Usual service experience, ok for a quick stop and toilet break, food and drink as usual vastly overpriced. All services much ghe same

My boyfriend and I ordered McDonald’s from this services. One of the workers ended up dropping our wrap (no big deal). The manager made him come out infront of the whole extremely busy waiting area and apologise which was followed by her telling him to apologise for making him Waite. I can’t even imagine how embarrassing this young man would’ve been. Appalling behaviour.

The Leon outlet was fine but the BP fuel prices were absolutely ridiculous. Consequently we were the only car at 2 pm at the fuel station.

I’m speechless….. I stopped at the petrol station to use the facilities. What a sxxt hole!!! The toilet facility’s are absolutely appalling and unhygienic. Flush handle flopping about, no hand soap, I had to use the men’s toilet (I’m male just for the record l) because the disabled toilet has no hand soap. The toilet cubicle in the men’s was broken down I had to use the disabled toilet. Sort it out…. It’s basic hygiene and with what you’re charging for fuel it should be a million times better. This petrol station has not changed for as long as I can remember so it’s high time the owners put their hands in their pockets and modernised the place. It’s a grubby hole… Sort it.

Stopped at the garage to get a sandwich and use the loo. The whole place was dirty and the toilets were an absolute disgrace. Broken paper dispenser (front of dispenser missing) and no loo paper. Floor filthy. Litter outside. Asda and BP need a wake up call.

Toilets not cleaned and toilet paper in short supply. Hand blowers a bit temperamental only working sporadically.

Stop again at this service when traveling back along the M5. I can say it is a nice service service area that can get busy. The drink and food prices are high. Also avoid using the on site cash machine as it charges a fee to withdraw cash.

We called into the South bound Strentham services and saw the Fresh Food Cafe thinking it would be the better of all the other outlets. The Panini we had tasted good and was really hot however the very expensive coffee was undrinkable. If there wasn't a lo g queue when we left I would have combined about it. We threw it away in the bin. £7.30 we paid for those 2 coffes! Disgusting.

Stopped to give my Disabled and Family a comfort break and get some food following an early start to Alton Towers. Well what we were met with was Disgusting. The Whole Main Entrance was covered in Litter. The Bins were overflowing with Rubbish. We then headed for the Toilets. Well what an Absolutely disgusting state they were in. Talk about being dirty that’s an understatement. They smelt absolutely disgusting. It may my family feel sick. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Travelled up the M5 late at night after a long day including a delayed flight into Bristol airport. Desperate for a coffee and a snack so I stopped at Michaelwood just north of Bristol but the one solitary machine was out of order. The next services northbound is Gloucester but I’m not a huge fan so I continued to Strensham… getting there about 1am. And what a lovely surprise! Despite the time of day it was quite busy and McDonald’s was open … selling not only coffee but the full menu! The service area was really clean, well lit and it’s now become one of my favourite services on the UK motorway network! Well done Strensham Northbound!

Stopped to get some food and a drink half way through a 61/2 hr drive after camping in the rain, got another 2 hrs up the road and daughter realised she might have left phone at services, phoned them when we got home, someone rang us straight back and they had phone and had put it in safe, when I explained it was a 6hr round trip to collect it, they offered to post the phone and although I offered to pay they said they couldn’t accept payment, phone was delivered signed for delivery, with a lovely photo of what I can only assume was some of the staff who posted phone 🤣. Teenage daughter very relieved to be reunited with phone and I am very thankful to not have to do 6hr drive. Communication was fantastic, staff went above and beyond to get phone back to us. Thank you so much.

Not stopped here before, so wasn't sure what to expect. The usual McDonalds and Costa, including a drive thru, should satisfy most palates, with other offerings available. Most importantly, the facilities were nice and clean, even though they must get a lot of footfall through there on a busy day. Other shops also include a Spar, which surprised us but would had been good had I not prepared a picnic lunch for us!

Fantastic - I have been looking for healthy fast food on motorway services for years (having travelled up and down the motorway network for forty years). The food was amazing - both healthy and delicious !! And it didn’t break the bank. Best coffee as well 😊. In future I’m going to try and stop at services which include Leon.

We truly wish that we'd not stopped at these services but after a detour due to an accident on M6 we were needing to stop. The place just isn't clean, food on the floor in the eateries that isn't cleaned up, just a quick wipe of the tables. I have to use the disabled toilet and if I hadn't been desperate we'd have continued on to Gloucester services. The toilet at Strensham was so bad I took pictures. Sooner or later the general lack of cleanliness at these services will affect someones health.

