This place is a dessert lover's dream. I tried the lemon tart, and it was absolutely delicious—zesty, smooth, and with the perfect crumbly crust. The parlor has a charming vibe, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a treat after a day of exploring Brighton.

Delivery Food turned up (or at least some if it) No ice cream - no whipped cream No kiwi (£1) extra Bottle of coke £3.50 (was a can of coke) And to top it off had a hair in my food The classic hair, but just taking liberties.

Do not visit - Very poor hygiene. Just witnessed a member of staff take a spoon and eat some of the ice cream in the tubs behind the counter. Then put the spoon back in and eat another spoonful. Disgusting.

AWFUL customer service… the rudeness from the cleaner (Ola/or Olga) when we sat down at a booth that was cleaned she was so rude to us as said the chairs at wet and raised her tone. We told another staff member who just went and hugged the cleaner and talked about us the whole time. Never have I been out to eat and been spoken to like that. There was a guy worker who was kind to us though that changed the waffle as it was overcooked and cold. I placed a complaint on Sprinkles in September regarding this, they have said it’s been passed to Portswood store manager.. I’ve had NO REPLY! Would I recommend this place… ABSOLUTELY NOT … Go to another sprinkles that have good customer service.

I’m hoping the boss reads this and takes note. In school holidays and at 3pm please don’t let teenager staff/ family member put music on… lyrics with F##k her good on repeat is not acceptable!!! The girl was rude to my husband when he politely asked for the music to be changed, not only was the girl rude to him but decided to stand next to the counter and glare at us while we finished our food. What a sad way to treat a family knowing they came in celebrating their daughters birthday 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

What a great selection of real ice cream. From Cherry to salted caramel to Jaffa cake to Brownie and these are just the ones we had. The service was a little slow but very generous portion sizes. Will certainly return.

It was a delivery to cheer my daughter at Uni ( I am in London) - Khalima was super star- I rang after placing the order and she packaged the gelato beautifully and had it delivered super fast - never had such exceptional service ever for Uber delivery - thank you --- if I could give more than 5**** on this occasion I would have - a credit to portswood , Southampton , sprinkler . - thank you

Everytime we order from sprinkles the wrong order turns up or we don’t even receive it!! It’s really disappointing and we have given it so many chances now and we certainly won’t be revisiting

This is the 6th time I have had a bad experience with Sprinkles. How hard can it be to get a crepe order right?! There’s always something…

Good dessert. Strawberry jar and brownie gelato in a cone are the best. They have takeaway options as well.

Many of the gelatos were missing their labels making choice difficult. One ice cream was presented but the other one was the wrong flavour. My husband pointed out that the wrong flavour had been served. The staff member looked visibly irritated and made no apology. He did replace the icecream to the correct flavour but served a very small amount. We supported the Sprinkles Gelato since it opened but standards have fallen. The prices have risen very considerably. The presentation of the icecream is messy with labels missing and the service falls far short of professional standards. Don't think we shall return.

Lazy and rude… waiting a lot even though it was not that busy … shocking… awful and disgusting… avoid it!

Sprinkles choc chip cookie dough is outrageously good!! So is their ice-cream and milkshakes. We’ve been to sprinkles numerous times now and have never disliked the food or been disappointed. Staff are not the friendliest. The place needs a real makeover and a good scrub. Would still recommend but would advise getting a takeout!

My grandkids used to love this vefire covid. I took them during half term. Huge queue as servers were outside having breaks !! Took 35 minutes then waited 20 minutes for it to be brought to us ! Then they said ran out of vanilla icecream and offered no replacement but charged full price !! Waffle. we havent got any of the ice cream !!!!! Then the coffee icecream was dreadful. Nothing lije it used to be and nothing like coffee! The cream was not cream. They always were very good with portions and syrup. Not any more. They dripped on the maple syrup The cream was asdas cheap and nasty spray white stuff I am disgusted. It was so expensive i could have cried WILL NEVER EVER GO NEAR THEM Again !!! Stick to macdonalds. Their ice cream far better and their milkshake’s are 100% better!!!!!

