Stones Coffee Shop in Swale

We had a great breakfast today with good quality local produce. Always a friendly service by Tracey and the team. Love the coffee!

Service was poor from the start lady serving was rude and abrupt, asked if I could have mushroom with my meal and was told abruptly no, very expensive for what I can only describe has poor food quality and very poor service, perhaps if you deal with the general public it would be advised that this clearly isn’t this ladies best qualities. I would advise anyone wanting a decent meal at a reasonable cost to look elsewhere

The food was good, slightly overpriced but nice. The place was busy and our cups were cleared literally as soon as we had finished, felt rushed and uncomfortable. Did notice other tables had empty cups too but were left for the customers to continue to talk. Toilets for the cafe are outside and not overly clean.

Absolutely love stones for breakfast. I always choose the avacado on toast with poached eggs, and it’s the best! Top quality ingredients. I will definitely be trying more from the breakfast menu, and visiting for lunch. Always greeted by lovely waitresses who show you to the table, it’s not the cheapest place for food however the quality makes it more than worth it!

Great place made better by the staff.Poppy and Lisa were just two of the names we caught. Who knows how empty jam jars could make a customer so happy.

Well worth a visit,food is excellent all local products and prepared when you order.Very friendly and helpful staff. This is definitely the best coffee shop,in a garden centre,that we have visited. We have taken family and friends there and they loved it. We find it very good value for money,we enjoy breakfast or lunch there most days or just a coffee and cake. Their new breakfast and lunch menus are excellent.

I go here regularly. The food and staff are great. But today I was left gobsmacked that you can’t share a pot of tea, there’s enough tea for 2 people but only allowed 1 cup! We had already had 2 breakfasts and my colleague wanted another tea but we couldn’t share the pot. This has put me off coming here now.

This morning I went to stones cafe situated in stones garden centre to have breakfast My daughter and I were greeted and was escorted to the table We ordered the full English and I have to say it’s the best full English I’ve ever had fresh quality ingredients eggs how you want them cooked to perfection The staff were polite ,helpful , friendly one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had Definitely will be going again to try out an afternoon tea if it’s anything like the breakfast experience know doubt I’ll enjoy it Well done to all the girls that made my dining experience such a brilliant one 🤩

Visited with a friend on a day out to Barton’s Point Coastal Park. Was told after ordering that the meal I wanted was not available, but the staff handled it excellently and was given a free brownie for the inconvenience! The tuna sandwich I ended up with was delicious. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Lovely breakfast every time but shocking & rude service from the same waitress the last three times we’ve been there making us feel unwelcome. Everyone else is lovely and makes the experience better 😊

A great find, newly opened, well laid out with modern design. A wood burning stove for the cold days. Real coffee properly prepared and a great range of cakes. They have just started doing breakfasts but I haven´t tried so can´t comment