Don't like writing negative reviews, todays an exception. Toilets, disgusting, Costa closed, Bought coffee from Costa vending machine, also disgusting, service gro surly teenager not great.

Thursday 23rd March and we were travelling along the M5 on our way from Seaton, Devon to Bolton. We stopped at this Service Station for a pit stop and something to eat. From the outside it looked like any other Service Station, which proves never judge a book by it's cover. The interior was modern, well planned and bright, it was almost like a mini shopping Mall. There was a clothing store, Cotton Traders, a supermarket, SPAR, a newsagents/stationers, W H Smith, a phone shop, electronic games arcade and more. Including ATM, toilets and showers. There were a wide variety of Food outlets including Costa Coffee, McDonald's, Cornish Pastie Shop, Fresh Food Cafe, LEON and CHOZEN, Asian food. The circular food court area was at it's heart with the eateries around the circumference with seating in the centre. There was a large grass area to the rear, for eating outside during warmer weather. There is also a Days Inn, hotel/accommodation here, along with a BP petrol station.

After doing 400miles I decided it was time to stop and have a refresh. I was absolutely craving the sweet nectar of a Nelson Mandela of the Stella. But to my complete disgust and agony neither the petrol station or the spar/WHSmiths inside sold said liquid gold. This is a complete neglect of customer needs and requirements, how can I continue inwards with my quest?! After some time contemplating on what to do, I decided to get a McDonald’s. Upon receiving my terrible tasting fast food, I was again massively let down… not a single logo in sight on my paper bag. How will everybody know that I’m abusing my body now? So after throwing what I had just purchased in the bin, onwards I go to find my Stella. After another 10miles I have found my sweet sweet Nelson’s. I would strongly advise not going to this complete incompetence of a so called services, and wait till the next one.

A nice takeaway breakfast speedily cooked and easy to eat from a convenient package. Ideal for a quick pit stop

Do not visit! These were the pictures taken of the toilets. We initially went in for a coffee and something to eat, but changed our mind after seeing the state of the facilities.

Excellent services with clean toilets. A good variety of food outlets with Cotton Traders there as well. McDonalds our favourite.

Visited her about 6.30 on a Friday with 2 young children , female toilets were filthy, it was difficult to find one clean enough to use. And the sinks were also dirty. I understand visitors have made it dirty but needs cleaning g more frequently....

A very clean service area and seating. Table Clearance by apprently Roadchef staff is also quick and efficient. Choice of food from noodle bar, burgers, pasties/pies and a cafe style outlet with hot food fish and chips, curries and filled bagels. Costa coffees. Good value....

During this COVID-19 pandemic, service is somewhat limited, but it was still possible to get an adequate meal.

No covid hygiene rules were in place throughout the whole area apart from stickers on the floor which were totally disregarded. Toilets were just disgusting with no cleaner anywhere to be seen. Need to be reported as ignoring all government rules in place.

Bought the traditional English breakfast at £8.49. Absolute rubbish. Couldn't believe when it was given to me in a cardboard box. 1 sausage, 1 rasher bacon,, overcooked fried egg and a spoonful of beans, all of it cold and rubbish quality. Never again.

Stopped here on way back home found the services clean however not enough hand sanitiser stations. Dined inside mcdonald's they were very helpful after my brother who has autism had a meltdown because he didn't like his dessert lady came over and changed his dessert...

Strensham Northbound services are average at best, trying to cope with lots of people in a covid environment with around 20-25% who just couldn't be bothered makes it an unsafe place to stop, was clean but not well staffed, excellent sausage roll but very pricey.

First visit since the pandemic, is ok but mcdonalds is very poorly organised with surly staff, service is painfully slow, WH smith not much better with again surly staff, always had over inflated prices but the surly attitude of staff would put us off revisiting

All staff encountered were very professional, efficient and friendly. Includes Costa coffee (barista and table clearer), Food outlet (lots of choice and a great bacon bap), Cotton Traders and Spar (good choice of flowers) Will certainly call again.

Stopped here for a breakfast. Not sure how old the services is, but it appears either very new or recently refurbished?Quite an imposing building as you approach it.Spacious, clean and plenty of choice - oh and clean Loos.Has a real nice feel about the place. Never felt moved to write a review about UK services, usually so grotty. This is spotlessly clean, well laid out, helpful staff, reasonable prices and lovely food. Amazing, thankyou, keep up the good work!