Portswood restaurant. Ordered three desserts and three hot drinks. Desserts took around 25 minutes. No sign of our drinks. Chased and told they were just coming. Waited a further 25 minutes... Chased 2 more times.... Eventually arrived one drink at a time.. 5 minutes apart.. To top it all, the coffee was way too hot and tasted horrible

It took 30 mins to get our order, and they gave me the WRONG ICE CREAM! And the crepe was like cardboard. Absolute balderdash!

for our daughters 8th birthday. The place was practically empty of customers, although there were an awful lot of staff members on shift. We sat down at a table and my husband went up to order. Our drinks started to arrive (slowly and one at a time) and then the kids ice creams, again one at a time. A girl then came over to our table and informed us that the crepe machine was being cleaned. So we asked how long this process took. She told us 10 minutes so we said we were happy to wait. My husband had ordered a waffle and requested that they bring both my crepe and his waffle at the same time. Our kids had finished their ice cream and we were still sat waiting for our deserts to come. There was an awful lot of cleaning going on (which I’m certainly not complaining about) but not a lot of action in the making of our deserts. Eventually after at least 30 - 40 minutes a lady did bring over our food, she apologised for the wait. Needless to say our kids were finished and getting bored and restless, so we threw our food down and left. While I don’t expect a red carpet arrival, it would have been nice to have been given a bit of service with a smile or some form of communication from your team. We have eaten in this establishment many times before and it’s never been this bad. I would go as far to say that the cutlery was more helpful than the people working! I had been planning on bringing a large party of 8 year olds in a limo as part of our daughters birthday party, but thankfully I changed my plans… as if this is what the people of Southampton and surrounding areas can expect, it’s no wonder they were so quiet on a bank holiday Monday. We spent £46 with you and the whole experience was painful and total let down for our daughter who usually loves a sprinkles treat. It might be worth letting your team know that had we been the mystery shoppers, they would have been in big trouble with head office for such an appalling experience. A lovely clean kitchen / work space needs to go hand in hand with the service and experience your customers deserve and are paying for.

Me and a friend went tonight and we had the best time, the staff on shift were energetic, friendly and had a real love for the job, as a team they mucked in and everything ran smoothly! The deserts we had were delicious and made so quickly too. We were served by a combination of Andre, Kholima, Alex and Bhavana and as a work team they came across as professional, friendly and fun, we’ve been to a lot of sprinkles shops in the past few years and honestly this was our favourite experience, to see a staff team that have a genuine love for the job and good relationships with each other was so refreshing to see, thank you again to the team, we will be back soon!

Good ice creams but the portions are tiny, especially when it comes to the waffle! So if you go try their ice cream it’s fabulous! Furthermore the waffle for its size is overpriced!

Tonight we turned up to sprinkles for my special birthday. My daughter had booked as there was eight of us going. Once we had waited a good quarter of an hour in the line to be served(one person serving 8pm on a busy Friday night)...

I orderd for delivery and only received 1 of my items. I rang portwood who said very rudely that is not there fault nothing they could do. I was out of pocket well over 15 quid and only 1 desert. There attitudes stink. Just glad I wasnt in the shop as they were very gobby.

23/12/19 visited as a birthday treat for my son. Every table was absolutely filthy, chairs were filthy. So bad we left and went for a McFlurry instead with a very disappointed 11year old.

We had just had a wonderful Indian meal at the Kohinoor of Kerala and Sprinkles is just a few doors away so we opted for a gelato pud. The choice of ice cream is unbelievable plus waffles and the quality is excellent too.

After the abysmal failed birthday treat for my grandson at Songbird, Bitterne Triangle, we were persuaded by the grandchildren that Sprinkles does fantastic desserts, which they did. At lunchtime, Saturday, We had a selection of desserts, starting with a massive plate of waffles, worth every penny of the £7.50 as absolutely loaded up with sweet treats and an automatic ice cream on the side.The Sweet Art, a massive selection of treats and ice cream in a jar could not be finished. Love You To bits, the waffle with a different selection of treats and ice cream side and, finally, my little jar of granola and fruit in a plain yoghurt. J2O, cheap at £1.95 and iced tea (price unknown) and the bill came in at £31. A massive amount of treats for our special occasion.We will visit again

Great Gelato with good waffles and very good coffee. They can perhaps improve on their staff training a little bit. This branch of this brand is my first choice with kids for a treat!

The selection of ice cream was good and I really enjoyed my double espresso. I have hazelnut and dark hazelnut ice cream. Excellent is all I can say, as were the chocolate flakes.

