Harbour Arm good vibe, but if you purchase anything from Sole Kitchen, make sure you get a receipt, wish I had.Got charged £33:50 for two pints of IPA and one pint lager shandy.Didn't realise until I checked my account a couple of days later.

Queued on the right hand side of the shack to order a drink and asked if there was anything else I wanted to which I replied a chip butty, then was told I had to queue on the left for food and he became flustered, he said he thought they were out of chip buttys so he'd check, came back and said that they were out, went to order a fish finger sandwhich and someone came back to him and said they were intfact still doing chip buttys, he gave me the drink and asked if I can queue on the left (I hadn't paid for the drink at this point) queued on the left with only 2 people infront which kinda didn't bother me, got to the front said to the guy behind, I still need to pay for this drink and he said oh you'll need to queue on the right, I then told him I'm ordering food so I've been told to queue on the left again got flustered, asked for a chip butty said they were out to then I told him that lady just told that guy they were still doing them, he asked and she replied they have 3 left, so finally ordered and paid gave me a buzzer but no time scale, maybe 10-20 minutes later my buzzer went off, came to the hatch and was presented a "chip butty" the chip butty consisted of a tiger loaf that had been cut in half, all the bread taken out and filled with chips.... asked if I wanted sauce, lady couldn't remember what sauces they had, was very disappointed really, it was more of a bread crust bowl with a few chips, chips alone was £3.50 so I paid £2 for bread crust..... gave me a knife and fork but was so cackhanded to eat I left half of it as it was so dry, it was run by youngsters and you could just tell there was no organisation nor people skills, kicking myself now for not taking a photo 🤦🏼‍♀️

Been eating here on and off for the last year or two when I visit the Harbour Arm. I have always enjoyed their food. Delicious fish with a few twists. Everyone I have taken here has raved about it.

Perfect lunch snack on the Harbour Arm. 4 cod goujons in a brioche bun with lettuce, tartar sauce, coleslaw and a slice of lemon. Portion of chips perfect size to share between 2. Also got a pint of Curious IPA and a Strawberry and Thyme Cider. All delicious, beautifully served, was ready in about 10 mins. Friendly staff too. Has become my favourite place for lunch on the Harbour Arm

Group of friends checking out the Harbour Arm Folkestone on a not so lovely day but really enjoyed the shandy battered cod and chips from the Sole Kitchen Ann said it's the best battered cod she has eaten in a long time and praised it's lightness and taste One of us had the tacos with cod chilli and avocado Was too heavy on the chilli and a bit small compared to the fish and chips but was ok Helpful service Easy to use app and order came quickly Recommended

Enjoyed a really tasty cod and chips along with some squid. Friendly staff, helpful with the new online table service, food took 5 minutes and they even gave my dog a little bowl and directed us to a tap for his water! 10/10 would recommend!

Really lovely fresh fish and seafood, all cooked in minutes while you wait admiring the great sea views from the Harbour Arm or the nearby Anthony Gormley statue. We were able to eat at one of the many picnic benches available along the length of the jetty when we visited at the end of August, but that may have changed.

Very disappointing experience. Only table we could find was all the way down the pier near the Lighthouse, meaning that the buzzers for the food orders wouldn't work due to the distance. I then had to hang around for the 10-15 minutes I was advised the order would take. Waiting patiently... 25 mins in I enquired as to where my order was only to be told it had been misplaced. Food was then cooked fairly quickly and was obviously to order. Sadly cod was served full of bones (which had been originally intended for my wife and 2 year old boy to share). Really surprised that given this is supposed to be the outlet's specialism that the cod had not been filleted. £5 a pint and nearly £10 for cod and chips... And not being able to share the experience of the amazing Harbour arm with family due to the wait... Not an experience I'd recommend. The place was not heaving either so no excuses really.

My husband and sister had fish and chips today whilst I bought food elsewhere on the harbour arm. My sister ate her chips but couldn't eat the fish, and my husband struggled to finish his - both of them found several bones throughout the fish which really put them off. I've never found bones in 'fish and chips' fish before and was so glad that I didn't order this. My husband enjoyed the chips and what looked like homemade tartar sauce, but couldn't enjoy the fish due to the bones. He also said the batter was tasteless and added nothing to the meal. Very expensive for what it was, we've had much better fish and chips all over Folkestone.

The Harbour Arm gets rammed at weekends especially on a sunny day. The queues can be long. This place has curious brew beer and does fish and chips (they are just learning so give them a chance). Prices are higher than in town which is normal for the location. It's all about the seaside vibe, the live music etc. Bring a hat if it's sunny and a jacket for if the wind blows, which it frequently does out at sea.

We have stopped here on a number of occasions solely because they serve Curious brew IPA. A lovely drop of ale. Always friendly polite service. Ideally situated on the harbour atm near the stage where you will find musicians performing at the weekend in the summer months.

Ordered the fish tacos and a prawn po-boy that my wife and I planned to split. The customer service was great. Really friendly and helpful. The food was what was mixed. Not crazy about the fish tacos but the po-boy was good.