A long drive ahead of us, (Plymouth to Warrington) we stopped here for a much needed refresh. Made full use of MacDonald's, Costa coffee and WH Smiths. Has everything you need here to have a much needed refresh. Toilets were clean and well kept.

Stopped for a break after driving from the west county. Clean friendly staff and lots of great choices of food & shopping outlets.

Plenty of parking spaces, free for a couple of hours, many clean toilets on site, various cafes to choose from and shops including Cornish Bakery, WH.Smith, plus many others.

Called infor a comfort break. Plenty of parking, clean toilets. Lots of eating areas, a WHS Smith's and a Spar. Easy access. Berger than average

Stopped off for a comfort break and a snack. Found the cornish bakery! Great food, piping hot. Wonderful flavours and very traditional. Perfect for a snack on the move.

We were travelling back from Cardiff to the North East and needed petrol. I appreciate that there is a premium on costs of petrol while on a motorway but this is something else! The petrol was £1.519 per litre! This is not a premium cost.... I only filled up enough to find a Tesco at Ashby de la Zouche which charged £1.239 per litre. 28p per litre more at Strensham. You have been warned. I cannot comment on the services for anything else.

Visited/popped in yesterday with my wife. Good grub good price and good service Thank you. The vibrating alarm/advisor works well. I had the breakfast very good. My wife had fish & chips very good.

Visited today for a quick toilet stop. Toilets were clean and tidy. Car park was large and ok, but not many street lights. Unclear exit, making it a difficult to find way out. A big exit sign would help.

The interior was clean with plenty of seating. It is dominated by MacDonalds, however there are several alternative food outlets. The toilets were clean. This is not a bad place to stop.

My daughter left her bag behind at the services last week. Following a quick phone call the Duty Manager and Lost Proprty located her bag and returned it to us free of charge. Amazing service - Thank you so much.

Stopping at a motorway service area, you expect a relatively quick turnaround, as we're all busy going somewhere. I made the mistake of ordering a salad from the fresh food cafe, that took 20 minutes to arrive.

Stopped off during a long journey. Toilets were all good and clean. Ordered food from one of the small booths which was good quality and cheap. Nice place in general.

We had breakfast here on 2 consecutive days. Costa coffees, a breakfast wrap and cheese toastie. All fine with a great view of the gardensWe also bought croissants at the Cornish bakery which were lovely.

Wow, this has to be THE service station to visit. No fast good takeaway franchises. Just good food and old fashion hospitality . Staff that want to serve you, everywhere spotlessly clean. Shower cubicles and mother and toddler changing rooms. Food cooked as you can see it. Lots of coffee and tea stations. Gardens outside great with a lovely big pond and waterfall and dog walking area.

Pretty good service station, relatively clean - we ate in the Cornish Bakery - my spicy chickpea pasty was lovely, and the coffee was good. A welcome pit stop on a very long and slow journey from Shepton to Manchester.

We assume the southbound side has very similar amenities as the north! There was a Spar shop, WH Smith’s, Boots, McDonalds, Costa and others. It did seem to be fairly new and airy. We had drinks in the Costa which had typically inflated prices, but the service there was efficient and friendly. Tables were cleared and cleaned....and something you don’t see very often....a lady sweeping the floor. The toilets were ok considering how busy it was.

Stopped at Strensham for a comfort break and rather than visiting the usual Costa's we went to the Cornish Kitchen. The service was good, better coffee than Costa and the cakes were wonderful.

Much improved (southbound) since last visit with the new developments. Only gripe is that they have put in new outdoor seating area but there just is not enough of it even though there is plenty of room for more, and needs some shelter from the sun - all roasting (inc the dog) this weekend AND NEEDS WATER FOR THE DOGS

Love this place good showers and lots of them. Bit expensive to park £31 a night but plenty of different places to eat at. Will definitely stay here again and the McDonald’s staff are amazing 👍👌

Called in at these services as we had called in at the southbound ones on the way there so expected these to be of like for like on the way back. Nowhere near as good even apart from the lack of a refurbishment. It just seemed gloomy and uninviting.

On Saturday the 29th of September, my wife and I visited the petrol station to fill up with fuel. My wife came back from using the toilets and told me how disgusting they were with no toilet seat (it was on the floor).

Called on the way home after a long journey just for a break. Had a coffee at Mc Donalds and used the toilets. The place was clean and tidy and service good.

