Subway in Southampton

I eat subway for many years, this has to be the smallest portions ever! Steak and cheese and hash one scoop of meat, this was less than half a scoop! The lady said that's a full scoop, even though I could see her making it??!!! Although I like subway, I won't go to the Southampton one again

Used to be a great subway, perhaps a new manager as last couple of times very limited staff and prioritising online orders over physical customers coming in for ‘fast food’, i recommend visiting another subway in the city instead

some things missing and one whole sandwich became cold

Visited 8th June ‘24, 11.30am approx. Staff were surly and rude when not completely stoic. Wraps were under filled. Ordered 2 identical chicken and bacon Caesar wraps, one barely had any meat or salad. When asked to add more, they offered to charge for double meat. Toilet was filthy and emitted a rancid stench. This subway is repulsive, the staff were dreadful, the food was below standard. Go literally anywhere else.

Had voucher for in store but refused had to pay full amount ..beware of flyers

From the outside this place looks clean and modern but on the inside it is a tip. There is food all over the floors and table with staff doing nothing about it. The food was dry and gave me food poisoning. Staff here don’t care about customer service and are completely unbothered about their job. Toilets inside are filthy and smell awful. This subway is not a place I suggest for eating at.

Not happy with food was stale and not fresh. Hardly any sauce in the subs.

Way over priced for a sandwich. Can't even have what you want as one is forced to order from their menu. The poor staff look seriously peeved, who can blame them!

Just been stood at the counter for 5 mins, no one there to serve. So just walked out again. Won't be back

Don't go to this subway as my partner has got food poisoning on the 25th jully 2023 .... and that was from the breakfast sandwich... either there hygiene is bad or there food isn't fresh... they need to be inspected or staff need better training and not put out the same food from day before... never had a issue till the other day they have gone down hill ....

Delivery time changed 4 times twice before it left the store and twice more when the delivery driver went in the opposite direction to me so when he got to me the food was stone cold and just eat wouldn’t let me cancel without paying the full amount even though the order was not even being processed just eat are a disgrace

Great service, hot food, speedy delivery. Personally I didn't like the poached eggs in the breakfast sub, not sure they work with the sandwich, I think sliced hard boiled egg would be better. Everything else was good though 👍

The customer service is rubbish they are slow like a turtle and they just barely talk English not to say that they are rude and swearing customers which it happened to me also the middle finger

This is a joke for a £ 15 sandwich that's a joke. If I would get Cis like that in the restaurant, it would be a different kind of talk. Embarrassment

meant to be toasted subs.. arrived stone cold.. the restaurant claimed to remake them as they had prepared them 2 hours earlier.. this was not the case. they were also soggy. took 12 attempts to get through to the restaurant by phone. WORST SERVICE EVER RECIEVED FOR A FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE

Unfortunately the staff are pure jobsworth. I have been out on my bicycle, the shop was almost empty. Yet the staff decided I couldn't bring my bike into the shop. If I leave it outside then it gets stolen. Thanks subway. Customer service goes along way. Unfortunately your staff have let you down. So anyone else who is looking for something to eat, try the co-op next door

Delivery driver didn’t show up, listed food as delivered. Saw the driver in the distance but didn’t come anywhere near the pickup point

Subs were cold and one sub had the wrong bread

As usual this restaurant is for the people who says "subs a substancial part of the day".

The choice you get is decent but needs more wholegrain loaves. You can pile up the salad to make a good meal. Young staff serving well even when it's customers are gobby chavs. Seating is cheap and looks it.

One dips missing in chips and the second dips nearly empty! Two fries and finish! which stingy filled it?

Horrible, food was cold. Paid for 1.5l 7up and doritos that weren't delivered. Never again

I ordered cheese and onion crisps and got quavers and ready salted(which I can't eat) and was not told at all, tried to find a way to contact them yet no info, very unhappy

Absolutely ignored my order of cold tiger bread with tuna and cucumber and sent me hot tiger bread with tuna cucumber and melted cheese... Absolutely disgusting and will not order from here again

Forgot any cheese even though I added extra. "Toasted" for about 10 seconds. Hash browns were awful.

I made an order today and it was completely wrong we order over 35 pounds worth of food and we didn’t even half of the items we ordered on Uber and am very disappointed that even my sandwich I was made was wrong and my other half has diabetes never ordering again for you and I recommend others don’t either.

Unfortunately ordered a salad and it came with out the topping I had paid for. Everything else I ordered was correct but poorly packaged ( hash browns had fallen out bad, sandwich had spilt insides out. Just generally disappointing

Ordered for my partner who is at the office and went to the completely wrong place half a mile up the road and didn't listen to me when I said he was in the wrong place...partner had to walk down to the place he was waiting.

After a very disappointing time at the Shirley Subway franchise I came here. Far better customer service, allowed me to order what I wanted without quibbling over the details. Quick and efficient, even answering what I now realise was a dumb question, with a smile. Shirley could learn a lot from this branch!

