Thank you so much for supplying about 80 pasties for our post wedding get together! They were delivered for free, arrived on time, were warm and delicious! We’ve always loved Ann’s but it was great that so many guests commented on them being the best pasties they’ve ever tried! The team we communicated with in advance were also extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much 😊

Ann’s pasties food is very good they have options of both vegan, cheese and steak which all are equally excellent as well as being able to order larger amounts of pastries in advance to be picked up at a later date. The only difficult thing is parking as they are in the middle of Porthleven they have no car park meaning the parking is on the street and is mostly completely full during peak season meaning drop off is the only accessible option other than this the actual place is great.

I drove down from Truro to try an Ann's pastie as seen on be TV. I went for a medium steak. The staff were very warm and friendly checking I didn't want to add a coffee or a drink. The pastry was amazing best I have had in Cornwall. I had been a little disappointed as initially I didn't find the steak, all was at one end. On contacting customer services to review I was delighted with the service given, who immediately apologised and looked at a solution to resolve. I have now tried a large steak and it was delicious, all previous concern disappeared and next time I am in Porthleven I will be coming back to sample more. Thank you for the great customer service.

Heard about this place from a friend and had to visit when we were in Cornwall. The cornish pasties (Large) are massive and pretty cheap for the size, but the filling, although really tasty, is mostly veg! The pastry is lovely, tasty, crispy, filling and the thing weighs a Ton! Best cornish we had while in Cornwall! worth a go if you are in Lizard point and wanna feed the family!!

Sad to say the pasties we had this morning were the worst we've ever had in Cornwall. My partner's family are Cornish and have been going to Ann's at the Lizard for years and we expected these ones to be of the same quality. Mine was completely dry and unseasoned and my partner's had uncooked beef in his. Staff were very friendly but sadly we are unlikely to revisit unless the quality returns to what we are used to.

Although the pasties are clearly made from high quality ingredients, they are kept warm under tea towels, as they don’t appear to have a heated cabinet. Unfortunately this means if your unlucky enough to try them when they’re just luke warm, they may have been held at a temperature that encourages harmful bacterial growth and like me you’ll spend a lot of time on the toilet. Basic Food and Hygiene Practices need to be reviewed!!!!

I wanted to order/buy a pastie from the shop in Porthleven one day this month at @3.30pm. A lady member of staff was behind the counter and the door was open, so I went in. The young lady said (before I could order)"WE ARE CLOSED". I replied that the door was open, there was no sign on it saying "closed"and the website says this shop is open until 5.00pm every day. She replied that "we are closed". When I asked why the door was open and there were no opening times on the door to help potential customers, she said I was being rude. I do not think this is good customer service. Either they are open until 5.00pm or should close when they have sold out and put up a closed sign on the closed door. On my way out,she slammed the door shut. What more can I say, but I thought "the customer is always right". I could have been ordering 12 pasties to collect the next day, but since she never gave me the chance, to order because the shop was "closed", she and Ann's Pasties lost another customer.

The best pasty in Cornwall and trust me, I've had enough from other places to compare. The pastry is the bit that sets them apart from the others, but the locally sourced ingredients come together to make it nothing short of delicious. Living in Kent, I also regularly take advantage of their postal delivery service, despite travelling over 300 miles, they never disappoint. The new shop in the Lizard Village is well worth a visit, the Jaffa Cake Brownie I had from there today was delicious.

Oh no the only "Ann's Pasties" now available will be from the Helston bakery......nothing like the pasties made fresh at Ann's Lizard shop We got pasties from the Porthleven shop yesterday. They were awful ☹️ made with tough chewwy chucks of meat.....we would have returned them had we not walked to Loe Bar to have our lunch. We had brought an extra pastie to share, but that like the "meat" got feed to the seagulls. Needless to say that'll be the last time we buy a factory produced Ann's pastie... Luckily Good proper pasties available from Gear Farm.

Called in on a wet and windy February day to take some pasties home. Was told they only had cheese, but steak would be ready later when cooked, impression I got was that they were in the oven. Asked counter staff to save me a couple and I would return a little later. Returned after an hour and a half to exactly the same story! Only cheese! Well, her wonderful pasties have spoiled us for anything else! We have bought pasties from other establishments over the years but nothing come close to Ann’s, lovely pastry and tasty filling, it’s always a real dilemma on our first evening: pasties or fish & chips? We’ve been vegetarian for about 10yrs now and nothing beats her cheese pasty, cheesy, peppery & lots of veg. Located just up Fore Street less than a minute walk from the Porthleven harbour, Ann's Pasties is a simple shop containing a small bar, and a counter showing all their offerings: Steak or Cheese or Vegan Pasties (all in small, medium or large), the Gurt Licker (!), Liver & Onion, Hoggs Puddings and Baked Bean Hoggin, and they also have daily specials on a black board. They also sell sausage rolls in plain, sage & apricot or black pudding, apple & thyme. To wash your food down they also sell Hell's beer on tap - both the the lager and IPA. There is also a fridge selling chilled drinks such as Coke, 7up, Vimto, bottles of Gin, Tonic, sparkling fruit juices, wine and cider. And they even deliver country wide via their website.