Stopped off here on the way home from Devon,today.Bought a Cornish pastie at a cost of £3.90.I thought this a bit expensive but they looked nice.How wrong i was,there was 1 chunk of horrid meat inside together with uncooked potato and onion,I returned it to get my money back.The Girl on the counter said she'd have to ask the manager,What???,this was sub standard food.She kept me waiting at least 5 minutes in which time another member of the serving staff asked if he could help.I repeated my problem and he disappeared as well.he returned with a card to swipe on the till and asked me to sign for a refund.Do not buy from these people the food is awful,when i was leaving i saw a staff member wipe in front of the pasties with the same cloth he had been wiping the Coffee Machine with,YUK!!.

Negatives- toilets not great, in need of good scrub! Positives- very good McDs. Cooked to order within reasonable time. Very polite and considerate staff there.

We stopped by twice on a Friday on a day coach trip. Both times it had plenty of parking, it was clean and we had choice for food and drink. At services prices tho!

What an awful place! Queuing outside station to use toilets! When finally got there disgusting toilets filthy sinks and floors and no loo rolls. The rest of station looked dirty and ridiculously busy so left to go 20m north for a better one to eat in!

Big McDonalds with plenty of seating. Electronic ordering available. We found it very cheap. Table mounted tablets for the kids.

We visited these services with our two small children. We used the baby change facility, absolutely disgusting, the floor was wet, smelt of urine, wet toilet tissue on the floor, leaking tap, broken tiles, just disgusting and the absolutely the last place to change a nappy.

Stopped here with a caravan on the way home from the southwest to Yorkshire. Well very obviously some cars had lost their caravans as they were parked in our area as were a couple of lorries. This is ridiculous especially when the car park was only a third full. Why is this not policed by the services staff? If we parked across 3 or 4 spaces in the car park with our caravan on we would be vilified. These idiots who do this deserve a ticket!! All should know better and there is a separate park for lorries anyway.

This place is currently infested with flies and should be avoided at all costs. The Costa girl “joked “ she had already swallowed 2 flies.

No different to any other services, expensive and busy. The food in the fast food cafe was OK. Soup and a fish finger wrap.

Have just stopped for coffee. Costa as good as usual but the ladies toilets were filthy. Tried several cubicles which hadn’t been flushed or cleaned. Eventually had to use one which was badly stained and can only presume that cleansing products are not used.

Ok if you like fast food, there was a shop that sold salads etc but TBH food a bit boring, would have loved a bit more choice of some cooked food other than burgers, pastry etc

Travelling north on the M5 and found myself in need of a toilet. The toilets were reasonably clean (for a motorway service station), the lock worked on the door and someone had thoughtfully stuffed all the holes in the door with toilet paper, so privacy was not an issue.

Great services, ample parking, spacious, relaxing, Inside has superb facilities BUT... WH Smith staff are vile, rude, ignorant, and spoil your experience.. so best thing.. keep driving for another 20 mins and you will be in another services.

Returning from a few days break in Devon stopped off to refresh and refuel. As with many of these areas they tend to all blend into one. Decent enough with choices inc Costa and McDonalds. Toilet facilities all OK, BP petrol facilities.

Stopped off to buy Doughnuts in passing. Loo clean and tidy nice shops and not too busy. Small on a busy day though.

When travelling with work North I often pop on for a quick McDonalds Breakfast. Decent services that is never to busy! Will stop again!

The first food outlet you come to (The Cornish Bakery - look for the large mural of a coastal scene in Cornwall) on the right is as far as I need go now - the Cornish Pasties taste even better than they look and are very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly, polite and keen to make sure you enjoy your brief break there. The meat is of excellent quality and beautifully cooked with just the right amount of seasoning already there. An excellent place to take a break and replenish those flagging travel batteries.

Never going to be a gourmet delight but these services have some better than average food outlets and not just the usual American fast food ones. Bacon buttie from one and a pasty from another satisfied and were reasonably priced. Will stop here again.

On our way up north dropped in. Very quiet day luckily and services very quiet too. Best that way! Nice clean loos.

We stopped here last week, with just one customer holding up the attention of several staff members. There seemed no hurry to serve anyone else. The pasties and Portugese custard tarts were lovely, but it's hard to see why all the staff members are needed to serve a pasty and a cup of coffee, there does seem to be a deliberate go slow attitude, and for some reason the cappuccino cups are smaller than latte, unusually small in fact.

Stopped for a quick break. Good facilities however I didn't like the loos being upstairs. There is a Waitrose which is good if you don't want fat food. Here's also a Starbucks. If appeared clean and tidy (I didn't take too much notice).
