Nipped in for a quick lunch, we had coronation chicken and chicken tikka potatoes. Good portion size and reasonable price. Fairly busy but service was quick. Would go back

Hace una comida fácil, una buena relación calidad-precio, una buena comida sabrosa y hace un cambio de lo habitual. El personal era un poco más lento de lo habitual pero, ¿a qué viene la prisa?

Realmente buenas chaquetas, excelentes precios y muchas más películas para elegir, vale la pena ir y volveremos.

He visitado aquí a veces y estoy. Fan de Spudulike sin embargo, esta visita en particular fue bastante decepcionante. Me pareció que el personal era muy grosero y la comida mediocre. Mi papa estaba empapada en un aderezo que arruinó todo el asunto y el personal no hizo nada para rectificarlo. Me ha quitado la oportunidad de visitar este restaurante en particular, pero no otros restaurantes Spudulike.

Para cuando llegue allí son aproximadamente 4. 45 pm (sus detalles dicen que cierran a las 8 pm). En mi primera visita alrededor de esa época, no me quedaba ningún relleno de mayonesa de huevo, en mi próxima visita pedí pan de ajo; no quedaba nada, así que pedí un lado de ensalada de col. . . . . ¡No les quedaba nada! En mi última visita, no había nadie más en el restaurante, había un miembro del personal parado en la parte trasera del área de comida en su teléfono. Tenía que decirle "hola" para que se diera cuenta de que estaba allí, por supuesto, no se disculpa. . . . tenían todo en el frente de la comida pero no coca cola! ! Lamentablemente este no es uno de los mejores puntos de venta.

Called for a quick bite to eat whilst shopping in Newcastle. Baked potatoes were perfect. We had chicken tikka, chilli & tuna and sweet corn - all large portions and very tasty. Service was quick and staff friendly. Definitely worth a visit especially if you’re only looking for a quick pit stop for a bite to eat.

Came here the other week with a close friend after a long day at work. We were disappointed because of how much it has changed - not impressed. The portion sizes have seemed to ‘shrink’, we use to come here every week and got our money’s worth but not so much now. The menu prices have went up and also they took off the brasserie menu which was one of our favourites. Such a shame! A lot less people come here now we’ve realised as in the past we had to come back or wait 10 mins for a table. It was exciting while it lasted but we’re sad. The people are all fresh faces however we did recognise one familiar face Rose who was very nice to us as always. We may come again, until then.. we hope it doesn’t disappointed us again.

Myself , 3 friends came here on a very busy Saturday afternoon and opted for the classic cheese and beans, coronation chicken and chicken and bacon club! with a side salad and fresh apple juice - was yummy! We were there for some time, and noticed how extremely kind the staff where! They was constantly asking if the food was ok then if we needed anything else I asked 1 of the waitress for their names to write a review an as promised, thank you soo much to Dan, Prachi, Andrew and Rosey for making it worth while and we shall hopefully see you again some time!

Mi hermano y yo viajamos desde Coventry a Newcastle por unos días para ver a la familia y decidimos ir a la ciudad antes de irnos.Spudulike no era la primera opción que teníamos en mente, pero decidimos intentarlo. . . Fuimos recibidos por una camarera Rosey en la caja registradora que fue súper amable y amable con nosotros, ella nos dio algunas recomendaciones sobre qué comprar. Decidí ir por el pollo César aplastado y cubierto mientras mi hermano pidió el pollo Tikka, la comida era cálida y la servían muy bien.¡Entonces decidimos tomar una bebida caliente con la delicia danés y fue muy sabroso!Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar para un servicio rápido y amable y estilo! Gracias de nuevo al personal y a Rosey por chequearnos y hacernos sentir cómodos hablando de nuestro día y de regreso.¡Espero ver las mismas caras la próxima vez que lleguemos al noreste!¡Gracias de nuevo!

Called here for lunch as eating healthy and had baked potato with cottage cheese it was lovely and plenty of filling In even ate the skin will be back the staff were lovely and friendly

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. It was a random decision never having eaten here before. The menu was varied and, as you would expect, primarily based on baked potatoes. You find a table and order at the counter with food being collected or delivered to your table. We found the prices and service both excellent. However, the highlight was the attention to customers being given by one of the floor staff "Natalie". She never stopped going around ensuring everything was as it should be and seeing to everyone's needs. All this with a smile and a little bit of chatter. Thank you Natalie you made our visit that litttle bit special.

