Very pricey food, small plastic tub for 9.99, ordered the mixed grill, was given exta chicken wings and a kebab but no lamb chops which were apparently not available on that day but we were not told that

If you like authentic curry and happen to be in Gillingham for the day, then I'd recommend a visit here. Special lunchtime deal; lamb curry with pilau rice and naan £6.50. No frills, just great spicy food, or mild if you prefer.

Use to absolutely love the food but this last order was incredibly greasy and didn't taste nice at all. I use to tell everyone about this restaurant but respectfully clearly since new ownership it's gone downhill ☹️ Full of grease, also looked and tasted nothing like their current korma. Gutted as I would only go there and highly recommended it. Now would not order again and now I have no favourite restaurant ☹️ I'd like add delivery was quick and staff very friendly.

The food was very bad. Curries were very oily with an overpowering ghee taste. Nothing tasted fresh and lacked spice. I don’t like giving bad reviews but it was really that bad.

Taste is good but in chicken karahi and lamb karahi the curry quantity is more then enough, but there is only two piece of chicken and lamb.

The food quality of the lahore karahi house is soo good as well as the staff, I’m their daily customers and i just loved their food quality and taste, Well i saw some people are spreading negative comments about the restaurant but there is nothing correct i think, because is saw that the staff is very well trained and good. Ordered on JustEat I am appalled! So our order took 2 hours to arrive.. i understand this was due to traffic.. However, our whole order was cold! We was also missing a BUTTER CHICKEN (was given an additional madras instead) and we was given ONION BHAJI instead of Pakora. I rang and politely spoke to a lady on the phone and was told they'd contact me back soon. I waited 20 mins and phoned back as I hadn't been contacted. The lady told me "boss isn't here, he will contact you soon". I then asked what would be happening as one person in our family hasn't received their meal. They then hung up on me. I tried calling back and they wouldn't answer the phone. We left a similar review on Just Eat to which they replied with: "if you check your order you didn't order chicken bajia you clearly order pakora portion ,also If you saw your order you clearly order lamb madras ,total was 45 but we gave you 10 discount and also I refund £3". £3 refund is not acceptable when a whole butter chicken was missing, pakora was missing and the whole order was cold! The order was more than £30! Yes we ordered a madras but we was given 2 madras' instead of a madras and a butter chicken. We never claimed to have ordered a "bajia" either! Really unacceptable and unamused

I visit the resturant so many times. The staff is very nice and friendly . When I was talked to the staff they are well educated and well mannered people . I appreciated their efforts . They are very nice in nature.

As I walked in here to buy food the women in the kitchen area was rolling out what looked like a Naan bread she didn't notice me as I come and I noticed as she was preparing the food she wiped her snotty nose and then carried on to touch the bread at this point I walked out & glad I didn't eat from here... of course the shop will say this is lies but I seen it for my self! disgusting hygiene with no gloves!

The food at Lahore karahi house is amazing .yes,the staff is also very friendly . They have amazing delivery service also. Very good environment. I love their food service.

Have been ordering from here for years now absolutely love thier chicken madras n pilau rice they do my madras perfectly a bit milder just as I ask never disappointed have tried other Indians but nothing beats lahores authentic taste 😋

I could not fault this restaurant they helped me when I was really in need they went out of there way when they did not have to help me at all I fully respect the staff and the food was amazing I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family in the future to the man that helped me and reached out when I was in need Thankyou so much you should be so proud of yourself and the business again Thankyou much appreciated

Went last week and this is The most dirtiest restaurant in there . So clearly service is not good . The staff they have seems like their own people . Not professional. I didn’t have much food there but what I had was Oky . Went to the toilet to wash my hands lol . The automatic soap machine was there for “show “ only . And there was a hand wash 🧴 above the toilet 😭 which was also empty . I’m just shocked Bcz they had first follow as well . So question is how do they run the restaurant with such tiny one toilet with no hand wash and with this environment also with no proper staff . Sorry but I felt I was going to vomit . Even the seats were dirty . They need to take care of their Restaurents .

