Met the new owners, they are warm and inviting. I had Lamb Biriyani, which was flavourful and cooked wonderfully. Recommended

I thought I would try as under NEW OWNERS & was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. I have just had a chicken biryani & veg curry, food was really tasty & decent size portions. New owners seem very nice so I will definitely be using this curry house again

I bought a meal for my wife and my self and was charged £22.59 which was more than I thought. When I checked on the prices from the Takeaway Menu, which I had picked up a few days before, it should have been £21.50. The charged price was from there online menu. This should be reported to the Trading Standards for them not displaying the correct prices!!

Haven’t ordered for a while. But the food was amazing. Totally worth giving it a try.

Last night I had order some food from this place on "just eat" after waiting over x1 hour my slot said it would arrive between 8.50pm and 9.10pm at 9.15pm in my phone up said the food had been delivered when I dint received any food so I decided to call this place to ask for my food and for my surprise they said they did delivery when I complained and asked for the manager or the director for my surprise he came to the phone and was so rude to me saying that they did delivered the food but i kept saying that they did not as I didn't received it he started to shout at me and being rude I could not believe it I was so stressed which I asked for a refund he continued shouting at me that i received the food refusing to believe anything i was saying so I asked him to describe what I looked like so he decide to talk to the driver that arrived while I was on the phone and the driver apparently delivered to the wrong address so he started to shout at the driver saying he was shouting at me and been rude to me because of this driver mistake so he started to apologise to me saying it was the driver mistake but at this time I was so stressed and shaken, it meant to be a nice evening but turned out to be a night mare. I will never order again from this place things can go wrong but to treat a customer the way he treated me is very low. Al

Disappointing, food arrived an hour late with dishes missing and with concern over whether some of the chicken was fully cooked. Spoke to someone at restaurant who couldn't care less and made it quite clear my business was not important to them. Shame as this used to be an amazing place to get food but standards have fallen a long way recently.

Hard to rate the food as it never turned up. We phoned the restaurant & were told by different people it was definitely on its way. 2 and a half hours after placing the order, no food appeared. Don’t waste your time! Absolute joke.

Just spent 26 quid for the worst korma and tikka masala and naan dinner ever chicken is too big tasted sugary of rice or curry sauce never again shocked as it says on their window they won awards for best in southeast maybe ten years ago most of food went down the toilet inedible never go again blah

Food arrived in time stated but have to say chicken was the driest hardest pieces of meat I have ever eaten from an Indian takeaway ever. Onion bhajiis were well moody didn't like at all. My fiancee also said driver stunk of cigarettes when arrived with the food which is also quite rank in my opinion when delivering someone's food but maybe that's just my opinion. Ordered a few times before and been OK but on this experience I will opt to go elsewhere in future for sure and won't be using them again

Very disappointed. Been ordering from them for last 8 years. Not ordered in a while a treat for daughter home from uni. Onion bhajiis no mint sauce apparently when I phoned need to order separately. Never had that before with any Indian. If I’d have known would have ordered. Prawn dhansak prawns really chewy. Sorry we won’t be ordering again. The lettuce with bhajiis will go in bin would rather have had mint sauce!

WORST INDIAN EVER naan bread was stale all the food was cold It's the worst I've ever eaten very disappointed

Ordered food. Delivery time should have been 40. After 90 mins called and was told the food had left for delivery, (code for we have missed your order). 30 mins later dood turned up really hot which was impressive as i live 2mins from the restaurant and it was out for 30 mins. No sauce or flavour to the curry. No dips. Or poppadom and the rice tasted funky.

Always a great experience ordering from Taal Indian Kitchen, the food is so tasty and probably the best iv had in the area so far. Portions are perfect and food is always delivered steaming hot, plus friendly staff. Id recommend the Chicken Ceylon and coconut rice, my favourite dish from this restaurant, oh and the Mixed Pickle is amazing. 10/10 recommend.

First they sent me the wrong order because they run out of tandoori chicken , when i complained they were so rude to me it was unbelievable, the customer service skills where absolutely shocking ! I ended up having a massive row with the owner who frankly should NOT be running a restaurant, this is the worst experience I have encountered with a takeaway restaurant, And I will not be ordering from here ever again ! Avoid at all costs !

I placed my order it said it would be 40min to a hour I called after a hour and a half to say one of the drivers had a accident, I called back in 15 minutes later to be told that my order was being freshly made it would be with me in 15-20 min. It eventually arrived and the order was wrong and missing rice, and to top it off was not fresh but cold and nasty I called in to be told that they could nit do anything now as they was closing. Cold food wrong order and now nothing they can do, its to late to order another Indian. Waste of money no customer service and have been lied to

The quality of the food here is sadly lacking. The first time I've ever received a chewy naan bread, and the flavours were just so bland. Also, the portions were significantly smaller than those received at different Indian takeaways... but the price wasn't much cheaper. Cant fault the delivery time, but not one I'll be choosing again, sorry !

