Skyline Bar in Windsor and Maidenhead

We went for lunch. A good selection of drinks and food for the whole family. The only negative, the staff wasn't very welcoming. For some reason it felt like a bad place to be a staff. But other than that, the location was good, food excellent and drinks very excellent too. Would love to come back and hope the staff are happier and friendlier the next time :)

Absolutely awful experience on our first night in Legoland hotel. Waited over 1.5 hours for a burger and a pizza due to a “ticket issue”. On checking the 3rd time our order was nowhere to be found so they had to start from scratch - honestly unbelievable!! Tables that arrived within 10 minutes started getting their food which was the icing on the cake. What a terrible experience and never to be repeated again

Overpriced on everything. This "captive audience" rip off tactics don't work anymore. £20 for a burger and chips? No thanks, we had KFC uber eats instead. If you charged say £6 for a pint I probably would have bought a few. But at £7.50 a pint, you can keep it.

We called in here, grandma and two children, mainly to get a seat out of the sun for a while, but I’m so glad we did. We were greeted by Suzanne, who welcomed us and organised a table and menus, and indicated the bar where we could order. The food was basic but delicious, which was perfect for an 8 year old, a 10 year old and grandma in her 70s. We ordered and the kids went off to the toilet while I asked Suzanne if there was a nearby power point to charge my phone. She immediately found us another table and reorganised the delivery of the food. I overheard her interaction with other patrons and she was service personified. Having travelled from Northern Ireland for the day and having car parking, boarding passes, taxi booking and Legoland tickets, photograph downloads and passes on my phone I was really grateful for her help and even charged my battery pack as well, so it wasn’t just the kids and myself who left full to capacity !

The bar is convenient for eating food after a day at the park. The choice is not large but adequate. Waiting time was minimal which was a benefit. The quality of the food was acceptable, however, if you look at the food compared to the cost then there are issues. In reality you were paying prices of over £15 for a so so burger and chips. In addition, as another reviewer has stated the difference between a child's meal and adults was minimal. With more competition from Uber and Deliveroo for visitors there probably is a need to reevaluate the menu, portion sizes and prices.

The pizza was gross. Somehow worse than a cheap frozen pizza from a supermarket. They aren't freshly made, had a soapy taste to it. For £16? Not worth it. Chips were nice. You can order on just eat and get decent pizza delivered without spending an arm and a leg.

We ate here with our two year old granddaughter after a day in the park. The food was as you’d expect, basic but perfectly fine. Of course it’s expensive, it’s in the resort hotel! If you prefer to pay less then maybe drive to the Wetherspoons instead. What really made it great for us was our lovely server Laiba. She was so friendly and helpful and a natural with banter. She has to be one of the greatest asset that this bar has. It would have been 5 stars if it was slightly cheaper.

£17.99 is the most ive ever paid for a burger and chips in my life. And I've had some really good burgers.. this was a terrible burger and my daughter's burger which was nearly 10 quid cheaper was exactly the same as mine.. I know its a captive audience but should be ashamed charging that much for a burger

Great bar and a delicious chicken salad and red wine, whilst my boys had burgers they enjoyed. Fardeen our waiter was gracious and caring looking after our needs. Thank you for a great night.

Worst burgers I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing. Undercooked, underwhelming, bland, no flavour, no sauce and just a rip off.

Popped in as staying at Castle Hotel after a long day in the park. Wanted to get the advertised delivered to room pizza service - wasn’t available with no justification and there being flyers around the bar advertising it. Had to sit at a table to get a pizza order. Was then advised it would be 20 minutes and I could pop back to the hotel room and return to collect as nobody would sit at the same table. Duly returned 20 minutes later to a family sat at the table I ordered from. Consequently I loitered close to the bar, where it took 10 minutes to get acknowledged. Service clearly way behind the 20 minutes promised and several tables looked fraught. Was initially offered something completely different. Five minutes later the order was checked and the waiter looked bemused as what he had written down didn’t correspond to my order. He then disappeared to return 5 minutes later convinced he had written down a pizza incorrectly and three different drinks. At this stage, practically an hour after the initial order and with two ravenous kids, I didn’t care anymore and just took the order, though it was clearly someone else’s. Returned to the hotel to find one pizza burnt, a pepperoni with next to no pepperoni and a vegetable pizza with a very strange, acrid flavour. For £40 it was an absolute joke. Avoid at all costs. Makes the exorbitant restaurants at LEGOLAND appear a bargain and at least there you get decent, prompt service.

Quite expensive bar prices and the pizzas are astronomical but I guess you expect that in a theme park. However, Peter the bar man is possibly the best in Europe. Attentive, funny, knowledgable and clearly good at his job.

Make sure you pop into the Skyline Bar to grab a quick pizza and a drink. Prices very reasonable and the pizza was lovely.

We only bought one round of drinks here, there were a few members of staff around but only one seemed to be serving and was struggling. It was nice to sit outside in the sun with a cold glass of cider.

Un buen bar.No sirve alimentos que no sean patatas fritas, nueces o flapjack.No estoy seguro de por qué está listado como un restaurante.Sería bueno si hiciera algunos bocadillos calientes, papas fritas, etc.Sería una alternativa agradable y rentable al buffet nocturno en Bricks.Vasos de papel para bebidas calientes.Solo 1 miembro del personal quiso decir que no se borraron o despejaron las mesas hasta el cierre.

Felt sorry for the staff they just didn't know what they were doing, pouring wrong drinks in dirty glasses etc

Good place to grab a drink while the kids play. If you don't have small children though then go to the Lounge instead for a calmer, quieter drink.

nothing special, hardly had any drinks that were on the menu and a bit over priced. the seating area needed a clean

Poor bar facilities here in the hotel. Under staffed and felt like a hinderance asking for a drink. Food section wasn't open even though it was advertised

Skyline was practically empty when we arrived for lunch. At first our waitress was very visible and attentive. But the food, standard cheap versions of the norm with a rather expensive price tag, arrived before our drinks that were ordered at the same time. Since that our waitress was not around. I asked another member of staff a simple question about fruit salad! He simply disappeared into thin air, never to be seen again. More pro-activeness is definitely needed. Plus even just one more pair of hands behind the bar, especially during the kids holidays. Turns out our lovely waitress was stuck serving behind the bar, instead of looking after her tables. And one last little thing...... £2.30 for a glass of fizzy tap water (soda water off the gun) is disgusting.

Service was pretty bad - waited to be seated though there were staff standing around, waited to order though staff still standing around, waited to pay the bill through you've guessed it, several staff were standing around!
