Average ice creams, stale cones and terrible service. The two staff on duty couldn’t have been less interested. No surprise there was only one other table filled on a Saturday afternoon.

Ice cream had ice crystals in it and the taste was very poor

I placed a £30.70 order through Deliveroo which he cancelled, when I tried again i received a call from the owner. He explained to me that somebody from Deliveroo had taken my order and failed to deliver it so he cancelled my order. I tried to order again and he said he wasn’t going to take the order and that I should take it up with Deliveroo. What a terrible way to do business. He said it’s ok because I’ll get my money back, which will take like a week to be refunded. Never will I support this business again

The food was amazing but the customer service was awful the guy that was serving us just looked like he didn’t want to be there and didn’t even greet us with a hello. When we asked for some extra cutlery it was just chucked on our table with no regards to kind service . Expected more from a place that used to be great !!

The service was absolutely horrible. We went today (12/9/24) and whoever did the rota for that day was horrible, the woman that was serving us was by herself, and usually i’m very calm and understanding with customer service as I also work in customer service, however I have also been alone on a shift and I have NEVER EVER been so rude to customers, no matter my mood. I was being respectful and very patient and I was met with 0 respect as a customer. She also did not look as though she was in a rush, we saw a group of 5 people coming in and it must have taken them about 15 minutes to be recognised by her bearing in mind she was kind of wandering around not doing much and if she was doing something it would take her an extremely long time. As for the food, it was fine, nothing very special, however when eating some ice cream, i found something blue in it? i’m assuming it’s a different flavour of ice cream but that shows that they aren’t cleaning the scoops that they are using. We also saw the server take the waffle out with her bare hands, no gloves or anything and i definitely hadn’t seen her wash her hands within the last 5-10 minutes. Would absolutely not recommend this place EVER.

Waffles and cookies dough with ice cream was amazing!

It was ice cream. Took forever to compile four sundaes, one arrived ok but the other three some time after, to the point that it had taken so long to arrive that two of the three almost identified as milkshakes! Had to ask for serviettes and was begrudgingly given four which were physically counted out on the counter. You would have expected that after spending £40 on ice creams they would have at least come with a serviette or two, especially as there was as much ice cream on the outside of the glasses and on the table as there was in the glasses! No noticeable air-con, place was hot and sticky (much like the tables) which you’d think was strange considering they deal in frozen food stuffs. Watch out for the mat on the way in, it overhangs the step and catches your foot… I speak from experience as I went flying. If I hadn’t followed someone in I probably would’ve crashed through the door. Certainly wouldn’t bother going there again.

Do not go here. The food is not that good the service is horrible. Me and my friends (teenagers) went after school for a nice treat and were met with attitude. The lady got several orders wrong and insisted that we were lying and deliberately changed our orders. At first she refused to redo the order correctly but finally agreed after another customer stood up for us. The way she spoke to us was unacceptable saying such things as, “Roll the tapes” and “You are lying I know what you said”. She also rolled her eyes continuously and huffed and puffed at us. Won’t be coming back anytime soon! #kreams4life

Disappointing. Numerous people (including ourselves) stood for ages waiting to be served while 3 people behind counter either stand there or busy themselves with other tasks without acknowledging your presence. When they do finally come to serve you there is no Apology. Ordered a set of dishes for my family. Payed extra for mine as the menu promised Reese’s cups. These got forgotten about and so I paid more for nothing. The flat white I ordered never arrived. After another lengthy wait at the counter they made one up for me with no apology. When it arrived it was the largest flat white I’ve ever had….

I haven't eaten better ice cream for everyone, on site or to take away, in a waffle, cup, cup or jar, milk, fruit or sorbet.

A great selection of ice creams, but that's about it for gluten free options. Slightly worrying that I had to explain to the staff what is meant by "gluten free", and there seemed to be no understand of the concept of cross contamination. The place has a slightly run down feel to it too, giving the feel of a kebab house at 2am on a Saturday morning. The food finally arrived for my partner, after being served to another customer. Probably won't be coming back.

Can the staff go at anything other than an absolute snail's pace? I went in today, waited about 10 minutes and just left because the only person doing ice cream was STILL serving the same customer after all that time. It was a hot, sunny Sunday and the place was DEAD. Now I know why, I expect they all gave up and went elsewhere too. I'll be staggered if this place is still in business this time next year.

What's not to love about delicious treats and a variety of options? Sometimes takes a while to come out but always well presented. Good for celebrations or an after dinner treat if the pudding menu at your restaurant doesn't inspire !!

