Starbucks in Maidstone

The place was empty and the 2 ladies working there were too busy chatting to each other (turned away from the counter) to notice anyone waiting. Tried to get their attention but music was loud and was ignored. We were clearly an inconvenience so we won’t return.

I had to give one star as could not give 0. Not the best customer service, ordered food and a drink. Had to ask for a tray which then could only fit two small plates on. We were Informed there was only one tea bag left when ordering, it was then put into a bucket sized cup which then meant it was very weak and undrinkable. No receipt given which meant we did not have a code to use the toilets. More than anything else, there was food all over the tables, chairs and floors. Had to clean our seats before we could sit down. Very uninviting place, poor show. Has put me off using Starbucks again.

Is this Starbucks under new ownership? I have always had decent coffee here but not this time. The cappuccino hardly had any froth, so I was left drinking a bland, milky coffee. The seating has been replaced and does not look as high quality as the previous chairs. It was very expensive, considering they cannot even make a decent, frothy cappuccino.

I asked for two chai lattes and received what tasted like tea. When I asked the person making the drinks if it was definitely latte, she was incredibly stroppy. If this was meant to be latte, it’s hands down the worst one I’ve ever had.

Standard fare. Quiet venue with a slow throughput of customers. Items ordered fitted the starbucks profile perfectly. Staff pleasant and efficient

7.30am 29.04.22 Welcome with a smile Service was fast and clean even after the the school kids departed. Area was clean and tidy. Seating area upstairs was good you can sit and watch the world go bye. Music was pleasant. Toilets excellent A very nice relaxing experience to start a hectic day. Well done.

I took myself and my sister into town and thought we would treat ourselves with a coffee, after a moment of deliberation we settled on Starbucks. Apon arrival we were greated with staff who were clearly unhappy or unbotherd ( most likely a mix of both) When ordering we felt rushed as staff were snappy, rude and passive aggressive. Once we had paid we were told to " go wait over there then" and once there and went go collect our drinks were told again "that's not your order love.. Obviously". And when we had our order we had straws rudely thrown down into the counter infront of us wirh a grunt of discust. Promptly Leaving without as much of thank you

What can you say Starbucks is Starbucks..lovely mocha and the famous pumpkin spiced latte..visited on a Saturday so busy but staff coped well and tables relatively clean

My friend and I regularly have coffee after Zumba . We are often served by a lovely young lady named Cassie. Cassie is extremely efficient and friendly. We enjoy our coffee and the welcome given by Cassie!

....For the benefit of the young staff perhaps, but for my money the demographic were not enjoying the volume level, most of us only just wakening with the aid of caffeine! This is a soulless Starbucks that has a detached warehouse feel about it. Music should always be just in the background at a coffee chain, uncleared tables too. Woeful for the money.

Favourite place to go for a coffee or to just get some work done. Always very welcoming and very quick service. Would recommend!

This was a pretty miserable visit. The tables were dirty with crumbs and empty cups of previous customers, but at least they cleaned it up when I asked, although they were scowling the whole way through. The coffee was a brown, bland swill of tastelessness that I had to eat a Tic-Tac after it to make sure I hadn't lost my sense of taste. The friends I was with seem to have a almost fanatical devotion to Starbucks and I simply cannot understand why after this visit. The people who served me all looked like they hated their jobs and didn't want to be there. Waste of time and money. To be fair, though, Costa is just as bad.

I visit many coffee shops for meetings throughout Kent. This branch of Starbucks was very roomy and quite when I visited which is great for my use. Normal Starbucks range service quick.

Flat white was poor white coffee, service was by someone who did not want to be there, and the place was filthy. Waste of time and money

Really nice atmosphere and their drinks are always nice! The service is also quite quick so you don’t have to wait long! Would recommend

We popped in on a hot day for a refreshing drink and a sit down out of the sun for 10 mins. On entering it wasn’t particularly busy except for people leeching the power from the wall sockets. I ordered a Tea and a Caramel Frappuccino, to be told I couldn’t have a small as they didn’t have any small cups. I said, put it in a bigger cup then to which the nicely decorated girl behind the counter let out a big huff and wrote on the cup. After sorting this issue we went to sit down, and although as stated it was pretty empty, most of the tables were either little red with dirty cups or crumbs from previous customers. I had to ask the staff to wipe down a table, and she did just that. Brushed all of the crumbs onto either the chairs or the floor. Very bad service and what a dump. We will not return here.