I must say I was a bit worried ordering from here yesterday, after reading the negative reviews of recent, but I remembered it was a good takeaway once, so I thought why not. And... It did not disappoint. The food was fresh, delivered very quickly and still hot, well seasoned and tasty, good portions sizes, could not fault it. I can't give it 5 starts as I reserve those for truly special diners, but it is a solid 4*. Thanks

Both dishes look and taste the exact same! No difference at all! A thick layer of grease on top of both, I mean 5mm each! How are they even trading????

Fantastic staff from the lady who answered the phone, chefs and delivery driver. All dishes tasted different and not swimming in oil. Fantastic job done by all and satisfied customers who have found a new takeaway in Chatham. Well done to the taal Indian kitchen staff.

So have received my food in a timely manner however the layer of mould and scum on the top of the mint sauce is grotesque and if this is the way in which this kitchen sends its food out then I am very concerned. So with this I called the taal kitchen to alert them to this; they didn't seem phased and just offered for the sauce to be collected, not recognising that we would not want to take a chance eating any of it! when I explained that if this is what they would send out to the consumer why would I trust that the rest of the food is any good or treated with the same low and aphorant disregard to hygiene and cleanliness. Especially in these times of heightened personal hygiene being paramount you would think this wouldn't happen

Gone downhill badly - we loved this takeaway, food was always spot on, to be fair it still is! BUT - we have had the wrong order the last two times we have ordered, food missing or the wrong dish, which has really put us off now - we are going to try another one - when one considers how much we have spent here in the last 3-4 years its highly frustrating. Tonight's food being both wrong and missing was the last straw - I don't know if it is a staff change or what but its a poor customer service let down - I reiterate, the food is sumptuous as long as you get what you ordered.

Terrible. Just had meal delivered via Just Eat and I live quite close to this place so I would have expected the food to arrive warm at least!! Everything was cold, so they will be getting the cold shoulder from me in future! Amazes me how a takeaway business can get the basics so wrong!!

We have ordered many times from Tall. The food is always well presented, of a good portion size and tastes really good. The 'take-Away' service is prompt and delivers to Peters Village in Wouldham, where other Indians do not. First time been here and will be my last.. Keema rice is supposed to have the red meat in it, ours was more like puree, no fill in it at all... Rice very bland and the curry, there was hardly any sauce, was dry.. I will definitely stick to my other Indian.. I can't see this place being about long.. My other Indian taste twice as good and do deals at a cheaper price .Awful

Tried for the first time today as we had a leaflet through the door and thought we'd give it a chance. The prices appeared to be in line with most other Indian takeaways, on reflection the prices were high in comparison to the quality of the food. Poppadoms were stale. Bombay potatoes were boiled potatoes in a bland sauce. Rice was bland. Korai lamb was ok. Chicken makhani sauce was tasty but the chicken was dry and tasteless. Naans were nice. Delivery was quick and food arrived hot. Will not be using again.... once was enough. Personally I would say not the best example of Indian cuisine.

First time ordering and will not be ordering again sadly. Fancied an indian takeaway for ages and decided tonight will be the night for my partner's birthday. Picked a restaurant that had the most reviews and sounded the best. To be really disappointed at what had arrived. The chicken pieces in the Chicken tikka and butter chicken was so dry and tough. However the tikka sauce was nice but the butter chicken sauce tasted like dish soap. Meat and egg in special fried rice was over cooked. Garlic naan was also very dry. I understand not every meal can be 100% perfect but I really did not feel that any love had been put into this takeaway at all☹

First time iv had a Indian from this place and will be the last almost 40 pound in the bin food was stone cold ,very watery no flavour at all .nan bread so thin and crispy just couldn't eat it ,I have given one star didn't really want to give any so disappointed worse one yet .

The order to Taal Indian Kitchen was made via Just Eats. After a grueling week my nhs partner (A local nhs GP) and myself had no will to cook supper We ordered from an extensive menu, not convinced, by the location address of the take-away. This was a big mistake. We couldn't have been more pleased. The food was delivered, by a polite driver, who found our address (the house is a new build) observing social distancing, beautifully packaged, hot and of a good portion size. The food was cooked beautifully, meat was soft, vegetables al-dente and well presented and more importantly so flavorsome to eat. We were so surprised by this. We will have no hesitation in ordering directly from Taal Village Kitchen in the future. Well done to the team at Taal Indian Kitchen. Top marks.

