Real Curry.The best so far in Barry.Placed an order fir delivery and it arrived in no time and was piping hot.

I'm sure the food would have been fantastic if it had not arrived 45 minutes before the time we requested it for. We weren't home and ended up having to reheat the entire meal and it just spoilt it.

order 7:30 turned up at 9:30 stone cold after arguing for an age restaurant agreed to replace within half an hour 50 minutes later replacement food turns up and curry was completely wrong type (really spicy when ordered medium for my son) and wasn’t lamb it was chicken or pork! response from restaurant was oh well it’s closing now sort it next time, spoke to just eat and all restaurant did was offer 20% off next order - no thanks never again!!!

Told by delivery driver that there regular delivery driver did not show for work, why did they accept order knowing this? Also could not contact restaurant for half hour as line engaged contacted just eat instead who told me they would contact restaurant but then left live chat. Food was good quality as usual but spoiled by late arrival. Just a shame there wasn't better communication.

Food here is quite nice, most of the time. Problem is when you get the bill it’s alway a different price to what’s been statedSpoke to the manager over the phone about this and he hung up saying he was too busy to deal with it.

Food arrived late. Marked as delivered on the app and when I called 20 mins later, they said they left 10 mins ago! Poppadoms arrived completely crushed in bag. And food was luke warm.

wasn't ready when we went to collect, they lost my order. when we finally got home with our order they had got order wrong.

Ordered with an estimated delivery of 60mins, actually delivery time was 130mins. Tried calling the restaurant, when someone finally answered they hung up straight away and then could not get an answer for the next half hr. Had to go through Just Eat and queue to speak to someone to chase where my food was, they rang the restaurant and said they were running behind on orders and it would be there within 10mins and would bring additional drinks as a goodwill gesture. When the food turned up there was no goodwill drinks, only the stuff we ordered and the food had clearly been sat waiting for delivery as I had to microwave it when it got here. Awful experience all round.

The food was lovely, as it always is. However I had pre-ordered my food to arrive after my daughter’s bedtime and it arrived over an hour early. I had also left a request to knock gently as the delivery was supposed to be post-toddler-bedtime but that bit was ignored. Just as well my daughter was still awake! A shame that I had to eat it warmed up but lovely all the same.

Giving 4 stars because you forgot my popadom and in my eyes that’s something worth getting arresting for, other than that huge dilemma the curry was beautiful, deffinatly would order again and will leave comment to not forget my popadom again.

The vegetarian curries was one of the best curries I've ever had. Normally you only get 2 vegetables in a takeaway curry but there was a variety of vegetables and chopped potatoes that added to the flavour! Would defonitely order again from here.

Great food but over an hour late. The app was only updated to say a ten minute delay, I called after it had been overdue for 35 mins and the revised time for delivery was exceeded by 15 additional minutes. The final issue was the delivery driver (I can imagine he’d had a tough night) just handing over the bag with a grunt; no apology or even eye contact. The food was great in fairness.

curry was full of oil. took 5 minutes to drain this off. other than that the food was of good quality

The food from this restaurant is exceptional. I can highly recommend it. A little miffed at waiting an hour, but, that was Saturday night, so not too bad.

quality of the curry was nice, however was given the wrong rice on delivery. Was late and the papadum were stale and were inedible.

There was nothing remotely bad with our food my partner loved the Chicken Tika Masala. I had a Chicken Balti which was a bit bland and way too many onions which made it quite tangey. May try something different next time. But overall not bad to be fair but will probably stick with Pappadom.

Came half hour early, boiling hot and plenty of it. Very generous with portion sizes. Excellent service overall.

Always dubious when I order a curry and new to the area, being a chef myself and owing a restaurant, I have to say without doubt the past 3 times I have ordered been totally impressed, great dishes, great combinations and would totally recommend! Great stuff guys keep it going! :-)

We tried different things and they were lovely. Can't wait for 'take away' night again next month to try new things again.

Sorry but this is the 1st time I ordered from Shah and the last. the Lahore lamb dish was so so greasy, I could spoon the grease out. not 100% sure it was lamb in the dish either. Chips were dry. Starter for two was small, given only one salad. The Tandoori Maharajah Masala was filled with large onions and tomoatoes instead of taste. Naan bread was sticky and the mango chutney had spilt all over everything when it arrived, along with the completely crushed poppadoms. I ordered from Shah due to good star rating on JE. Eek sorry for bad review but it's wasn't good food.

I am a chef, love curry and always dubious on using a new place and never really like using this app, unless I have to but I have to say food outstanding, very tasty and delicious and also their menu Love you can choose your meat ie chicken, I went for the charcoal chicken tikka as meet and then your sauces nice touch.... anyway highly recommend (restaurant service marked as 6 stars but I haven't been there so if food and delivery the same then they get my 6 stars for service)

Hot food, lots of prawns in my madras curry. The sauce was disappointing as was the keema rice. Would not order this dish again. Matter paneer was nice.

No doubt the best Indian takeaway in Barry. I recommend this place to everyone who lives in Barry as you won't get any better.

Disappointing, brought the wrong drink (should have been diet). Nans not the best made I've had but they give a good selection. The actual Keema and chili was Nice, the bread not so good. Curry wasn't to my taste but nice, chicken was nice but lamb fatty. Overall ok, better about.

Order to be collected by 1750 confirmed by restraint. Only started cooking it when I arrived at 1750! Site also said I collect at 1750 when it was actually 1812!
