Overpriced for what we bought the cheese&onion quiche very bland with what look like onion spread not raw onions spent £53 overpriced for what we bought including drinks and charge for sauces and salad don’t understand what hype is about this place we were the only ones they another family walked out not even ordered anything very disappointed never come again

Hajra is always so lovely and friendly. Provides the best service and always smiling! Ive been coming for years for a caramel iced coffee and she always makes it the best! Definitely deserves a raise 🙌

Spent a few days in Bradford last week. Great food, atmosphere, peoople... So happy that I found them - I had the Desi Omelete the lamb shish sandwich (caramlised onions amazing) and a steak and onion sandiwich. Really great food, great people. ENJOY. When I return to Bradford will definitely be coming here again

Smorgasbord Café is hands down one of the best spots I’ve ever visited! I had the All day breakfast and my friend had the coronation chicken jacket potato, we both completely finished our plates. I would go as for to say it was the best breakfast I have ever had the spicy sausages were delicious !!! What truly sets Smorgasbord apart, though, is the incredible service. I have to give a special shoutout to Hajra, who made our visit extra special. She’s an absolute star, made me feel so welcome !! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a cosy vibe, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Smorgasbord is always my fave place to dine in. Especially the jolly uncle on the tills, you know who you are! He goes over and beyond with his service and customer careee. Deffo will be coming back again and again🫶🏻

Usually order the full English breakfast from here (which is always amazing) but noticed the Arabic breakfast (which I believe is a new addition to the menu) - great variety of little dips with freshly toasted flatbread and freshly squeezed orange juice - would definitely recommend! Also excellent service from Lauren as always - she's an asset to the business!

Absolutely fantastic food and service by staff especially Waqas who is such a lovely individual. Took the time to go through the menu explaining what each item is. Would defo revisit. Fantastic selection lots to choose from. Just wished i lived closer!

Visted this place the other day staff are nice but charged me extra to change my fried eggs to scrabble eggs unbelievable, I didn't even ask for ketchup this time as last time they charged me extra for condiments next they will be charging me for salt n pepper way too expensive for breakfast plus chicken sausage were not nice veg ones were better last time, am sorry I would have given it more stars and would luv to be a regular customer coz i luv everything else about it, the coffee was 10/10 but not at them prices especially when they charging extra for even little thing ridiculous where in Bradford not London

Pretty slow service and not great value for money...3.95 for one slice of toast and jam! The breakfast burger was yum and Arabic breakfast pretty good although the olives were totally tasteless.

There is no words to explain how flavorful and amazing the food is. I ordered one of the sandwiches and as soon as I took the first bite, the caramelized onion in the sweet and chili sauce and the meat smoke Review mixed together perfectly honestly is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my entire life I hundred percent recommend you go here and 100% recommend you order something

Best cafe I’ve ever been to. We visit every time we’re in Bradford. The cheese and tomato toastie is lush would definitely recommend. Garlic bread is moist and also very tasty. Nice area and quick service, must visit!

Excellent place to have your lunch/brunch. Very extensive menu and on top staff is very hospitable and accommodating. Loved the manager's dedication to ensure everything is in order and on time. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely breakfast here. I had the full English - everything beautifully cooked - and the frappucino. My partner had the steak sandwich and they allowed him to make changes with no issues. Very friendly service, great location, and it was lovely to sit outside in the sun.

Me and my daughter found this place while we got lost and I'm so glad we found it. The food was amazing and the caramel latte was out of this world. I would highly recommend.

Lunchtime pizza and sandwiches - excellent choice and quality. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming and helpful.

Visited at 2AM and the hospitality was unmatched. I came with 8 people, and Staff were lively and welcoming. Food was amazing and service speed was fast. Beautiful atmosphere and I would certainly recommend as they catered for our big group perfectly.

Too expensive for microwaved food, the rectangle kebabs are like rubber, rajas samosas like wtf...... And the burger had too much sauce dripping and was very chewy. First and last visit.

Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, as always. They even stayed open a bit longer for us when they were about to close. Really appreciated the extra effort. Highly recommend this place!

my sausages was still raw and undercooked called the restaurant they said they can give extra sausages next time which made no sense why would i want extra when the breakfast itself is big enough i won’t be able to eat it all, really put me off my whole meal didn’t even end up eating it as it put me off.

Overall, my experience at Smorgasbord Coffee Bar was nothing short of exceptional. The friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch food and drinks make it a must-visit spot. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings.

Visité Smorgasbord en Bradford por primera vez hoy y tuve una experiencia muy agradable. Fuimos a desayunar, y la comida era cálida y agradable. El jugo de naranja fresco era encantador, y tuve tostadas, huevos fritos y frijoles. La única desventaja fue que la tostada tenía margarina en lugar de mantequilla, lo que no era de mi gusto, pero eso es solo preferencia personal. Aparte de eso, todo era genial — el personal era increíblemente amable y servicial, lo que hizo que la visita fuera aún mejor. En general, un buen lugar para el desayuno con un gran servicio. Me gustaría visitar de nuevo!

Oh my word, this place is definetly a relaxed place 2 eat at I am a huge fan of the food, staff ate so so welcoming and polite, nothing is too much - the food is on point every time🍲☕️🥧🍛 i am ALWAYS left feeling contented due 2 the chiefs delightful expertise in his style of cooking - my go 2 is always a homemade quiche💯👍🏽, my hubby enjoys a full breakfast👍🏽 I dont think i can say there is NEVER a time the food here has not been just okay!...come down, try out the menu & then post a review, you will not be disappointed. Great little cafe serving halal breakfasts (English and desi omelettes) and good selection of sandwiches and toasties.

The food is always 10/10, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, a special shout out to brother waqas for excellent customer service. The atmosphere is comforting and relaxing perfect for a family day out or a little down time for yourself. will come again inshallah

Locale carino e rilassante con personale gentile ma quello che ci ha stupito di più è la bontà delle torte, ne abbiamo assaggiate tre e tutte e tre davvero buonissime soprattutto quella al limone. Ottimo anche il sandwich con salsiccia e formaggio, una goduria. Consigliatissimo

First time I have been to this cafe after passing many times and it was amazing. The chicken and pesto grilled sandwich was delicious and the staff are very friendly. Had a chat with the Owner who was lovely too. I Will definitely be going back to try other dishes on the menu as they all look delicious!

Viviendo en la cercana Leeds, encuentro visitar el centro de Bradford, un poco como viajar en el tiempo. Todavía hay muchas pequeñas empresas independientes y relativamente pocas cadenas. Bradford es más pretencioso, menos pretencioso, menos aburguesado, y la relación calidad-precio es más fácil de encontrar. Esta elegante cafetería de esquina es claramente popular, con una bonita zona de estar exterior, y un montón de asientos en el interior, incluyendo un salón en la planta baja. Recibí una cálida y amable bienvenida de Yorkshire al entrar, y tuve la oportunidad de estudiar el menú. Hay una gran elección, y buena relación calidad-precio, pero no había demasiado para un vegano en el armario, como yo. Fui por el desayuno vegetariano, y lo pedí sin huevos. Sin los huevos, no es tan buena relación calidad-precio, en £ 10 , pero llegó muy bien presentado. Había champiñones, 2 hachís morenos, frijoles horneados, 2 'salchichas' vegetarianas, una buena porción de salsa de tomate casera y una rebanada espesa de tostadas. Lamentablemente, los "embutidos" son del tipo elaborados con verduras, que rondan las secciones de congeladores de los supermercados económicos, y son desagradados por prácticamente todo el mundo. Insto a cualquier cafetería que todavía sirva a estos a encontrar una alternativa, a un precio similar, o actualizar. Las setas estaban bien, los frijoles estándar, los hachís bien cocinados. La salsa de tomate casera es deliciosa. Tenía un americano, lo cual estuvo bien. Los baños están abajo, y aunque limpios, me temo que los Caballeros estaban fuera de servicio, y la cerradura de la puerta de las Damas rota, cuando visité. Encantador, amable servicio en todo, y una cálida despedida. Espero volver a visitarlo.