Really positive experience of Taal Indian Kitchen. Food arrived promptly, respecting social distancing. The delivery agent was most courteous in receiving a tip, which we had sellotaped to the door. The food was so well packaged, was of a good portion size and was excellent. No complaints at all and we were sceptical from ordering from this part of Chatham. The delivery agent, found the address with no issues. We live in a new build and order take-aways has proved a challenge. He knew the area well. We will have no hesitation from order directly in the future. (we used Just eats, as they offered my nhs partner and myself 25% discount). Food took too long to arrive so was barely warm when it did get to me (via just eat). Jalfrezi had about as much heat as my fridge and I need binoculars to find my naan bread. Terrible, won't use again

This was the worst ever indian food of my life. Madras curry was just like eating vegetables soaked watery flavourless gravy. No flavors what so ever. Dansan was also very below average. Food was late and cold. Poppadam were not crunchy. Avoid ordering from this place unless you want to waste your money. Very very very disappointed. I am never going to order from here in future.

I give one start because there is no minus rating option. Look and packaging is really a good. Portion size is good. But the food is just waste of money. I really feel like I waste my money. Curry is not cooked properly it was just watery no taste no flavour. Biryani is also tasteless and I found some crunch like Stone in that biryani. I never recommend that restaurant.

We just ordered a chicken tikka masala which tastes like chicken in tomato soup and very thin and runny. awful! The dhansak tasted flourey never tasted anything like it before, disgusting texture appalling! The Chapati is rock solid. Seems like they have thrown anything into make a curry! Never had anything like it

Excellent food, really tasty and not drenched in oil.

Tough lamb, overcooked really dry, both currys very oily, kofte curry wasnt kofte, more like a shami kebab. Naan was very doughy. Onion bajis dry. Salad looked old, first meal here was really nice, second time round not good at all. Dont think il go back. Left half my meal and other half didnt like hers either.

Very average mixed grill. I ordered it for an 8:30 collection. Got a text literally 7 minutes after ordering telling me it was ready. I was over half an hour away hence why I wanted it at a specific time. Unless they had everything ready to go, I do not believe you can cook tandoori mixed grill in 7 minutes, unless it's warmed up. No real flavour and the meat was a bit dry. Could have done with a naan bread included which most places now have or at least mention that it is not included. Not sure I will be back in a hurry.

In all the years I've had curries this has got 2 be the worst. Everything was cold . The nann breads were small and felt like they had come out the fridge . The portions were tiny the Currys were cold and watery . And I can't even explain what the so called dripping of grease Pakora was. I've given this 1 star because there was no minus score . Would I use this place again . Not if I was dying of starvation

Had a take away from here about 2 weeks ago with my family, we ordered many different dishes and all can put hot and yummy! We all loved the food and will definitely be ordering from here again! Keep it up guys!

My partner and i had a lovely meal again tonight. . This time kashmir chicken tikka and lamb jalfresya.. Such lovely flavors and the meat is always so tender .. the rice was nice and moist.. Customer service is always BRILLIANT... 😊

Pilau rice was still almost white, lamb bhuna, I had to swallow the meat whole it was so hard to chew, onions bhaji was horrible and I can’t even describe the taste of the Bombay potatoes!! All the reviews are great so I can’t understand why my meal was so bad!! My partner said theirs was fine, maybe i just got a bad batch!

As many do... We wonder what takeaway food from a new shop would be like. Was delivered on time. We ordered an array of different food. All 100% cooked to perfection. Not one item were oily. Tasted fresh. Chicken was succulent as expected. Rice wasn’t dried out and the selection of sauces were fab. Would recommend to anyone that loves a local meal. Thank You. Will order again soon

I have never left a review before but for this I had too. Food was obviously old, yesterdays food. Maybe our mistake for ordering just after opening, All dishes were far too watery and genrally unpleasant to eat. The 'flaming hot' naga chilli was disapointinly mild, I have eaten real naga chilli many times before and this was not naga chilli.. Overall very disapointing for the price.

not like indian currys used to be, our takeaway was cold. very bland and gave us heartburn. The old indian chefs must have died off now and taken over by british born so called chefs. they need to go back to scratch and learn how to cook authentic, sorry but had and cooked better at home.

I had a fish curry as I am a pescatarian,fish pieces were chunky , rice was mushroom fried which was all lovely well cooked . I ordered a peshwari naan that was tasty too . It also came with a sauce for the naan and a tub of onion salad and a poppadom.Very filling will have again
