was decent and good sized portions at a reasonable price and arrived within good time. Waiter and waitress we had were very friendly and provided very good service. Would definitely stop by again.

Went for a meal for two in the evening nice and early.

We both had the christmas steak, it was excellent, the staff were great, service. was excellent. It was warm and comfortable. We had the Malbec, two large glasses and you get the bottle, which was very enjoyable.

We ate here recently for a family Christmas meal (in November!), and have to say, it was a disappointing meal.

I came here for a meal with my husband and young children last week. We all enjoyed our meals and were especially pleased with the service we were given from the blonde waitress, I believe she was called Olivia. We will be coming back soon.

Had a really good meal and deserts which didn't take long to come even though we wouldn't have minded if it didn't. We was served by a welcoming and professional waitress called Amelia. Would definitely go back there again.

I've eaten here twice with family recently and on both occasions we've had great food and excellent service. We had the same server, Julie, for both meals and we think she is fantastic; so friendly and efficient. Also, as a coeliac, I greatly appreciated the separate gluten free menu. We also loved their Christmas tree!

Food barely edible, wrong bill twice, have had previous bad experience but thought I would try again, wish I never. drive past and go into Camborne, Wetherspoons is a lot better and a lot cheaper.

Arrived at 7pm to be told there were no restaurant tables available until 8.15 although there were dozens of tables empty. Found a bar table eventually and ordered food. Was left waiting for an hour for food to arrive and witnessed numerous tables order food and finish theirs before I ended up finding manager and complaining about the poor service. She apologised but there was no excuse why it had happened. Staying in Premier Inn next door for 2 weeks but won't be eating here again. I'll take my custom elsewhere.

This was our first stop when arriving on holiday and I can’t fault anything. We were served by an American lady called Julie and she was brill. She was run off her feet yet remained super friendly and helpful. She really made our visit! The food was lovely and really good value, we ordered from the 2 for £8.99 menu and the portions were a good size and the food was lovely. We also ordered deserts and again, these were spot on. Very clean baby changing facilities. If we lived near, we’d be visiting again.

Been here many times before and always received food which we have regarded as fair value for money. Tonight’s meal was very disappointing........ the portions seem to have got smaller...... the gammon steak was very thin, the Scampi was small, & to cap it all there was no tartar sauce to be had.

I use table table a lot for work lunches and I think I have an addiction to the meat pie and mash . Nice staff team that work hard and always pleasant even tho a lot of people to serve . Keep it up

Where do I start? We have visited the Trevithick Inn many times over the last 4 years, but last night was a huge dissapointment and we probably will never return.

Very good value, particularly if travelling with children as children eat for "free". Would have given 5* rating based on first morning, but 2nd morning we arrived just before 10am, and although breakfast was served until 10.30am lots of things were running low. They did put out more freshly baked pastries, but not many. Still very good though and we'll go back next time we're staying in the Premier Inn next door

When we arrived we had to wait a couple of minutes to be seen but the restaurant was busy at lunch time so it was understandable. Before us there was a family of 5 waiting to be seated that were very rude to the hostess but she handled it extremely well, politely offering them a seat in the bar area even after the man had shouted at her for having no free tables for them in the restaurant.

This is a restaurant in an excellent location which we use very often and last night we again had an exceptional family evening experience. We were greeted by Fran A. to our table who had also served breakfast earlier to my disabled family members.

Had dinner here with family. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Taking advantage of a “40% off mains” voucher made the evening great value. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good-value, enjoyable meal.

Came in for breakfast at around 10am, the waitress took our order and we started to eat, after around half an hour the front of house staff started packing away the breakfast buffet without any warning. Also when we came in we were not told that there was only half an hour left else I would have gone somewhere else. After spending nearly £20 on two breakfasts I felt that I had spent way more than I had eaten. Not the service I am used to at this restaurant.

Great family friendly pub, huge menu choice and lovely staff. Fantastic kids menu. Ample parking and clean, tidy venue.

We'd booked in advance and arrived promptly. We were greeted by Ben, who showed us to our table and as we already knew what we wanted, he took our order.

WE were staying at the Premier Inn and eat in the Table Table most nights. The food is very good for Pub Grub and the service is excellent. We only had one poor experience when the meals were not up to standard but the staff dealt with it quickly and efficiently and were very attentive to our needs from then on.

Having read the reviews for meals for this place we were a bit wary about eating here so we thought we would give it a go and we found our meal was absolutely fine typical food from a pub thats attached to a premier inn and have to say the staff are lovely too
