Lovely pub with beautiful garden Food really good, with a great menu Helpful staff, chef even joined us in the garden to hunt for frogs! Perfect for families

Booked a table for lunch at 2.30pm on 6th July via pub website booking system (OpenTable). When we arrived we said we had a table booked and were told we could sit anywhere, so we got some drinks and sat down. I went to the bar and asked for the menu and was then told they had no booking for us and they weren’t serving food. Member of staff behind the bar asked if we had booked online and when I said yes she told me ’oh the online system doesn’t always work - we’ve got crisps if you’re hungry’. Frankly she couldn’t have cared less that we already had drinks but couldn’t get any food - in fact she was quite rude. Staff are unhelpful, serve regulars in front of other customers, music was incredibly loud for lunchtime and overall a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Certainly won’t be going back…

What a hidden treasure this little gem of a pub is! We popped in for the bogof offer on roast dinner & to watch the England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 game. The service was impeccable, the drink selection was good & the food was ok. The new young lady has certainly made an impact & trying hard to bring the community together. She was pleasant & made time to talk to us . Well done young Lady.

Visited for their relaunch event - everyone was catered for at all ages. Fantastic food, great entertainment and activities for children in the day simply brilliant.

Been a few times to this venue Bar staff seem inexperienced and unaware that people were waiting to be served but chose to serve regulars who walked to the front of the queue. Suggest the staff pay more attention to waiting customers
