Falcon Tandoori in Bexley

We love this restaurant, we have been coming for around 10 years. The staff are lovely, the food is very tasty and reasonably priced. The only reason I marked 3 for atmosphere is because it always seems to have hardly any customers which is a shame.

The food is fantastic. We have never had a bad meal from here. The service is... lack lustre at the best, only 4 tables and we still had to call a waiter to take our order as no one approached us. Nor ever asked if the meal was OK, or asked if we wanted desert. Find that a bit odd. Decor pleasant but bland. It's all about the food though which is outstanding 😋

Curry and rice was tasty enough though lacking chicken. Literally 6 pieces so was more of an oily sauce. Food also arrived barely warm to the point i had to re-heat it. Onion bhajis were burnt and looked like they came out of a packet. Would make decent Frisbees.

Had a really nice meal here again. The tandoori lamb chops for starters were exceptional and do well presented. Highly recommended.

Pretty much order from here every Saturday night and the food is incredible, cooked perfectly and tastes amazing everytime. Food always arrives hot and staff in restaurant are very polite and friendly when we go in to collect. My girlfriend recommends the Chicken Korma as she gets this every time and loves it. I would recommend either the Chicken Biryani or Chicken Dhansak if you like a bit of spice. From Josh and Courtney:)

Lots of meat tender, onion bahji's were cold & tasteless, rice was v.good & bombay potato was good, nan bread was chewy but nice, had to heat in microwave for 2 mins, first time useing this takeaway driver very was smart & polite . Will use again hopefully next time food will arrive hot.

Chips were a let down, not many in a portion and were soggy and dry. Everything else was absolutely fantastic and fresh and tasty, will definitely order again, just a shame about the chips.

Asked for extra green chilli in madras .. was given a note on box saying … ( photo if needed ) This is extra charge .. only given this time… He didn’t say … your lamb madras is half full of oil & few cubes of obviously frozen lamb I needed 4 tissues to soak up….

I have been using this restaurant for many years and always had an amazing meal. Home delivery is not a good choice and I will never do this again. The food was ok, but the delays and quality of the food was not great

Every time I order from here the food portions get less and less and the price just keeps going up and up. Only 5 small bits of chicken in my dish. For a takeaway that costs over £30 for two people, the quality and portion sizes need to improve.

Very disappointing. Prawn puree was a very small portion, all meat was very poor quality, so chewy and pretty much inedible. Only decent thing was the naan.

First time there although freinds had been many times as its their local, the service was great. The staff were freindly and the food was spot on, was recommended the chicken tikka zynga and it didnt dissapoint. Overall a great experience.

We tried this restaurant as they were advertising Serving in authentic woks as not a lot of restaurant Use them.the food was great can't fault them the place was clean and spacious.will certainly use them again

The curry tasted very bland and flavourless, the garlic naan had no garlic, we received a plain naan instead of a peshwari naan, no poppadoms which we ordered and paid for and all food was Luke warm at best

Got a menu through the door for The Falcon Tandoori in Welling, I live in Eltham and wanted to try something new. I ordered online, through their website but to be honest you would be better to go through Just Eat or Deliveroo, at least that will tell you when it's on its way. It just stated on their website after ordering "delivery within 60 minutes" Literally 60 minutes later the food is at the door. We ordered onion bhaji's and that was 2 patty like dry tasteless items which looked more like bubble and squeak fried than anything else. The keema naan was the only part of meal that was "ok" My daughter had butter chicken, in its watery synthetic colour sauce with plain rice yet what we got was rice with felt tip pen coloured at the end of the strands. The lid said Pillow rice and Plain was actually crossed out but hey, the person who coloured the rice ends was probably the most hard working out of everyone in the restaurant. I had a chicken korma which to say was 6 tiny pieces of chicken in a watery sauce with yet another synthetic colour to it. What would go with that, well another pot of felt tip pen rice instead of plain. My husband ordered their special fried rice but it was like warm. The chicken tikka was plain chicken in a orange watery sauce with its synthetic colour bargain, £35 and nothing free or complimentary. I wouldn't buy from here again, unless you like psychedelic colour watery tasteless dinners which are tepid at best!

Food always good when ever we eat in or take away.

The chicken Madras and Bombay aloo were both watery and completely tasteless, there was no flavour at all. Very disappointing a waste of money will not be ordering from there again.

Food is always amazing my only fault was they forgot part of my order but the delivery driver was happy to go back and get it for me. Reasonable prices and good size portions

It's a normal place, nothing special

Visited yesterday, was fantastic, although it was very busy the food was still up to standards and the wait wasn’t very long considering how busy it was and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food tasted very nice, will definitely be back.

Told family that this takeaway was quite good. Had a family gathering at home so my son ordered on line and for delivery. 7 meals plus extras etc. We waited over an hour for delivery. One meal and sundries was missing, all the food was cold not warm but cold. My son phoned and they reluctantly delivered what was missing. This order was over a £100 so as you can guess no one was happy including me and I was embarrassed after telling the people how reasonable it was. Won't ever be using this place again or ever recommending the Falcon again.

Great authentic indian cuisine at reasonable prices

Bad. Really bad. Poor quality food, tiny portions and cold. The chicken tikka meals were plain chicken, the keema naans had the size of a 10p piece of meat inside and the saag paneer had zero paneer pieces in it. A real bad experience. Stay away

Awful service, poor quality food and bits missing. Saag paneer came with zero paneer.... The keema naans came with around the size of a 10p piece of meat inside. The portions are very small, around 4 lumps of chicken (not tikka when we have purchased tikka....) and cold to boot. I have pictures but can't seem to upload them to this review.

