Fantastic food and was a decent price too. Pleasantly surprised that my food was ready quicker than I expected as well! The young lady at the counter was very polite and a model of good customer service.

Very disappointed in raj rani tonight been waiting nearly 2 hours for a delivery. Never have problems any other times on Saturday but today 2 hours is a joke really. Yes they are busy but it shouldn't take that long for a delivery really ☹️

Not recommended take away very disappointing. Popperdoms not cook wasn't nice and fluffy had to pay extra for veg curry for byrianne spent wrong lol not worth it 😅

Evening I ordered from you on Wednesday evening. Firstly I would like to compliment the lady who processed my order. She is consistently polite, patient and helpful every time I call. She is a credit to your business. Thank you. Unfortunately on this occasion the food I received was below the usual great quality I am used to. I messaged with my concerns today and was surprised to be called by said lady. She listened to me and we discussed my concerns. I always shop locally and have enjoyed the food from RR previously. I have been reassured to order again. A

Person serving was excellent and food was ready when promised. However when ordering a Madras I want some heat. What I got was more like a slightly spicy Tikka Massalla. Please do nt be scared to add the spice the dish deserves. I will definitely go again as food was great and peshwari naan amazing. Heat it up please!!!

1st collection tonight. Wasn't massively hot when home within 3 mins. Garlic chilli chicken was salty. Naan was really tough and not fresh. Rice wasnt particularly fresh.

Ordered at 18.15, ordered starters and a mains Delivery took just over 60 minutes, however only the main course was delivered. Made two phone calls and waited a further hour for my started to be delivered while the main course was sitting on the side getting cold. I feel treat night Saturday night was ruined Very poor Service

Used this place on a fairly regular basis normally very good…… on this occasion the chicken was really dry. The collection time was set for 20 minutes. My wife turned up to collect the food and waited for 35 minutes. Complete waste of time for her, it would have been as quick to have it delivered. The excuse was that it was busy?! I’d imagine Saturdays are in general…..we approached them for some kind of discount seen as it was completely their fault but rather than sort this out in shop they decided to send us away with a “contact just eat and ask for a refund” a very good way to loose customers indeed, as if I’m going to spend more of my time faffing about.

Experienced the two for 20 quid tonight and have to say it was delicious. We are a huge fan of spice fusion and you can tell this is run by the same people. 100% worth the price will be ordering again.

Good value food. Excellent portions, and for us it is very convenient. Very friendly and considerate staff. Menu has great variety, including the ice cream selection!

We have recently moved to the area & this was our first Indian take away we have tried, food was very hot, fresh & tasty, we will now use as our go to place, king prawn tikka masala was delicious

A lovely Indian, had a takeaway for my birthday and was not disappointed, really good prices compared to competition. Shall be ordering from here again! Only reason I mark down is because one order there was no popadoms and the food wasn’t too warm. Every other time they have been great! Makes me hungry just thinking of them!!

Very poor customer service,I placed an order for 2 Curry's 2 rice and a naan bread I then proceeded to pay for my order and delivery fee,my order got the confirmation To then receive a phone call 15 minutes later from a rude member of staff saying that he wanted me to pay £10 extra in cash to the delivery driver if I wanted my food delivered he then said " that's how much the delivery driver wants to make the trip" I made a point of saying it's only 2 miles away from my house and the set delivery fee was all I was willing to pay,I then told him to cancel the order as I am not willing to pay £11.50 for a driver to drive 2 miles I then went to just eat to report this issue as this is a serious matter they have told me there under investigation for scamming customers into paying cash in hand for delivers,where in the middle of a pandemic trying to support our local take aways to be treated like this is unacceptable I do not recommend this place one bit and would stay away from the money grabbing gits I hope they get taken off just eat and closed down

This has been our new local for a few months now, had several meals over the space of 4 months! The meal was fantastic tonight, absolutely delicious! Called to let them know we enjoyed it and asked if they had a new chef, advised he’d been there about 6 weeks! Keep up the good work! Be coming back again soon :)

Delivery time was good, Sag Aloo was probably one of the best we have had. But, the curry (Jalfrezi) was the worst ive had. It must of had the whole pot of salt placed into it, no other flavours and just really not nice. Wont be getting takeaway again from here.

