Third Sunday roast here in five weeks. I couldn't eat it all this time so some came home for bubble and squeak tomorrow. Warm plates which is nice. The meats are subject to availability but lamb was on the menu each time we visited. Quite a rarity at similar venues in my experience. Wheelchair accessible, with practice!

Down in Falmouth area for a week and wanted a traditional Sunday lunch, all the places near the quay a bit pricey and trying to outdo each other with presentation. Decided to give the Seaview a try. A great traditional pub, great service, very welcoming, especially for our dog Martha, who was fed gravy bones from a tin on the bar by the landlord. The Sunday lunch was amazing, everything cooked just right and no charges for extra gravy (not that it needed it) or Cauliflower cheese! Great views out over the harbour, well until it misted over, but still a great little pub to visit.

The Sunday carvery roast here is stupendous value, £7.25 for small plates £11 for large. We had the small which was more than enough. Choice of five meats, lamb was so tender, and every conceivable vegetable incuding cauliflower cheese. Some places charge extra for this and it makes such a difference to have this included. Great pork crackling too. Some of the veggies were not terribly hot but I always half expect this with a carvery. Lovely pub in fantastic position overlooking Carrick Roads. Definitely tecommend

What a fantastic place to unwind all of the rooms have views of the Harbour & are kept lovely & clean , very comfortable beds . Three sittings for Breakfast so no mad rush in the morning if you want to lay in . The staff cater for all your needs , Big Shout out to Tony the Chef who made me 2 Soft boiled eggs with soldiers , cracking open those free range eggs was like a sunset in a shell , best boiled eggs that BTW weren’t on the Menu but it wasn’t a problem to order them & OMG the Sunday Roasts were served on big plates & the pork crackling well only an Angel could of made the Crackling . Big Shout out to Diann who cooked us 2 full english breakfasts no room left on the plate to even squeeze in the toast that was served in Toast Stands to go with all the homemade preserves , apparently his Porridge was also something to order as other guests raved about it . House keeping were first class beds changed halfway through our stay & clean towels delivered also everyday . You get to eat your breakfast looking out into the harbour every morning . The pub has a really cosy atmosphere & lovely to see the locals who are really friendly BTW supporting both the local pub & Restaurant , apparently the local cricket team are also big fans . Not forgetting Michael , Tony’s brother who is front of house fantastic welcome & told us about the quiz night when we arrived he keeps the bar fully stocked with Ales & a fine selection of wines , sprits , larger & Irish / french Coffees . The restaurant has a full menu & the Rump Steak slices with just one cut with the knife tastes better than any other steak I’ve had since I was a child . Party of 4 we all enjoyed our stay & will be returning to the sea view Inn soon hopefully. So sad to see so many small businesses suffer because of Covid , but I’m so glad this lovely little pub B&B is still going strong & that the locals help to support their little community pub . BTW it’s very dog friendly pub even the dogs are well behaved & seems like they love to have a nice rest after a nice long walk . Farewell Seaview & all it’s wonderful staff until we meet again .

This is our second stay here. A lovely pub and friendly staff. Our room with views over the harbour was clean, comfortable with modern good quality bed and furniture. Great two nights sleep. Wish i could have taken the mattress home with me. Lovely soft towels and flannels along with shower gel and soap. Two good radiators should you need extra warmth but not needed, in fact we slept with the window open. Tony's full english breakfast served in the breakfast room next door, are excellent and will definitely keep you fuelled all morning. In the evening there is a good choice of meat and vegetarian dishes from their specials board. Highly recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Mediterranean vegetable tart with chips and salad. Prices are good, both meals were under £10 each and so so plentiful. Swilled down with a local Ale. Thanks to Michael, Tony and all the lovely staff at The Seaview Inn. Would highly recommend to any traveller.

We were staying in Falmouth and really wanted to go somewhere for sunday lunch. I googled a few different pubs in the area and decided on The Seaview Inn over some of the pricier options. I booked a table via messenger on their facebook page. We were not disappointed! 5 different meat options and a wide variety of vegetables. My 7 year old ate all of hers with no fuss, staff were friendly. It was a down to earth pub with home cooked food, perfect. Chances are we will be back next year!

Living about 800 metres away, many years ago, we used to visit here every Friday night and I guess we kind of got out of the habit but it had always been on our list of places to go back to. I'm glad we did. We chose my wife's birthday for the occasion going for an evening meal. There is a welcoming atmosphere, a good selection of drinks and ample seating. The menu board has plenty of options and the food is well cooked, well presented and tastes delicious with good portion size. We all opted for something different and all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The young staff are attentive without being intrusive and six drinks, three meals and one dessert at a fraction under £60 shows outstanding value. Its been a while but we will definitely be back.

