The food, beer and service were fantastic. I had a steak, which was juicy, succulent and ‘melted’ in the mouth. My apple crumble and custard desert was pretty good too!

We loved our visits to Seven Stars. We visited whilst on holiday and it was our favourite place to eat in Cornwall. We went back twice in one week as the food was so good! The owner was kind enough to sit down with us and recommend the best local beaches to go to and couldn’t do enough to help us. We look forward to going back next year!

First time here. Managed to get a table at the last minute by phone on a busy sunny Friday evening. Very friendly and polite staff. Lovely quaint pub. Busy village atmosphere. Traditional ‘pub grub’ menu but I tried one of the vegetarian option. A crispy filo tart with halloumi and roast vegetables and basil cream. Wasn’t sure initially on ordering but thought I’d try it. It was absolutely delicious. One of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. So nice to have something different for a veggie option. Husband’s fish and chips was really good too. Food took a little while to come but we were given a complimentary drink without even asking! Definitely be back!

Lovely little find in a tucked away village. A proper “pubby-pub” as opposed to a restaurant with a bar. Such a diverse menu which was actually difficult to chose from as there were so many lovely things on there, with a specials board to match and extending our agony of making a decision. I had a locally home-made pie with 5 different veg, chips & gravy. My partner had salmon with a white wine, creamy prawn sauce which came with loads of prawns and was divine apparently. Really recommend this place. So many other pubs in the locality have been quite dull with simply burgers, fish, pizza as the standard but this goes that extra mile to offer something beyond the obvious and was like a big hug towards the end of a very wet October day.

Lovely traditional cornish village pub. Eddie and Gail are friendly knowledgeable local hosts. The Sunday roast was a set meal not a carvery, using locally sourced meat and vegetables of which there was plenty of choice meeting everyone's taste. We will be revisiting

I cannot recommend this pub more highly, the staff was lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic. If you are in the area around Redruth/Stithians, I strongly recommend taking time to go and enjoy this lovely pub. Had the pie and all the ingredients were locally sourced and brilliantly cooked. My friend had a fish-finger sandwich and it was brilliant. Definitely a great one to visit after a lovely walk around the beautiful landscape.

We were visiting Falmouth and looking for a local country pub, found this on google and though we would check it out. It's a nice local country pub in the small village of St Stythians not to far off the beaten track. The pub was fairly busy and most of the tables were being used. The landlady said they were still taking food orders and we could sit outside in the small outside dining area. We took our drinks out and she came out a few minutes later to get our order. I think she could tell by our chattering teeth that it was slightly cold outside. She then promptly found us a table inside that was just vacated. The food them came out a few minutes later, and it was very good. Everything seemed to be homemade and the two pies we had were delicious, and good value. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. In some local pubs you can sometimes feel a bit of a stranger and not always welcome, not here. The staff were really friendly, happy to chat and nothing was too much trouble.

I called up and asked for seating for 8 to eat based on a good trip advisor overall score. We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff but then were sat in a corner of the pub and got the feeling this was a local drinkers pub...nothing wrong with that at all but probably not going to get the best service or grub...how wrong were we. We felt right at home very quickly, the staff were very friendly and when the food came out it was fantastic. Really wholesome, good quality food with huge portions. I honestly can not recommend the place enough. It was fantastic and if we lived more local rather than holidaying then we'd be there far too often.

We live fairly local to this pub but have not visited it before today. We decided on the spur of the moment to book a Sunday meal. We were unsure what it would be like. Wow !! From the friendly welcome of the staff to the faultless roast , amazing. The meats were melt in the mouth and there were six different vegetables cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the portions were so generous we were unable to try the puddings. We have upcountry friends visiting soon so we have booked to come again. We would highly recommend the Seven Stars.
