Cheap tasting drinks and greasy food, makes Sids cafe from only fools and horses look like a 5 star establishment. Will not be going back! Better food in a classier establishment available five minutes further down harbour road at The Point.

Stopped off for a coffee while my car was being done at the tyre place. Really nice staff, I didn’t go in but there’s a bit of seating too. Recommend if you’ve got a little time to wait in the industrial centre!

Great place for an informal good fry up after or before a walk round Rye Harbour. Friendly, quick and efficient service. Nothing fancy but great value and decent options. Thanks for a great breakfast.

We went for a walk round Rye harbour and whilst driving back out of the industrial estate my husband remembered seeing a cafe sign, so both feeling in the need for a coffee decided to call in. Looking at their menu board we decided to go for a "Big Full English" which included a hot drink, the coffee was to our taste but then we like instant coffee and this wasn't the cheap stuff like some cafes. We were offered the option of chips or hash browns and toast or bread & butter. The breakfast was excellent, a tasty, herby sausage and nice thick back bacon. My only personal complaint is that it would be a good idea to offer fresh tomato's as an option to the tinned ones served with the breakfast. But apart from that it was fantastic. Service was friendly and the food was cooked quickly and wasn't greasy. We would certainly return anytime we were in the area and would highly recommend it.

Popped in for a bite to eat, and was greeted by mark, he is such a friendly happy chap, and he quickly took our order and got straight to work cooking our food. When our food arrived it was lovely as always. I would say this is the best breakfast in Rye. Keep up the great work

We finished a dog walk round Rye Harbour by a quick coffee at the cafe. We'd seen the crowds of people there for breakfast earlier and the place looked buzzing. Unfortunately our choice of lattes was unwise. Instant powdered latte mixed with hot water. Undrinkable. We left and went to a much nicer cafe in Rye.

A warm welcome on a bleak wet January day. Everything very informal, in attractive surroundings. Coffee came in a large mug and was good and hot.

Great atmosphere. Feel comfortable and welcomed. To be remembered from last year's visit was nice. I really love the food which is so reasonably priced. Clean. Great menu. It's a cafe out of the way but once found your bound to keep going back as I do.

Sheri's cafe is a local secret.Only those "in the know" go there.The food is freshly prepared everyday with love and care.This is no greasy spoon.it's a clean spoon with class.

Mark cooks a fantastic breakfast. My favourite food stop every week after the drive down from Reading. Sets me up for the day ahead.

Once again I have popped in, and the breakfast was amazing and great value. Free refill on the tea as well. What more could you ask for?

I visited this café after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. It is located on a busy industrial estate a short walk out of Rye and on the road down to the harbour, in what is really a portable cabin. The menu is varied and written in clear-to-read print above the serving are and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are helpful and friendly and there is a television in one corner 9and now a Xmas tree too). My BIG all-day breakfast was quickly served and contained a HUGE sausage, beans, lots of bacon, fresh mushrooms and came with a coffee and I could even have a free re-fill too .....all for £5.95. The tomatoes were the tinned variety but due to the size of the meal served-up I could be tempted to ignore that! One of the biggest and best-priced all-day breakfast I have had on my long trawl around the southeast seeking such out.

Lovey fresh produce, tastes yummy, friendly staff one of the best cafes I have ever been to. I look forward to going for lunch there each day.

i read reviews before went camber on our last day wehn went home popped in for breekie was even more amazed how good it was my whole family loved it 5.50 for full works and bottomless refils excellant gonna go again for sure

We popped in for a breakfast after and early start, we were ravenous and were not let down, for just £4.50 we had a slap up full English, great bacon, nice jumbo sausage (not the nasty cheapo ones either!). Service was quick, tea served in good mugs, Cook was friendly too. Highly recommended!

Visited here for breakfast after reading other reviews,the food was great.We were staying at the local holiday park which did not have a lot to offer for breakfast.We ordered a sausage and bacon roll and a bacon and egg roll,they were massive,fresh bread,thick bacon ,well cooked egg and tasty sausages.The coffee was good too and cheap.Our food was cooked quickly and the service was friendly.Will call in again whwn in the area.It is what you see,a portakabin on the edge of an industrial estate but for good food served quickly you cannot go wrong.

Today was my first time using Sheri's cafe I had heard people talking about it and thought I would give it ago, I got a delivery, the gentleman on the phone was very friendly my order arrived promptly and the food was great burger rolls lovely and fresh.. I'm going to become a regular of this little hidden treasure!

Popped in for a breakfast while having work done on my bike nearby.I wasn't expecting much from a portacabin on an industrial estate, but was pleasantly surprised. A large breakfast with good quality ingredients with coffee or tea and free refills if wanted for under £6.00 3 bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, sausage, hash browns, tomatoes and beans with 2 slices of toast cant be bad. I would definitely use the cafe again.

There are some wonderful looking restaurants in Rye - this is not one of them. However, the food was excellent, my children have never eaten 'in a box' so that represents a new experience and the staff/owners are lovely. If you wants nicely prepared, inexpensive food served in an 'industrial' environment head on down.

I drove by on Rye Harbour Road for ages. Several people had recommended Sheri's Café and they were right, and so do I recommend this café.The meals are cooked to order and the food is fresh, well prepared and cleanly presented and also inexpensive.There are no frills or waitresses but the staff behind the counter are tops for friendly service.They also do a take away service for eats or drinks.

