a little gutted it didn't come with any spoons or forks. Had to eat with my hands since I was at work. but the food was nice hence 4 stars

Ordered aaloo paratthas to pick up and specifically asked whether they were homemade type and told they were but to find they are frozen readymade paratthas and tripple the price! Were also burnt, see pic below.Should have been honest, then it's customers choice to buy or not! Would never recommend!

The food's presentation,taste and quantity was just perfect... 👌

I Ordered just one aloo paratha and waited for 25 minutes but they served me the whole burnt paratha without yogurt chutney . Even stuffing was just thin layer of aloo which you can't taste while having paratha. Not worth to spend your hard earned money.

Great service, always get the cheese and chutney toastie from here. I've tried it in Bradford but the Batley branch makes it better in my opinion.

One of my fave places to get lunch when I want something ridiculously tasty but not too heavy. The chicken tikka naan is sooooo good and nice to have desert in the form of the Nutella wrap. Always fresh and always delicious!

Got Masala Chips. Cheese was not melted so it felt all chewy. The chips felt that it was covered with tomato ketchup rather than chilli sauce. No onions, peppers or any other ingredients. Saving grace was the Pink Chai.

chaiwalas falooda cheesecake is a belter price has increments but wow that is 10/10 knock urself out

I've been coming here since it opened, it used to be my favourite spot for chai. I went this week and the chai tasted bad.. It's been getting worse for a few months now. Luckily, there are better places for chai in Batley now.

I have been a regular at this place virtually since it opened, for me it was the best place for a cup of chai. Unfortunately, it has been a steady decline for the past several months. The prices have of course have gone up, understandably, but the quality of the chai has also dropped. The last few times that I have been, the chai has been lukewarm and the cup has only been 2/3 full. Extremely disappointing. Hopefully somebody reads this and pulls their act together because when done right, their chai is decent.

The paranthas were so hard and cold and egg was all yellow coloured disgusting didnt eat anything wasted money

One drink had fallen in the bag but chaiiwalla always wrap their drinks so there was no spillage and the food was delicious

wraps had little meat , however delivery time was really good just dissapointed by potion size

Delicious warm food every time, nothing cannot fault the desi breakfast. Staff go above and beyond, very polite! and accommodating! Always go back can't get enough of their food. Love the pink tea frappe, a must try and masala chips are super yum! Keep up the service and great food :)

Lovely food , the breakfast with parata and dal and omlet was amazing , and as always - karek chai —- best tea hands down.

Wow. I & my peer are non-locals and non south Asian came here 1st time try for breakfast. Now hear me out: 1. With desi breakfast you can get choice of beans, dhaal or chana but not if you get English breakfast.. Come on dude! Be flexible! 2. Dhaal.. Means lentils.. But what type? That tell" normal" them" standard".. for me that's red lentil and my peer that's green split lentils. ! 3. Masala chips.. the server told us like English chips with masala taste. He couldn't explain what is masala though! But that came so floppy and soaked in a vile sauce. Awful. He told us is normal! 4. No hand wipes or place to wash hands! Come on. Jesus Christ! 5. The dhaal comes in a deep pot but not even half full. So to scoop with the pararha bread your sleeves with get sauce on it! Dude.. flat Plate please! 6. Lamb rashers says to die for only perfect thing. Rest no taste 7. Karahi pink tea just looks & taste like normal British tea. Crazy 8. Portions are small what you pay for needs to be double size to justify the very high prices.. More than London! I & peer totally do not recommend this place at all! £20 for 2 for breakfast that your still hungry is not worth it Sucks

Ordered on Just eat for collection. Chose the 20:30 slot. Chicken rice bowl and samosa chat. Got there at 20:25 "oh that will be another 10-15 minutes" It's currently 20:50, the place is dead, seats are run down and still no sign of my food. Shocking service and hope the place goes under

I don’t normally leave reviews but, I’m glad I found this place , the food was 10/10 even the wrapping was great.

Unhappy item missing from order and was told to come collect the item that was missing. Don't understand why I have to pay for delivery if I need to go collect missing item myself.

Delightful little cafe with friendly staff and comfortable seating. Nice view of the Batley architecture out the window. Food was delicious and there was a nice variety on the menu,good range of vegetarian options. Will be coming here again.

rose falooda large is what I ordered, received a medium looking cup with yellow liquid no rose flavouring at all, blocks of jelly. coffee karak cake with 'buttercream' icing tasted like cardboard. doughnuts are doughnuts. terrible.

Chaiwala is my favourite tea place and one of the best staff is Muskaan she literally brighten my day full of smiles always goes beyond to look after the customers, always happy and treats me so well. Love the tea from here and it taste even nice when you get served by the lovely muskaan ❤️

My omelette had no cheese or toppings in. It didn’t give me an option to choose these. I did leave a note asking for this to have everything in!

Had the full Shabang here with bruce, great experience. Usually drop by on a Sunday after car boot, excellent breakfast place. Parathas are a little bit crispy and generic. Still giving a 5 star, but please improve the parath, paratha just isnt on the same level as Mamuz in Ravensthorpe.

