Visited 8th June ‘24, 11.30am approx. Staff were surly and rude when not completely stoic. Wraps were under filled. Ordered 2 identical chicken and bacon Caesar wraps, one barely had any meat or salad. When asked to add more, they offered to charge for double meat. Toilet was filthy and emitted a rancid stench. This subway is repulsive, the staff were dreadful, the food was below standard. Go literally anywhere else.

Had voucher for in store but refused had to pay full amount ..beware of flyers

From the outside this place looks clean and modern but on the inside it is a tip. There is food all over the floors and table with staff doing nothing about it. The food was dry and gave me food poisoning. Staff here don’t care about customer service and are completely unbothered about their job. Toilets inside are filthy and smell awful. This subway is not a place I suggest for eating at.

Way over priced for a sandwich. Can't even have what you want as one is forced to order from their menu. The poor staff look seriously peeved, who can blame them!

Just been stood at the counter for 5 mins, no one there to serve. So just walked out again. Won't be back

Don't go to this subway as my partner has got food poisoning on the 25th jully 2023 .... and that was from the breakfast sandwich... either there hygiene is bad or there food isn't fresh... they need to be inspected or staff need better training and not put out the same food from day before... never had a issue till the other day they have gone down hill ....

The customer service is rubbish they are slow like a turtle and they just barely talk English not to say that they are rude and swearing customers which it happened to me also the middle finger

No nice welcoming, over-charged us, got the wrong bread. We’re significantly rude upon our complaint about the prices. Terrible Service.

Unfortunately the staff are pure jobsworth. I have been out on my bicycle, the shop was almost empty. Yet the staff decided I couldn't bring my bike into the shop. If I leave it outside then it gets stolen. Thanks subway. Customer service goes along way. Unfortunately your staff have let you down. So anyone else who is looking for something to eat, try the co-op next door

As usual this restaurant is for the people who says "subs a substancial part of the day".

The choice you get is decent but needs more wholegrain loaves. You can pile up the salad to make a good meal. Young staff serving well even when it's customers are gobby chavs. Seating is cheap and looks it.

I made an order today and it was completely wrong we order over 35 pounds worth of food and we didn’t even half of the items we ordered on Uber and am very disappointed that even my sandwich I was made was wrong and my other half has diabetes never ordering again for you and I recommend others don’t either.

After a very disappointing time at the Shirley Subway franchise I came here. Far better customer service, allowed me to order what I wanted without quibbling over the details. Quick and efficient, even answering what I now realise was a dumb question, with a smile. Shirley could learn a lot from this branch!

Just the same as most high traffic subway "restaurants". Unfortunately it is a business which can be incredibly tasty and great value for money, unfortunately when they are positioned outside of a busy train station they tend to massively slide in quality. The staff in this particular restaurant were rude, unable to count change correctly and unable to remember 2 sandwiches correctly. 2/5 Would not recommend

I normally really enjoy Subway's food, at any other branch that is. My sandwich was made with the same ingredients I normally choose but it was somewhat tasteless. There was also about 3 or 4 seemingly drunk teenagers who kept running in and out, sometimes to talk to the (only) staff member present then leaving and being extremely loud as well as keeping the door open for extended periods of time, with the storm going on lately, it's really not ideal. The only member of staff present at that time was talking very quietly when taking orders, I had to ask them to repeat several times as I could not hear them and this wasn't because of the yelling teenagers as that time. That staff member was also completely indifferent (or seriously looked like it) to those teenagers very clearly disturbing the customers, they also didn't buy any food, so it's not like they had any reason to be coming in and out of the Subway, they were just running around shouting and laughing loudly. One of them even sat on the counter where you pay, right next to where the food is prepared and seemingly not told off but staff. I ate there because it's next to the train station and so, very convenient but I definitely won't be back there.

Nice staff, decoration needs updateing

Subway is always good everywhere in the world. This one is nothing different. Great solution for eat&go option. It cant be bad when you choose the ingredients for your sandwich init?

Even though the wrap tasted nice enough, the way it was made was sooo badly done that it was really difficult to eat.

Good as all subways are but staff failed to tell me I had to pay extra for pepperoni and it was not included it the deal which I told them I wanted to to before they start the sandwich

Full of kids messing around, staff had no control, more like a youth centre than a sandwich shop. The homeless use it if it's cold outside and take up all the seating

I got asked for spair change 4 time while trying to enjoy my food Staff were fine with this

Online and on the window says that the place it s closing at 1am and staff is asking us to leave at 12. Please at least change the timing on the window and online cause i m sure i m not the only customer complaining about this

Lovely options with great variety

It was a little busy when we joined the line but it soon went down, ordered the new vegan wrap, bmt and a kids meal. All was very nice.

Good good and nice and quiet. Be careful of the "homeless" coming in and asking for money though...

Toilet is very disaster. Staff ok. Food fresh, no problem.

Got food poisoning never going again

The 2 staff working at 3:10 on monday the 8th of april where rude,unhelpful and and uncaring i was served a sub where the meat was completely cold,mushy and disgusting the service was slow with only 2 other people in the que it took me and my partner 10 minutes before we where served 2 disgusting subs when we wheb to sit down we where horrified with the state of the seeting in the store it was dirty and filthy to the point where it looked like it had not been cleaned in days

The bathroom was horrific how any customer could be expected to hold their breathe long enough to use this facility completely unhygienic

The toilet is absolutely disgusting, smelly and poo over toilet bowl, then told staff and she had been wiping tables then went in toilet to clean with no gloves on, then carried on cleaning tables 😕oh and then served food yuck!

