We wanted a handy place to meet up so chose THE Noshery for the first time. Hopefully, we'll do this again in the near future because the food was lovely and well presented and the staff were efficient and friendly. Five stars all round.

I brought my mother here whilst shopping at Springfields. Nice wide area for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and lots of seating available here. Please don’t get me wrong, the food was really really nice, delicious and hot and fresh, but the reasons for the three stars is because the prices for certain foods were ridiculously high. My mother and I substituted our crisps with our southern fried chicken wraps and it cost almost £3 for it. I can understand £1.50 something like that but £2.50?? Plus, for a tiny bottle of coke, £3.05! When I was waiting in the queue to order, saw a single packet of crisps cost £1.50! My eyes watered! I think in the current financial difficulties they should maybe have special offers on or something. I would recommend, but maybe just for drinks and not food.

We called in for a coffee and scone during a shopping trip to Springfield’s in Sep 2024. When we sat down I noticed the floor was filthy and had obviously not been swept or cleaned for quite some time. Also there was litter on the floor. The table had been cleared but not wiped down. The scone was one of the worst I’ve had, dry and crumbly. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait for the coffee. Had we known that before paying, we would have gone elsewhere. Would not recommend, there are better places to eat.

Family day out to the outlet centre. Popped into The Noshery for lunch. It was busy but tables were still available. After ordering at the till the food came fairly quickly (4 adults and 1 child so a decent sized order). Large portions and tasty food. Maybe a tad on the more expensive side for a garden centre restaurant.

I hadn't visited this restaurant for a few years. It always used to be a carvery/ meals served to you and then you take a seat. But now there is a menu and you order at the till. I am dairy free and there weren't loads of options but at least there were a few choices. Dairy free itself wasn't listed on the menu so I went by the vegan options so there may have been more I could've had but I didn't ask. I chose the vegetable wrap and it was nice. We were told it was a 15 mins wait for food but it came out within 5 mins! We had the drink specials, the iced tea and pink lemonade, both very good. Lots of seating in there and clean.

Our second afternoon visit to the coffee shop, Nosery for a coffee and something savoury. Same bad service as first time, why indeed did we give a second chance. We arrived 12 August about 3pm. There were about 5 people cleaning and emptying already empty selves (good that they are clean). We had to ask for service, because it was more important to dry trays than serve a customer. First question, almost rude, was the table number...so sorry we didn't have that in almost empty coffee shop. Service continued to be bad, it felt as if it was very unnecessary to serve a customer, pile of trays were waiting. We had coffees and two scones, as nothing else savoury available. Luckily we didn't have to wait long for our coffees. Other staff were sweeping the floors and wiping the tables in front of us, almost as if they wanted to say, "go away we a closing and want to do our cleaning". We want to support local business, not big international companies, but next time, Cafe Nero, here we come.

Went there today for one of their lovely Sunday lunches but what we were served was appalling. Now table service and when we got the meals there were only 2 veg, a portion of purple mush which I guess was meant to be red cabbage which we both hate and hard, greasy roast potatoes. The usual thick delicious gravy was replaced with what looked and tasted like dish water. When we asked for apple sauce we were told there wasn't any. Sort it out Noshery! You have just lost 2 customers and we won't be going back again.

This place was well known it's Sunday Roast.. Was plentiful, well cooked and delicious. Was a carvery but never minded the queue or wait.. Traveled from Stamford frequently for it. However, today's offering totally missed the mark. It's now table service, half the size, more expensive, hard roast potatoes, limp vegetables, apple sauce that tasted of nothing. The complete opposite of what it was.. Will lose a lot of custom I'm certain. Won't bother again