Just the same as most high traffic subway "restaurants". Unfortunately it is a business which can be incredibly tasty and great value for money, unfortunately when they are positioned outside of a busy train station they tend to massively slide in quality. The staff in this particular restaurant were rude, unable to count change correctly and unable to remember 2 sandwiches correctly. 2/5 Would not recommend

I normally really enjoy Subway's food, at any other branch that is. My sandwich was made with the same ingredients I normally choose but it was somewhat tasteless. There was also about 3 or 4 seemingly drunk teenagers who kept running in and out, sometimes to talk to the (only) staff member present then leaving and being extremely loud as well as keeping the door open for extended periods of time, with the storm going on lately, it's really not ideal. The only member of staff present at that time was talking very quietly when taking orders, I had to ask them to repeat several times as I could not hear them and this wasn't because of the yelling teenagers as that time. That staff member was also completely indifferent (or seriously looked like it) to those teenagers very clearly disturbing the customers, they also didn't buy any food, so it's not like they had any reason to be coming in and out of the Subway, they were just running around shouting and laughing loudly. One of them even sat on the counter where you pay, right next to where the food is prepared and seemingly not told off but staff. I ate there because it's next to the train station and so, very convenient but I definitely won't be back there.

Unbelievably fast service and delivery, excellent choices of healthy salad bowls available and prices that suit anyone's pocket. You can't beat value and quality like this. Love it!! :D

First time ordered from here. Food quality is exceptional! Delivered food early by 10 mins. Having said that, food was cold though!

Subway is always good everywhere in the world. This one is nothing different. Great solution for eat&go option. It cant be bad when you choose the ingredients for your sandwich init?

Even though the wrap tasted nice enough, the way it was made was sooo badly done that it was really difficult to eat.

Poor experience using just eat for the first time. Ordered 2 hours prior to deliver for 1:15, couldn’t even assign a driver after waiting for 1 hour I gave up and picked the food up myself. Numerous phone calls were made but no answer from anyone. I’m very disappointed with Just Eat. Food was good

Good as all subways are but staff failed to tell me I had to pay extra for pepperoni and it was not included it the deal which I told them I wanted to to before they start the sandwich

Full of kids messing around, staff had no control, more like a youth centre than a sandwich shop. The homeless use it if it's cold outside and take up all the seating

I got asked for spair change 4 time while trying to enjoy my food Staff were fine with this

Online and on the window says that the place it s closing at 1am and staff is asking us to leave at 12. Please at least change the timing on the window and online cause i m sure i m not the only customer complaining about this

Who ever made my sub must have been scroodge ive never made my self a sandwich with 1 tea spoon full of tuna so wouldnt expect it in one i pay nearly 5 quid for oh well wont be using them again plus the ends of my roll were hard as rock been let down by subway

It was a little busy when we joined the line but it soon went down, ordered the new vegan wrap, bmt and a kids meal. All was very nice.

Good good and nice and quiet. Be careful of the "homeless" coming in and asking for money though...

Toilet is very disaster. Staff ok. Food fresh, no problem.

Didn't take note of our order properly. Asked for toasted and it wasn't. Also missed a cookie from one meal.

Got food poisoning never going again

The 2 staff working at 3:10 on monday the 8th of april where rude,unhelpful and and uncaring i was served a sub where the meat was completely cold,mushy and disgusting the service was slow with only 2 other people in the que it took me and my partner 10 minutes before we where served 2 disgusting subs when we wheb to sit down we where horrified with the state of the seeting in the store it was dirty and filthy to the point where it looked like it had not been cleaned in days

The bathroom was horrific how any customer could be expected to hold their breathe long enough to use this facility completely unhygienic

The toilet is absolutely disgusting, smelly and poo over toilet bowl, then told staff and she had been wiping tables then went in toilet to clean with no gloves on, then carried on cleaning tables 😕oh and then served food yuck!

Poor service. We waited 25 mins in the queue. Nearly missed our train. The other subway is much better.

I got nail in my sub on 17 feb 19 around 2:47 pm. They charge me and its very worst service provided by them. I called many time regarding this issue they not reply. I have pictures and even they can check in cctv as well.

Wish I could give a minus on this review. The first problem was there was not a ramp at the entrance for wheelchair users. Staff were not concerned about this and just shrugged their shoulders when asked about it and never offered any help nor assistance. The food was awful tbh, the bread was soggy and it didn't matter what fillings you had they were all the same, the napkin it was wrapped in was stuck onto the roll as it was unwrapped where the bread was soggy. The portion control was disgusting as we asked for some extra cheese when we seen the few flakes they were putting into the rolls only to be charged for it at the till. The man that served us never changed his gloves after serving the previous customer so unsure what was touched by him so not impressed by the hygiene. I will never use this shop again.

Took my boy's here before catching the bus home... They say you learn from your mistakes and I won't be spending money here again, real stingy with the fillings and my Son's Chicken and Bacon footlong was real hollow. I asked for more Chicken and he stuck an extra cube in lmao, feel ripped off.

Got back from my weekly commute looking forward to my late night sub when low and behold they’ve shut for “late night cleaning day”. Not being funny but who closes their branch on a Friday night next to a train station in a city center 15minutes before closing?? Personally I think the staff wanted and an early night....

Staff are friendly efficient polite helpful. Food and drink are first class. Premises clan and tidy.
