Appalling service here…. both the drive thru and sat inside. Ridiculously long wait times for a coffee. Tried it for the last time!

I went into Cleckheaton Starbu6 and I didn't get my order quite right. And Ellie was brilliant. She went above and beyond to help me. Ellie is an asset to Starbucks.

Its so bloody frustrating. I dont ever write reviews on anything but this is beyond a bloody joke now. Its not as though i ask for a complicated drink either. I order a dead simple large blonde roast latte with whole milk and sometimes an extra shot and only very very VERY few times have yiu got this correct. As a former worker in starbucks i knkw how coffees are made! Your latte milk consistency is s***e and that of the foamyest caplachino its half a cup of milk! And the drink costs £4 to £5 quid!! I ask for whole milk yet i watch you pour green top?? Why!! Ive just drove in today after a s**t day at work and again i order the simplest of drinks a large blonde roast latte with WHOLE MILK!!! but despite this i get given a medium latte with 4 caramel shots?? W*f !?? Why is it so hard? How are you getting such simple drinks wrong! When elliot use to work there and im not sure if he still does? He was the only worker that could consistently make a banging latte. The rest of your staff seriously need training. Your all polite for sure but your standards are @£^&&^@@%&&*)!!!!! ITE.

After my last dismal visit several months ago, I thought I'd give it another try as I was passing and needed a quick lunch. Well the lady on the till was new I think so the order was slow, which is absolutely fine, she was lovely and little nervous. Unfortunately, I ate my lunch before even getting my drink. I assumed the young lady had not passed my drink order across which is not a huge issue. But when I went to ask, another lady said I would just have to wait and it will be at the end of the bar. At this point I knew my order hadn't been passed across so I asked if they could check and the lady just repeated I would have to wait and it would be at the end. So, I sat down, after another 10 mins I went up to the bar and the lady making the drinks asked what I was waiting for, I told her...and surprise surprise, she didn't have it. So she apologised and made it for me straight away. I don't understand why the other lady was so abrupt and rude and didn't just check for me. The other staff were lovely and the drink was lovely.

Called in for a coffee on my way up to York. the staff where clearly stressed out and taking it out on customer, they got my order wrong to which I pointed out their error, The member of staff at the till clearly thought I was to blame with his rude tone of voice and patronising choice of language ! Definitely won't be returning!!

I got a parking ticket from Parking Eye despite giving my registration to staff and being assured it would be ok to overstay the two hours. I also videoed the interaction as proof. I went back to the store who promised to sort it out and was told to ignore the ticket, I also videoed this interaction. A few weeks later I get a county court summons with extra costs. As Starbucks have no complaints procedure and no interest I have little choice but to pay a sum now inflated because of the staffs false promises. Disgusted - no doubt this review will be ignored by them

Arrived at 9:10 on Mon 13 June. There were three people in enjoying a drink. There was one car at the drive through and two staff working. I arrived at the counter and waited 5 minutes. One staff member was having a conversation with the driver, the other was making coffee. After 5 minutes of waiting without at least an acknowledgement or apology, I decided to leave and do without my coffee. I’d hate to see what they would be like if they suddenly got a rush on.

I go to this branch among others quite frequently, on this one occasion I was served by a young woman named Chloe.G. She provided outstanding service that was second to none. She was not only very polite and patient but also showed true care for a customer. A credit to the company!

We’re all having a hard time at the moment, but you don’t have to take it out on your customers... the microphone at doesn’t work properly, and that’s annoying, but not the person ordering’s fault. I’ll give it six months and try them again, only came because the services close early now, thanks covid.

I was in this Starbucks for over an hour and a half due to the person I was meeting being delayed. Whilst some Covid restrictions were in place - distancing, masks, handwash etc. - during the whole time I was there no tables were cleaned. Not acceptable at any time never mind now.

Visited today with friends and absolutely disgusted and disappointed about the whole experience . Table was dirty so asked for it to be cleaned which was literally someone then moving the cups so I had to them go back and ask that they also wipe the mess from the table . No toilet roll in the toilets! Sorry Starbucks but the token hand sanitizer available on the way in did not come close to meeting hygiene standards during a pandemic and we will not be coming back.

Will not return to this Starbucks. Dirty tables / floor which is shocking under the current circumstances. I went to ask a staff member if they could clean our table and all she did was remove some cups. It was filthy so I had to go back to ask for them to wipe the table. It wasn’t busy and I could see 4 staff members stood about.

This has to be the slowest Starbucks I have ever visited. The drive thru took over 30 mins and it wasn't even a big queue. The staff just seemed to be messing around.

Today only two staff trying to manage cafe and drive through. Very long wait. Unacceptable of the management to leave two staff struggling like this. However they did their best and all credit to them remained positive, professional and polite.

I really feel sorry for the two staff on duty today. They are trying to run a drive thru and the restaurant between them and if it wasn’t for them this would be a zero score. Manager needs a good look at themselves to leave the store so short staffed on a Saturday lunchtime. The food and drink are standard Starbucks fare but the way the store is managed it won’t be getting good reviews today.

Asked for 1/4 ice in my iced chai, think that the picture illustrates what was basically a full cup of ice. It’s not the first time, it will definitely be the last. They even wrote 1/4 ice on the cup. Let’s not even talk about the 15m wait... dismal, abs dishonest.

Popped in with the family for a coffee, staff are really friendly and helpful but it was far too busy and they took ages to make the coffee. Nice enough coffee, bit overpriced but the same for all Starbucks, would recommend.