Poor service. We waited 25 mins in the queue. Nearly missed our train. The other subway is much better.

I got nail in my sub on 17 feb 19 around 2:47 pm. They charge me and its very worst service provided by them. I called many time regarding this issue they not reply. I have pictures and even they can check in cctv as well.

Wish I could give a minus on this review. The first problem was there was not a ramp at the entrance for wheelchair users. Staff were not concerned about this and just shrugged their shoulders when asked about it and never offered any help nor assistance. The food was awful tbh, the bread was soggy and it didn't matter what fillings you had they were all the same, the napkin it was wrapped in was stuck onto the roll as it was unwrapped where the bread was soggy. The portion control was disgusting as we asked for some extra cheese when we seen the few flakes they were putting into the rolls only to be charged for it at the till. The man that served us never changed his gloves after serving the previous customer so unsure what was touched by him so not impressed by the hygiene. I will never use this shop again.

Took my boy's here before catching the bus home... They say you learn from your mistakes and I won't be spending money here again, real stingy with the fillings and my Son's Chicken and Bacon footlong was real hollow. I asked for more Chicken and he stuck an extra cube in lmao, feel ripped off.

Got back from my weekly commute looking forward to my late night sub when low and behold they’ve shut for “late night cleaning day”. Not being funny but who closes their branch on a Friday night next to a train station in a city center 15minutes before closing?? Personally I think the staff wanted and an early night....

Stingy with the filling and sauce now tasted nasty

Staff are friendly efficient polite helpful. Food and drink are first class. Premises clan and tidy.

New employees need to sit a food hygiene course. But they don't. Subway should not hold a 5 star rating.

Have it your way ...... or not . Nothing goes your way at this subway . Slowest worst service from any subway I have been to . Every time I go to this subway I have a new story to tell . Would not recommend this subway at all .

My sub was good, although the bread was a little on the dry side. Fast and friendly staff, and the price was right! Clean location. It was slow when we got there, but it got busy quick, but nobody seemed to have to wait too long.

Big fan of Subway in general. This store in particular is good. Nice customer service, decent prices and the quality of subs is really good.

Went in to order food to have attitude from one of the workers then the staff memeber was rude to my friend being rude and then shouted rudely cookie or crisps with attitude wouldn’t recommend think they need to be taught manners. Rude rude rude zero stars.

Just had the most uninspiring visit to this forgettable establishment. Today we had the displeasure of having a quick snack here. The two people behind the counter couldn’t have been any less interested in serving anyone . The tables and floor were dirty and looked grubby. Our food was not to the normal good standard. You could see through the coffee it was that weak and the hot chocolate was lumpy and had no taste. It’s not hard to get it wrong is it people, you only have to press a button!

Awful customer service and interaction

Went in for breakfast. Unable to serve coffee as the machine has been broke for almost a week. You only get half an omelette and one item from the salad bar in the egg and cheese breakfast roll. The member of staff barked at me to "Hurry up and choose" when I was making my mind up. Best avoided.

If you want the worst customer service in the world and a service with no smile, and servers who don't listen to you and have no manners then this is the place to go. We were paying for 2 subs and crisps and drinks and a cookie and we were told we couldn't do that.... we were paying separately so it was 2 meals. Was also not apologised to for having no £5 notes was just bunged change at. It want even busy so you'd think they'd be more attentive but no. Absolutely shocking.

It was my friends birthday. The people serving us seemed very tired and unmotivated with their shift which I understand. However, they were also very friendly and sociable. The restaurant itself was pretty messy but the toilets were actually surprisingly clean. Overall a fairly pleasant experience!

Just grabbed a footlong and it tasted fine... pretty much standard for a Subway. I always avoid chicken, as an aside, as too many people have experienced stomach ailments with a chicken Subway being the common element. Shout out to the staff member working the graveyard shift that Sunday though. No one else in sight, he juggled half a dozen customers and the sandwiches all looked fine, and he could hold a conversation too.

Had the same Subway I have in every other Subway. No soap or toilet paper in the bathroom, but a food server who clearly took a lot of pride in making sandwiches fast and being very friendly. So overall a pretty typical Subway experience. Which, so long as there are Meatballs Marinara, is fine by me.

I love Subway sandwiches....I am on a special 4 days training in Southampton so around 8 am I would like to have a sandwich before we start. Today...just now a Lady who us on shift using a sae gloves to get your sib ready...than going to the till touching a till a money and with a same gloves she is putting a salad on the sub......I just could not believe this!!!!! She just doing it right now with every costumer!!!!Se served 4 people with a same gloves on food...money..foo.... I am just sitting here and I would like to report it to Management! She did not give a receipt to me also not others either so I can not complate my survey!

If we hadn't been caught in a hailstorm, we wouldn't have gone in here. Big area with about 4 tables, all empty. Had to call 'Anyone there?' for a staff member to come from the back area. Bits of salad mixed up on the counter between food containers - she just swept them back into the food. Ugh! Had to ask her to put on fresh gloves having handled someone's money. Expensive for what you get. Toilet door didn't lock, toilet was disgusting, hand dryer doesn't work. Altogether an unpleasant experience. Needs significant work done to improve the venue and the food.

This is your average Subway. The staff look like they have no interest in being there and they are tight with the portions they put in the subs. There is often one person behind the desk, even when it's busy. Save your money and get something else.