After looking around Rye tourist attraction area and trying to find somewhere to eat I found this lovely fairly priced place to eat. Set in an industrial estate, in a caravan type set up the food was great and such a fair price and the girls friendly.As for Rye tourist area looking for a fairly priced place to eat didn't exist. The places I looked at, at least 15 were over priced and some of these places didnt even show their prices. I will never eat there, it exploits the tourists and I found it insulting.

I use Sheris caffe to have smoothies delivered every morning and I could not be more happy... absolutely gorgeous smoothies full of fresh fruit I've even lost 1 stone 10 pounds since on these as I have one for breakfast one for lunch and a sensible dinner snacking on healthy treats through out the day :) every morning at 8am my smoothies are here with out fail I am never disappointed with them at all as there always yummy Thank you xxxx

Cycling towards beautiful Rye harbour at lunchtime we spotted this cabin on an industrial estate and feeling hungry decided to try it out. We were surprised at the scope of the menu which went well beyond all day breakfasts. The service was fast and cheerful, the quality of the food excellent and the price probably half what we would pay in a pub. They have two very satisfied customers who will certainly return when next cycling by!

The chicken burger with cheese bacon lettuce and mayo is excellent..we go there every week and wether its a fruitie smoothie or a full English you're after you wont be disappointed! Plus the coca cola is the coldest known to man!

i was told about sheris cafe and have been visiting there for the last 18 months you will always find a warm welcome from sheri mark and jane and nothing is any problem the food is always excellent and cooked perfectly and if you ever want something different all you have to do is ask and they will be happy to help great food and great prices well worth a visit next time your in rye

i was lucky to be told about sheris cafe and boy were they right the food is excellent and cooked to perfection mark sheri and jane always make you welcome and have since day one of my visits there warm and friendy and always find time to make you feel welcome even when there busy the food is great and dont be affraid to ask if you want something off the menu if the guys and girls can do it they will. even a bacon mushroom and black pudding omelette top class food at great prices so go on treat your self its well worth it .

I eat at sheris cafe every day for my lunch. I am never disappointed with the service or the food i get. The staff are very friendly and always welcome you with a smile. Jane brightens up the cafe with her smile and makes everyone feel very welcomed. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy. The food is always served hot even if you need to wait a short time. It is freshly cooked and the sausages are the best around. I take my children there as they refuse to go anywhere else. The best thing about the cafe is that if your really busy you can phone in your order and then collect it and it is ready for you. So like the title says if carlsberg did cafe`s it would be sheri`s.

Great little cafe on the harbour road out of Rye. Not hard to find, it's about halfway down to the harbour on the right. Make a stop. We had baps or toast with either bacon, eggs, mushrooms. The eggs were spot on - not-too-runny, and the bacon tasty. No fancy ingredients but it was all hot and exactly what you want in a cafe - and are often disappointed by if it's tasteless and greasy. Not here, and served with friendly char.

We had a very warm welcome at 2pm on Saturday afternoon. Our lunch was prepared in five minutes whilst we relaxed with the day's papers surrouned by the lively conversations of the regulars. The food was delicious and incredibly good value. Forget the over-priced pubs in Rye and let Sheri show you that great value, good food is alive and well.

I visit Rye quite often through summer and on some nice winter days on my Motorbike, we came across this little gem one day whilst out riding! I have to say that the quality of service,food,cleanliness and value is far above most Cafe's i have frequented! I would like to congratulate the owners (Sheri and Mark, "i think") in providing such a warm welcome and great Food at the best price! Will Definitely be going back soon!

i go to rye every fortnight with work, on arrival at the cafe im greeted by two friendly faces who are always happy to see you, the food is fantastic and the price must be the lowest on the south coast without compromising quality, i have the big breakfast just £5.00 with everything on it including your tea and bread and butter chips 2 eggs mushrooms lots of bacon..... i could go on, you must visit this cafe when next in rye, harbour road just as you leave rye on the A259 towards eastbourne, keep up the good work girls see you soon

We came across this little gem when visiting rye on business, we asked locals what they thought was the best cafe in the town. The main response was to try sheris cafe along the harbour road which serves a ridiculously cheap breakfast for £4 which included a drink which is rare. This place is very busy with a fun atmosphere made by sheri and her assistant.. i cant recommmend this cafe enough

Delivering around Rye & District I am now a regular customer of Sheri's Cafe.It is on the Harbour Road keep your eyes open not to miss the sign.The breakfast is heaven on a plate cooked by an angel.The girls brighten my day and it has become a routine visit notonly to eat in but also take away as often I have to eat on my rounds.Food is cooked to orderand it's the best value for miles.

I eat at Sheri's Cafe most days, as I work on the Business Park next door. I have sampled nearly everything she has on the vast menu and I have never been disappointed. Sheri and her assistant Jane are always very friendly, despite the pressure Sheri is under sometimes, as this cafe can get very busy between 12-2. As all the food is freshly coooked and prepared, there is sometimes a wait, but you are always given a time when your food will be ready and believe me it is well worth waiting for. The atmosphere in the cafe is always convivial and it can sometimes get a bit noisy as the workmen, and indeed quite a few owners, from the different businesses around Rye come to eat their lunch, but I think this only adds to the atmosphere. Another brilliant service Sheri offers is to phone and pre-book your food to be collected at the time you specify. I have used this on several occasions when I've been short of time and the food has always been ready and waiting for me to collect and still piping hot when I get back to my office. If you are looking for a quick, filling lunch, at a more than reasonable price, with a great atmosphere then look no further and if you haven't already tried it, you don't know what you're missing.
