Spice Lounge in East Hampshire

It’s rare for me to treat myself to a takeaway. There were so many dishes I’d never tried before but there are helpful descriptions which guided me through. This meal far exceeded my expectations, it was just delicious, every dish. A complementary salad was just enough to separate the different flavours. I will definitely order again to try some of the other dishes that caught my eye.

Always amazing food , delivered promptly sometimes early , couriers always very friendly , the food is prob the best in the area for this type of food I have tried a few and always come back to it , it is a bit pricey but I think you get the quality that justifies this I would highly recommend

Wonderful tasty food as usual.

This is the first time ordering bhajis from any restaurant which didn’t supply about of raita as standard, very disappointing. It’s never advertised but I’ve always received a lot or 2 with my order. However the food was very tasty despite this.

lovely food as ever (although it could have been spicier!), but delivery times are dreadful. The app said 35-50 mins, then gave time slot options so I set it for an hour... it was then 20 mins late 🙄

Absolutely Brilliant Takeaway experience we had tonight! Great value for the Testy food! Deliver to the Door within a 25 minute as they have said it might take little longer just because it’s Friday Rush! But overall I loving it as we get free dessert as well which was unexpected from any other local takeaways or Restaurant!

Normally a great service and food from Spice Lounge but the food was late and cold

Ordered at 5pm for a later delivery time slot of 6:30. Food was delivered 20 minutes late, meaning it had to be reheated before we could eat.

Our due delivery time was 20.05 and didn’t arrive until 21.15! All hot food was cold and we had to reheat in the microwave to make it hot enough to eat. My wife’s curry was all sauce and only 4 small bits of chicken and the onion bhajis were swimming in grease!! We have used this takeaway for over three years but they have now lost our custom, we are so disappointed and disgusted with our meal and the service!

Fantastic flavours and amazing value

Juned was very friendly and even offered us sweets while we waited which were actually really nice so i took a few, he even gave us some popadoms just for reviewing and food was quick and reasonable prices

Our go-to Indian for takeaway. Food is always great yet regardless of how busy they are, they always make a point of saying hello & thank you. In this day and age that goes a long way. Definitely recommend as we've never been disappointed. A+++

It still hasn’t arrived yet. I ordered at 6:20

I ordered my food at 615 due to arrive at 720/730. It arrived at 810. I called them at 745 who said it was on its way. We live 5 minutes away really wasn’t expecting it to take this long. If they were short of drivers they shouldn’t put their delivery time at the time it was. Food was worth it but didn’t appreciate how long it took

Ordered food at 6:36pm. Was told it would be here between 7:50-8:10. Called at 8:10 and was told they were busy and short on drivers. Said it would be another 25 mjns. Called again at 8:35 and was told they are leaving and with me in 5 mins. Called again at 8;49 as still not here and I explained that I have a 12 year old who shouldn’t be eating at 9. Delivery driver turned up at 8:52 with no apology. It’s a shame because the food when it arrived was really good but we won’t be back.

Everything was amazing, apart from my lamb was really rare so unfortunately I only 1 piece. That was annoying because the flavour was amazing. Will definitely be ordering it again so make sure it’s cooked 😜

Really not good. Tikka Masala had a weird texture somewhere between soup and pasta sauce that was only enhanced by the fact it tasted of pure tomato. Will not order from here again.

Gone downhill, was our favourite. Nana's under cooked, still see translucent dough. Currys become average from when they started. Sad news

We ordered a takeaway on 15/03/2024. Whilst eating the takeaway, I found a large piece of plastic (see image below of container and piece of plastic). Whilst I removed it from the curry, I cannot be sure I haven't ingested any other smaller pieces. Needless to say this can be very dangerous. I emailed a complaint to Spice Lounge on 17/03/2024, asking for an apology, however they decided to ignore me. Please make of this what you will.

Placed an order for delivery where they got one item wrong. They then resent another driver with the correct order to my house within 10 minutes. Exceptional service especially for a busy Friday night. Food is always 10/10. Best in the area!

2 out of 3 times IV had problems 1st time hour and a half late as they said the road was closed and took it back which it wasn't. Last time I ordered they delivered to the wrong place not even the right street very disappointed. Only time they got it right the food was good

Poppadoms and dips were a good start and this earned the star, unfortunately the main meal was unedible. One curry had chips for potato and had lots of sugar, like an overly sweet korma with no spice. The 2nd curry had lots of lime pickle and no spice, it couldn't be eaten as the pickle flavour overpowered the dish, it was rated as hot but had no spice. The next day there was an overwhelming garlic taste left in the mouth from having only eaten a few mouthfuls. Spent a lot of money and only ate popodoms and dips. This isn't Spice House its Garic and Sugar house.

Ordered from Spice Lounge 3 times before. Have to say, flavour is always great. However on this occasion, there wasn't much chicken in my korma. Maybe one breast diced up. For £10.50, I had at least 2/3 of the tub, just sauce. We ordered this takeaway especially for our 5 year wedding anniversary, and as we never order take put, we were really looking forward to a treat. Not sure if we'll order from here again...

Well over an hour late and still not received order. Food is cold. Waste of money.

Delivered about 30 minutes late but kept informed of this by restaurant. Lovely curry. Ordered lamb rogan Josh , garlic chilli chicken & meat on both really tender. Great sides - onion Bahjee , garlic rice, saag aloo, vegetable samosa- all really tasty . In my opinion a little more expensive than some but Worth it for the quality .

Without a doubt Spice Lounge is the best in Bordon. Always cooked perfectly often early and absolutely gorgeous.

Prices have gone up hugely and both curry’s were tasteless and watery - we have ordered from here loads of times before but won’t again!

Still warm, on time. All dishes good. Never tried the shatkora before, very different but very nice, slightly perfumed, exotic with citrussy chunks.

My Indian takeaway of choice, everything has always arrived hot and extremely tasty. They make a superb lamb Rogan and the keema naan is outstanding, but its the Onion Bhaji that are incredible! Order, eat, enjoy!!
