Starbucks in Southampton

Mesas desordenadas, personal abrupto, y no aceptan Amex, así que no pude ganar mis puntos. Le estoy dando dos estrellas solo porque un miembro del personal fue amable, pero en general, la experiencia fue decepcionante y deficiente.

Fue agradable encontrar esta cafetería de cadena similar a la que voy en casa. Así que entramos y encontramos que sirven casi los mismos productos que obtenemos en casa. Y tomamos un buen café.

Stood for about ten minutes in what I thought was the queue to order but that turned out to be the queue to collect. A cashier stood at the till the whole time and didn't ask anyone if they wanted to order, there was definitely a confusion going on amongst customers. So I had to leave that queue, order then re join the queue. Someone ordered a cheese toastie and the cashier asked if anyone had ordered it but no one answered so she just left it on the counter. Pretty obvious it could be someone elsewhere already seated, but she didn't even bother to look. Eventually someone came up asking for it and she handed it over. Waited ages for our coffees as there was only one person serving. They were supposed to be toffee nut latte but tasted like regular latte with no syrup and it was very cold. Overall the place was littered with empty cups and plates and dirty tables. Seemed to be 2 staff working one on till one on the coffee machine, no communication and very unhappy to be there.

The Starbucks opposite the railway station is the worst I I ever been too. Six staff members milling around doing little. Three customers being ignored. Tried to use my gift cards with at least 40 quid on them but was told to ring customer service and look up the number online. Coffee crap and not the size ordered but the guy making the coffee did say he was learning. More worryingly, in the middle of an upsurge in Covid numbers, I asked where the hand sanitizer was. She asked whether I meant butter or jam (Maybe my mask did make understanding hard). However, she established there was none either for customer use or staff use. The customer service product and hygiene are a total disgrace. Dirty cups and tables despite the high staff/customer ratio and a don't give a damn attitude.

The Worst coffee I’ve ever had ! Horrible Luke warm . I didn’t have chance to change to take or back I had to go work . I would of if I had time it tasted werid thankgod the chocolate twist was ok . Always stick to your favourite places nero’s above Bar amazing coffee the pastry’s are way better .

Terrible service by team member and manager. Got overcharged for an extra shot of coffee and when I explained to the barista he said I had to complain to Starbucks, asked for the manager who said there was nothing she could do. Didn’t offer to do a partial refund for the extra charge or anything to satisfy me. Very poor service provided. Franchising their stores with no follow ups on stores was the worst thing they could’ve done.

When I visited it was early afternoon and not very busy Asked for a knife to cut my muffin with and was told dismissively by Lottie “we’ve run out of knives - you’ll have to try using a fork”. Then asked for a saucer for my cup of flat white and she said again with no apologies “we’ve run out of saucers too, you’ll have to make do without one” Won’t visit there again

Line was long but that’s to be understandable as it is popular and quite small space. However staff were friendly and helpful. Because of how busy it was it seemed like staff were being rude but I understand why as they were in a rush. All together it was a very nice outing with my friend. Also they were very quick considering how many people were in there and how small it was in the kitchen area aswell as behind the counter.

Don't know why my friend and I went to Starbucks instead of our usual (and first rate) Coffee One...probably because it was close by and very cold outside. Anyway, the 'atmosphere' (if you can call it that) was non existent, the staff seemed lost and/or indifferent and the coffee and hot chocolate we ordered were weak and disappointing. However, the most off putting aspect of our visit was the terrible state of the loos and the staff's apparent annoyance at having to replenish the loo roll. Coffee One's just over the road. Give Starbucks a miss and head there. You won't regret it!

Long queue to order our drinks followed by a further 5min wait to get our drinks - certainly was an experience, just not the one we wanted!! Please ensure you are staffed up appropriately

On holiday was excited to go to Starbucks so disappointed rude staff asked for my coffee to be extra hot when I got my coffee it wasn’t even hot asked if this was extra hot was told we don’t do this I know I know this is a complete lie also the coffee was bitter which is because the coffee shot was left sitting disappointing as I love Starbucks

Filthy toilets, grubby tables and floor. What is the manager of this Starbucks doing? We had two drinks and whilst we were there not one of the three staff did any tidying at all. Avoid and go to the Starbucks down the road in west quay.

Nice place to have a coffee, location is good, a little crowded, seating area is ok, but air condition is weak, need some repairs.

Must for any crewmember.. quick coffee and get some WiFi... update apps and stuff. Vanilla latte Is the best haha

Spacerujac wzdluz zachowanych murow wokol miasta, warto zajrzec do tej kawiarni i napic sie dobrej kawy. Lokal znajduje sie przy nabrzezu.

I had a meeting with a client early this morning. I wanted to use the rest room before I had my meeting and didn't want to start buying a coffee and take it with me to the toilet. I asked for the code and the rude girl behind the counter said you have to buy something to get the code! I explained I will be buying any moment as soon as my client arrived. She still refused. A disgrace and I wont be going back to this brand and train your staff in customer service as it sucked!! shocking in 2017

Workers are stressed, rude and not kind in general with customers, especially if tourists. Tables are often dirty, as well as the floor. There are definitely better place to have breakfast or lunch, in the same street.

Why oh why has the Starbucks next to West Quay closed?? Service there was nice and quick and the staff were upbeat. This Marland's shop by contrast is so sloooow. Firstly, they take your order on the till and THEN ask you for everything again...

Called in here and it's what you expect with starbucks. However the time to get just two Americano Coffees was a joke. Over 10 minutes and there was only 3 in front of me. Why they haven't invented a,faster way of serving coffees is beyond...

Usual set up downstairs with counter but only a few seats so took our coffee and sandwiches upstairs. What a disappointment. Very drab, cold environment. All dark brown and stark. Would work as a 1970s film set. Needs a remodel

The staff here are brilliant, especially both lees.powlo and Christina. Always come here for my morning coffee, they start my order as soon as they see me. Great servise. Always served with a smile no matter how early it is. Great coffee and a friendly...
