Sisu in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Visited twice recently, tempted by the toasties which made a perfect lunch after a good walk. Clean, tidy, friendly. WC available and very dog friendly. Seating inside and out.

Great toasties, friendly service and the discovery of Tosca cake for us keen cooks was a plus. Heading back for a second visit today…..and that says it all!

Was on the beach and the weather got bad so headed in to find a coffee. Found this place and the coffee was very good and the owners were lovely!

Discovered this cafe in Praa Sands, and have been back several times since, and will be returning many times more. A lovely local small independent business, serving (amongst others) delicious homemade toasties and cakes, with quality coffee, and using local quality produce. The small details make a difference…… for instance , even the side salad and dressing with the BLT toastie were really tasty and better than the usual lettuce leaf offered at other establishments. The owners are really friendly, offer great service, and are keen to get your opinion on their food and drink. At our most recent visit, they had changed their usual coffee, asked for our feedback, and when we made friendly suggestions, David was happy to give us additional coffees using our suggestions, to try out. The cafe is family and dog friendly, is licensed, has indoor and outdoor seating, and even has a sea view. Highly recommended

From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. I had been riding my bike and met my wife, baby daughter and dog at the cafe. Straight away we were asked if the dog needed water and if they’d be eating or drinking. The owners are clearly very busy people but had the decency to stop and chat to us, more like old friends that proprietors! I had a coffee, soft drink and a club sandwich, my wife had a coffee and cake and all of it was fantastic! We even bought a couple of the homemade cakes to take home. Such a shame that it suffers the effects of the tourism low season as this place deserves all the success in the world!

Have been here several times, always a lovely welcome and delicious food and coffee. This time we came with some friends who said the cappuccino was the best they had ever had - even better than in Italy, where they lived for two years. This is such a great cafe, thoroughly recommend

Always a warm welcome from Heidi and Dave. The food and coffee are great and dogs are treated like VIPs. We’ll worth a visit.

We both had the mushroom quiche and salad as a takeaway. It was a generous portion just right for me; a little large for my wife (but I managed!). It was very nice, very tasty. The salad had a very good variety of ingredients. The quiche was just right. Recommended.

We visit Sisu when we walk our dogs on praa sands , the food is excellent, the owners are friendly and love dogs. Inside and outside seating, great coffee, and very clean. Our dogs rate the snacks very highly , and always demand we visit :-) Must be something to do with the snacks I think ? Anyhow you should visit Sisu as soon as you can, and enjoy it 😊.

We visited this area last September and loved it so much we went back for a week. The food at Sisu is delicious, a wonderful atmosphere, value for money and lovely owners.

Near to the beach at Praa sands but nearby parking is limited .Ideal for a bacon roll when walking the southwest coach path

Absolutely fantastic place, food and owners. Fresh and delicious breakfast, hot rich coffee and the loveliest people you could meet! Very dog friendly, even gave our little boy a sausage while we were waiting. 10/10 will visit again. Thank you for a fab morning!

Great place for breakfast. Really friendly staff, always take the time to talk. Dog friendly, great food. Open throughout the year, not just tourist season, so great for those of us who are local.

Really Genuine and lovely owners who make you feel more than welcome, the breakfast is lovely quality and tasted amazing. The owners make there own dog treats and our dog Lily really enjoyed them, they are both very good with dogs and make them feel really welcome, we wanted to go back but couldn’t fit it into our holiday again.

Friendly cafe with seating inside and out. Great breakfasts, excellent homemade soups and all bakery items made on the premises. Very good service and good value for money.

Amazing food, genuinely lovely staff, we loved eating here. Very reasonably priced food, local ingredients, and a newly opened business.

What a wonderful addition to Praa Sands! The only place you can get fresh, healthy food and it's always prepared fresh to order. The quiche is delicious and the cubano special sandwiches warranted a repeat visit! Coffee is delicious and properly made, coming from a real coffee snob! The interior is lovely and freshly decorated and so clean too. Superbly helpful and friendly place, has become a firm favourite.

I ordered a take away flat white to take down to the beach, cost £3.90 and wasn't a great coffee. Tip: if you want repeat business don't rip off the customers. Even the best coffee in London is cheaper.

A new cafe in the little parade of shops just before you reach the beach car parks, had only been open a few weeks when we visited and already had a steady stream of visitors calling in on their way to and from the beach....