My daughter and I came over late Monday evening and got one with coronation chicken and one crushed feta! It was absolutely refreshing and delightful!

Went for food today for the first time,took my great granddaughter and was very happy with the service we had,Natalie served our table she was excellent in all and beyond what you would expect,she spoke to us and our great granddaughter making us feel really welcome,exceptional service and staff thanks for a great experience Natalie

First time here and ate a meal deal of jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw + garlic bread and soft drink for just £6.99. The food was good and the staff nice. Will return.

Yum yum scrum scrum. Just love these spuds - always big with loads of yummy filling. There’s not much more to say!

Apart from the lovely and healthy food, we were blown away by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, especially Natalie. As a hotelier I was very impressed by her attitude towards her job and to the customers, it was as if I was dining in a 5 Star Restaurant in Dubai! Wish we can have more dedicated people like her in the hospitality industry.

Visited here last Friday with my mum and little boy. We were made to feel very welcome by Natalie (I think that’s her name!). She got my little boy a highchair and some books and interacted with him really well, and told us all about her little girl. She was lovely to all of the other customers too :)

A pleasant alternative to many other fast food options. A reasonably good number of options, potato toppings and meal deals, to choose from. Slightly on the expensive side but probably reflective of the location. Restaurant spotlessly clean, staff friendly and efficient, food tasty and plentiful but only average overall. Convenient for something quick and simple, lunch or snack, but wouldn’t ordinarily be my first choice.

Chilli con carne- there was very littlle if any mince, full of kidney beans to make it look like plenty of filling chilli con carne. Service was poor too.

Visited with my sister and my son, they had the chicken tikka filling and I had the coronation chicken which were delicious. Very tasty, lovely "proper" baked potatoes - nice, crispy skin and lovely and fluffy inside, unlike many places where it feels like mashed potato! The only small negative I would mention is the fact that a salad would be a welcome addition to the meal. Apart from that excellent food, attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

I got a Jacket and a drink and that come to £8.49 the meal was nice but its overpriced for what it is. However the staff did seem nice and look after you well

We were searching for a place for a quick bite at Lunch and stumbled across this little gem, although the restaurant was quite busy we easily found a comfortable seat and were looked after so well by the staff, so warm and you actually felt like they genuinely were being nice not 'put on' as in other restaurants. Baked Potatoes were delicious and we left nice and filled up, unexpected find will be back

Spudulike takes me back to my youth in the 1990s-an era when the customer was still always right.

Spud-u-dislike. Comprehensive assault on the wallet. I firmly believe that a baked potato is bound by law to be attached to some sort of cheese based article. But oh no, £1.10 for cheese! That's half a block at the supermarket! The resulting cheerless, cheeseless potato was the driest thick skinned thug I'd ever fought with.

New location in Eldon Sq, just on the edge of the Grey's Quarter (new eating area) great little place for a quick meal

Cute little place, reasonable amount of seating, good price for a filling lunch, good jacket potatoes cooked well. I had butter and beans on mine and it didn't disappoint. Not many filling choices, but that's ok as the traditional ones are on offer - cheese, beans, coleslaw, chilli.

New shop open in new part of eldon square. Place is spotless. Cramped space but staff will move furniture and chairs for wheelchair or prams. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Will do children portions.

The premises have moved since our last visit and had a make over. The premises look like a trendy restaurant. Nice decor they have got rid off plastic cutlery and gone up market. We had 2 baked potatoes one with prawns which were excellent and a good size. Staff very friendly and carried food to our table. Plenty of high chairs for kids and we will certainly be back. Highly recommended for quick lunch which is great value.

Been to Spudulike many times the baked potatoes are the best around loads of choices of filling and plenty of it freindly staff great for a quick tasty bite whilst shopping

My wife has a restricted diet due to health concerns. We found SpuduLike in Eldon Square Newcastle. I can honestly say i was so surprised with how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Compared to other SpuduLike restaurants we have visited elsewhere this took the customer experience to another level. For the price we paid being a healthy fast food venue i was surprised that the staff were actively approaching the customers to ask if we were enjoy our food. They were welcoming customers at the door and kept the tables clean and clear or trays.