Very bad food No customer service After we order they said that we are closing at sharp 22:00 so you should finish your food 22:00. Upon asking about soft drinks they said we don’t have. They charge us more then the prices which were written on menu. They are totally fake. There was one female who was shouting very loud when we ask them to give us bread she said i don’t like this type of guests. When we ask about napkins they gave us blue cleaning tissue. There food was very bad and cold . Specially chicken. There toilets were very bad in condition and we feel that we are sitting in a dhaba not in a England hotel. Very bad experience my kids were starving we were in mote park Maidstone came from London to spent some time with kids in sunny weather but unfortunately we having no choice of halal restaurant near Maidstone we decided to go to this restaurant and me my family kids left all food which were not cooked nicely very unfresh food and staff was serving like passing their time at corner of street with friends no professionalism have to remind again and again for our missing items no tissues no chutney or sauce drinks been served very late Never go again and never ever recommended to anyone

Honestly the rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced for any restaurant! The owner of the shop was very disrespectful when I called to ask how long it was going to take for my order to arrive (it passed more than an hour) he was straight up disrespectful and rude! Shouting and yelling telling me he is busy and to wait longer than I have already waited. I was a regular customer but honestly never gonna order from this restaurant ever again! (Quality of the food isn’t always great)

I have ordered the food and they have sent me meat instead of vegetarian snack. How can they sent a meat samosa instead of a vegetable samosa. I am strictly vegetarian. I vomitted thrice. It's rediculous.

Food isn’t fresh at all. ordered lamb biriyani to eat the next day along with others, and the rice was literally smelling the next day after being put in the fridge. The food was not eatable They wanted me to bring back the spoilt food in order to get a refund, very terrible service also. I don’t write reviews but this was literally horrid

I always go there despite the quick abrupt service. Price and food is good. However recently noticed portion have been reduced which is very disappointing. However nice local place to get food. If I another place opened I wouldn't go there. :(

This is a proper Lahore and Punjab style food. Not Indian or Bangoli run Indian restaurant. If you like balti food, this is not it. Food was absolutely excellent, when collected still piping hot, service polite and really friendly. Would definitely recommend it. Also quite spicy. Yummy.

They need to focus on the taste of the food as a lot of curry’s taste similar - likely using a universal pre-prepared curry base for all sort of foods. However, taste is good as compared to the other locally available options 👍

I’m a regular customer for this Restaurant and after recent change in management the food quality went really low and tasted very bad. Ordered Chikka tikka biryani today and literally throwed them in the bin. Please don’t waste your money on this shop. They really don’t care about the customers or quality of food they serving

Not at all what I expected. We usually don't get indian as a takeaway , but this time we decided to do so. I ordered the family mix grill , witch sounded like a lot of food, but when it got here it was for no more than 1 person and maybe half. Will never order from there again!!!

First time used.and very disappointed, phone service good, quick delivery. But the food was cold on arrival not up to health and safety standards. Wont be using again.

I bought lunch here today. The food was good, large portion and service from staff good. Its a bit of a tatty looking shop/ restaurant and therefore wouldn't recommend for a special meal out. I have usrd this place several times for take away and have never been disappointed 😁

Ordered takeaway from here for my partner's birthday during lockdown. We ordered lamb biryani, butter chicken, bombay aloo and a chilli paratha. The Biryani was good and quite hot, the chicken and potatoes were also excellent. Dishes arrived incredibly oily - perhaps why it all tasted so good! I wasn't keen on the paratha, not much flavour and not the texture I'd expect. Big portions, we had enough for 2 meals. I would eat here again.

One of the worst curries I've ever eaten. Was so bad I threw most of it in the bin. We ordered 2 Dansaks.. Both lacked chicken probably 4 pieces maximum in each, the curry was bland, couldn't possibly be more tasteless, it was like a reheated jar from a supermarket shelve. The onion bahjis looked more like balls of pastry, again dry and tasteless. Both breads were okay.... Even though we recieved a plain Partha instead of a tandoori Partha the breads were the only pleasant part of the meal.. I will never in a million years be ordering from this restaurant again.