I went here and had an ice cream in a tub and there was a hair inside and it has put me off. I don’t think the place is clean and won’t go there again. I told the employees there was a hair and they just offered me another one to take away. I did not get my money back and am very upset.

If you want to indulge in sweet treats then this is the place for you. Many flavours of ice cream and also you can buy waffles and pancakes too. Nice as a one off treat every so often.

Late night crepes, delicious! Went in around 21:30, service was quick and sweet treats gorgeous. One of my favourite spots as there is easy car parking behind the building.

Great deserts, load's of choice. I wasn't really a desert person before I discovered Sprinkles, but now its just standard to visit for a hot cookie dough with vanilla ice-cream when i am in the area !

We popped into Sprinkles after lunch in another restaurant in Above Bar Street as the desserts on the lunch menu where we dined did not inspire. It turned out to be an excellent idea, as Sprinkles are something of a specialist when it comes to desserts.

This is a family favourite of ours for many years now! We actually live in Winchester so make an effort to travel to Sprinkles. We are a family of 5 grown ups now, but this place brings out the child in all of us. The ice cream is beautifully presented as you walk in. There are so many flavours, they will let you try small sample spoons. You can build your own cone or tub or there is a menu full of sundaes, waffles, pancakes,etc.

Popped in for some dessert but may have left with a lot more. Wasn’t very busy but nearly every table was left in an awful state and I can’t even talk about the male toilets. Plenty of staff seem to be on shift but absolutely no one is cleaning. May need my vaccinations done

This is an amazing place. The menu is so varied and yet it is mostly desserts. Ice cream with crepes, waffles, cookie dough etc even ice cream in soft drinks. I chose fruit and crumble in hot custard and it was delicious!

Went in sprinkles for some ice cream even though there was a large selection for only £2. The staff were vert friendly espically Sam and Daniel whom had great customer service

The menu is wide ranging and has lots of treats and options that would cater to lots of people. The waffle my friend had and the cookie dough I had were fantastic and the gelato was of good quality. The real disappointment was the smoothie. I had assumed they used fresh fruit but it is clear from the taste that they just used flavoured syrups - a real disappointment considering the food we had was brilliant!

A vast choice of desserts to try and all expenses catered obviously budget dependent. I could probably eat here all day but waistline would most definitely suffer!

This place is definitely a special treat in my opinion because for what it is I think it is very expensive especially for just an ice-cream. Having been twice now also the ice-cream flavours are very hot and miss, some are out of the world and others are just bland and boring. The Bounty flavour for example was really disappointing but the salted peanut was delicious. Staff were friendly and nice though and we had a good time.

Come here after a long day and just had to write this review! Me and my boyfriend come here for some desert only expecting small potions for the price we paid, I was overwhelmed by the amount they gave us! The ice cream was outstanding. The staff were very kind and told us about the student discount. Definitely coming again!

I am visiting from Ireland and decided to take my nieces, aged 1 and 2, along with other family members for a treat! We arrived at the store, went to place an order and half the stuff we wanted we were told we couldn’t have as you didn’t have it at the time. The menu is MASSIVE I’m not surprised! My 2 year old niece then wanted to go to the bathroom and to our disgust the bathroom was horrendous! Dirty and flies were surrounding the toilet seat and beneath the toilet seat was covered in brown gunk. Our orders arrived at different times so we couldn’t all eat together, and after the toilet situation none of us had an appetite! The ‘ice cream’ was just milk, the cookie dough tasted shop bought and the waffle was like cardboard. The dishes were dirty I was almost sick when I seen the glass that came with my drink. We tried to talk to the staff about it but they didn’t want to know and wouldn’t get us a manager to speak to. I am appalled by the service we received and the store as a whole.

El precio estaba bien, y las dos cosas que pedimos no nosotros defraudaron en absoluto (lo mío, aparece en la foto, fue un New Affogato, basado en helado de vainilla, café italiano, crema y azúcar glasé a gusto). Los asientos son cómodos, y tienen una carta súper variada y a veces hasta rara, tienen floatings o algo similar, que consiste en helado con una soft drink (no lo pedimos pero parecía rico!).

Went recently just for morning coffee but be very careful as you will be tempted by the ice cream selection. Very nice coffee by very friendly young people. A pleasure experience.

