Went over at start of lunchtime and ordered a ham and cheese salad crusty barm….. £4.60 !!!!!!! Whilst I appreciate it’s made to order, I found the price wasn’t justified all

I've been coming here ever since they opened over 20 years ago. It has been consistently good all this time. Sandwiches (for those who don't know what a butty is!) are made fresh and to your exact specifications. The menu and choice of breads are extensive. Everything is laid out in front of each server in the exact measures needed, which is why the service is so quick. It runs like a well-oiled machine. They also do soups and specials but I've never tried them as I just can't resist their butties! The staff are always friendly, even when the queue is out the door (but if you don't like to queue you can always phone your order through). They regularly have at least 3 people making the butties so you progress to the front of the queue in no time at all, so don't be put off if you do see a long queue. In the decades I've been coming here (when I'm in the area) I've never had bad service or a wrong order. The prices are a little higher than most but the highest quality ingredients are used here. They are well worth the few extra pennies.

Excellent choice complimented by friendly and welcoming staff - highly recommended My regular place for breakfast and dinner too!

Been here a few times now as my boyfriend lives close by ...clean establishment nice staff and we’ve always had nice fresh sandwiches with plenty of filling and the soups are really nice too :) would recommend

Cannot fault the food itself. But each time my friend and I visit, we seem to be told off for asking for a salad. We had a good telling off today. ‘We must specify that we want a salad in a box’ We pondered ‘how else would we want a salad?!’ Apparently we should tell them that we don’t want it on a Vienna roll or sandwich...lord knows what a Vienna roll is but every days a lesson. Also. The prawn and Avocado salad states £3.45 on the board. We pay £5. When I questioned this, the reply was ‘it’s cos you get all the stuff in a salad’ But really I think it’s just an extra £1.50 for the bloody box. Any who... Other than that, it’s grrrrreat. (just don’t expect any change)

You literally are spoilt for choice with a huge selection of salads, sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, jacket potatoes, soups etc. It gets extremely busy at lunch time so expect to queue. Located just outside the Strand Shopping Centre.

I went today for 2 salad boxes. I was really disappointed at the quality because I didn’t want coleslaw, we got lettuce tomato cucumber an onion. Plus topping presentation was really poor. Lettuce looked like it was out of a bag. Will not be going back again.

I’ve been eating here for a short while but the food is good, good sized portions. Queues can be bad but that’s a sign of good food.

Visited here many times over the years and they are always consistently good. Everything freshly made on nice soft bread. Always busy at lunch time so be prepared for a bit of a wait! Lovely 😊

This company do not derserve to be in business. Spending over £100 a month and the orders are constantly wrong with little care when you ring up. The order takers are incompetant to say the lest.

Best butty shop on Merseyside. You literally are spoilt for choice. Great for veggies and meat eaters alike.

Always great quality sandwiches, fantastic staff and quick service. Have never walked away disappointed. Best place to go if you are on a short lunch break and want to have something tasty! Hot a cold foods served including soups and delicious desserts.

Sfc have been going years. Wish they would open in Formby. They made the best sandwiches I've ever had. I used to get a cottage cheese white baguette and it was delicious. Never tasted anything like it since I stopped working in Bootle. I'm going back 20 years since I was last there so well established shop.

I've used Spoilt For Choice over a number of years - although expensive, it has usually been worth it because of quality & quantity of product. It is well worth queuing for and requesting your order face to face - I have just collected an order that was given over the 'phone. The two sandwiches had very little filling indeed and had obviously been thrown together in a hurry, then had other orders placed on top of mine as they were quite squashed. Very very disappointing - I will give them another chance, but if this happens again I will stop using them.

Come here alot for lunch with work. Never had any problems. Sandwiches are lovely and made fresh to order.

Quite simply the best egg mayonnaise sandwiches in the world are made here. Everything is fresh and the service is great!

Great butties for lunch time. Mos days a colleague calls here to collect our orders. I always choose ham crusty cob with salad and beetroot which never fails to impress. Always so fresh and great value for money as a midday meal

Los sándwiches y ensaladas son frescas, generoso y sabroso, por el personal amable que nunca están demasiado ocupados para ser amable. Tengo, sin embargo, muy mala gana dejó de utilizar esta tienda debido al hecho de que el personal hace que los sándwiches también manejar el dinero sin lavarse las manos entre. Quizás yo soy muy delicada, pero me parece que realmente desagradable.

Everything is made to order. They have a specials board but will make any combination of sandwich if asked. Also lovely jacket potatoes and homemade wholesome soup

I am a regular here, its a very busy and popular sandwich shop with an expected lunch time queue.Offers wide range of hot and cold food including specials, choice of 4 soups that change daily, scouse, etc, etc. The queue each day tells you its a good quality venue.
