Not sure why there are so many complaining reviews here. The breakfast was hot quick and tasty. No it’s not fancy but it does what it says on the tin good breakfast food price.

Terrible food and service, won't be back. Food had obviously been pre-cooked and not thoroughly re-heated. Not the treat we were expecting...

After meeting friends at Brighouse station we took the option of early doors breakfast. Good menu to choose from here. We all took a variety of cooked breakfasts with tea toast etc. Good portions If Im niggling it was a bit greasy otherwise all ok

Excellent value breakfast. Large mug of coffee/tea included in price. Chose the breakfast for around £6:50. 2 bacon, 2 sausage, toast, fried bread, beans, fried egg. Tasted superb. Going to try lunch next time. Looking forward to it.

I've been six times in a week at various times. Breakfast is good and hot. First time in ages I have actually had hot beans from a cafe. Just had lunch tuna salad. Only £5.30 with a cuppa. Friendly people service is quick even in the busy times. The girls are always cleaning but they have missed the backs of the wooden chairs are sticky that's the only reason I gave 4 stars. Well done to all. The lovely Niamh has a pleasant demeanor.

Pre virus we would have sat in this nice little cafe, but only take-outs available at the moment. Ordered a bacon & egg buttie and sausage & tomato. They were delicious, large fluffy teacakes, tasty sausage and all at a very reasonable price. The cafe has recently changed owners. Place is spotless. Good luck to the new owners

For a proper traditional English breakfast this is a great place to visit. The food is freshly cooked and served in good portions. The service is prompt and friendly and you get a cracking mug of tea.

I wanted to write a review on this place because I'd read a couple bad reviews and... I don't understand how you could rate this place low! This place is great, great location, the scones are TO DIE FOR and the rest of the food was lovely, hearty portions. I would recommend this place to anyone, we had the burger and the savoury tart— we were not disappointed. Definately plan to return at some point.

Terrible service. Booked for 12:30, and there was 2 tablets in the whole restaurant. After an hour we spoke to a member of staff who said it would be a further 30 minutes. 1 hour 30 for 5 roast dinners is atrocious. We were told there was 2 checks in front of us and the food has still not been started. Will not be returning or recommending!

This is a review for the takeaway, not the restaurant upstairs. Usually great chips, usually poor fish. "Large" haddock is very, very small, and sometimes... well, I'm really not sure it's actually haddock. I grew up with family members in the trade, and my Dad's cousin Derek used to run a chippy - so I know what haddock tastes like!!

We didn’t eat here this visit, but wish we’d had time! The roast dinners looked and smelled delicious! We were booked on a canal cruise which departed by the pub, which was packed. Last time we visited we had “snack” type meals which were lovely, it’s one of my favourite places to visit in Hebden Bridge & we’ve been lucky enough to sit outside and people watch in the sunshine. Great selection of drinks