The girl behind the counter was very friendly, lively and positive. As were the patrons generally. Pink Kashmiri was good, omelette had a little bit of spice, Desi sausage wasn’t at all bad. But no Aloo for my paratha 😢 haha.

Can't go wrong. Food always tastes fresh. Can tell the trade has slowed down due to another cafe opening around the corner

No flavour in karak chai . Its tadt like just english tea... Not recommend from batley ...0/5 Better in bradford chaiwala . Made fresh with nice flavour

I didn’t even get tea from here, I got it across the street but my genius older brother dropped that tea, they gave me water and tissues. Very good customer service even though I wasn’t even a customer and I’m not from local. Top guys here

Pathetic service.. Ordered halwa puri channa from them, they only deliver halwa n puri we paid extra for channa but they refuse to deliver it also size of puris is so small Not gonna order again ever.

Last night after our meal walking to the car we saw chaiwalas still open we decided to go in for a hot drink. The girl behind the counter served us and we sat down with our hot drinks at the table. Then to our suprise she told us we couldn't sit down because it was 11.05pm and they were closed. We asked why she served us and her reply was i was going to throw the tea away if you hadn't been. There was another group of customers too who did get angry and wanted a refund. I believe it was VERY unprofessional they way she served us. We SHOULD have been told it was left over tea at the point of ordering which would have allowed us to decide whether to go ahead with our order or not, also she should have told us we couldn't have the tea inside at the point of taking our order. Hope management take thisf feedback seriously and take relevant action. Batley store 11.05 11.11.22

The worst Rose faluda I’ve ever had 😔 Weird powdery icecream like it’s freezer burnt, smallest cup & no bits (vermicelli) in it at all. At £3.50 I will not be returning or recommending to anyone at all.. just wrong 🥴

I don’t like to leave reviews for bad customer service as this can be down to an untrained employee on a bad day, however when something becomes a regular practice then in the best interest of the general public and the business itself that is relying on these newly recruited untrained people, I believe it is very important I share the exact experience. Although I have the names of the staff I was being served by but at this stage I would not mention them. Whenever you order over the phone, REPEAT THE ORDER TO THE PERSON ON THE PHONE, THEN MAKE THE PERSON ON THE PHONE REPEAT YOUR ORDER TOO. Then when it comes to collection, PHYSICALLY CHECK THE WHOLE ORDER, otherwise there is a very high chance of something missing from your order. As when you call them to explain what happened, all you get is one employee saying bad things about the other to simple wiggle their way out of the issue. Bottom line is. Food is good and consistent taste, BUT EXTREMELY POORLY TRAINED STAFF. Being a business owner myself, I would expect the person who owns this franchise to Read this review and take necessary actions to ensure these mistakes can be avoided to keep your regular customers loyal. Thank you!

Nice little joint for a karak and savouries or desserts to accompany the chai. Good service with a smile. Tables a little sticky but I leave the management to sort out productivity :)

Never a fan of chaiwala. Don't make fresh tea if u asked without sugar. Will just warm u through hot air.

It's nice and their food is very nice.

Tea is not great, which is a big let down for a tea shop. Just one type of mixed tea with sugar. No alternative available, at least on this outlet. Lemonade was not great either. Some nice snacks available but relatively pricey.

The food quality and customer service is excellent however, there's a major issue with portion sizes for the price it will be better value for money if they were a bit more generous as it's similar to oasis portion sizes however, the altered menu with desserts are indeed delicious and the seasonal menu's are a hit most of the time. Can the manager please consider adding proper french toast as that will be an instant crowd pleaser.

Amazing Chai I was not impressed by the food, but definitely the Chai is something that you cannot miss. 2 stars for Chai, 1 for Panic puri, 1 for customer service.

Karak chai is always on point. My particular favourite is karak chai with mint.

Very disappointed at my very first breakfast expwrience. I ordered Aaloo paratha and upon receiving it, i was taken aback by the exyremely small size of paratha in first instance. Then there was hardly any potato in that. The receptionist said its a ready mad frozen paratha they bring amd just fry it. Come on guys, you should then mention it. I woould have made it at my home by myself if i knew it before. Epic failure!

Food and the tea is great here and I love it. Unfortunately, the staff here are extremely rude and it's so off-putting. I've let it slide on many occasions, but this is becoming the norm now. Disappointing, because everything else is great.

Best Tea you can find anywhere in Dewsbury and Batley, Reminds me of Pakistani Karak Chai. Really Outstanding Customer Service too!

The Karak Chai here is amazing - at £1.79 it's essentially a blend of cinnamon and other spices mixed into a rich tea, leaving you with an aromatic aftertaste that shall warm your senses and nudge you into a better place than you were before. Try it. You'll be pleased!

We went there to try the bread, it was called parotta I guess and it is really amazing and very tasty. We also had the karak tea and the the karak coffee ( yeah they serve two types ) and they were both great. Nice place to sit with friends or fam. The staff was so friendly, the girl on the cashier explained everything and was so patient and she also made us try both types of Karak.
