Such an underrated pub! We celebrated my mother’s birthday for a quick tea out and couldn’t have had a nicer experience. The young girl serving was so amazing, so friendly and even asking the kids if their food was ok etc - so kind. The food was beautiful and really affordable deals. The place itself is immaculate, decorated lovely and a really calm atmosphere. Will definitely be returning xx

Came in on a Saturday with friends had 3 burgers, all three were amazing, our server Chloe was very friendly and helpful and the price was so fair and affordable would definitely recommend

Enjoyed a great day at the Slow and Easy everything was perfect! We went to watch the rugby and Charlotte made everything perfect for us, what an asset she is. The food was fantastic and tasty. And when our taxi arrived Charlotte was there again as I forgot my glasses, what a star!!

Have been for a few meals in the past and they have certainly made a difference in turning the pub around. The place is lovely and clean with a roaring fire burning. Nice family pub clean calming ideal for a chill out and food

Had our late Christmas do here last night the food was amazing. The atmosphere was fab and our waitress Izzy couldn't do enough for us. Emma had helped organize us so we could still have the Christmas menu and couldn't do enough to help. We look forward to our next visit

We came here for our yearly works event. Food was amazing, service was great, and a perfect atmosphere not too quite not too busy. Particularly a front of house member named Izzy was so brilliant and polite. Would definitely recommend this to anyone

Nice pub. Separate dining area with ample seating. Staff were really nice and helpful. Pretty standard menu for a Sunday with roasts and pub classics. Well worth a try.

Had the most wonderful food here the weekend before Christmas, the staff were wonderful, so friendly. Food was beautiful and fresh, didn’t have to wait long despite how busy it was, was an absolute delight to eat here, will definitely be coming again.

It really is the only pub that is worth going to within a couple mile radius. Bar staff are genuinely exceptional and you will fell welcomed as soon as you enter. Can't recommend it enough.

Great pub. Staff friendly and quick service. Good location and plenty of seating areas, relaxed bar area and dining areas. Very good selection of beers wines and spirits at very good prices. Pub has games area with pool, darts and fruit machine that goes out to outdoor seating area with number of tables. Also the opportunity to see the local Lostock Gralam football team (The Grey Lambs) from outdoor drinking area. Sports shown throughout the pub so plenty of areas to watch. Great selection of food from menu plus option of bar snacks . Offers on for food which is great value for money. Weekends have good entertainment on with karaoke/dj and live singers/groups.

This is now a great community pub with welcoming staff and customers, very clean, well decorated, good selection of beers, fantastic food especially the sunday dinner served in a giant yorkshire pudding which was amazing.. not many pubs like this left to visit and enjoy live entertainment. Obviously under new management who have clearly put the work in raising the pub to a 5/5 eating establishment awarded by the local council.. well done to all the staff and management

Been for a Sunday meal.Had to wait fourth mins for food. Then they brought my starters with my main meal. The fish was that burnt I had to leave half of it.then had to wait another fourty mins for the afters. Apple and fruit pie with no pastry or custard. Absolute joke of a place.tried it there once . Not again.

Was travelling in the area and wanted a place to eat, drink and watch the Friday night football. The Slow & Easy seemed to tick all of those boxes so I booked a table for myself at 19.30. Booking was confirmed, everything great and I was looking forward to a nice chilled night away from all of the rubbish "on the road food" Then, out of the blue, my booking gets cancelled by the restaurant at 17.50... no explanation given. I checked on maps and it says kitchen closes at 20.00! Decided to travel anyway to the venue... got there at 19.20, ordered a pint and asked if food was still being served. Response was "no sorry" At 19.20 on a Friday night. Really?! No sign of sports being shown either. Drank my pint, came out and travelled down to The Fox & Hounds. Much better pub, could accommodate me no problem Location and place seemed great but would recommend updating your kitchen hours and informing clients if your chef can't be arsed to cook after 7pm!!

Stopped by on a whim on a random weekday and was met with great service! The food was good and the decor and general vibe of the place was lovely.

Lovely "proper pub" decor, great selection of beers, nice and clean with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, the regulars and friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent with reasonable pricing. Quite possibly the best pub food I've ever had, in fact! Will definitely be returning for the live music and community feeling. As a newbie to the area, it's exactly the sort of place I need to stay sane!

Had a lovely experience here on a Sunday afternoon. We had the Sunday dinner and it was incredible. Amazing food and a lovely environment, will definitely be visiting again.

Called in on a Monday evening at around 6.30pm and wanted something to eat. Unfortunately told by the bar maid kitchen was closed. Disappointing as on website says kitchen open till 9pm each day. Drinks were ok very reasonable prices but no slices of lemon or limes.

