First time we have used this takeaway. We had the Thali which was amazing. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Think we've found our new regular Indian takeaway!

We had a delivery from there which was delivered in time and good value for money in terms of amount. Also the quality of the ingredients was fine. It just wasn’t prepared very well. The curries were watery and dull. The samosas seemed to be from frozen and the rice was overcooked.

What friendly service! Excellent garlic chicken with naan bread, onion relish, and chutney for my takeaway. Portions are perfect. Highly Recommended.

I had chicken bhuna, plan rice, nan peshwari and shared onion bhajis. BEST INDIAN TAKEAWAY! I'm really fussy with Indian takeaways but this was bloody lovely. Perfect portion size for a reasonable price and full of flavour. I'd highly recommend and will definitely be returning 👌🏻

You must try this takeaway. Lovely fresh produce, cooked to perfection, wonderful flavours and spices. They offer great value and portion sizes. We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori King Prawns and Chapattis. Came with salad 🥗 and mango lime yogurt dressing. They all tasted wonderful the size of the king prawns 🦐 they were huge but so tasty. The chicken just fell off the bone. The mango lime yogurt dressing tasted so fresh and all the flavours compliment each other wonderfully. The owner is so friendly and really values his customers whether new or old and the delivery driver is so polite and friendly. This is my 2nd order but will definitely be ordering again.

Iv used this takeaway a few times now!.they have allways pulled out the stops" providing beautiful tasty authentic Indian cuisine,iv asked to make adjustments to certain dishes and they are allways very obliging to accommodate my requirements...delivery is very prompt with a friendly face from the restaurant team..food is always hot 🔥 and the portions are generous..I would certainly recommend this to everybody....

The best indian in the south east of london! A must-visit, friendly and welcoming staff with authentic food. We have a tried a variety of curries and sides so far and all have been 5 stars!

The food was sorry to say sickly sweet and some of the lamb was like rubber. When I queried why this was I told I should have asked for Indian style, then it would of been made spicy.

Had a curry for the first time in ages.. Rice was so salty wasnt nice at all Also the curry was runny again not as thick as before also very salty Wasnt nice at all

This is by far the best indian takeaway in bexleyheath. When we moved into our house nearly 13 years ago it was the first thing the neighbours ( all the neighbours) did . Give us the menu and say " do you like indian food? there is no where as good anywhere near here " I agree a little bit odd . But as it turns out absolutely correct and we did the same with our new neighbours.

I normally really enjoy food from here but tonight my Jalfrezi was awful.Tasted of really strong smoke and disinfectant ...not a good combination.Think be going elsewhere from now on. How disappointing.

Ordered a takeaway tonight and on arrival it was luke warm considering the shop is round the corner from my house. The chicken and naan bread were really dry and the sauce was watery. The inside of the chicken tikka starter had black all the way through it as if a dirty skewer had been pierced through the chicken to cook it. I use this curry house a lot however recently it has gone down hill and I will not be using it again.

My boyfriend came here and not only did they muddle up our order with someone else’s they were rude about it after :/. Curries are too oily for my liking but has been a good local at times

Best curry in the area in my opinion

Disappointed. Menu didn’t advise the curry size for selected meals was half the size. Order bread and rice as was expecting a stranded size curry and enough sauce, sadly not the case. Considering it was a phone order would of been nice to of been told one of your meals is normal size and one is smaller is this okay? No it’s not okay. Either eat the curry with the rice or bread and then have dry sauceless chicken. Going to bed hungry as this wasn’t the meal I wanted or expected... Not happy.

Good place for Indian meals, but not very authentic.

We have been getting our Indian takeaway from Spices for many years. It is consistently good. Food is always excellent, potions are generous and staff are really friendly. The only issue is that it is so popular, delivery can take a while. But it is always worth the wait. Highly recommended.

I have been getting takeaway from spices for years. Always been my go to takeaway. Sadly my last few takeaways have been disappointing. Spongy popadoms and soggy nan. Luke warm curries. On 2 occasions I have had to turn the oven on to heat the food up. Food has arrived much later than time stated. Curries often similar colour. I really really want Spices to go back to being the great takeaway they were. I live in Bexleyheath and I am very spoilt for Indian restaurants nearby, but I want to stay loyal to Spices. Please please do something about your food. I plan to give them one more chance...Also I would love to see a round onion bhaji....maybe I am just being fussy!!!

Have been having takeaways from Spices for several years and they are definitely the best in the area. Have tried others but t they do not match on taste or portion size.

Small portion size tubs. Watery madras, not spicey. Have been loyal but now I go to green chilli in falconwood.

Have been ordering from Spices for 10+ years, have dabbled with other Curry houses in the area and none come close to Spices. Harry the manager is one of the most polite people you can wish to speak to (dont understand some of the negative reviews on here?) and the delivery drivers are all lovely people too. Just wish they had a restaurant in the area too.

Second time ordered half the prawns missing?!?Third time went to order my partner mentioned it politely and the manager got all funnyThen tried to say popaddoms don't come with the three curries we ordered despite them always coming previously When he said he'd pay he then said they don't come with dips. Very bizarre can only presume he's on his period ;)I called back to cancel and literally spoilt for choice round here and he didn't care. Ordered this for Friday night takeaway for the first time as I justed moved into the area, and I don't know what they are, but would not call this Indian food, Taste like Tesco basic takeaway range!foul produce, I feel rip off utterly tasteless

I have been a customer of Spices since it first opened, I have never had a bad meal and the service is second to none, friendly, accommodating, will adjust your meal to your specific liking, complimentary poppadoms and delivered for free, whats not to like. I travel a lot and my first thought when arriving home is always a Spices curry even though I may have had some pretty spectacular curries on my travels. My whole family are fans and now travel to Spices for their take away, we are very fortunate to have such a gem on our doorstep. Keep up the good work guys and don't forget ... extra green chillis in my Chicken Jalfresi ...lol :)

we ordered a curry from here tonight. After being told it would be more than 1 1/4 hour to deliver I decided to drive the 3 mile journey to collect it. After getting home I opened the bag to find a completely different order. I called the restaurant and they told me that I would have to drive back to swap it, no offer for a delivery driver to exchange and no form of discount offered. Not impressed. Food was average.

I liked the proximity of the various food places which were able to deliver my subsequent food orders to my room.

We have been using this take away for over ten years. Admittedly we always go and collect but we have never had a problem with the service, staff or food . We think its very good quality and value for money. Don't know about the low hygiene rating, but maybe we have strong constitutions !!!!

What a shambles this place is, I ordered a take away and because I dared to phone to see where my order was two hours later, they have black listed me!! Well all I can say is business must be good! Oh and one more piece of info you might like to know, this take away only scores ONE on the food hygiene score, so all in all there are far better and much nicer Indian take away's to go toso give this one a miss .