Nice clean restaurant, food good, staff friendly and attentive.

Nice food and attentive, but it was mid week. Decent price and we did have a couple of bottles of high end vino.

Food & experience ok. Firstly, it would be great if they had a non alcoholic beer alternative for non drinkers. Secondly, they took the popadom sauces away before we had finished the last popadom. The starters and mains all came together which I would totally understand if they told us in advance (as we took a long time ordering food) but with no warning it was disappointing. The starter my partner and I ordered to share (paneer tikka) also didn’t arrive. We dined with 5 others and as far as I’m aware, theirs did. Generally, I wasn’t overly impressed. As I’ve seen mentioned in the reviews, the aubergine dish was quite hard. Channa masala, aloo gobi, okra and paratha all nice enough.

Amazing food, excellent customer service and great atmosphere. It’s a must if you’re in the area. Will defo be back !

We visited on a Saturday night for a family meal We were seated and ordered drinks and popodoms and a couple of starters Not a great start some were a bit stale and the chops mostly fat and bone covered in sauce Mains arrived the meat jalfrazei had a few bits of fatty chewy meat Sides were OK but under cooked Some of the other mains were OK Were charged for dishes that didn't arrive which we asked to be taken off the bill Paid and left One of the worst meals I've had in a while sadly

Probably the worst Indian takeaway I've ever had - absolutely tasteless - bland, no hint of spice. Five small pieces of chicken in a waterery tikka masala sauce and a heap of spinach with 6 tiny pieces of potato in the sag aloo- absolutely awful - never again - what a waste of money!

Worst food ever….. butter chicken with coconut… really…. Claiming to be an indian restaurant but not indian flavours at all. Don’t be fooled.

Very disapointing. Ordering was fine, good menu on website. When the food arrived however eveything was downhill from here. Brinjal was hard and bland, gobi was bitter, naan was still raw in places. Best dish was the Dansak, everything else was mediocre.

Been ordering from this restaurant for years now. The last couple of orders have been poor quality, tasteless and the meet is like rubber. The portions sizes have also decreased massively and the prices increased. It’s nearly £30 now for two meals and two sides. Really gone down in my opinion and will try elsewhere in the future. Real shame.

The dishes were amazing ordered 2x Thalis and tikka masala sag aloo and samosa was all cooked beautifully and loved the sauces and salad and dips. Thank you will be getting again.

Food was cold and had to be re heated. Delivery man did not take cash in delivery and just went back to car. After we had eaten I tried to call restaurant to explain that we had not paid. Called a few times and was engaged. Our doorbell then started ringing at nearly 2130 with someone asking for the money. Not acceptable to start knocking on someone’s door that late at night with no warning. Poor service all round.

Food was very tasty & hot. it arrived about half an hour earlier than expected but was perfect as I was starving! Was delivered by a friendly chap. Will definitely order again

My first order from here. Food was superb. You can gauge an Indian restaurant by its samosa’s, and from the first bite I knew the whole meal was gonna be lovely, and it was. Tip-top.

Enjoy our takeaway nights. I agree they can be on the slow side but this is expected in the present climate. The food is really good and hot when it arrives. They have not increased their prices at all. We will definitely be returning when they are reopen. They have been loyal to their regulars. Waited two hours for our food. Never arrived paid for drinks and left. Awful service and customer relations. AVOID AT ALL COST - visit S3 a few doors down!

2 hours me and my 7 friends had to wait for a starter and pompaddoms. Complained to staff who didn't seem to care. Paid for for our drinks and starters then went elsewhere. Terrible service, go elsewhere. Awful.

Really tasty and reasonably priced meal including vegan options. Lovely friendly service. We had the onion Bhajis poppadoms with variety of dips. For main we had the veg biryani, Chana masala, Tarka Dahl. All delicious.

Very disappointed with the order. Gave us a sweet chicken tikka, cheddar instead of paneer in what was supposed to be a saag paneer... what made it worse was when they tried to explain that you dont get paneer in the UK., so they use cheddar... seriously?

By far THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT AROUND The managers are great. Ever time we go in there I get one of the managers to advise me on a different meal tell him what I like and he tells me a few dishes that i would like and every time he hits the nail bang on the head. In this restaurant alone I have had 10 different meals and every one of them has been stunning. There not many restaurants you can go in and find more then 3 meals on the menu you like. This place the food is fantastic the managers are great we take the 4 kids in there from late teens to 3 years and they look after the kids make us all feel like we are special. What more can I say. AMAZINGDon’t understand how people rate the Shampan 3 about 8 doors down where the food quality doesn’t compare and the bill comes in double. If you have never tried the Falcon Tandoori Please please try this restaurant. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED

Brilliant service and food was to die for cannot wait to visit again. We had such a nice meal and the gentlemen serving us was very heplful

The waiter was not very good we had to pull our table out to sit down,he wasn’t very friendly,no ambience,draughty beer was dearer than a large bottle,but the food was very nice shame about the waiter it has put us off going there again

Was here on day one on their opening day and every year it maintains a level to keep up with their competition down the road to them, their food is fantastic, go for the indo puri, hilariously 1980s decadence, friendly service always!
