Shockingly poor service today. Abrupt server who was more interested in having a laugh than speaking to her customers. Long wait on drive thru due to lack of interest. Topped of by a cappuccino that certainly wasn’t a cappuccino, tasted foul! Need some major training and better Managing!

I know working retail sucks and at the end of the night you want to close up and go but when I show up at 947pm and you are closed all the chairs are on tables and lights off and one guy is mopping then you don’t close at 10pm you close at 930pm and that is fine but just put that as your closing time. I passed other places to specifically go here to get a drink and then had nowhere else to go on my way home because by then it was too late to get to anywhere else in the direction I was going. Maybe it is time to stop going all together to Starbucks and actually find someplace else that wants my money, and can provide better service.

Perfect place to stop for a coffee with friends, or to get work done. Plenty of options for food and drinks. Also, friendly staff, free Wifi and power options. Although the drink I received was slightly wrong, the staff happily remade it for me (My drink was complex)

Doesn’t accept cash. Legal tender should be accepted and when asked why they don’t the manager said nothing and staff responded with I just work here. Then the next customer tried to pay with cash and had the same issue. The amount of tradesmen I know who get paid cash on jobs and want to pay cash because they get charged by the banks for using card is huge. Banks charge a business for using cards to pay for goods, if Starbucks is willing to knock that charge off the price of a cup of coffee because of their crap attitude to cash then fine.

Really not impressed with the service at this Starbucks. About 10 people who ordered after us were served before us. I was served my drink (in takeaway cup even though I said we were sitting in. The member of staff poured it into a cup for me after I pointed this out) after about 5 minutes but then waited about 15 minutes for my sons drink. My son is autistic so this caused him to become agitated and upset. I eventually had to go up and remind them about the drink. To be fair, the staff I spoke to were apologetic about it and made the drink straight away. Still really disappointing though.

Happy with coffee and service. We go to this Starbucks often and also use the drive-thru a lot when going to work. They do get our orders wrong quite often when it comes to what type of milk we would like, but this may be due to new staff and inexperience. Dog friendly & clean

Great service, very efficient. I just love how welcoming this store is for all members of the family, including the ones with 4 legs! We will definitely be back.

Store is well maintained and the staff are always very welcoming, often having my drink ready, as soon as I enter the store. Ideal opening hours for commuters (6am-10pm)

The worst Starbucks by far. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 buns to eat in. They took so long to shout the name and gave to us in a takeaway cups then we told we were staying in so they just brought a mug and poured the drinks into it and passed them over. Drinks weee cold and tasteless … absolutely terrible shocking Starbucks experience

Well situated for all Wakefield traffic , it needs new staff and management , was amazing when first opened but dirty and lack of ingredients for drinks . When we visited there were about 8-10 people waiting many with partners / families , For some reason a single drink was being given after much waiting to each of these people and not the rest of the family / couple Cups left on tables not cleared up , bins overflowing Toilets -paper everywhere . A lot of the Frappuccino flavours not avail , coffees served lukewarm . Easily worst Starbucks ever visited , care of opening hrs stated 11pm but get kicked out of cafe 9.30pm . I’d give a 0 stars but not available ..

I usually go to this starbucks as it is local, it gets worse and worse every time. They hand out the wrong drinks and expect you not to notice! i have worked at starbucks before and understand it can be stressful in a rush. but no customer should be paying for a large and receiving a medium! especially the wrong drink nevermind the wrong size. unacceptable

This is honestly the worst Starbucks I have ever visited. We have been a few times, purely because it’s the one most local to us. The staff are always friendly enough but the service is very slow. The main reason for our visits lately has to try the new in, limited edition drinks. They never ever have the correct ingredients to make them but rather than tell you, they just give you an incorrect drink and hope you don’t notice. They never have the pumpkin spice cream but again, they don’t tell you they don’t. They just hope you don’t notice. Most recently we tried the sour apple Frappuccino, yes it tasted of apple but they put some chocolate sauce in, instead of the black sauce on the menu and again with standard cream, not sour apple flavoured cream. I get it’s not the staffs fault they’re not supplied with the correct ingredients to make these things but I just wish they would be more honest about it. When you’re paying £5-£6 for a drink you expect it to be what you ordered. Like several people have mentioned, the place is filthy and to be honest I’ve never known why. I understand it gets busy but there’s always plenty of staff on so I don’t understand why one of them can’t possibly clear some tables and sweep the floor. I can understand it’s not the best job in the world but the staff there really don’t care about customer service or doing their job correctly