Order on 20th November 2020!! Absolutely awful.. Firstly when delivered, delivery guy was not wearing any mask and no social distancing. When checked order they sent wrong food, called place they sent out new food which was delivered within 10mins. Then half way through eating I started vomiting which I near had before .. Then my husband had issues both ends half way through the night.. Totally bad experience never will go there again!! I give it no stars.. You can't even post unless you put a star in says it all.

Ordered the food and awaited delivery with high expectation. We usually collect but the weather was nasty so this was a new experience. Food delivered within the expected time by a friendly delivery driver (all masked up as per norm these days) The food was hot and exactly what we were expecting. It was delicious and much appreciated after a busy day at work. Whilst the menu is more limited now than before I think that’s an advantage as it means they concentrate more to make the food yummy. Was a bit worried as the Raj rani is under new ownership but we needn’t have worried as all parts of the service was great from speaking to the lovely lady on the phone right through to the food. Will definitely be using the Raj Rani again

After an hour and 15 minutes we called to be told it was out for delivery. It arrived a further 15 minutes later making it 90 minutes from ordering. We were asked if we'd got an old or new menu when we ordered. We presumed old and was told that if we'd had a new one we'd have got a discount! Under new management apparently. It was cold on arrival and when we took the lids off we could see that everything was very greasy. The tarka dall was literally swimming in oil. If we hadn't have known it was under new management, we would have guessed that something had changed as the food wasn't up to the usual standard at all. So, late, cold, very greasy, nowhere near as tasty as before, oh, and we had a rice missing. £35 not well spent and we won't be repeating our mistake. Very disappointed as been loyal customers of Raj Rani for years and years.

It's been taken over , fantastic curry, definitely going back, was rubbish before, keep up the good work.

Simply delightful...! The new management have got it spot on ! I’ve just grabbed a take away on my way home from work.... I was greeted by two friendly and happy to help girls, who took my order promptly and before I knew it my food was ready. Fresh, piping hot and very very tasty. I went for a chicken tikka dansak and it was perfect... lovely sauce with beautiful lentils and nice big succulent pieces of chicken. My plate was soon empty. I highly recommend this place. You just need to experience it for yourself now !

My most favourite Indian in Medway no longer delivers to Gillingham. Used them for years but alas no longer. Clearly doing a good business :(

We have been using Raj Rani for years but recently it has gone REALLY down hill - we have tried to stay loyal, putting it down to teaching problems but the last four or five orders have had items missing or wrong and there is rarely an apology! Tonight was the final straw though - the boiled rice came as pilau rice (again), which I don’t like and the chicken shish kebab roll came as lamb - when I called to complain they wouldn’t send out the right dishes, they would only refund... meaning that one of my children had to sit and watch us eat (whilst I was on the phone complaining so didn’t enjoy my meal) then I had to rustle up a meal for him, which defeated the idea of having a take away In the first place... and it’s not cheap either!!!!!!!! 😡 Needless to say, they have lost our custom!

Called at 6:20 to place a delivery they told us 2 hour wait, we was happy to wait at 7:30 we then received a call saying that our order has Be canceled. With no care on the phone call. We are not happy with the service at all very disappointing as such high recommendations!

I ordered a takeaway for my son's birthday and a joint mother's day meal, before ordering I checked that they were still offering the 10% discount on collection to which they said yes. We ordered and my daughter went to collect on paying them they refused to give the discount. My daughter didn't want to argue so just paid and left. There is no email address or website to contact on, finally I found a message tag on Google so messaged them. Was told to go there before Wednesday to get a refund which I thought was fine. So Tuesday I rang them to see if I could come and collect the refund but was told quite rudely that he knew nothing about it, was too busy to find out and to come back another time and now they're not answering any messages. Firstly they upped the prices once the restaurants had been closed and secondly they want me to keep coming out even though we are told to stay at home at present. If you are going to order from here don't, go to Spice Fusion, at least they honour their promotions and are polite to you.