After being to Creams in the North East we tried Sprinkles....upon entering, the decor was a bit run down and didn't see any staff...I helped myself to the menu and sat down with my wife (looking around I did see a board saying to do that) would have been nice to be greeted and told.. The menu was ok we were going to try the waffles as that is what we fancied...so didnt really look at anything else...Banana is with pretty much everything!

The dessert diner staff are very friendly and it is very well suited for a family with children as they get all of the delicious sweetness they desire.

There's places like this popping up everywhere but this is the first one I've been to that actually has gelato! (Most of them are just standard ice cream even if they have gelato in the name)

We stumbled across this shop during a week-end visit to Southampton. As an Italian, I recognised good ice-cream. We had 4 in two days... great quality and variety. Gorgeous ice cream and friendly service!

Sprinkles has been one of the ultimate places to grab some a couple of scoops of icecream or just demolish 2 waffles with plenty of ice cream and a surplus of sauces. With a large variety of ice-creams and full on desserts available from their extensive menu. This is the busiest ice-cream parlour I go in.

Love going here, have some awesome flavours of ice cream and so many to choose from, spoilt for choice, would recommend a visit, just a shame I'm on a diet now!

Really disappointing visit!! Especially when the only treat that you have been craving for weeks is the only item not available because someone forgot to order the right amount of stock!! This happened last time. It’s the only item I enjoy. Why would I waste my time coming back again. Well I am certainly not coming back to be disappointed a third time!! Shame as this used to be the original and best franchise.

Very good place. You have a plenty of choices regarding ice creams and desserts. Very delicious flavors, quite expensive but it worths.

I imagine that in heaven, this is the kind of place you could go to for pudding every day. The menu is super exciting for sweet lovers. My husband watched me gorging with horror as he sipped a double espresso.

Sprinkles offers the best dessert in Southampton but in my opinion, is over priced on a lot of items. Easily could spend over 50 pounds on dessert for the family. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and you cant go wrong! A great place to go for a special occasion or date night.

Haven't been here for a while , but thought it would make a nice half term treat . Rolled up about 7.45pm. Ordered and paid then told that they had ran out of crepe mixture !.

Innanzitutto trovare un cappuccino che sa di cappuccino non è un cosa scontata fuori dall'italia, quindi già per questo questo posto mi piace (a parte il prezzo ovviamente elevato). Ho assaggiato un waffle con fette di banana, granella di nocciola, crema di cioccolato al latte e bianco e brownie spezzettato con gelato alla vaniglia nel piatto ed era veramente buono. Il prezzo non è contenuto, costava quasi 6 sterline, ma considerando che può sostituire un pranzo per quanto riempie non è così tanto male. Devo assolutamente tornare per provare il gelato e gli altri dolci sul menu

Went to sprinkles today as have been before and knew what to expect, the food here is delicious especially the cookie dough. It is never packed out in here so there is no need to book ahead and the service is fast so you can have a quick snack and then move on with your day. The selection was fantastic and had something for everyone to enjoy. The toilets were actually in a state though and smelt awful, there was wee all over the floor and it was just not as clean and as tidy as should be expected. There were also a few customers who were very loud and disruptive towards myself and other customers and I wish they had been dealt with slightly better as they seemed to intimidate a couple of young girls. Overall it is a nice and relatively affordable place to have a sweet snack!

My daughter and I visited after a theatre trip (pre birthday treats for us both, her 18th, my,..... Yeah, just leave it at "birthday".... There were just SO MANY choices. When we go anywhere like this, my daughter and I always have different flavours, and share... Thus we get to try twice as many flavours! When we visit Crave In Ventnor, Isle of Wight, we can choise the flaovurs of Icecream for a sundae. In Sprinkles the Sundaes are set flavours. We sent for one of the Chocolate varities and the Exotic.

We went into sprinkles and paid using our US credit card. The payment went through and my son began to eat his ice cream. The manager then said that they do not take cards without chip and pin which American credit cards do not have. He then said he would need to refund our card and we would need to pay cash. We did not have enough cash to pay for all our order so we canceled it and tried to give back the ice cream. The lady on the till said since my son had begun eating the ice cream we could take it and we left. A couple of minutes later the manager came running down the street and said loudly that we had taken ice cream and not paid for it. It was very embarrassing to be chased down the street and accused of steeling an ice cream that we had been told to take and had paid for but then been forced to have a refund on our card. Generally a bit of a strange experience but not one I would be in a hurry to repeat!

