2 staff who works in shop called Aaila and Hajara is my favourite staff ever. They are deaf aware and have lovely conversations. Good service. I love to come see them and eat food.

First time I have been to this cafe after passing many times and it was amazing. The chicken and pesto grilled sandwich was delicious and the staff are very friendly. Had a chat with the Owner who was lovely too. I Will definitely be going back to try other dishes on the menu as they all look delicious!

Slow service, drinks werent served at the same time, hot drink got cold whilst, although fresh, orange juice was warm! Food took a while to be served. Again one dish was served and eventually the next came. Food tasted average, nothing out of the ordinary, at all! SO plain, and too simple. Overpriced for such food. Had to ask about condiments otherwise not served. Table was greasy, not ideal and uncomfortable chairs.

Staff brilliant and friendly. Food brilliant, good value for money. Pretty busy for brunch on a Sunday morning with a really diverse crowd. Others can learn lots from this place. Julie has med omelette and me the cheesy beef sausage toastie. Washed down with lattes.

Harja looked after us efficiently and friendly. The food was delicious. Veggie flatbread pizza, the best chips I've had in ages and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a bit noisy but it was the school holidays and children are obviously welcome. Customers of all ages and nationalities. Spotless loos!

Great spot in Bradford for lunch

The full English breakfast is far too pricey for the portion. One egg and one piece of toast! Small spoon full of mushrooms and a tiny tangy tomato relish which wasnt right for the breakfast and not eaten, with two sausages and hash browns. The sausages though tasted nice are too spicy for an English breakfast its like eating a kebab with a cup of tea. Kids got sausage and chips, chips were a everage but portion was ok. Tables are too small had to condense my plates served so they could fit, extra plates were not removed so i had to use a shelf close to me to put them on just so we could eat. I tided these away at the end myself. On this occasion service was prompt, in the past during busy periods weve been left waiting but was better today. There were several dirty tables when we went in and there was nobody waiting should be cleaned quicker.

Used to be very good but recently they have really fallen off and its value for money anymore. Be ready to spend at least £30 for 2 people.

Not value for your money. You don’t get a hot drink with it. You get ONE single piece of toast. For the price you pay it’s not worth it. I would rather stick to somewhere like Mughals where you get everything, and two pieces of toast and hot drink included for less than £10

As someone who prefers a quiet and private place to catch up with friends or family... smogarsboard ticks all the boxes for me. Amazing food, respectable and approachable staff, clean overall and I've basically lost count of how many times I've been here. A special shoutout goes to Hajara, who recently went above and beyond to make us a coffee after our meal, even though the coffee bar was closed. Her friendly service was heartwarming. We do miss Waqas, who was our go-to guy, always remembering our order. Going South and lamb shish with Cheesy chilli chips. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains exceptional.

AVOID! HAIR IN FOOD! Edit: Firstly it was most certainly hair in the food which we showed the waitress Secondly she said she would make a new one. She came back with the same one and lied about it - we had a photo to prove it Thirdly I was offered a refund which I never received Overall the despicable experience has now made us find an alternative place. We used to come here with family and friends. Never again! 20 quid down the drain, lying waitress, no refund and telling us its not hair when it so clearly was. Original: Used to be our go to for brunch. Never again. Panini came complete with a dark black hair inside the cheese and the waitress with the glasses said she'd make another. She brought back the exact same one less than 2 minutes later. We had actually taken a photo of it beforehand so there was no disputing that it was the same panini. Lied straight to our faces. Went to the speak to a manager who was not available. Should have been refunded for the disgusting service and food but instead were given two measly drinks. NEVER AGAIN!

Extortion prices, every few months the prices get higher and the portions get smaller.

They do a delicious breakfast - I come here a lot and bring my family too. The beans were a bit off this time unfortunately. Its not cheap so I'd like a perfect platter. Waiter seemed a little put out when I asked for ketchup and salt. Downstairs a bit of a mess. If you do go, try the full English breakfast, the sausages are delicious 😋

Nice ambient spot pleasant service ..I ordered a tuna melt unfortunately microwaved so roll soggy filling tasty but not much of it ...so unfortunately disappointed..!! Tea just a tea bag in small / medium or large so just paying for the size of a cup and the water ..this is cheeky !! ..shame 😞 was excited by the reviews ...but sadly for 10 quid ..not value for money or taste ...

10/10. English breakfasts are fantastic. The sehri special paratha, chickpeas & shammi bun kebab was outstanding. Keep the bun kebab on the full menu, as it would be an amazing addition to the great food you serve.

Been going here for years consistently good food and well priced for city centre location. Tasty and fresh food could do with extra toast slice on the breakfasts but apart from that can’t fault them.

Really loved the food, fresh and tasted amazing as always. Our server Waqas was really lovely and made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend! 💛

Order 2 jacket potato’s on Thursday staff is absolutely clue less. Asked for salad. They said we don’t do salad. I said how can you be selling jacket Potato's with no salads. Then the own comes out, oh yes we do salad but you have to pay for it. Well no!! Did I say I want it free. Then had to wait 10 mins just to get a box of salad. Rude staff very unprofessional. Avoid this place. Will be going to berries on great Horton road from now on. Much better potatos & good service.