This is a great spot to visit on a cold, mid-afternoon day in Spalding. Considering the location (Springfield’s) leaves you stuck for chose on where to go for a proper meal rather than a simple sandwich from the other coffee shops… it is a delight too see a proper restaurant that serves wonderful food, as well as an up-market feel of service. We were served by a young lady who was kind enough but also could be seen as ready to go home, unfortunately we where put into a corner where everybody seemed to be congregated, even with an nearly empty room before our eyes - we all where forced together… when ordering for another lovely staff member, she asked if we would like to be seated at different table, this was only because of the size of our order, as well as the small table we where sat on. It was a wonderful offer we took gratefully! We enjoyed our soups, a lovely warm butternut squash with just the perfect kick of heat, not to mention a warm, crusty roll. All finished up with a delicious French toast with the perfect cream and Coolie combo! Would highly recommend and is fairly reasonable for the quality of experience provided!! Would not bother with anywhere else for food in the outlet centre ;)

Overpriced mediocre food. Tea for 2 £4.80 in a less than half full teapot, a salad that was nothing more than a garnish, luke warm chips and the deserts at £4.95 for a finger slice nothing more than extortionate. Won't be eating here again.

Having popped over to Springfields, we decided to stop for a QUICK cup of coffee before heading home. We had thought of popping into Costa but decided we’d support a more ‘local’ store. How disappointed were we! 1. You have to find a table, so you could give the table number for your order, before ordering anything…. 2. Taking of orders was very slow at the till, but we finally got there. 3. We sat at our table and duly waited for our 2 cappuccinos and 1 millionaires shortbread …. 4. And we waited 5. And we waited. 6. We observed a number of people who had ordered well before us, go up to the counter and ask where their drinks were 7. And we waited… 8. We watched the table next to us, who arrived about 20 minutes after us, have a sandwich and chips delivered for 1 of the adults while the food order for the other adult did not arrive, but that’s ok, the lad who wiped the table down wiped the sugar onto the ground, not into his hand to dispose of…. 9. And yet we still waited. 10. The sandwich and chips for the other person on the table next to us finally arrived, and her companion asked for tomato sauce and mayonnaise…. Which they got immediately 11. And we were still waiting. 12. Then I spied another person who was 2 customers in front of us when we were ordering, go up to the counter and ask where his drinks were and was told they were just being done. 13. Then I watched the number of trays lined up on the small section of the counter and what items were going on each. 14. 3 trays and I was hoping our was the 3rd one. 2 cappuccinos were sitting on the tray. 15. And the tray sat there for nearly 10 minutes! 16. But there was on,y one lady taking trays to tables, and 2 boys clearing the tables. 17. Our cappuccinos sat on the tray cooling down at the counter….. 17. Finally another lady came out of the kitchen, added the millionaire shortbread to the tray and bought it over. We had been waiting well over half an hour for a quick coffee…. Half an hour! Not impressed at all. We pointed out to the person who finally bought our order that we had been waiting over half an hour, we did not point out the cappuccinos had been sitting on the counter for almost 10 minutes, and told her this was not good enough. We had deliberately chosen to not go to a Costa, but now wished we had. It is not good enough to keep people waiting so long for the goods they had ordered. She didn’t understand why it had taken so long… Well perhaps they look into their service and work out why it takes so long to serve customers and deliver their orders - 1 person taking orders at the till, 2 people making drinks, and 1 person taking to the table, with the occasional help from a second person and 2 people clearing tables. Talking to a couple on the next table, who also had been waiting over 1/2hour for their order, who clearly have frequented this cafe more often, they told us it used to be better, but then they changed to this ‘new service system’ and it is terrible. We certainly won’t be returning. Advice: Do Better if you want to stay in business.

We quite often visit here for what we consider a good sunday roast. I am amazed at what people expect for such little money, we think the food is honest good quality real food not heated in a plastic bag and served. We took friends this time who are fussy eaters and they confirmed the quality was better than good. Find a table sit down and then go and order your food. Drinks are then served to you at the table. If you are having sunday roast you then have to go and visit the counter to get your lunch and take it back to your table. (just like a carvery) Anything else is served to you at your table. My only gripe is that children can seem to run around making a noise in one part which is parents fault not the Noshery.

