Scott looked after us this afternoon. Very friendly helpful and knowledgeable.a relaxing afternoon.

We were staying on the local caravan park and came for a walk. Was happy to see that the pub was dog friendly so we stopped and had a drink. The bar staff were welcoming.

Lovely immaculate place with great staff. The Gaffa has allowed a Veterans Breakfast Club to take place every Friday morning between 10 and midday.

Spent an evening in there with friends , staff were nice and dog friendly so yeah twas a bit quiet but it was a Wednesday so would try again a weekend to watch a band.

Nice, welcoming and friendly local offering a pizza & burger menu, karaoke on Fridays and live music on Saturdays. Only slight complaint is that we found the "background" music for a Sunday afternoon a bit on the loud side.

Amazing pub first time there and they made myself welcome thank you from burrswood nursing home on newton Street plenty more visitor soon xx

Superb public drinking facility. Watched a band there the other weekend called new identity they where absolutely superb. The whole place was buzzing with their music and entertainment. Cant wait to watch them there again.

This pub is closed at the moment. It has tended to open and close regularly over the past couple of years

Had a great Xmas eve in the sundial was the busiest pub in 7 I visited on the outskirts of bury centre that night... Bar staff were rushed off their feet but kept it together as a team... Great pints of THRICE IS NICE & A VERY GOOD ELF on draught very well kept too.. 😀

Only Ok. Not currently serving food. Had a bad pint on one occasion. Can be noisy and boisterous at weekends.

Recentley went to this pub as not been for a long time... Staff really nice... Atmosphere lovely.... Beer Good Standard!.... What was Dissapointing was as we sat outside in the Beer Garden... There was lots of Dog Pooh.... Yuk. Not recommended Im Afraid.... NEXT

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in this eloquent pub with friendly and helpful bar staff. Felt at ease , relaxing in comfortable chairs chatting with friends.

Went for breakfast and it was great. Will be going back for the burgers as they look mint! A real treat in an area where we are short of food joints without going to bury.

El Sundial es un pub local y los domingos es incluso mejor ya que abre para el desayuno a las 9:30. No hay mejor lugar para leer el periódico y tener un descaso inglés completo. El menú normal tiene algunas hamburguesas stonking en ella junto con los típicos pub clásicos.

A local pub with friendly staff and customers. It serves changing selections of beers and ales. Food excellent and well priced. I especially love the new burger menu.

Good local pub , only had breakfast here so can't comment on lunch time meals , but breakfast is served nice & hot with tea& toast , just what's needed after you've spent the night at one of the pubs theme nights , always good acts on ,always have excellent time . All staff friendly...

Sunday Breakfast is popular and very good value for money as the price includes toast and a drink. Staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble.

So lucky to have the sundial as our local. Very friendly atmosphere, entertainment on Saturdays first class. New Years Eve always fab. Food is good quality and good value.

Fab atmosphere. Karaoke on Friday nights is great. Everyone just has a go and generally has a good time. Home cooked food is delicious. Staff explained theres a wait but they cook from fresh. would recommend the pie!! Lovely and can't wait to go again. All in all great food great atmosphere and a good night :)

Roast beef dinners all round for me my Mrs and the kids on Sunday highchair provided for my 14 month old little monkey ordered the Sundial combo to start which I highly recommend especially when you have fussy kids then onto the mains which were excellent 4 cask beers on to my delight and sampled all 4 in fact squeezed another lancaster bomber in too!!! Mrs was driving since this pub has re opened and refurbished it is the best pub in this area clean tidy and warm atmosphere I highly recommend.

Standard grubby pub, locals leave a little to be desired, beer kept well, haven't tried the food but looked ok on coming out, if you want cheap no frills drinks this is probably the place for you

Had a meal here with oh and kids. Wasn't too busy was around 5 ish and had a few working people in there all friendly and polite. Food order was taken quickly and came not long after. I would recommend the hot and spicy burger it was just right not too hot for me and they served with homemade chips which where the best. Oh had jacket potato with chilli and tuna he said it was really nice. Great atmosphere present peope we will be back soon

Have recently moved close to this pub and gave the food a try a few weeks back, since then we eat here at least once a week, finding it hard to stray away from our favourites the home made cheese and onion pie, and the steak and ale pie, both served with home cut thick chips fried in dripping that gives them the best taste! we have been in recently for the Tuesday night quiz, that seems to be popular, had a great laugh and the table next to us won £200 on play your cards right! The landlords and staff are very friendly, great selection of ales, amazing home cooked food and a warm atmosphere, what more could you want from a local??? ThanksNick and Leanne

Five of us called in here on Sunday for lunch. There is a good choice on the menu and the hotel has had a recent refurbishment so it is really nice inside.The landlady is very welcoming and friendly and also really helpful; she assisted us to get a suitable table and moved chairs to accommodate the wheelchair member of our party.The soups and main courses were excellent, tasty, cooked just right and nicely presented. The portions are generous and we all enjoyed what we had (we all ordered different meals).I only have one thing to criticise and that's regarding desserts - if it wasn't for that I'd give it an excellent rating instead of a very good one. The dessert menu is rather limited with a choice of 2 cheesecakes and several flavours of ice cream. I ordered fruit cheesecake and two of our party ordered ice creams. The ice creams arrived and were eaten and I was still waiting for my cheesecake. Twenty minutes later (it must have been half an hour in total that I waited for it and the pub was not busy) we asked where it was and were told it was being plated up now! It arrived soon after and looked very nice but part of it was warm and part semi-frozen and it was not very tasty.However, I wouldn't like anyone to be put off visiting as this may be a one-off glitch and the other food we had was fabulous so I definitely recommend it and would certainly go again.
