Great service after we had communication issues that were my fault. But we ordered 3 types of curries and they all tasted the same. Butter Veggies had coconut flavor? Sadly the worst Indian food I’ve ever had.

First time I tried here tonight and I must say it was all so delicious ! The chicken tikka massala, keema fried rice and keema naan was the best I’ve ever tasted, lots of flavour, nice and hot, good sized portions and lovely staff. Thank you was so yummy I’ll definitely be coming back

M husband decided to try this place again as we noticed it has new owners and chef’s and we’re glad we did as the food was 10/10… We had the Dansak and Madras and it was as good as we have had in Brick Lane…. The young lad who served us was extremely well mannered and was happy to interact with customers and kept us up to date with timings etc…. I’d recommend giving this place a try

Amazing food And really good customer service

Consistent curries that are excellent. We order here regularly, delivery is quick and the spice levels are consistent. Naan breads are top drawer and often we ask for something specific ie heat level or ingredients and they oblige. Prices are as expected. The madras is excellent, with that lovely tang that a good madras has, dhansak is clearly authentic with lentils used. The tarkha dhal can be a bit loose on occasions but lovely and garlicky. Never had any kind of stomach issues after and a 5 food hygiene rating. A mushroom madras would be a handy addition to the menu, but we usually order the mushroom bhaji and a madras sauce for the veggie in the house. Can't comment on meats other than the chicken but that is always succulent and well cooked.

Always very polite on the phone and food is delicious. They always call before arriving where I live on my boat.

Damn good takeaway, friendly service normally around 30-45 min wait usual time for a Fri or a Sat night & delivered on time, the curries we've had have been very nice indeed for me personally the balti is the best I've ever had, so if you're looking for a decent takeaway & find yourself reading this review I highly recommend it...

Amazing customer service! Really accommodating to gluten free, arrived hot & really tasty. Free soft drinks, poppadoms & all food clearly labelled! Out of 5 restaurants we’d called this evening they were the only ones who happily answered the basic questions but went above & beyond to make things gluten free!

This is the very best food I have ever had and I been eating Currys sense I was 5 so I like to think I know a rubbish one to the best and this is the best.

Recently moved to the area, and was worried about trying to find a new place to get our Indian cuisine. I need not to have worried after ordering with Spice Kitchen. The gentleman taking my order explained the spice levels for my partner with one of their dishes and also made an alteration to one of their dishes for myself. When the polite gentleman arrived delivering our food on time it was hot and fresh. The food was all excellent across the board, we are very pleased with our meals and will be ordering with them again.

I ordered at 6:30 on a friday night and it was delivered in 30 mins!, the two meals Lamb Tikka and Chicken Dhansak + a naan were all georgous, free popadoms too, Never had lamb so tender compared to my old takeaway. Highly recommended.

Just had the best Indian take away we’ve had in a long time! Delicious food, great portion sizes, fast delivery. We ordered pilau rice, peshwari naan with dips, pilau rice, cucumber raita, tandoori king prawn masala and chicken hariyali tikka. Really fresh, delivered hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold, prompt delivery, great value for money- would recommend and we will be using this takeaway again for sure.

Tried this place for the 1st time the other day and got to say it was worth every penny I paid. Fantastic food all around and the portion sizes were amazing. The customer service provided was excellent. People of Gosport have to give this place a try. 5⭐️ all around. Keep up the great work guys!

My first visit to SPICE KITCHEN resulted in a very poor customer service. I called on behalf of my father an order totalling £28. I was asked whether it was cash or card and do I want delivery. I said card and I would pick it up as often it’s much hotter on arrival. When I arrived and paid , I noticed on the menu that you received 10% off for orders over £12 but that it was for online orders only. I asked if I could claim the 10% off but the representative said it was for only cash orders. I said that could have been made more clear when I called. I also said that on the menu it says 10% off for online orders and not cash so what was it? He said cash. I said that should be in the menu then. I pointed out that you should just give 10% off for orders over £12 whether phone or online. My local Indians all do this and there is no difference between how you pay for it. It discriminates against those that can’t order online - namely the elderly. A quick £2.80 off would have proven a win win situation. I should point out that delivery was free to my area but that was not pointed out in the phone call either so I saved the takeaway further funds by collecting myself. Pretty unhappy customer service on the whole. Food was excellent though.

My Takeaway was good better than the other Indian takeaway s I've had in gosport i have the same dish all the time spice kitchen was the best so far!

