Lovely cafe with a good view if you sit upstairs. Not a large selection on menu but what there is is done well. A good size portion of food. Drinks were expensive if you want pop.

Ham and mustard sandwich good. Sat outside. Tea and latte. £10.05. Biscuit wit tea. Quick service. Polite service. Toilets upstairs. Everywhere looked clean. Man playing guitar outside. Few motor bikers parked nearby. Good for people watching. Parking a nightmare, unless you have got a disabled badge. 2 waitress's serving. Choose and pay first inside. Have been before, would go again. Seating upstairs also. Went on a bank holiday Monday New Year.

Seemed to be the only place open without smoke billowing from some early punter. Too much trouble for the ‘busy’ staff to take an order. I presume the place gets enough footfall not to be bothered about how it presents. Went down the road instead.

After visiting the local shops and Market stalls, it was time for a coffee, this was the nearest shop and the staff were quick to serve us. I couldn’t resist the carrot cake, it tasted as good as it looked. We sat on the ground floor, they have additional seating upstairs and outdoors on the Square which is a pedestrianised area in the centre of town.

Superb coffee, incredibly tasty fresh food and for a decent price. Their Eggs Benedict is some of the best I've had, and the café frappe is excellent. My fiancée is quite a fussy eater and requested a sauce removed from her panini - they sorted it with no issues. The staff are very friendly, the interior is lovely and the range of options is pretty impressive for a relatively small shop. Fantastic - really is a little gem of a place.

Myself , daughter and baby grandson visited here today after seeing it on interior design master with Alan carr. I wish we hadn’t bothered . Think they need Gordon Ramseys help more . Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich which came with chuckney but we asked for it on the side not the sandwich which they ignored so sent it back and BLT . The side salad on both were soaking wet so our sandwiches ( bread ) ended up soggy . Not nice at all . There was only a awful smell that we kept getting a waft now and then . Like something had died and rotted so that was off putting . In fact I’d go as far to say it’s probably one of the worst cafes I’ve visited.

Not a person who complains but this food was horrible. A friend and I ordered the mushroom soup and baked potato. I realise we should have complained on the day (2 days ago) and it has really been bothering me since. I've never had soup like this before. It had the consistency of soaked oats and was tasteless. It was like eating chopped up cardboard. When I mentioned it to my friend afterwards, she added that her baked potato wasn't cooked throughout. We often go there for coffee as we live locally but will not be ordering food again. Hopefully, the chef was just having a really, really bad day.

We called into here with our baby daughter for a drink during our visit to Hebden Bridge. Drinks were fine. Finished our drinks and get ready to leave and... no baby changing facilities?! Never come across this before... And it left us in a difficult situation really. Had we known we would have gone elsewhere that was family friendly. Lesson learnt for us, we will always check in future as I imagine places aren't obliged to provide such facilities... But come on!

We liked the simple fresh decor in this very busy and popular cafe. It is located in the town centre and is easy to find . We live locally and fancied a change for lunch so we thought we'd try this fairly new cafe on Hebden's main square. My daughter has been here before and said it was good. She was dead right. There is outside seating area but we went inside and sat upstairs. The decor is the usual white washed walls but to be honest I'm here to eat not for viual stimulation. What is is relevant is the whole place is spotlessly clean and the tables clear of debris. There is no table service so you order at the downstairs counter via a snazzy tablet. Nice touch. The server taking the order was friendly. I always test a new cafe with a veggie breakfast which gives me a good indication of what the kitchen can do. The meat free brekkie here is available all day and reasonably priced at six quid. My daughter went for the beans on toast for £3.50 and an orange juice for £1.80. I went for a large latte at £2.50. The drinks came promptly with the latte in a glass rather than a cup which I rather liked and with a kick unlike the chain coffee shops. The food also came in good time although in fairness the place wasn't rammed. Our food came at different times, but our server noticed, and offered us a drink as compension. We declined as the difference wasn't signifiicant but a good piece of customer service which was appreciated. The veggie breakfast proved to be a good choice with a fried egg, freshly cooked mushrooms, grilled tomotoes and tons of bean. All well coooked and decent quality fresh ingredients. The real test in a meat free brekkie are the sauauges which were beautfully done and not the cheap option you find in some places, Ths brekkie passed the test with flying colours esp as the toast was good quality bread. Across the table there was an even bigger portion of beans on top of the same good quality bread but white this time. So many beans my daughter couldn't finish them. Glad we changed our lunch habit as this is well run place - in a town full of cafes - that has a very solid food offer at decent prices. We'll be back.

We have visited here a couple of times recently and overall there are a lot of positives. The coffee is delicious as are the cakes. It also lovely to make use of their outdoor seating and look out onto the square. My only criticisms are that perhaps there needs to be better staffing during busy periods. The staff looked stressed today and seemed to be struggling to clear the tables which gave the place a sort of messy appearance. Compared to some of the other coffee shops in town, staff haven't been as friendly either- probably because of the aforementioned. Despite this, we do enjoy coming here and will be back.
