Delighted to be able to get something close if you have business at the town hall but it’s expensive and limited. Staff friendly wheelchair friendly and nice loos. Only use if you have a long wait for your appointment.

Tried a lot of coffee shops in town and was waiting at the council offices so tried a coffee at sebastian's coffee which was really rich flavour and really nice space to relax would definitely go back.

Visited here recently. really lovely place to sit and relax with very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it. the coffee is great and best taste I’ve had in ages !! (other drink options available to.) 😃 Great place

I love the concept of this place as they have a screen on the wall that shows you the ticket line for the council office right next door. This meant that I could enjoy a lovely coffee in peace and quiet whilst waiting for my number to be called. NOW for the coffee. I ordered a regular/grande cappuccino with soya milk. I was pleased to see the barista heating the soya milk so it was really foamy. (Most places don't bother). The coffee itself was really good, deep flavour but not too strong. The lady that served me was very pleasant and polite. The outside seating area is slightly covered so you could sit outside even when it's raining. Really chilled environment too. I have been here before and will definitely go again.

Wilbury Road
Went into Small Batch, Hove Station at 4.20 pm yesterday. I ordered a coffee as a dine-in customer. Was told that I would have to use a take away cup as they would be closing soon. I left but not before telling the cashier that I would have drunk my coffee within 10 minutes. Small Batch website indicates that they close at 5.00 pm. BTW there were no other customers. Anyway, I went down the road and gave another coffee shop my business.

4 Princes StreetUnfortunately, even though there were many things right I'll be avoiding this place. The service was impeccable, good beer, perfect lighting and lovely music. So what was wrong? A coven of aggressive women believing they ran the place because they'd booked a table. At their request the music, that I'd been enjoying, was turned off so they could conduct their meeting whilst sipping peppermint tea. I'd suggest a pub isn't an ideal place for this sort of thing. Especially if you're hell-bent on spoiling the atmosphere for everyone else. Sadly, they're regulars.

2-3 High St, BrightonWalking through Kemptown we stumbled across this place. Is very small but has a much needed and appreciated outside area. The barman was lovely & sitting there watching the world walk by in the sun enjoying cold alcoholic beverages was gorgeous.