Went here on Monday after a day out with wife and her dad popped in for lunch and I would highly recommend anyone to go there foods brilliant great service great owners very polite as terminator says I'll be back keep up good work guys

Food is absolutely outstanding 1 of the best served hot taste and presentation is spot on definitely well recommended area is clean and toilets are beautiful 1 of the best pubs I've actually ever been to by all so happy definitely a return place be a regular for the lovely warm atmosphere and food staff are funny and customers are so friendly not stayed over but can imagine from just inside how lovely the rooms are what a lovely place

Quite honestly the only reason this place gets 1 star instead of none is because of the young lad and girl doing all the work in here. When we arrived it was very quiet at 1pm on a Sunday, we were told to take a seat and thought there were two other customers sat at one of the tables but it turned out to be someone(manager, owner, another member of staff?) berating the young girl front of house. How unprofessional to be talking down to another member of staff like that and what makes it worse it was in front of customers! She seemed quite new and to be honest I don’t know why she stayed, the person (who we never seen again) even commented on her wearing make up! Rude and unprofessional to the highest degree. We ordered drinks at the bar and thought about leaving because we did not feel welcome after hearing all that, but as it had quietened down we stayed. This was our mistake. We ordered a beef and a veggie Sunday roast, both inedible - bland, lukewarm and ultimately just not nice. We left most of it and went to settle up at the bar, I told the two members of staff that it was really bad and they couldn’t have been more apologetic - I did get money off which was good of them and I said I would talk to a manager because this is not their fault and I also wanted to raise what we heard when we first arrived. Both managers had left the site and the lad called one of them for authorisation to discount to meal but that was it. Honestly, if the staff are treated the way I seen I don’t blame the food being awful, because who cares when they are being spoken to and treated like that?

Staff absolutely lovely. Sunday roast so disappointing 😞. It was look warm. Swimming in gravy,probably trying to hide the awful chicken, The chicken was a small chicken breast that was as hard as bullet. The side order of cauliflower cheese was el dente .Won't be returning. Food used to be lovely.

Went in mid week, found it on the off chance, staff were friendly. It was very quiet, we ordered food at the bar. Two of us ordered steak and ale pie. Well they must have microwaved it to warm it up, not sure why because it was quiet. But because of this it was dry as hell inside and the top of the pastry was rock solid 1/10 for me

Can't comment on rooms as didn't stay here just went for lunch. The meals we had were nice. New landlord and landlady in on the day we visited. Service a bit slow serving food when we was the only people in the pub more or less. However they were very pleasant people. Good luck on your new venture here.

Very very disappointed in the food, it was curry night, no poppadoms available, my son ordered a curry, the plate arrived, Nan bread on the plate, topped with rice and curry and pickles drizzled over the curry and Nan bread, in my opinion not the way to serve a curry, I ordered a steak medium to rare, the blood was running in the centre of it, put me right off ! Won’t be ordering food in the sloe and easy again.

Had a meal there this evening, really nice had mix grill great very friendly and show us to our sits the pub was empty when arrived but people started to come in whilst there. Price is very reasonable for what me and wife purchasd. Celebrate new year last night wow brilliant atmosphere was buzzing all night family friendly

I have not eaten here before but my Son had. He and his family came one Sunday for the roast which was lovely. He booked online for a table for 4. We did arrive dead on 12.00 for our booking so not many people in. We had meals from Scampi, Meat pie, hamburger, to sausage and mash. All food was lovely presented and clean plates handed back. You do have to order at the bar. It was really nice to have drinks served in lovely glasses, I do like a nice glass…All staff very pleasant and helpful. Lovely decor in the place and nice bits and bobs up for Christmas. Toilets all clean and tidy. Very large car park. If and when we are passing again I am sure we will pop in again.

Had a fabulous work Christmas doo at the slow and easy for 16 of us on a Saturday night. Food was lovely and served with no mix ups. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the kareoke and disco were fun!

We past by and saw the pub and glad we stopped for lunch. Service we absolutely brilliant. The barmen was so welcoming, professional, polite and very engaging with my 4yr old. Food was very good, piping hot, tasty and reasonably priced. garlic bread a little let down but rest of the food very good!!! Overall, wonderful experience and a shame we aren’t local!

Me and my friend went for a meal and a few drinks at the Slow & Easy pub located in Lostock, the minute we walked in the service was impeccable, fast and friendly and can I say what a great pint! I had a rump steak and my friend had the hunters chicken, there was nothing left on our plates by the time we finished, absolutely delicious, very reasonably priced too, would go again! Would recommend!

