Great location for a chilled out coffee. A hotspot for students but great if you don’t mind that. Quiet a lot of the time but busy enough to people watch if that’s your thing (it is mine). Would love some more outdoor seating when the weather is nice but there is plenty inside, comfy seating or high up barstools too if you prefer. Would like a bit more selection in terms of pastries but that’s minor for me. Staff are always amazingly helpful, super polite and great with the kids! 👌🏻

Massive thanks to the 2 batistas in the Baxter Gate starbucks on Tuesday 30th May. Only just found out I'm intolerant to milk and wasn't sure what I could and couldn't have! Took the time to go through it with me. Then my daughter isn't usually keen on much. The lady also took the time to order her exactly what she liked. The lady who made it made her smile and was such a lovely person. Made my Daughters day really. Thanks from Hannah & Mia xx

Popped in for a quick coffee, found the barista very friendly. Much more memorable than a standard Starbuck's visit. Also worth noting there are absolutely loads of powerpoints here so ideal if you want to work on your laptop.

This was our first visit to this Starbucks in Loughborough. It’s situated right next door to the recently opened cinema. The standard is the usual from Starbucks, the staff were excellent too.

Love the White Horse. Been coming for a few years now as its a nice walk across from the boatyard where I live. Always stop in on way back for a drink. Last night was the first night I ate there. Myself n partner chose burgers, he the Yankee burger, me the what came first burger, (Chicken breast in breadcrumbs with a crispy egg on top). Burgers were served with French fries and onion rings all very tasty. I left room for dessert, I had the frangipane and pear tart oooh my days can I have the recipe please?? . As desserts go it was yummy but not much to look at lol, but boy did it taste well. The only downside the fries got cold quick, maybe due to surface size, I always find fries get cool quick. Next time I'll eat them first lol. All washed down with a glass of NZ Cab Sauv. Defo need to try the food here again. The garden here is lovely and terraced with plenty of outside and under the sheltered area seating. They do quizzes here too. It's by the river in birstal and maybank holiday is a must, Duck race time.

We went on a Friday evening ‘Fish and Chip special night’ . Although there were other available options, 3 out of the 4 of us opted for the fish and chips. It was THE best fish and chips I’ve had in a very very long time - absolutely delicious! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere in the pub is lovely. Our friend had the pie and she said that too was delicious. Please give The Wheatsheaf a try; you won’t be disappointed. We will be back - very soon 😊