Absolutely fantastic! Great selection of gelato and other treats! I always go for snickers and it never disappoints! Also great place for getting a bit of silence from the kids😁😁

They have decided to reduce their portions considerably! I always get cones with a scope for my little girls, one is 2 and the other 4, to our surprise the ice cream was flush with the cone! Completely flat when we mentioned that, we were told that it's a new portion policy and that's how it is now... To add to the disappointment I was not told that my ice cream was going to be a 20min wait so the girls had their ice cream in 5 mins and then we sat waiting for mine.. ruined my father's day

Been renovated since I last came. Nice flavours of ice cream here. Lots of seating. Could do with more outside seating especially for when it's warm and you want to sit outside. Wouldn't come here alot because it's not cheap to have the ice cream here. Nice treat every so often though.

I have been coming to this sprinkles since they opened a few years ago . It's still the best out of all the stores and puts others to shame .

This is my 5th visit to Sprinkles in the last couple of years. Love the environment and menu of this place.

A great place for extremely sweet food! Great selection and excellent ice cream. I haven't been able to finish a dish yet, because they are too sweet for me (but that is probably personal preference). On a negative, on both occasions that I have been in the last month, the service wasn't great, e.g. we were four people, and three of our dishes were served quickly, but the fourth one took so long that we were already finished when it was served; the server didn't know the menu very well; the order was wrong (whipped cream on the side when we had ordered ice cream).

We visited Sprinkles Gelato for pudding and it was delicious! There were so many different flavours that it was hard to choose. We each ordered a cup of three scoops and chose our own flavours. I recommend you try the Kit Kat, pink bubblegum and Kinder. You can also add toppings (cream, sprinkles, chocolates etc...) but it costs a little more. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. The Gelato was quite pricey but definitely worth it. It was the best Gelato I've had in a while.

Make sure you have time to study the menu. Hard decision as so much choice. Wasn't very busy so got serviced quickly. Staff could be a little more friendly and happy to help!

stopped for an afternoon snack and ordered a strawberry crepe with coconut gelato. Simply delicious. The strawberries were fresh and full of flavor. I had my choice of whipped cream or gelato. It was delicious and the flavors blended beautifully. I also had an Americano that was hot and perfect. The menu is extensive and offers a large variety.

I love Sprinkles for the choice of Gelato and especially because you can get a sundae on a waffle. Really good waffles and gelato. Service could be better, but overall really good.

A really great fun family friendly place, I don't actually like ice cream, cakes, sweet things - more of a savoury person...BUT this place reminds me of my youth, it's carefree, doesn't matter if you get ice cream everywhere. Has an awesome variety of vines/flavours/toppings for your choice, but if overwhelmed a great menu to suggest ideas.

Having not been over impressed last time thought we would try again. Had cherry icecream sundae it was ok nothing special. Really can not understand the fuss about this place will not return

Always come here for ice cream, loads of parking at the rear of the shop and the staff are always friendly, ice cream is superb.

I always enjoy visiting Sprinkles every time . I was pleasantly surprised the staff were bit friendly and met my needs i can't icecream or cream so I had the fruit pancake without the icecream & cream but the white chocolate was lush!! Still enjoyable & very filling . The tea was lovely . The only thing I table was dirty we had clear it ourselves but one the clearers kindly wiped our table . It's place I always go back too :) X thanks

Visited here on a first date. Very small little cafe type establishment on a busy high street and a bit of a queue outside which I always see as a good sign. Lots of students eating here as it is very popular in this area and good value for money.

Went for one of the best crepes in town- milk chocolate with banana and strawberry! So good! As always, it was so nice!

There are so many cafes and ice-cream parlours in Portswood High Street that you are really spoilt for choice. However although Sprinkles is okay, there are much better ones in the same street - Gelato and Aroma are much better for ice-cream and coffee. And Kate's cafe is much better for coffee and home-made cakes. There is even a cafe specialising in Asian desserts.

I went to this sprinkles few time as first is free parking near it , spacious , all my Orders came always right never let down , staff very friendly , i went there with family and friends and there is a lot of choice for al of us , highly recommended

I'm not a massive fan of dessert food etc but I really enjoy going to sprinkles as there is a very wide range of ice cream to choose from. Highly recommend going here if you haven't already. Also...try the schnapple drink...you will not be disappointed...