Sadly we failed to read any of comments posted on Tripadvisor before our first (and last) order.Taking things on face value and being totally fair and 100 % honest, I can only say that parts of tonight's meal was one of the very very worse I have ever eaten..Everything on the order (bar two items) tasted bland, lacking of any spice and tasted of Ghee. (1) The Vegetable curry was watery and completely tasteless. (2) The Chicken Chat was very bland, and lacked any spicy kick that you would expect. (3) The Chicken Biryani had a very strong aftertaste of Ghee.The poppadoms were however nice and crisp and the Mattar paneer tasted good. It was delivered on-time and the female delivery driver was polite. Reading all these negative reviews, I wonder in the management actually care about the food that they serve ?. As disgruntled buyer's, we can only share the word, and hopefully either get things changed, or continue to vote with our feet and order elsewhere.As the title states Caveat Emptor or Buyer Beware !

Each dish was disappointingly bland, couldn’t tell one from another. Also extremely oily as per a previous review. Ordered from this establishment for ease of delivery but will in future stick to collection from Sundar Rachana.

Disappointing. Food was very lacklustre, flavours bland and portion sizes not very generous for the extra cost! and they got part of the order wrong, really rude when I called back to tell them, saying that as they repeated the order back it was my fault and what did I expect them to do!

Raj rain was recommended to us we ordered take away for 6 for home delivery. Went over order twice when it arrived one curry was short. Phoned them up and asked if the missing curry could be sent. They said they must have miss heard order. And the delivery man is out so can't deliver the missed curry Not very helpfull when you have 6 friends round and a dish short So won't be going there again pity currys weren't bad lol

Utterly disgusted with the service and the food from Raj Rani. I had stopped using them 2 years ago due to the watery, bland & tasteless curries which only left me feeling nauseous. However, I took the chance again due to the close proximity of the delivery address - a chance for them to redeem themselves perhaps? No. Clearly, over the last two years their primary focus has been running this place into the ground. Main concerns from last nights order and a few reasons why you should avoid this establishment at all costs: - The Madras, Bhuna, Passanda and Massala all tasted of BBQ sauce (a common theme amongst tripadvisor reviews) - Completely missed two dishes from the order and then refused to delivery them, less than 1 mile up the road. - When questioned about the order, the Raj Rani representative said that I had lied about my order (having only read back the order to me 20 minutes prior). - Naan bread, dry and burnt. - Chicken, a rubbery texture and watery - Terribly rude staff I wouldn’t use this Indian takeaway if it was the last one on the earth. Hiddeous.

Delivered very quickly and super hot. Sauce spicy enough but chicken extremely dry. Seems like they cook large batches of meat and put in the sauce to save time. Onion barjie very greasy. Shame price reasonable but would not order from here again due to the quality

On the advert it says 30 minutes for collection, then they added another 10 mins to it, making it 40 mins, then when I arrived I had to wait another 20 mins, so not impressed, also the food wasn't that great either and a bit expensive.

Ordered at 6.30pm. Was due at 7.25pm. At 7.40pm I got a phone call to say it was delayed it would be another 30mins. So at 8.30pm when it still wasn't here I called to be told I'm next.. my food arrived at 8.50pm where it was barely warm and the onion bhaji were so crispy and overcooked these were not edible. I have complained via just eat and we are trying for a refund as we couldn't eat out dinner. Ruined Valentine's for us!!

Food was poor, watery curry and a big amount of grissel in the keema naan. Will not be ordering again, I would actually be inclined to ask for a refund.

We were looking forward to a nice curry! It arrived 45 mins late and I ordered a tikka masala for my son which he said was disgusting it tasted like a Bbq sauce. The other 2 curries we had there wasn't much flavour to them. I won't be going back.

Curry was nice but unfortunately we ordered Black Pepper Chicken which stated a very hot dish but there was no spice at all (think they forgot the chillis) and was extremely mild.