So disappointed, after reading the reviews we decided to give Spice Kitchen a go! What’s waste of money the curry was tasteless the pots of mint sauce are so small, the poppadoms where soft and not crunchy would never recommend please be warned!!!👎👎👎👎👎

I ordered Chilli Lamb Tikka, pashwari naan and onion bhajis. * What was good? Plenty of tasty ingredients, in the curry sauce. Good-sized portion, too. Bread had a good texture. Free poppadum with mixed onions and a pot of raita. Cheerful, very pleasant, prompt delivery driver. Price was fair. * What was not good? Overcooked and bone-dry onion bhajis. I managed a quarter of one, from the 3 pieces. Leftovers from the previous night, reheated, perhaps. Filed in bin. Sharp sliver of bone in the lamb - see photo. 4cm long, it stabbed the inside of my cheek. Very careless, to leave bone in lamb. Lamb was in different sized pieces, so the small ones were tender, but the double-sized ones were tough. There was gristle on two of the larger pieces. Again, that's avoidable, in a better kitchen, it would be trimmed off. Use cheaper cuts, sure, but don't just lob random bits in. The raita was just like plain yoghourt. No coriander, mint, or cucumber. No taste. Not a good experience. I will try somewhere else, next time.

Waited 2 hours for delivery. Estimated delivery time was 20-40 mins. Called after an hour and was told food hadn’t even been cooked yet.

This is without a doubt the best restaurant I have used. The food and service are second to none. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Biryani has well balanced flavours. Lamb in the biryani is dry but paired with the vegetable curry helped. Bit confused with the palak paneer as usually it has paneer and spinach but it also seemed to have mozzarella in it! Nevertheless was nice.

Definitely the best curry house in Gosport. Only started using them a couple months ago and by far the best by a long shot. Brilliant menu, great food at a great price.

Ordered korma, tickets masala, chicken chat, mixed kebab Was all absolutely brilliant 👏. Were very fussy as do not order takeaway very often. Definitely 👍 order again. Thankyou spice kitchen

We have tried different local Indian restaurants in the hope we would eventually find a really good one, and finally we think that we have! Delivered in good time and piping hot. The lamb in both our dishes was superb, succulent and lots of it. My palak paneer and stuffed paratha were also excellent, these are things I regularly order. We will be ordering from these guys again!

WOW!!!!!! we ordered from here this evening for the first time, well they have definitely gained 2 new customers. And we will highly recommend. Food was outstanding. Delivery was spot on and the driver was a very pleasant young man. If there was an option to give higher than 5* then i would.

Ordered take away for 4. Very prompt delivery. A good job we could handle hot spicy curry; even the milder sag dishes had a "kick"; Jalfrezi had a real oomph to it!

We went to spice kitchen because we had lost trust in the others well we chose a dinner called chicken delight and oh my gosh it is such a delight to have the chicken delight we always go for this and always will the only ask is please can we have a bit more chicken its so gorgeous we want more please keep it coming

First time ordering from Spice Kitchen and was greeted by a very polite man taking our order. Food came at a reasonable time and was fresh and still hot and the portion sizes were very generous, not to mention delicious! Our delivery driver was very polite and we were happy tipping. Would definitely recommend :)

food is really nice, but we have ordered twice from them now and they messed up our order twice. first time was forgivable missing onion bhajis from our order and decided to give benefit of the doubt and ordered again. missed a portion of chips, the vegetable curry from a biryani dish AND cauliflower bhaji the second time we ordered. missed items turns value into poor rating and the wait to receive my missed items turns service into poor rating too.

... would you wait two hours for a takeout?! That’s right... TWO HOURS! Before we placed our order the delivery time stated 30-35 mins... reasonable... however after we placed our order this dramatically increased to 1 hour 15 mins We waited... and time ticked on... we left it until a full hour and a half had passed and called the restaurant. They were apologetic and said our food was ready would be with us in the next 10-15 minutes... we left it another 20 before calling again! Our food had only just left the kitchen! It arrived near on exactly TWO HOURS from when we placed the order... two hours...

Last week had tikka, naan with few curries, having curries all my life can tell straightaway food is cooked fresh, nicely spiced up, service excellent, friendly order taken, defiantly recommend people Living in gosport, give a try, wont be disappointed.

Ordered through a food app, arrived 15 mins before due time, which was great, as was feeling peckish.Went for something different, usually a Pathia, Dhasak, but this time Himlayian Chicken, which I enjoyed, had a tang to it, not too hot. Onion Bhaji's were nice, crispy on the outside, moist in the inside.Husband had his usual Chicken Jalfrazei, which he enjoyed, I tried a bit, nice.Garlic Nan, not as fluffy as some I have had, but nice non the less.Will order again

my 4th meal from Spice and I cannot recommend enough . Food is always hot fresh ,tasty and delivered fast . my favourite is chicken Kashmiri a beautiful light med strong curry with the addition of pineapple ..so yummy . all the staff i have dealt with have always been polite helpful and friendly

Best Indian Takeaway ive had in a long time.

We have just collected and eaten(most of) the delicious takeaway. We ordered meal for 4 which was huge!!! We havnt been able to eat it all but throughly recommend it and fantastic value for money! Ordering online meant super quick service, friendly and welcoming too! Thankyou Spice Kitchen!

As this is a new take away in Gosport, we thought we'd try it out. Well, I have to say it was well worth it. I had a classic chicken tikka masala, and it was really really good! My husband had a chicken jalfrez and he said it was one of the best he has had, and coming from a head chef that's impressive.....Will definitely be eating there again.
