Starbucks Drive Thru in Dover

Typically I absolutely love Starbucks, however this particular Starbucks manages to mess up my order on numerous occasions. Once or twice I don’t mind we’re human and all make mistakes. However I’ve visited this store twice in the last two days, I asked for a large iced oat matcha latte with white mocha sauce.. I got a medium, they remade it.. I then got it without the white mocha (wasn’t until I’d driven off and tasted it I noticed). Today.. again I asked for the same thing AGAIN, I got a medium, it was remade but they just threw loads of ice in the drink and blended it up so I now can barely drink it because it’s FULL of blended ice and tastes like cinnamon?! Previously they’ve made it hot when I’ve asked for iced, I’ve had it made with normal milk when I ask for oat milk. I work nearby and lots of my colleagues complain that their coffee is burnt and ridiculously hot which coffee shouldn’t be. Not to mention a time when I ordered spinach & red pepper egg bites for my partner, they were freezing cold! Fed up of this place messing up simple orders.

They never read orders back which I hate! Today they forgot the caramel syrup in our caramel lattes. No biggy but when we asked for it they charged us an extra £1.30 despite us have gold membership which means syrup is usually free. Katy was super unhelpful with a ‘computer says no’ attitude rather than try to assist and made us pay the additional fee.

We visited this new Starbucks for the first time yesterday and as Starbucks do very well, this is a modern, airy building. It was just a shame that though it was pretty quiet (3 or 4 tables inhabited over the hour or so we were there) there was lots of tables with old cups and crumbs on whilst four staff were on duty, chatting behind the counter. we understand that this type of work can be boring and not that well paid but though they were polite there just seemed to be no care taken to the environment the customers are sitting in.