Favourite places for breakfast, went this morning and something was different, sausages tasted different so did the beans, anyway ended up with a huge stomach ache, so if you have changed suppliers I suggest you change back huge disappointment today

An absolute gem in Bradford town. The town has really gone down with so many shops shutting down. However an amazing place to relax and catch up with friends and family. The drinks and cakes are excellent.

Wow! What a great place. Immediately given a warm welcome and presented with a recommendation and the new menu items. The food was delicious and piping hot. Generous portions too. The basil chips were the best chips I have ever had. The burger was amazing and my wife loved the mushroom pasta. Despite not being hungry she ate it all! Will be back.

Lovely breakfast. Worth a diversion.

First time coming here. Entering in, we could pick anywhere to sit down but one of the lovely waitresses offered us more private seating downstairs as the ground floor - outside public can look in easily as its all windows. If you’re coming with family, downstairs is perfect. Ordered the famous full english breakfast with extra rashers which were 95p each but definitely worth it. Amazing flavour. Includes a slice of toast with butter, 2 hash browns, sausages, mushrooms (absolutely delicious especially if you like mushrooms), fried egg, baked beans and a small pot of tomato sauce/salsa. Overall was a brilliant meal, wouldve been better if there was 2 slices of bread but fine. Also got the ambros belly buster sandwich which was filling. Unfortunately, it just seemed to lack a little flavour, salt, spices in general. The caramelised onions inside were perfectly cooked and sweet but wouldve been a great combo if some spices were added. Nevertheless, it was filling. Caramel macchiato was very nice. Theyve got their menu online with all pricing. Everything is Halal. No alcohol sold on the premises. Will be coming again to add more to this review and try out their pastas, jacket potatoes, pizza dishes!

Editing my review from 5 years ago from good to this, arrived with Mrs and my 9 months old, 4 different staff members kept telling us to put the pram in different places so we got a bit annoyed and requested to the man behind the counter that decide between everyone where to put it and he was a joke of a human being to start with, horrible demeanor. Started getting rude. We left without eating. Was once a a great place that gave a you know.. now a donkey running the show while owners sit around. What a shame.

All the staff are so kind and attentive and the food was lovely! One of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had in a while, I would definitely recommend :)

Food was delicious and the customer service was phenomenal. Hajra went above and beyond for us, such a gem and a perfect example of what someone’s attitude should be like on the front of the till. 5 stars for everything! Will be back soon!

Flatbread Pizzas and chips were really nice. Excellent service.also tried the gelato ice cream and was really impressed. Rich in flavour and quality. Lovely staff and good customer service. Special mention to Aaila for the treatment of my young daughter.

I was really excited to try Smorgasbord but I was highly disappointed. The Down South chicken sandwich was absolutely awful. The chicken was very chickeny and had no flavour - I actually couldn't eat it. When I told a staff member, she just shrugged her shoulders, apologised and walked away. The staff member at the till when I was ordering was really nice. The steak and onion was nice but very spicy. Coffee wasn't great either. Toilets were also out of order. I won't be going back, food wasn't worth it whatsoever - especially in Bradford!

The full English leaves you wanting more, the hash browns on everyone's plate was on the burned side and size of the mushroom portion was tiny. Still a nice place, clean and popular. If the price of the full English is 2 pounds lower than maybe it would make up for it.

First visit. Just had a flavoured coffee. Was very tasty. Only complaint was that it took 15 minutes to arrive at my table. As only time I've been, I'm not sure if I just came at a busy time. Would still recommend though.

I ordered a veggie breakfast with fresh orange juice which I was REALLY looking forward to as I didn’t have breakfast yet. I took some sips of my orange juice and then noticed some ‘pips’ floating around which were shaped different to the rest. So I took a good look and saw a fly 🪰 like pip so I used my straw to stir it up to get a better look and it ended up being a tiny fly 🪰 in my fresh orange juice! I got up and handed it in at the desk as there were no available staff around me. They made me a new drink, also a fresh orange juice as I thought I would give the drink a second try and I decided to wait at the desk for it this time so I could check the drink myself. Again I saw pips and fly-ish 🪰 like things floating and I pointed out that it was possibly a fly 🪰 but the senior waitress said that’s just the pip from the orange so I took it with me and sat down at my table. While at the desk the senior waitress also mentioned that their orange juice machine attracts flies. I found YET ANOTHER fly 🪰 and handed it in to the desk. I chose apple juice which came from a carton this time. Absolutely disgusting place and more care needs to be put in place and staff trained better as they have been serving flies to innocent customers and quite possibly even children! This place needs to purchase a new orange Juice machine because I they haven’t stopped using this machine so have been serving fresh flies 🪰 with their fresh orange juice. I haven’t been in here for years and was hoping for a better experience and after this I will NOT BE BACK until I know they have gotten a new orange juice machine or have stopped serving this drink altogether on their menu. Maybe carton orange juice might be the better option? People please check your fresh orange juice before drinking it as the machine attracts flies 🪰 and they can’t do anything about it but THEY WILL continue serving it to you. Wish I had taken pics now but I was feeling so unwell and down; just wanted to eat something to increase my glucose level and get the hell out of there! They did apologise and at the time I forgave them but I realise now it isn’t fair on any naive customers that hope to eat a great meal with a fresh orange juice in the side. STAY AWAY FROM THE FRESH ORANGE JUICE!