My first time here, and i had a great experience!There is loads of different ice cream flavours you can choose from. Spacious and clean place. I had a waffle with biscoff sauce and icecream, and my friend a cookie dough. My waffle was really nice and so was the biscoff icecream. The service Miriam provided us, was outstanding, she was so attentive and approachable. She made sure everything was up to standard, and even came to the table to reassure us if we had any issues we could speak with her. She was so lovely and so was the ice cream she made :)

I recently had my first waffle experience at Sprinkles and was thoroughly impressed. The waffle itself was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The rich milk chocolate and fresh strawberries complemented each other beautifully. Plus, the shop has a cozy vibe that makes it a great place to relax.

Practically lived here during my four years at uni 😂 Which, granted, wasn't great from a health perspective but goes to show how good the food is. It's just a sweet tooth's paradise. They did reduce the menu at one point which was a shame, but still loads of great options. My favourite is the sticky situation, which is kinda awkward to order lol, but well worth it 😍 Still prefer it to Creams which now seems to be cropping up everywhere. Team Sprinkles!

I want to share my experience tonight with this place when i went to buy a piece of cake for my little daughter i ordered the one on display that was delicious , and the Indian lady was working there she gave me the old cake that was frozen i could tell it was keep it in the freezer, because the taste wasn’t good as i expected also she just pick it up with her finger with out using any gloves or protection who knows what is on her hand or the bacteria, the time was between 21:30 to 21:40 i hope the manger take a look of cctv and don’t let this kind of people work in a such place like that

Came here with my son. The pancake wasn’t warm enough so I asked for it to be warned up. They refused. I asked for my money back they refused. Customer care very very bad. Will not be coming back and would warn anyone to stay clear. £9.50 really not worth it. I’m very angry

This place was nice 8/9 years ago. Now there are many new places with much better food, service, decor and cleanliness.

It was half term so we decided to have some waffles. The service was great and the waffles even better.

First time visit. Positive experience. Clean, but understaffed, and on the pricey side, the food was delicious and plentiful. It's a nice place to go for a treat, or for dessert (or if you didn't like the look of the desserts in the last place!!)

A lovely ending to a great day in Brighton! Super helpful service and customising the toppings on my son’s cookie dough was no trouble. Thoughtfully presented food (ice cream served separately from the hot cookie dough was genius!) served quickly on a Friday evening, despite only one member of staff on shift. The mint choc chip shake transported me back to my childhood and my son said the cookie dough was the best he had ever had. A takeaway box was also no problem at all when my son found the portion sizes too generous. Excited to come back next time we visit!

The manager in brighton sprinkles gelato, a bald, short guy is the rudest, uncivilized and worst personality I've ever met. The way he treats the people who are looking for part-time job is ridiculous. This kind of people should not do hiring in any kind of organisation.

If you have a sweet tooth, then Sprinkles Gelato will satisfy your sugary desires. I tried the Brownie Heaven waffle, which comes with sliced banana, brownie crumble, smothered in delicous chocolate sauce! Yum! You have an option to pair this with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (£9.50). To wash the sweetness down, I ordered a flat white (£2.50). The coffee was faultless. While the food is easily 4/5 stars, I felt it only appropriate to award 3 stars due to the underwhelming service. While the service wasn't "bad," I couldn't help but feel that more effort on the part of the staff is needed to make this establishment feel more welcoming. It's the small things that make a difference. Greet patrons with a warm smile; perhaps make some recommendations if they're unsure what they want; make a little small talk? It's not that difficult to do. A little kindness goes a long way.

We walked past this desert place, and politely asked if there was wheelchair access. We were told quite bluntly “I don’t know what a ramp is” when explained to him, there was no ramp for the 6 stairs and no other alternative access. We were offered to have our ice cream outside in the rain as they couldn’t facilitate a wheelchair in the building. He did offer to pick up the 200kg Powerchair, without the use in it- as this isn’t possible we had to walk away, with no apology.

Fantastic gelato selection and waffles etc. Customer service was excellent and the service was excellent have to hand to the manager and the team excellent job ladies and gentlemen of sprinkles. 100/100 full marks from me and the wife. Thank you for your hospitality. : )

The venue is spacious and comfortable and they have a good range of ice creams and desserts. Gelato is lovely and waffles are good. However there are not enough staff and delays in orders being made also tables are not cleaned and the toilets are dirty with no running water in the ladies. The waiter at the front is miserable and unwelcoming he probably is tired out. You do not feel valued as a customer in this establishment and no one cleaned our tables or picked up cutlery when were finished I was most disappointed as there isnt another venue like this in this part of Brighton and really they could do so much better at customer service!