Stuck in the drive thru for 20 mins for a single cup of coffee. Absolute joke of a service. 3 cars in front when I arrived and it to 20 mins to serve them. When I pulled up they had my drink ready. Why can't they just ask people up to a space and serve those they can.Wasting my Sunday cheers.

As a regular customer, I have always been made to feel welcome at Starbucks, they are fantastic every time I go there. The coffee is great and the food excellent. The staff go out of their way to help me carry my orders. And last but not least, when my little Dog, Lulu comes in the car through the Drive Through, she is also welcomed with a Puppy Chino and a Hello and smile. I think the staff are great, and the cafe is spotlessly clean, with always customers enjoying their coffee and time. Cathie Brown. 28/09/2019

Every time I have been to this Starbucks, usually through the drive-in, I have waited at least 20 minutes for drinks - queue or no queue. Today I ordered one hot drink and two cold, by the time we received the third cold drink my daughter had finished the hot one. Really poor service; definitely never again.

Most staff members are lovely, however the constant change of management seems ridicules, treating staff members like sh*t on there shoes. Wouldn’t recommend the atmosphere is dull due to staff not seeming happy in there work place.

Not a regular at this Starbucks so didn’t know the hard and fast rules on where to pick up my panini once it had been warmed. The girl who took my money and order barely a few minutes previously saw me standing at the counter but threw it down at the “right” collection station without telling me mine was ready. It wasn’t until I had been waiting for what I thought was an unreasonable time and asked how long my order would be that she grunted and pointed “its over there” whilst rolling her eyes. Order now cold I wasn’t offered it reheating or any other helpful solution. Not convinced she really should be working in the customer service

I visited to meet a colleague and stayed about 3hrs, whilst drinking overpriced coffee and food.They informed me that if I planned to stay over 1.5 hrs that I should give them my car reg details so they could add me to the exception report and therefore not be charged. I did this by writing out my reg and posting it in the box that they told me to, that was on the counter. They said they would complete this at the end of the day.Come mid feb an email pops up from my company telling me I had a parking fine and that they were going to deduct £100 from my next salary payment. As I was in a hire car, by the time I got notification the time limit to pay a cheaper fine £60 had expired. I have appealed and they have turned it down.Absolutely atrocious service, I would avoid the whole area like the plague.The Starbucks management are either unclear on the parking rules or they are telling people to stay longer because they are complicit, either way it’s disgusting.#daylightrobbery #avoid

To be honest I am in here 5 days per week, but from day one the staff have always been friendly and chatty even when they are busy. If only Starbucks could take this team and copy it throughout the business then they would be busy based on friendliness and not just location!

There was one girl making coffee for around 25 people who were waiting as long as me to get a coffee, so un organised, so un professional, the joe (girl with the neck tattoo) walking around aimlessly doing no help for anyone, while Emily worked like a trouper to get some one served at least l, Megan, who was training! I feel sorry for you working with this band of useless employees, get to Leeds where your coffee is in your hands in 5 mins max.

I had a business meeting at this place as it looked convenient - just off two motorways. I got a fine of £100 for parking outside the café - outrageous. Quick to take money off the punters but not to pay what they owe. DO NOT GO TO THIS STARBUCKS UNLESS YOU HAVE £100 TO SPARE.

On 6/8/24 I was served by a lady named Theresa who was on the till. And let me just say her customer service skills need a lot of work. She scowled her whole time of serving myself and my wife. Just from this one encounter alone I will not be returning which is very disappointing due to the fact it would have been our local garden centre

Stay away from here. !! Went here for lunch with a friend, ordered a smoothie and glass of water, forgot the water then when asked, carried out a half filled glass of water on a hot day. Ordered a ham sandwich- 1 piece of ham and 2 pieces of tomato for an entire bread roll My friend got a chicken panini which cost £5, was absolutely disgusting and the owner refused a refund or the ability to swap as he said the chicken was too expensive Staff very rude Can get a better meal from McDonald’s.

I left a note and now this review. The breakfast was inedible. We waited 20 minutes for you to overcook it, had you brought it out earlier it would not have been so. Look at your ratings and start giving a damn. Food today is so expensive, and you seem to think it is fine to sell this breakfast. Why not employ someone who can actually cook. Or find a store manager that understands quality control. Your a disgrace for such a large chain, and no one is doing anything about it, disregarding customer reviews. Get a grip, get a cook, get your store manager in the loop.

This place is getting worse. 3 staff behind the counter and me and one other waiting to order. No one acknowledged us and stood waiting, being ignored, while they made Uber eats / deliveroo orders with their backs to us. Ended up walking out, again, but for the last time. Not going back. It's a scruffy dump, poor / overworked staff and ridiculously expensive. I reckon it will close soon there's never anyone in.

Went today with my Mum to have breakfast/lunch before we did our shopping. We arrived just after 11am. Mum wanted a breakfast, I fancied one of the 'light bites' which are mainly panini's (which I like) I went to the counter to ask if the 'light bites' were being served at this time. Yes indeed they were, they are served all day. Excellent. So I ordered the tuna, cheese and spring onion panini but the lady said they weren't serving paninis as they had no panini rolls. No problem, so I asked if I could order from the 'lunch menu'. The lady then suddenly announced that no food would be served for 30 minutes as the chef had just left the kitchen to have his lunch! Really? I half thought she was joking but she then kind of ran off into the back. Went to get Mum who'd found us a nice table to tell her lunch was off as the chef was having his 😀 Did our shopping, was interesting to find packs of panini rolls in the bread section 🙄.