Went on one of our Thursday afternoon drives to find somewhere we've not been before and found The Slow And Easy. Glad we did. We had food and drinks. The staff are really friendly and the pub is spotless clean, as are the toilets, which are always good signs. We were immediately acknowledged and served with drinks. No trouble at all ordering food and when it came it was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. One of the staff checked with us to make sure our food was ok, which it very much was. Very reasonably priced too. The Slow And Easy is what I call a proper boozer. Nice and clean but with a very friendly atmosphere. It's dog friendly too. It's the type of pub that if we lived in Northwich we would go to regularly. Looks like they have lots going on there with something happening every night. Would highly recommend for drinking, watching sports, eating or any of the other activities they have such as karaoke and quiz night.

Really really good food. I had the vegetarian sausage and mash and it was the best veggie meal I’ve ever eaten out! My boyfriend had the steak and said it was amazing. Even our dog tried the steak and also agreed. Dog friendly, lovely pub with outdoor seating too. Loved!

Nice refurb. Dog friendly areas. Had chicken Cambodian curry. Very tasty BUT not piping hot so 1 less star for that. Partner had haddock and enjoyed it. Good choices on menu. Will call again most definitely. 16/7 Sunday lunch. 2 starters very nice. Mushrooms and chicken strips with a lovely gravy. Beef and chicken dinner. Good size. Veg mash and a yorkie. Very nice. Only gripe for me is the gravy was a bit watery. Tasty though. Very dog friendly

Great food here and very friendly staff, seven of us had a table booked, we got there a bit early but that was no problem, we had a drink first and got our meal 30 minutes early so would go again.

We only went in for some lunch as a family with friends. The Sunday lunch was awesome. The staff were all friendly and service was excellent. We had one criticism which was the gravy tasted burnt so we had to send our meals back but a new batch of gravy later and WOW an unbeatable meal. Roasties and the cauliflower cheese were amazing. An excellent meal. We will definitely be back.

Went for Sunday lunch which was delicious. Service was superb. Very reasonable prices. Clean, comfortable and all round pleasant experience.

I didn't get off to a good start when I visited as the glass of coke I was given was dirty (I'm not talking finger prints... there was actually caked on food inside the glass as it hadn't been cooked properly). I did get given a new, clean glass of coke though. I ordered chicken new yorker (chicken with bbq sauce, bacon and cheese) and it was absolutely beautiful but the dish was totally let down by rubbish "French fries" - I'm not opposed to frozen chips but these were the thin cheap chips, which was surprising considering how good the chicken was. I have visited twice previously this year and the food has always been excellent, so I really hope the chips are sorted because it let's down a potentially excellent meal. The staff were friendly, however, the service time is quite slow. I am aware that home made food takes a bit longer, but it did seem exceptionally slow given that I'm not sure that the meal was all home made. During a previous visit, I experienced the cookie dough dessert. The portion was huge and the dessert itself was beautiful. On my most recent trip I didn't have dessert, so cannot comment. Although the experience wasn't the best I have had, I would definitely give it another chance, and would be prepared to recommend to people assuming the disappointing chips (which I imagine come as a side with the majority of the main dishes) are changed.

Eaten here on multiple occasions. Always a friendly atmosphere and the food never disappoints, top marks to the chef.

An hour + wait for fish & chips, followed by the most appalling plate I have set eyes on. A dreadful piece of what appeared to be cheap/own label supermarket fish accompanied by around 10 mushy peas and 10 overcooked small frozen chips. One to avoid for food for sure.

Tried this for a meal for the first time. Service was unbelievably slow. Won’t be returning any time soon. 45mins for a bowl of soup and garlic mushrooms.

Been today for the first time, having driven past numerous times and never had the time to pop in. We have a fab meal, 2 adults and 4 year old. Kids menu is plentiful and would suit all kids. The lunch menu was amazing. Fabulous service too!! Will definitely be coming back again

Visited here with family for an evening meal. Did not disappoint, we had, Steak Pie, Steak and Ribs, great service, and lovely food.

Having driven past this pub for years and never hoing in. We gave it a try with our 3 grandkids as a Friday night treat. We were greated by a freindly lady who ensured we were ok and took our order and nade sure we had everything we needed. The kids food was excellent, freshly made, cooked, tasty & the portions were good. My wife and I had fish and chips and again, really tasty and served with home made tartare sauce which was a big surprise. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be revisiting.

We called in today on an off chance and we were all VERY impressed! The sharing platters were wonderful and very tasty, the pudding were delicious. Each member of staff was very attentive and lovely to talk to. Such a lovely experience and we will be back so thank you 😊

Wow! Wow! Wow! Food was amazing. I have a dairy intolerance and the whole staff were knowledgeable with regards to ingredients. They even double checked an ingredient with us to be sure. The food was plentiful and delicious, so good we returned the following day...