You are required to find a table to order first. So the restaurant are able to process lots of orders in quick time, but as you are getting served at the table, and coffee machines have a cycle time that can’t be changed, if you just want a coffee and a snack, the waiting time is too long. The sofas are filthy and it was full of screaming kids. A cake was nearly £5. So I think the service is poor, the cleanliness is poor, the ambience is poor and the prices are not justified by the experience.

We came here a few weeks ago and had a Sunday carvery which was very good, albeit the portions were too large for us. This time we visited on a Monday and it wasn't so good. My wife had the Chicken Caesar salad and that consisted of mainly rabbit food but little chicken. I ordered a cheese and tomato quiche with salad and buttered new potatoes. When my meal arrived it was minus the buttered new potatoes. The waitress said she would speak to the manager and then get some. By the time they materialised I had already eaten three quarters of the quiche etc. All in all, over £30 for this plus two apple juices. Hardly value for money and coupled with poor service we won't be back.

We visited last Saturday lunch time. It was not at all busy since the Spalding Tulip Parade was in full swing. My wife and I ordered two jacket potatoes and a pot of tea for two. £22.60 Last time we visited we had great potatoes with good helping of filling, nice salad etc. However, Saturdays ‘effort’ was a potato on a sandwich size plate with around two teaspoons of filling on top. A dry salad accompanied. No butter. Delivered by hand without cutlery or serviette not on a tray. My potato was chilli beef with a teaspoon of guacamole (actually just mashed sole avocado and what was supposed to be sour cream, but actually was sweetened cream as for a cream scone. (At this stage I let it be known I have a chefs diploma so I do kind of know food!). My wife had cheese and beans. We counted 15 beans and a small scattering of finely grated cheese. The potatoes were small/medium sized. Once we requested butter and got some cutting implements (and after some additional seasoning…) the taste and quality was not too bad, just such unbelievably small portions. Or in other words a child sized portion for an adult price! Come on Springfields / Blue diamond - get your act together and think about the queues you had just a year ago. You need to improve and manage a better quality service.

We hadn't been to Springfields for a long time because on our last visit we were subjected to racist comments by one of their security men, which upset my wife as she is not English, and the management were not interested in doing anything about it. However, we decided we would return today and had a meal in the garden centre restaurant. Very good carvery with lovely juicy turkey and nice veg, although the cauliflower cheese was very hard. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. One thing we would like to see, however, is a small carvery in addition to the standard carvery. There is way too much for us and we had to waste a lot and looking at the plates of others as we left there was a lot of wastage there, too.

We came on a coach trip, stopping at the shopping centre on our way to Norfolk, and decided to have a bite before doing some shopping. By the time we got our snacks, we had run out of time! Entering the cafe, there was a confusing sign directing us into three queues, which most people ignored as it was just not working. So we joined the queue to get a quick coffee and a sausage roll. After ten minutes, honestly, we got to the lady asking what we wanted. We asked for something quick like a sausage roll. She offered to heat them which we agreed, and were given a number and then queued for another 5 minutes, along with other very frustrated customers, for the slowest lady ever, at the one operating till. Lovely lady, but so deadly slow. After that, we waited, and waited, and waited, till I grabbed a rare passing waitress and politely asked for our 'warmed' sausage rolls. 5 minutes later they arrived. Our experience took over 35 minutes from entering the queue to getting our snack. By then the queue was out the door, with 39 people in the queue (I have photos!) We told the ones at the doorway not to bother, and they left. Am writing to Blue Diamond separately as we are loyal and happy customers at one of their other garden centres.

While standing in the queue we looked into the rafters and there directly above the food was great big cobwebs blowing in the draft ready to drop. I don’t call that hygienic! Finally got what was called ‘homemade butternut squash and sweet potato soup - definitely wasn’t, tasted just out of a tin! And for over £5 it was overpriced. My friend had tuna jacket and she said the tuna mayo was stringy. By the time you had a pot of tea on top it wasn’t far off £10 for a very poor lunch. Won’t be going there again!!

