Popped in yesterday on the 26th August. Ordered 2 coffees and pastries. Flat white was average, coconut latte was good. Pastries were very good. Staff weren’t very welcoming upon arrival. One of the staff was very abrupt asking us repeatedly what drinks we want before giving us a chance to tell her. Felt like they didn’t want us buying things from there. Shame as menu looks fantastic and would have liked to go back.

Lovely tapas meal with friendly attentive service without being over powering. Each selection was served hot and was tasty A good rival to anything we have has in Europe. The bottle of Malbec was lovely. Followed by excellent coffee and carrot cake. Quiete venue which felt special. Highly recommend

Excellent breakfast, Greek eggs and Eggs Royale served with pink peppercorns. Friendly and efficient service. Followed by very good coffee. If you are in Kent just turn left and go to Faversham. Treat yourself to quality.

Great food, vibe, service and wine. Music was at a good volume for conversation and the staff were all extremely quick and polite. Prices were very fair.

I sat outside at the front waiting for someone to come and serve me. After 20 mins nobody had come so I left

This place is serving the best rum & raisin chocolate brownie I’ve ever eaten! 😋 This cake is so good it’s worth traveling from central London for a slice! 😋 The coffee is excellent too ❤️ we will be back!

Our usual cafe was closed so we thought we would give this one a try. Neither of us usually go for Tapas so we were a bit disappointed to see that the menu is predominantly tapas. We needn't have worried - I had the meat balls (can't remember the Spanish name) and my wife had creamed feta with salad. Both were excellent and good value. This is our new go-to cafe in Faversham.

Without a doubt the best breakfast you will eat anywhere. You will have to be patient as it usually takes upto half an hour plus to get your food . The interior is small but very well laid out. I would recommend that you book as it gets packed.

It is a fantastic place, had some tapas and the rose lemonade was delicious. The host was friendly and professional. Would recommend.

I have a love hate relationship with this cafe, I like the location and the tea is nice but I went in today after having not been in since last summer (when the chef was just shouting at staff) I ordered a scone which was dry and cold, I then ordered 3 coffees and a tea no sooner had we finished the owner was over asking us to leave as it was busy. We left and there wasn’t anyone waiting. I really won’t bother going in again they’re so abrupt, service is hit and miss ( I once waited an hour for a breakfast) and the atmosphere gives the impression that you’re underfoot. The food on this occasion was poor and the tea was also weak.

Intended to have breakfast but waited at the counter several minutes being ignored so only had coffee. Second visit to the place and service is still grumpy. Won't go back.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with generous portioned tapas in the centre of Faversham. Will definitely go back. Lovely cocktails too!

On the few times we've been to Jittermugs, the service and food have been spot on 🙂 and we thank you for it. Gary and Tara.

What a find! A proper little gem. Fantastic food, great service & all at a reasonable price. Just a shame it was so quiet, a place like this should be packed on a Saturday night!

Lovely relaxed place for breakfast. All freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Great choice as well.

Average coffee. We felt bit unwelcoming but to each their own. Though we won't be coming here again.

Nice food and mostly good service depending who's on but their sign outside says open at 8 and each time I've tried to go in they are always closed or say I've arrived too early when it's 10 past or even half past.

Second visit here and it was as good as last time. Came for just the tapas this time. Excellent value for money, lovely food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend giving Jittermugs a try.

Exceptional food. Healthy, tasty and moreish tapas selection. What's more, there is a very clean kitchen! Also, an incredibly modest chef in the kitchen who doesn't realise how tasty her food is! Scones were also delicious. We will be back. The best lunch in Faversham by several miles!

Went in and was met with an abrupt rude server, when we asked to sit down he said thats fine, he’ll clear the table for us. When we went to sit down he came over and made a rude remark “or just sit down before I’ve finished cleaning” even though the table was clear. This left us feeling very uncomfortable and even though he said he’d bring menus over to us at the start, he just started serving other customers that had just come in and ignored us. We left after 5 minutes because the whole situation and attitude was uncalled for and unnecessary, and it was very awkward. If you’re not a people person don’t be waiter at a restaurant.

Very cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and gorgeous cakes, pastries and tapas. I love this place. Nice log fire in the winter too! And a little outside seating area out the back in the summer. Coffee and hot chocolate are good, and it's licensed if you fancy a cocktail or a beer! This place has saved my sanity quite a few times.....

Lovely little coffee shop with friendly staff and really nice tasty coffee. An open fire keeps it really cosy in winter, and dog friendly too.

A group of us met here for a leaving do, there were 16 of us and we took over the whole restaurant. Everyone had a great time and we were served the most delicious tapas at such a reasonable price. Everything was just perfect and nice and informal.

Could be such a lovely place but I’ve tried 3 times now and not got a great welcome or service. Rude and quite clearly above serving people.

Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Good coffee. Range of dairy free milks. Range of gluten free options. Highly recommend the vegan flapjack and the gluten free brownie. Great breakfasts too. (And they will do the breakfast sandwiches to go.)

Staff are friendly, welcoming and chatty. Service really does come with a smile. The food is simple but we'll presented and delicious. Coffee is excellent. Highly recommend a visit.