In Starbucks at the moment, have visited this branch many times and unfortunately it gets worse on every visit, I think it’s one of the dirtiest coffee shops I know, even when staff are stood around has no one told them to clean and tidy, it could really do with a deep clean I feel grubby from sitting at the tables. The staff are pleasant but very slow and unorganised. Such a shame as great location

I went in today and happily paid nearly £10 for two coffees in a biscuit sat and waited for my coffee switch seem to take an eternity when they came went out to my car set off to drive home and noticed the Barista hadn’t put any milk in the coffee I went back into Starbucks explained to them that there was no milk in the coffee so the Gender neutral person just poured some milk into a cup and put it on the counter in front of me, I said I ordered a coffee with milk and they told me that some people had it separately, this clearly wasn’t the case as the coffee cup was full to the brim with coffee, The barrister said that I was being aggressive and I replied I only asked for milk in my cup. Then the manager told me that they are very busy today, I didn’t understand what relevance that has with whether my drink has milk in it or not. All in all it was a very frustrating experience!

Visited with family but not as good as previous visits. Lady who took order was nice....but at service area no clean trays and girl I asked was bordering on rude and uninterested others at service area had also struggled to find a clean tray. Too many label's and plastic waste.... it's a shame as in past much better experience. It's not cheap and if staff not happy they shouldn't be working. Needs some better leadership... take a lesson from McDonald's training program. I will visit again but this time I am afraid its a could do better....

We was in the mood for something light and refreshing, our eyes were struck to the brand spanking new Starbucks frappuccinos. Our first try was the passion fruit and raspberry flavour. Now, our expectations were as high the local smackhead but it turned out to be more depressing than his comedown. Although it looked appealing with its fandabadozie looks our taste buds were permanently damaged. All we could taste was full blown passion fruit which was more sour than Susan! Once we mixed it 3000 times with our soggy straw #prayforturtles the drink became comme cí comme cá which led to us splashing out another bank breaking £5 on a banana split... (This is my weekly wage after 40 hours of grafting) If you thought the review on the last drink was bad then get ready for this one. It should be called banana sick. I promise you all with my whole heart I have had nicer drinks out of my local reservoir after seeing fat John has had a dip in it. This was THE single worst drop of liquid I have ever tasted and if my life was on the line I would take death 1000 times over than to drink this again. The smell alone would cause everyone in England to evacuate the country. Nay, the continent. Sorry Starbucks but you have dropped a real stinker here, I wouldn't be surprised if you were shut down for serving this diabolical poison. In conclusion, we have issued this drink with a WARNING DO NOT TRY AT HOME! Please for the sake of your families do not order this. We have tried this so you don't have to. Over and out!

Whilst the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful, the decor and lack of atmosphere let this coffee shop down. The tables are always dirty and never cleaned, and there are always piles of paperwork and staff laptops left out on the main bar table...

In a group of 5, 3 bought from the cafe and me and other bought from the shop itself. All sat on the same table yet were kicked out for not each buying from specifically the cafe. Employee had nasty tone.

Large group, pre ordered meals in the Xmas period. You would think the chef would make an effort to impress. Starters ok. Mains took 10 minutes to serve 3/4 different choices. Cold plates. Cold food. Vegetables arrived about 3 days after the plated meals. Gravy never materialised. Probably still on the hob. Hot roast potatoes and chips rocked up just after everyone had finished. Serving staff tried their best but kitchen clearly a disorganised shambles. Puddings ok but not that difficult. No check on whether meals were ok. Complacent attitude. Nah!

I usually call in on my commute from Manchester to Nottingham. A great location, ample parking. It can be busy around the car park due to a large business park, fuel station and hot food takeaway's in the vicinity, so have your wits about you in the car park. A huge Starbucks, ample seating, standard Starbucks choices. In general the place is usually always clean with plenty of staff. My last experience wasn't as good, the usual Starbucks standards had rasied it head. Staff milling around chatting and not actioning the rather large line of in shop customers or clearing the dirty tables and cups. In general this is one of the more pleasant Starbucks, let hope my last visit was a blip.

Awesome work from the Costa team at Wakefield Westgate station. Turned an Americano round in 1 and a half minutes (I was running late!) - followed me out to the platform with it as the train was pulling in. Great coffee too. Thanks fellas!