Pricey pricey pricey. Would not be paying £6.45 for a egg and cress in small panni typed roll. So just ordered two coffees . Long queues at coffee till while customers were placing their request for drinks and paying at same time. Think will try alternative venues fir coffee next time . One positive note the layout is nice

Called in for a touch of lunch. I had the scampy and chips, which I enjoyed. It was well presented, hot, and arrived in good time. The restaurant was nice and clean and is well located in the shop and was busy but as it is fairly large there were plenty of seats. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be going back.

We have seen this cafe in the past and thought it looked good and was always very popular so we thought we would give it a try, what a mistake.Tables were dirty, crockery was dirty, well worn and chipped. The wicker tables were dirt traps. The food was expensive. We had a sausage roll and it would have been of better use as a speed hump, it was almost impossible to cut and difficult to digest. The staff hygiene standards were low with a lot of nose and hair touching and no gloves when handling food. Our first and last visit to this cafe.

We have been before and it was ok this time my husband had nearly finished before mine arrived. Pulled pork wrap was good, moussaka bland the chips were tasteless and one portion only just cooked. Wicker tables don't make for easy cleaning so food stuck between weaving. I would have filled out a comments slip if there had been any in the holder provided. Expensive for what we had, even if it had been of a reasonable standard.

Away in the caravan and wanted something to do on a damp Sunday , found Springfield shopping outlet after visiting a couple of shops passed through the garden centre and visited the cafe there, I was astounded by the quality of the Sunday carvery they offered, beef was very tender and lean , roast potatoes and veg were just as good , it’s well worth a go

I went to the Noshery as I wanted something light, just a sandwich really. There are two tills, one near the hot food and one near the sandwiches. I went to the end near the sandwiches and was told I needed to go to the till by the hot food. 5 or 6 people were standing by the coffee machine talking, not noticing me. Someone else asked me what I wanted, which was a prawn sandwich,

I only ever have a coffee here. It is handy for meeting. The amount of filth down between the sofas and window is incredible. Weeks worth of food, dust and general filth.

Myself, husband and in laws ate here today, to say it was very inviting with good smells and decor, and nice looking cakes and sandwiches. However the lady serving cold sandwiches, panini and toasties etc was serving these with bare hands touching all different mixed fillings( egg mayonnaise, coronation chicken, prawn etc) with no regard to allergies or dietary requirement people may have (even though she had a box of gloves beside her), never once using these or any serving cutlery, then to be seated and eating out baguette my father in law had found a hair in his, I must say I was very disappointed with this service and I am wondering how you managed to get your food hygiene certificate and to continue to keep it if your employees serve in this way.

We have eaten here a few times when we have visited the shopping centre. There is always a reasonable choice of hot food, including a carvery. Portions are generous and the vegetables always taste fresh. Otherwise baked potatoes, sandwiches and cakes are available. Although you have to queue, service is always quite quick.

I went to the Noshery yesterday with my friend for a coffee and decided to sit on the sofas near the children playing area. We sat down and the table was all sticky with remains of the previous customers food in the sides of the sofa. So I ask a young lady to clean it up for me and all she did was wipe the table with a damp cloth and frankly it didn't clean it at all, as the marks were still on there. After she went we notice that the wall to the side of the row of sofas was rather dirty and full of dust. Hopefully tonight the staff will do a good deep clean on this area as this has put me off.

We stopped in here for a quick break. The whole place is well laid out, catering planty sitting at tables to eat and lots of sofas and chairs for chilled out relaxing with a drink, which is what we did. The food looked really well presented and certainly seemed to come out hot. Also has a small play area for the little ones to let off steam.