Slow service, drinks werent served at the same time, hot drink got cold whilst, although fresh, orange juice was warm! Food took a while to be served. Again one dish was served and eventually the next came. Food tasted average, nothing out of the ordinary, at all! SO plain, and too simple. Overpriced for such food. Had to ask about condiments otherwise not served. Table was greasy, not ideal and uncomfortable chairs.

Staff brilliant and friendly. Food brilliant, good value for money. Pretty busy for brunch on a Sunday morning with a really diverse crowd. Others can learn lots from this place. Julie has med omelette and me the cheesy beef sausage toastie. Washed down with lattes.

Harja looked after us efficiently and friendly. The food was delicious. Veggie flatbread pizza, the best chips I've had in ages and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a bit noisy but it was the school holidays and children are obviously welcome. Customers of all ages and nationalities. Spotless loos!

Great spot in Bradford for lunch

The full English breakfast is far too pricey for the portion. One egg and one piece of toast! Small spoon full of mushrooms and a tiny tangy tomato relish which wasnt right for the breakfast and not eaten, with two sausages and hash browns. The sausages though tasted nice are too spicy for an English breakfast its like eating a kebab with a cup of tea. Kids got sausage and chips, chips were a everage but portion was ok. Tables are too small had to condense my plates served so they could fit, extra plates were not removed so i had to use a shelf close to me to put them on just so we could eat. I tided these away at the end myself. On this occasion service was prompt, in the past during busy periods weve been left waiting but was better today. There were several dirty tables when we went in and there was nobody waiting should be cleaned quicker.

Used to be very good but recently they have really fallen off and its value for money anymore. Be ready to spend at least £30 for 2 people.

Not value for your money. You don’t get a hot drink with it. You get ONE single piece of toast. For the price you pay it’s not worth it. I would rather stick to somewhere like Mughals where you get everything, and two pieces of toast and hot drink included for less than £10

As someone who prefers a quiet and private place to catch up with friends or family... smogarsboard ticks all the boxes for me. Amazing food, respectable and approachable staff, clean overall and I've basically lost count of how many times I've been here. We do miss Waqas, who was our go-to guy, always remembering our order. Going South and lamb shish with Cheesy chilli chips. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains exceptional.

AVOID! HAIR IN FOOD! Edit: Firstly it was most certainly hair in the food which we showed the waitress Secondly she said she would make a new one. She came back with the same one and lied about it - we had a photo to prove it Thirdly I was offered a refund which I never received Overall the despicable experience has now made us find an alternative place. We used to come here with family and friends. Never again! 20 quid down the drain, lying waitress, no refund and telling us its not hair when it so clearly was. Original: Used to be our go to for brunch. Never again. Panini came complete with a dark black hair inside the cheese and the waitress with the glasses said she'd make another. She brought back the exact same one less than 2 minutes later. We had actually taken a photo of it beforehand so there was no disputing that it was the same panini. Lied straight to our faces. Went to the speak to a manager who was not available. Should have been refunded for the disgusting service and food but instead were given two measly drinks. NEVER AGAIN!

Extortion prices, every few months the prices get higher and the portions get smaller.

They do a delicious breakfast - I come here a lot and bring my family too. The beans were a bit off this time unfortunately. Its not cheap so I'd like a perfect platter. Waiter seemed a little put out when I asked for ketchup and salt. Downstairs a bit of a mess. If you do go, try the full English breakfast, the sausages are delicious 😋

Nice ambient spot pleasant service ..I ordered a tuna melt unfortunately microwaved so roll soggy filling tasty but not much of it ...so unfortunately disappointed..!! Tea just a tea bag in small / medium or large so just paying for the size of a cup and the water ..this is cheeky !! ..shame 😞 was excited by the reviews ...but sadly for 10 quid ..not value for money or taste ...

10/10. English breakfasts are fantastic. The sehri special paratha, chickpeas & shammi bun kebab was outstanding. Keep the bun kebab on the full menu, as it would be an amazing addition to the great food you serve.
