Sissinghurst Tandoori in Tunbridge Wells

Staying in an Airbnb 5 minutes away so I popped in last night to grab some food to eat back at the cabin. Friendly staff. My home town is full of Indians and they are all very disappointing. Tried this place on the off chance and we were very happy. Well cooked, incredibly well priced. If you’re in the area - stop by!

I ordered a takeaway on two occasions and on both the order was completely wrong and the owner refused to accept liability. I will not be using this takeaway again.

Just moved house, DIY taking up time, good chance to try out the local take away curry. Attentive helpful staff, meal ready at the agreed time. Really enjoyed the tasty food, well seasoned, good balance of seasoning and heat and, after the meal, I don't have the feeling there was shed loads of salt added.

Fantastic takeaway curry house! The food is amazing and the staff are genuinely friendly. Plenty of meat in the main dishes, and all of the dishes had really good flavours. Highly recommend!

We love curry this place is just fantastic in our experience and we drive a quite few miles 16 mile round trip to get there and come very regularly always fresh and there chicken tikka main just the best staff so friendly

Highly recommend the Tandoori King Prawn Korai. The Spinach/Saag Bhajee, Tandoori Chicken and Naan breads were equally excellent. Really friendly and great service.

Always good value, good food and their timings are also reliable. They do always check the orders before you leave.

Stopped going here several years ago. Went back as we heard it had improved, actually hasn’t and it still was no different, almost like they use the same sauce on a tikka masala and veg dishes .

We do live in sissinghurst but I would travel further if it wasn’t good food from here. They’re a very nice bunch of staff and accommodating of the odd request like No onions in anything apart from the onion bhaji Try it, you might like it!

Our annual big family gathering & we used Sissinghurst Tandoori again. Friendly service and good food. No problems despite the very large order. Recommended.

Went for a curry after a long drive, popped in and was given my food very quickly. Korma was a bit watery, but my bhuna was excellent.

I love this Tandoori.It has taken over the property that used to be a fish'n'chip shop, so it only provides a takeaway service.I went in there a few weeks ago and ordered a mixed balti, the owner asked me if I would like it to be a bit spicier?I said Yes please... So they made it to Madras spice - it was lovely!Will be going back again soon!!

Had a lovely curry. DUCK TIKKA is the one! Only here for a week but had a lovely curry. So glad it didn’t disappoint. 👍🏻

This is by far the best place to pick up a curry in the area. All food is lovingly prepared and to any individual requirements. Its cooked fresh so be prepared to wait 20-30 mins but it is worth it. While waiting why not pop over the road for a drink in The MIlk House while its being prepared. (We do!!) The food is not expensive and there is plenty of it to satisfy your hunger. Go see for yourself.

We were away as a large family gathering and wanted a takeaway for our evening meal. This place had been suggested and we weren't disappointed. Good quality food and portion sizes.

Really good food. We have recently moved to Sissinghurst and we are delighted to be living near this wonderful takeaway! The food is consistently good. I love the dansaak and chicken tikka.

Despite confirming the order twice on two occasion they still get the order wrong. When you request an explanation, they are very patronizing. this is totally unacceptable and the quality of the food is below par! would think twice before ordering takeaways !

My partner and I thought we would try here as heard good things. We ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic and coriander naans, pilau rice and poppadoms... The tikka sauce was like water and the flavour was horrid, no texture at all, chicken was squidgy, rice so plain and tasteless, naans were flavourless and stodgy. Poppadoms were ok though.... AVOID!

First time takeaway from here, in my opinion best in the area and Iv tried them all, is now my favourite good size portions , very tasty and as it should be, nice polite people

A great local indian take away. My favourite dish is the chilli chicken closely followed by the chicken Jalfrezi. My fiancé always has the lamb Saag which he always enjoys

Good food, and have used this take away a few times now since moving to the area. On a Friday or Saturday, make sure you give plenty of time for your order - they get very busy!

Small local takeaway right in the centre of the village so vey handy.Have always found the food good.Staff not overly friendly. But will always go there.

We recently moved back to the area and we decided to give the Sissinghurst Tandoori a try for old time's sake. And are we glad we did!
