food turned up really quickly. was fresh and hot. but was unfortunately missing an item. a quick call to the shop and they were super apologetic and sent the item out straight away. it was delivered within 15 mins of my calling. they're always good but today they went above and beyond.

I’m afraid this was one of the worst fish and chips I have ever tasted. The chips were very old and dry, certainly not made fresh like most of the chip shops in my area. The tasted like cardboard. The fish, although having flavour, was so soggy that it made us feel a bit sick. The batter wasn’t crispy at all, it was just wet and slimy. Partly from being put in the box upside down, but not nice nevertheless. My local st Michael’s , tenterden chip shop, always serves up fresh perfect food, please take a tip or two from them!

have always had good service and food but unfortunately not today. most of the food was luke warm with a couple of items too cold to eat. order should have been delivered at 7.15, finally arrived at 7.45pm

Tuna in baguettes was very sloppy and too runny. Not normally this bad.

The food was dry and didn’t taste good

was disappointed with the chips, they had lots of black bits. had to throw quite a few away. the gherkins need to be checked, they had an unusual taste.

My order had 2 meals, one was fish and chips the other was a burger, I added some sauces and a bread roll. Somehow the restaurant managed to mess up 50% of my order by no not putting gin the burger and wrong sauces. Be careful.

Only problem I found was it was missing a savaloy again couldn’t be bothered to complain as it was a cold wet night plus our road is closed due to the laying of new gas pipes.

Food was all cold and tasted vile , didn't eat barely any of it and would like my money back

Have to give a 1 star because I can't give a zero, literally the worst fish and chips and quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had from anywhere , every single item was cold upon arrival, it took over an hour to travel 6.7 miles, the chicken burger had 1 tiny slice of tomato and the tiniest bit of halloumi in it , my large cod was completely cold and soggy and smelt of wet dog and the chips were cold and old tasting, the whole thing was a complete waste of money and the owners should be ashamed that they allow this to be served to paying customers ! Steer clear at all costs !

the cod was not large.I have ordered large several times from here and it has been fine.This one was much smaller than usual my husband was very disappointed

They are excellent food and very good customer service too and would order there again and again and was very delivery driver too and turned up about 30 minutes too

A item from our order was missing, on ringing them the customer service was good BUT on plating up our food its was cold, the batter on the fish was doughy and the chicken burger was over cooked, dry and not edible. Lucky we had a pizza in the freezer

Ordered from here before and never had a problem with the food. Ordered today and the fish was rubbery like it had been sat around the sausage was hard like it had been recooked it was inedible and chips weren’t cooked properly either. Was really disappointed

unfortunately we have ordered from here before had great service and food was hot. food turned up over an hour late and was freezing cold, unfortunately not much of it could be reheated due to the content and had to cook instead

Delivered at the end of the time window. Not bothered by that. Chips texture made them seem old and reheated, chicken burger pretty bland

The order was taken efficiently and delivered by a chap who followed the instructions. Good work, I'll use again.

it's usually perfectly cooked, today chips were very overcooked, quite disappointing, sorry but no where near your usual standard, even worse as its gone up 50p

They had no veggie burgers, but got in touch right away, subbed it out for another meal, and gave us a complimentary drink. They were quick, helpful, and the food was great.

Ordered a baguette and it was a long bread roll with my filling. Used to have baguettes but seem to send rolls now. Disappointed as they used to be lovely.

Use to be fairly good don’t get many options where I live. Food was late and subsequently cold, restaurant would not refund any money for being late so went through justeat instead who refunded me.

Food arrived over 20 mins before earliest estimated asap time. Why have I received 2 menus from Stanhope Kebab attached to my order?????

Lucky chip burgers etc appears to come from skippers was not impressed for all our food to turn up smelling like a fish n chip shop. Burgers are nooooooo were near worth £12 a burger I thought five guys was expensive this lot take the biscuit £4.00 for a small brown paper bag of chips. Half thrown away due to smell and taste if I wanted chip shop food I would of gone to a chippy. Very disappointed and won't return dont see how all these places are being allowed to operate diff food places from the same establishment. What is it start something new different name due to bad review etc and people won't know any difference.

This was our first time ordering. We are both really fussy. My wife had medium cod and chips and I had the half pounder and haloumi fritters. Food was really good. The burger was good quality and tasted great and the haloumi fritter was amazing. 100% would recommend.

I paid £12 for fish with more batter on than fish itself, a handful of chips and tub of carry sauce at £2 that was half full! VERY disappointed to say the least. Best part was the pickled egg and the drink. Defiantly NOT worth £12.

The food was very tasty and cooked just right, but, for the first time it wasn't hot, it was only just warm. Considering I only live 2 minutes away from the chippy I was surprised it wasn't up to usual standard

chicken chunks went in the bin as were undercooked and couldn’t eat them