The worst indian I have ever eaten, (or rather attempted to eat) The naan bread was clearly shop bought/pataks. Yet they charge £3 despite the fact a pack of 2 costs £1.98 in your local supermarket..? The korma was a strange brownish colour and far too spicy to be an actual korma. The pilau rice had a strange almost chemical smell to it so I decided not to let my children eat it/chucked it in the bin Absolutely disgusting. Please dont waste your money or risk your health eating their awful food!

Was late when ordered. By 25minutes, the food I ordered was cold, the amount of chicken in my madras was minimal, had 4 pieces of small chicken, the only 2 stars I am giving is for the pilau rice and poppadom, wont be ordering from you no more.

As a regular customer have ordered number of different types of dishes for over 2 years, every dish ordered beautifully cooked! Tasty biryani, food available both veg and non veg.

The food is horrible I ordered a chicken tikka and it was brown it’s ment to be red it looked like it’s sat there for about a month and they refused to give a refund

The Indian Cuisine food here is excellent and very tasty and also very reasonably priced. We have been here more than once and intend to continue to come back here for excellent fresh and tasty dishes. The restaurant itself is not very impressive but what matters is the food here.

The standard of BIR curry in the Medway towns has declined over the last 3-4 years. Gave this one a try...and found the Chilli Chicken Karahi to be the best I have had for a long time. It is not a "classy" restaurant, but ignor that, the taste is what counts...and this was the best I know of in the whole of Medway (Rochester, Chatham, Strood & Gillingham). I should know I cook my own BIR curries - and have over the last 3 years tried them all in this area.

Poor Service, Unfriendly Staff, Unclean premises, Do Not Go There. Should be reported to Hygeine Standards.

My review is based on the service and the food. Be very wary when ordering home delivery with this outfit. With all our 3 boys home from uni we wanted a family takeaway meal delivered . Ordered it from Lahore. Was told 45 -60 minutes delivery. Accepted that but it took over 150 minutes to arrive and ruined the meal and evening we were all so looking to! We rung the restatement 3 times to ask where it was. No apologies, rude and just using “we are busy”. That is not an excuse! The order shouldn’t have been accepted! They should think about the customer. At no point did they think of calling me to say it was delayed, it took me to call them 3 times before it was realised. When the food arrived we had to ring yet again as the 2 biryanis did not have the vegetable curry. Be wary of this as well because despite nearly all other takeaways including vegetable curry with biryanis and something that is accepted this one doesn’t. It is reasonable to accept that a curry would be included yet they do not state it isn’t. The food was at best average and not worth the 150 minutes + wait. Dreadful service with no appreciation of it. No attempt to apologise. Furthermore when one writes to officially complain it goes through a pointless inept middle outfit that the restaurant hides behind. Be aware!

Visted for dinner and as soon as i was seated i thought to myself - this seems strange and what it was! The dining room upstairs was like entering someones neglected living room! Cutlery and plates were served dirty, food was cold and bland. Will not be returning.

Food and service was terrible. The place was dirty and the staff didn’t welcome us or even sit us down at a table. The mixed grill that we ordered was flavourless and over cooked and the masala chips were fried in dirty oil and the chips turned into burnt sticks! The starter was microwaved and was very oily Never returning back . Rather drive another 20 miles to go to Lahore in Commercial road

Food was extremely good - rich, authentic and well-spiced. Definitely a cut above the normal curry house experience. We ate in the room upstairs. If you want a 'fine dining' experience this is NOT the place for you. There are no airs and graces with the service. However, the service was prompt and the place is BYOB. The bill was also quite reasonable.

I have ordered some food turned out in 1 and half hour and I had to call them twice, guess what restaurant is 5 minutes walk from me.

Ordered a lamb roll with nan. Covered it in mint and chilli sauce and it tasted good, will probably buy again soon