We enjoyed visiting this week and my daughter had a caramel latte and I had a delicious Caribbean cocktail tea. They offer a wide range of fruit and herbal teas along with many other drinks. Although on this occasion we didn't have any food it all looked very appetising with a wide range of dishes and accompanying salads along with cakes and gateaux. We will definitely visit again and would recommend it. There is a small play area for children so that mums can sit and watch their young children play while enjoying a drink and meeting friends. The restaurant is light and airy and spacious with very nice tables and seating so it is a good place to meet up with friends or to have a break between visiting the surrounding shops.

Been here a couple of times lately - once for a work do getogether and once with my mum after some shopping. I like the decor in here, comfy and bit more class then before. Shame they then called it the very low class name 'The Noshery' which I hate. Anyway - back to it - the work do was dismal. Rather then set us up on a large round tale or long table they went with half and half which meant some were sitting between tables, reaching over others for food and making it hard to chat. The price paid was quite frankly extraordinarily stupid. A couple of quarters of sandwiches, an overly dry scone and a couple of small sickly spongy things does not warrant the money we paid in any way shape or form.

We decided to have lunch here. We both chose the roast dinner (£9.95). Quite a disappointment to previous visits. The food was literally thrown onto the plates with tongues and with the minimum of courtesy. Our food was simply a pile in the middle of the plate. I think we shall try elsewhere next time, this wasn't considered value for money.

We stopped in here for some lunch whilst visiting the shopping outlet. I had the broccoli and Stilton soup which was very tasty, and my partner had the steak pie, which was also tasty. Food was good, and very reasonably priced, the range of drinks was excellent, and although we didn’t try any, the cakes looked absolutely delicious! We would happily eat here again, the staff were friendly and efficient, even in a busy Saturday afternoon.

We regularly visit with our elderly parents because they’re happy on the comfy sofas with lovely coffee and cakes while we shop, so thought we’d give the afternoon tea a go. Booked online, arrived to find a beautiful table set out with fresh flowers! Food was all home made and delicious, extremely good value, we were even given a box to take cakes home in because we couldn’t possibly manage to eat everything. The chocolate covered strawberries were enormous. A lot of thought and effort had gone into preparing and presenting the meal - well done and thank you to all concerned.

We've enjoyed a breakfast here a few times now. Its not the cheapest we've had but i really don't mind paying for quality. We normally have a "Top Nosh" with toast and a pot of tea. The service is about as good as it gets. The staff seem very polite and happy to serve you. If you have the odd bag of shopping or an infant in toe they always offer to carry your tray for you. The food is always fresh and hot.

We meet here around twice a year for lunch and a catch up. Although the decor and seating arrangements have changed over the years, it remains consistently good lunch time and we always opt for the carvery roast. This is carved in front of you and you receive plenty of veg and the like. Much better paying arrangements now to. The food no longer goes cold whilst you are waiting to pay. We also later had a nice cup of tea and a delicious cake. And of course there is the excellent garden centre to look round as well as the many other shops at Springfields itself.Incidentally the roasts were £9.45 each.

Came here this morning with my friends and our children. The restaurant is lovely and spacious and very pram friendly! The soft play area is fab and lots of lovely sofas close by so you can be near your children playing. We all stopped for lunch, lovely lunchbox done for the children and delicious lunches for us adults. There was hot cooked options available but we all chose paninis and quiches. Everything was delicious as served with lovely salads and coleslaw. The cakes looked good too but we resisted! Baby changing facilities were great and very spacious. We will definitely be back!

The staff here are friendly and welcoming. There's a pool table by the bar and a dining area on the opposite side and a small outside seating area at the rear. It all looks quite homely. We have visited this place on a number of occasions and there's always a good atmosphere. We had a delicious Sunday roast here today, all nicely cooked and very tasty. We also visit sometimes on a Wednesday evening when they have certain events, such as a disco or quiz. A finger buffet is sometimes included and this is always a tasty treat. Can't rate this place highly enough. It's a good, friendly town centre pub and has become something of a local for us as we don't live too far away. Highly recommended. 5*