Very nice food. Went with a large party, and had to pre order (which was no problem) however the first 2 meals came out half an hour after our booking time and then the rest a further half an hour after that. Thought that was the point of a pre order. Understand they were busy. And food was really nice. Would go back if in the area and a smaller party

Popped in on Sunday 25th June around 11.30, was advised the coffee machine was not working, but they were getting this sorted. Sat down at a table and the waitress bought over some menus, all was going well, we were then left sat there like lepers whilst other customers walked in and were served almost instantly. There was no attempt to ask if we wanted cold drinks, as the coffee machine was still an issue. Staff walked passed us twice with no attempt to take our order. We decided to leave as the cafe was struggling to cope, even though it wasn't that busy, a member of staff Said we turned up at a bad time due to the coffee nachine, however if they'd asked us we would have selected cold drinks. Unfortunately staff here do not have enough training to recognise what is needed, due to this they lost out on an order that would probably grossed £40.00, instead choosing to serve drinks orders to regulars. Its a pity but it shows you need good staff that are trained. I hope they get themselves sorted or they may lose out on much needed income.

Terrible service - waited over 10 minutes on being served with our order. Coffee machine was broken when we first arrived and was happy to order around the drinks. Other customer being served drinks that had just arrived. Jittermugs unfortunately missed out on our food and drinks order due to no attentive customer service. Went else where locally which was much busier and received great customer service.

I'm a regular here, such a comfortable place to be in. Particularly recommend it if you are dining alone or following a low-carb lifestyle, the tapas menu is so accommodating.

Coffee is always exceptional and so is the food. However one member of staff was so rude to me the last time I came in I really don't want to come back. Its not a good look on a business to insult your customers as they walk out the door for trying to help by bringing up the used mugs.

Staff friendly and helpful, atmosphere pleasant, prices fair. All together a good experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Only had a coffee but it was just about average. Service ok, and very small space and difficult to sit if you're more than 6 foot. Still open to try the Tapas in the future. Edit on 11/02/2023: Went again for a coffee. It was less busy, service was excellent and the cappuccino and the brownie were superb. They also had vegan options for my friend. Still yet to try the Tapas!

We only had cappocinos so can't review fully. The coffee was excellent. Lady v pleasant and furnished ina nice " shabby chic " style in an old building of character in heart of the town. Worth a stop for quick refresshment.

Top notch cappuccino and treats. Came back three times while visiting Faversham. Comfortable for sitting to read or work on a laptop with their WiFi. Adorable dogs coming through as well. Loved it all and was pleasantly surprised at what I consider low prices - half of what we pay in Chicago.

I love this place! If I didn't live over 100miles away, I would be there all the time. The service was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and products. Very personable, creating a lovely atmosphere. Really nice decor, very clean, and the outdoor seating in the secret garden was lovely... I hope I make it back there to see it lit up in the evening, it would be so pretty. Our Tapas was beautiful and really tasty too. No pre prepared rubbish, very fresh, chosen for quality and flavour, skillfully prepared and elegantly presented. Reasonable price too.

Fabulous place, good food, coffee and service!

We planned to go to a different cafe which was unfortunately closed, so we ended up here instead. And what can I say? We got very pleasantly surprised! The food was really good, the atmosphere very relaxing, and the staff really friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about at all :)

Perfect breakfast! We tried Greek Eggs, English breakfast and pancakes. Pancakes were super soft, fresh and tasty. Perfect portion for sharing with somebody. My scrambled eggs were a perfect combination with feta cheese. I really recommend for everybody. English breakfast served with sausages and bacon from local farmers. Nice and runny eggs. Staff were very nice, all food was made to requirement. Place is clean and friendly also. I never drink that good coffee in my life (I'm barista). Strong and creamy. Will be back definitely when or if I'm in the area again.

The Service I got from the staff was Unacceptable and need to improve on Standards

Me and my mate went on the 21/02/22 for a takeout, the employee there was particularly unpleasant towards me. I ordered an expresso because I was quite tired at the time, the guy reacted negatively however for some strange reason, started talking to me in a very unpleasant way. By the time he gave the drink he was still talking in a stiff manner towards me, he only filled 1/3 of the cup and didn't put a lid on. I feel like it was a waste of my time and money, to be fair. if this guy regular employee or even worse the owner I do not recommend.

Love this coffee shop. The lady who makes my coffees on a tueaday genuinly makes the best lattes!

NOT DOG FRIENDLY looked online to find a dog friendly breakfast place and found jittermugs. Food lovely but guy behind the counter was incredibly rude. Came here 22nd august 2021 with our two small dogs. Sat outside for breakfast. Some dogs walked past so naturally our dogs barked at them as they come past, they did this twice maybe 3 times. We heard the guy making coffee not sure if he’s the owner or not say “I’m going to skin those dogs alive if they carry on” we finished our breakfast and I went in and paid for our food. I explained that I’d looked online and it said dog friendly. I also said I didn’t respect him saying that he would skin my dogs alive. He replied “you shouldn’t bring your dogs to town if they bark” I’m sorry but dogs bark and it states online that you are dog friendly. I told him we wouldn’t be returning. His behaviour was disgusting it’s a shame the food was so lovely. As I would of liked to have said compliments to the chefs. I suggest you take dog friendly off your online representation. And In future not say threatening words in an environment where customers can see/hear you.

Lovely cafe, makes a great oat milk matcha latte.

Friendly staff, we sat for long chat and they didn't give us the evil look of: when are you leaving, we need the table for another customer! A quiet environment and clean toilet facilities.
