My wife and I had been shopping in the town early searching for a carpet but could not decide on one, so we went into the swan for a late breakfast. We have only used the cafe a couple of times before many years ago. The cafe had a new lick of paint and was looking good. They have a good choice of what you would expect on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable. I had chosen the full English and my wife chose the eggs on toast with a sausage as an extra. We both enjoyed the food and they gave good portions so were very happy.. The waitress (Rachael) gave excellent service, so we shall use this establishment again in the future.

We visited Faversham and while there called in at the former public house The Swan, which is now a fantastic cafe. We were greeted and seated by a young waitress who had a big smile which made us feel really welcome. The cafe was half full and has a great feel the menu was traditional plenty to choose from and very good prices, and the portion sizes are big enough for those with large appetite We had the all day breakfast and roast dinner both were beautifully cooked well presented along with a coffee it went down well. Highly recommend

Food was great . Just as we asked. Hot and service was quick. Managed to park on a road nearby as it was Sunday. When we entered the shop it was empty. Basic furniture but clean and warm . We didn't get a friendly welcome. I felt ignored. Such a shame because the food and coffee was good. A little expensive.

We were walking around Faversham looking for certain places we need to visit later on in the year. We walked past the Sun Cafe and decided on our way back to call in and eat . We both ordered the roast chicken meal, when it came out the plate was full with roast potatoes and three other vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding with gravy . The food for £7:70 was ok but the chicken was dry as it had been precooked then heated up . The cafe was very clean and the toilets were good too, great value for the price payed .

Have eaten in other cafes around town and this does not really hit the spot. Staff did not appear overly happy in their work and the food and drink (breakfast & Coffee) were not quite up to the other places in town - still OK but may need to up their game on the quality of the products used in the breakfasts and they way they are cooked and presented.

As it was raining so hard on our visit to Faversham we popped in here for a coffee. It is very clean and was quite busy. Whilst there we looked at the menu there are quite a of breakfast variations, the pictures all looked nice, as it was a Sunday there was roast beef, chicken and lamb with roast potatoes and 3 veg to choose from. Just popped in for a drink with my son whilst waiting for an appointment and was surprised to find a very nice place with a good variety of food. Friendly staff that serve you at the table, all the food people were eating looked very good and was freshly prepared. We had a baguette with bacon and egg. The tea and scones is fun, the scone is cut in half, jam is put in the middle and cream is sprayed round the edge - think jammy dodger. The scone was fresh and there was plenty of jam, for only £2.50 with a cup of tea, we were very happy.

We have used this cafe many times and have noticed the standards drop so drastically that we no longer will use this cafe. It started with our orders turning up wrong, a sausage sarnie turning up as a bacon sarnie, white coffee turns into a cup of tea, beans on breakfast turns into tomatoes. Then when us as a couple kept being asked to move from a table for four to a table for two this is after we had been served our food and drinks and the reason they wanted us to move was they might get busy and need the table for four for four customers. Well this was the last straw and we got up walked out and have never been back. The owners of The swan cafe need to learn to how to treat there customers.

This centrally-located cafe oozes old time and its exterior is pleasing on the eye. Its interior of wooden floors and colour-coordinated walls (brown, magnolia and red) is rather smart too. There are plenty of 2 and 4-seater tables which are spaced out well. There is waitress service and even some signs requesting that you do NOT bring your empties back to the counter!!! There are laminated menus on each tables and one in the front window which should be applauded, although the front window could do with a de-clutter due to the amount of adverts in it! As for the meal, a baked potato and salad, .....well, it was quickly served, smartly presented, very tasty and keenly priced. The cafe comes recommended.

Having missed the Seasalter bus we decided to have an early lunch in Faversham. It's a cafe converted from a pub that was notorious and finally shut down. The café is much nicer! The menu is typical café fair - heavy on chip based meals and fried breakfasts, but if you're wanting good value traditional café food it's a good choice. Prices are extremely reasonable, and portions large. I had a veggie burger and chips, my wife has an omelette and chips. The veggie burger was your standard frozen special in a bun - perfectly adequate, and the chips were good. My wife's omelette was massive, again with good chips, although I think the tinned rather than frozen peas came as a bit of a surprise. Staff were friendly, service was quick. I'd rather they had the local radio turned down a little, but it's a minor complaint. If you're after cheap basic food and friendly fast service then it's a good choice. Don't go expecting anything fancy, it's an old fashioned café, but a good example of it's type.

The swan is a converted pub and serves meals throughout the day. It is busy and you will often have to wait a few minutes for a table on a Saturday. There is a good range of breakfasts that are good value with good service from helpful staff. The reason for only giving it a ' very good' is that eggs are often over done and the bread is standard sliced loaf. I'm not complained because the price is good and service quick.

If you fancy a bog standard, microwaved/pre-packed processed meal, it's fine. When you're incredibly hungover, for instance, it's perfect. It's not over stimulating and it's quick. There are a million and one of these generic cafs. However, the staff in there are either thick or just heartless. I was not actually there at the time, but my friend who works as a carer for those with learning disabilities decided to take him out for lunch. Though the customers were not bothered at all about what the person was doing, the staff asked him to leave before they could order because he was noisy. This is disgusting, selfish and inconsiderate. Clearly their 'business' is more important than a man's lunch on a day out. I haven't been in since I heard about it.

Long way from home we took a chance on Sunday Lunch here, and we felt extremely lucky that it absolutely came up trumps. Our family guests, who only live ten miles away hadn’t even heard of it, but they too were very impressed. Lovely, helpful, enthusiastic young team added to our enjoyment of the food. Can be thoroughly recommended. Prawn and avacadoes served with homemade sourdough toast sounds predictable but was far better. Tender pink roast sirloin with excellent Yorkshire pudding (and that from a long standing Yorkshire lady). Tasty home made lemon tart. Good selection of wine which was as reasonably priced as the lunch. Time to treat the family to a Sunday Lunch!

We regularly order from here, and don’t tend to go anywhere else for a kebab as we usually enjoy the food. However our most recent order was delivered cold, and had an item missing that was ordered (understandably mistakes happen)! The problem was more when I called to say that the kebab was cold, I was met with quite a rude tone from the cook who I could over hear in the background explaining it away and seeming reluctant to send another one out. Whilst another one did get sent out in the end, and this time it came hot, the experience over the phone was quite disappointing and makes us reluctant to want to order from here again based on the level of customer service received.

We was quite taken back by the attitude of the (what I assumed was the manager)it was like I was an inconvenience to her actually being there.Food was luke warm at best and 95% sure was precooked and reheated in microwave ,overall very disappointing experience made worse by the attitude of staff (not the Irish hospitality I have grown to be accustomed to).