We went to Starbucks on our holiday near Maidstone. We decided to go upstairs, because it was busy downstairs. I had a bad knee, so we had to use the lift, but it isn't a proper lift, it's just a platform, and you have to keep your finger on the button all the time. That's fine - but try doing that with a tray of hot drinks in your hand! Normally in a situation like that one of us could carry the tray, and the other press the button, but the trays are so ridiculously small that you can only get one plate and one drink on them - useless as we had ordered a toastie each, a cake each, and a hot drink each - so we had a tray each to deal with. We decided to sit by the window.. until we discovered that the view on the flat roof directly below us was that of a discarded shoe and the decaying corpse of a pigeon! So we then went to sit further into the room, which was fine until a child of about 9 or 10 started riding around us on her full size scooter whilst the adult with her was blissfully ignoring the situation. I ate my toastie, and although it tasted nice, there was so little filling in it that the last 2 bites were of plain toasted bread! At that point a group of about six or seven very loud young boys came in, and although a member of staff valiantly tried to tame them, they became loud again the second she went downstairs. At that point we had had enough. Costa for us in future!!

Nice big Starbucks with heaps of room to sit upstairs and not be interrupted

We went here for coffee and I was disappointed not to be able to use so,e vouchers for free coffee that I had as it is apparently a franchise. What difference this makes I have no idea Starbucks is Starbucks surely. The staff were polite but it was very annoying.

For me the most important is a polite service and clean place when I go to a coffee shop because I want to relax

I have recently mov d to the UK and have been using this Starbucks as my office away from home. Plenty of space and power points and the staff are always smiling and helpful. Big rushes around lunch and when school finishes.

if you are looking for a place to chill during working hours , break time this lace is good to go, staff are nice and polite. Coffee is good , also they can make you chocolate one or any flavours you want.

I was searching for somewhere where I could sit down, have a coffee, lunch and share my phone. I decided to walk into Starbucks. I don't usually go to Starbucks but thought i'd give it a go. All the staff are great. Special thanks to all the staff. They are efficient, organised, fast and very friendly. I was served by Charlotte. Who is very friendly and very efficient. Aleesha is also very friendly.

A big "Thank you!" To the lovely girls for they serve with a smile! Very helpful as well! My coffee definately had the best flavour! Will return for a short break with my friend!

The service is usually pretty decent and Charlotte is a real ray of sunshine who never fails to amuse and entertain.

This place is lovely built, plenty of space also the most importantly lovely and helpful staff! Which is what you always want to see, we come in very often to have a coffee or whatever floats our boat and always get a brilliant quick service and always with a smile!

Recently had a disappointing time at Victoria Station Starbucks with service, and a caramel cream frappe without the caramel, no name asked and no personality.... However today excellent friendly welcome by Charlotte and really put my faith back into Starbucks ! plus a fully loaded Caramel drink with my name spelt correctly X

There's plenty of space inside, with an open downstairs area plus upstairs, and also seating outside (where you run the risk of smokers - the same with any other cafe outdoors) but little warmth to the place.

Dived in here at lunchtime due to British summertime!

I love my starbucks but you expect the manager to know there stuff, i got a half filled latte with lots of frothy stuff. i explained what a latte is and she eventually after much complaint made me a new one, the general staff on the other hand are lovely and they make great coffee but if the managers on ask for someone else, and she wouldn't sell me toffee nut latte sauce even at christmas on my birthday. normally if they run out of the small bottles they will sell a large one if they have enough, she just said no we don't do that here. was so disappointing. its sad but i love starbucks, this one must be a franchise

The hit chocolate is like chocolate crack. I absolutely adore it. Staff are like my dealers, always hooking me up in my time of need.

Have been into this Starbucks a few times now as part of a fairly regular lunchtime regime with work colleagues.

I love Starbucks' coffee and food and the new Maidstone store doesn't disappoint but customer service needs attention. Always a huge line whenever I've visited (varied times of the day), slow service and baristas making mistakes with orders multiple times. On my last visit I asked for the new coconut milk latte and was told they couldn't do it, blankly and rudely. Fine, but a bit disappointing for a new addition to the menu. Tables take forever to be cleared and a lot of the time at least half the tables are messy with other people's leftovers for a long time.

A very nicely planned coffee shop with various seating areas including a first floor with window seats & a wi-fi board room style meeting room.

Love having this place so close to where I work, I can quickly pop in for a hot chocolate on my way to work and I won't be late. If there is a queue, it doesn't last long as the staff for so quick. It can be a little bit untidy but that's later on in the day, not first thing in the morning. Had a few of the hot sandwiches and they are amazing!

I love starbucks so I was excited about this store opening. However the store quite untidy. The service area is quite narrow. The toilets need more attention. Yet the food and coffee are as expected.

I popped in here in the week that it opened. It is a large and modern cafe with two floors and plenty of seating. I had the Pumpkin Spiced Latte and always love when this is back on the menu. I also tried one of their toasted sandwiches one lunchtime too.
