Starbucks Ldn Rd in Southampton

I work near here and unfortunately this is my nearest Starbucks but I'm done with here due to the consistently rude and incompetent/disinterested staff, especially the Eastern European lady . I would say on average they get my drink wrong 50% of the time. My advice; if you really want Starbucks, go the one on Above Bar, so much better than this dross.

I’d spent the night in Southampton with my partner his sister and her family before going on a cruise. After checking out our hotel we popped out for a cuppa and a bit of brekkie and stopped off. It was really quiet although it seems busy with outside orders being picked up. Place was clean and staff friendly.

Our cruise ship was here for the day, so we wandered the town and stopped here for some coffee to revive ourselves. Good service and good wifi.

I usually order from here via Uber Eats but sometimes come in and get my coffee too. Staff are always friendly and service is quick. It's all about that pumpkin spice now its Autumn...

They have good coffee here and you can find your favorite coffee drink amidst their silly names. The quality is standard, good service.

I ordered online to collect in store and when I picked up, the baristas said that they could not heat up my toastie because they had turned off the grill even though it was still 15 minutes before they closed (even though online it said they closed at 6pm and this was at 4:15pm). Instead, they gave me a piece of greaseproof paper and told me to heat the toastie in an oven or microwave at home. Absolutely disgraceful.

We stopped here to buy a couple of lattes to take with us as we were out and about touring. The coffee was good.

We visited starbucks today,our first impressions were, nice coffee. Great food and tasty too. The cleanliness was perfect,no mess on tables,staff were wearing masks. The only thing letting this coffee shop in London Road Southampton were the staff were a bit moody and abrupt. I don't know if they were under stress due to the pandemic. The coffee shop is in a great location with more table space than the starbucks in Above Bar street, in the city centre. I would probably go to this branch again as its more spacious and away from the crowds unlike the Above Bar branch, the staff hopefully will be a bit more happy to serve you the next time we come,everyone has on off day sometimes so didn't complain.

I ordered chocolate coffee crunch, barista waited to put cream on top after I came from ladies room. Perfect timing. And nice coconut lime cake, as great options of dairy free milk.

Nice coffee and pastry. But what a horrible looking shop. If you feel down, I wouldn't visit this Starbucks. So miserable looking.

I used to visit a cafe called Greentrees in London Road Southampton, sadly gone now, but was so pleased to find this particular Starbucks. It is so much better than the smaller Starbucks much further down in Above Bar Street. This one in London Road is just the sort of place I love. It is darker and so much more relaxing, I didn't want to leave. I had a delicious scrambled egg & spinach and a wonderful latte with cream on top. Both members of staff I spoke to were extremely nice, pleasant and friendly. I hope I can get back in there when I visit Southampton again, I visited late afternoon, early evening so thankfully not too many people in there and I was able to find a quiet place to sit on a comfy sofa against a wall painted a lovely, soothing shade of petrol blue, and , one of the best things of all, it is not too brightly lit in there, which is one of the things I absolutely hate, I cannot stand some of these harshly bright cafes, all chrome and gleaming surfaces, people who like those sort of places are welcome to them, please stay away from somewhere darker which you will only want to complain about, this is for those of us who appreciate somewhere where we just want to chill and relax in a soothing ambiance, which is what I found here and intend visiting Southampton again soon just to be able to go into this Starbucks.

Paid through the nose for a fairly average mocha, and my pastry. Didn’t give me my pastry, only realised once l got to my destination. Not impressed

Never been to a Starbucks but I thought I’d try it. The coffee was weak (I know that’s the style) and a flat white isn’t what they think it is. Overall, dismal. There are 2 far superior cafes within 100 yards (I shouldn’t have been so lazy!).

Why go to a nice place for coffee when you can go here? It’s dark, dingy and wholly unfriendly. The coffee’s ok but the food not. There’s nice places nearby, so it’s best to avoid this soulless aberration.

I'm not a great Starbucks fan but the food & coffee was ok. I don't ever have great expectations of chain coffee houses because it seems to me that they are never kept clean because all the staff are behind the counter. Most of the tables in this one were clear but the toilet was unflushed & there was no toilet paper. Not the best experience.

As a writer I spend my days I cafes drinking my beverage of choice the traditional cappuccino, so I know what one is and I know what I like. But apparently according to the team and one server in particular I need it spelling out...

Coffee is as expected. While my gold card worked for payment I could not use it to redeem anything. They also charge extra for take-out cups.

Recently completed a cruise and going on shore at Southampton experienced great cappuccinos at this Starbucks outlet Standard in keeping with other Starbucks Decor very attractive and fee wifi available

London rd needed a sizable coffee place, to sit and relax. Street Parking at £2.20 needs to be taken into consideration. Greedy Council just don't get it
