Typically I absolutely love Starbucks, however this particular Starbucks manages to mess up my order on numerous occasions. Once or twice I don’t mind we’re human and all make mistakes. However I’ve visited this store twice in the last two days, I asked for a large iced oat matcha latte with white mocha sauce.. I got a medium, they remade it.. I then got it without the white mocha (wasn’t until I’d driven off and tasted it I noticed). Today.. again I asked for the same thing AGAIN, I got a medium, it was remade but they just threw loads of ice in the drink and blended it up so I now can barely drink it because it’s FULL of blended ice and tastes like cinnamon?! Previously they’ve made it hot when I’ve asked for iced, I’ve had it made with normal milk when I ask for oat milk. I work nearby and lots of my colleagues complain that their coffee is burnt and ridiculously hot which coffee shouldn’t be. Not to mention a time when I ordered spinach & red pepper egg bites for my partner, they were freezing cold! Fed up of this place messing up simple orders.

They never read orders back which I hate! Today they forgot the caramel syrup in our caramel lattes. No biggy but when we asked for it they charged us an extra £1.30 despite us have gold membership which means syrup is usually free. Katy was super unhelpful with a ‘computer says no’ attitude rather than try to assist and made us pay the additional fee.

We visited this new Starbucks for the first time yesterday and as Starbucks do very well, this is a modern, airy building. It was just a shame that though it was pretty quiet (3 or 4 tables inhabited over the hour or so we were there) there was lots of tables with old cups and crumbs on whilst four staff were on duty, chatting behind the counter. we understand that this type of work can be boring and not that well paid but though they were polite there just seemed to be no care taken to the environment the customers are sitting in.

With big chains nearby it is easy to overlook this little place, but please don’t! It has a lovely atmosphere and a good selection of lunchtime foods and plenty of different drinks. Every one of our party was able to try a different flavour milkshake!

Bridge StreetFor the second week an absolute shambles ordered fish and chips last week told the lady cooking it would only cook us an all day breakfast as we were to early @ 11:40 this week we delayed our arrival to 1pm and ordered fish and chips and was told they only had an all day breakfast I spoke with the young man on the till whose attitude was at best disconcerted I also pointed out that the male toilets haven’t been open on my visits for the last 3 weeks even whilst I write the lady is telling those in the que they are only doing breakfast the shame is I came back and had told others the fish and chips was good but I won’t be coming back which means working in the care home I do will mean Morrisons will lose about £1000 per month but hey I’m only a customer Tesco here we come 🤮🤮🤮

Waterloo CrescentI walked into this Waterfront Bar & Lounge early morning after a lovely zen walk along the seafront with my family. Then visited the cafe, then was greeted by a member of staff with a very unfriendly demeanour no morning greeting - I was greeted with a grumpy face and was told “we are busy so you will have to wait! “ So I walked out and went to COSTA - I like to support local business but not this occasion!

8 Ramsgate RoadWas in here on Saturday 19 October 2024 at about 4.30 ish, with my autistic step daughter, and all of the guys working were absolutely brilliant. They answered her many questions ranging from whether or not they get free subway while they are working to what are olives like. I regularly use this branch of subway and having bought the same food as we usually get at a different branch, both myself and my partner agreed that the quality of the food from this branch is much better. Thank you again guys