Elevated at almost 50m above sea level, the Seaview requires a little bit of effort to get up the hill to their front door but uninterrupted views across Carrick Roads to St Mawes, Flushing and The Roseland Peninsula make all of that effort worth while. Traditional Falmouth pub with a warm welcome and great pub grub. We tried the Sunday Lunch carvery, five different meats, at least five different veg with Yorkshires, crackling, stuffing, gravy and all the sauces you could need. It was the best Sunday Roast in quite a while. We had the large carvery (at under £9 each), sadly it defeated us, a smaller carvery is available which we will have next time. Just make sure you book as it is very popular :)

This lovely traditional pub was recommended to us via the holiday cottage we rented. It was just a short stroll away and was a real 'find'. We had Sunday carvery (superb and great value) and visited on two evenings for supper. A good selection of pub meals were offered and all the meals we had were very enjoyable, well presented, tasty and hot. Very friendly landlord and all his staff were super. Came here this evening, when it was a busy Sunday in Falmouth, (Fathers' Day and the International Sea Shanty Festival). They were super busy but the food and service was still great. Our waitress Ally deserves a medal for everything she did to take our orders, serve us and make sure we were happy, virtually single-handedly. This was not my first visit to the Seaview but it was my first time eating here. Lots of choice and well-prepared, tasty food. I visited this pub twice. Once for an evening meal and once for evening drinks. It is a quiet pub with a good view.I ordered salmon with boiled potatoes - my friends had steak and chips, and burger and chips. With a bottle of red wine and a pint of beer the bill came to £66 which was a little bit more than I expected. The food was very good and this made up for it.This isn't the cosiest of pubs and definitely has the feel of a laid back local, with the staff fairly disinterested and sitting around reading rather than interacting with the customers. One plus for me was that my dog was made welcome - we could sit anywhere in the pub with the dog and were not restricted to the childrens area.

But still a bit overpriced. Nice atmosphere and view, friendly wait staff but it was still 25 quid for a (small) main course and a pint of cider. Being an EU resident I would normally expect a three course meal and half a litre of wine for that kind of price!!

We were looking for a "dog friendly" place in Falmouth to have dinner and were recomended to visit the Seaview Inn by our Hotel. From the outside it just looks like your average local pub but on no account must you be foolish and let this put you off. From you moment you enter you will find a "older style" pub with a homey and comfortable atmosphere that you seldom find now days, what with all these souless chain pubs scattered about.Your welcome will be very friendly and if you have a dog (our is a Welsh Springer Spaniel) it will no doubt be treated to a buiscuit or two as ours was. The excellent value menu was on a chalkboard above the bar and I have to say that the burger that I chose was homemade (as were the Chips, Coldslaw & Salsa dressing)and really delicious and everyone agreed that their own choice was equally delicious (even our dog was licking his lips). My only regret was that we didn't have time to linger and sample more of the bars local ales as well as take up the Owners offer to take part in the Wednesday night pub quiz. This I have no doubt would have been a very humourous and tongue in cheek affair.Even during the off season the Seaview Inn can get busy, So I would recomend that you give them a call to reserve a table during high season to avoid dissapointment. We will definatly return to the Seaview Inn on our next visit to Falmouth.

I've loved on Falmouth for 3 years and gutted I've only just found this gem. I'm a lover of a Sunday lunch with a bottle of red, having tried a few places in falmouth most Sundays, this came about doing a search for carvery (within walking distance), between 12 & 3 on a Sunday the seaview does a carvery with 5 meats beef, pork, Turkey, gammon and lamb with all the trimmings...to top it off a chef that does good portions. Sitting in the window with a bottle of Rioja Sunday's don't get much better. I'll be back....regularly !!!!

My partner and I thought we'd try somewhere different for Sunday lunch so we went to the Seaview Inn. We had heard the roast here was really good, even for vegetarians (which we are) so thought we'd try it out.We ordered our drinks and then mentioned we wanted the roast but were vegetarians. The bar-man looked at us as if we'd just ruined his afternoon and said "that's fine, but you do realise all you'll be getting a plate of veg?". We went ahead with it anyway and he kindly ordered ahead for the chef to mix up a veggie gravy for us and told us that when it was ready he'd let us know and we could go and help ourselves. When the gravy was done, we went to the carvery and asked the chef if we get the plates from here (as couldn't see any to grab). He just said "well what do you want?" and we explained that the vegetarian gravy he mixed up was ours, "Oh. Well you should have told me", which we obviously just had and he gave us a couple of plates. Pretty sure if we were eating meat we would have still needed plates to eat off. Good start...The cauliflower cheese was really tasty as were the potatoes. The rest of the veg was not. The broccoli was mush and fell apart as if had been sat in lukewarm water for ages so had no taste at all. The parsnips were really hard and the rest I can't even remember. Maybe the meat is really good but I've definitely had better elsewhere. Also, while we were eating, a lady went up to the barman and asked if they were still serving food. He groaned and pointed at the carvery through the hatch "well you can see food, can't you?". Maybe this is their "sense of humour" with the regulars but the woman clearly was not and she was perfectly polite. The lady behind the bar, however, seemed really smiley and approachable. It's worth paying a couple of quid more in another pub rather than dipping into your pocket for pretty standard food and grumpy service. Maybe they were having a bad Sunday and don't normally get their knickers in a twist.

Our meal was very disappointing and it not that cheap either. I don't mind paying for good and tasty looking food. But this I wouldn't even give this to my dog. So where do I start. Std fish and chips X3 and a extra std portion of chips ( with free oil ) that's right the chips were soft undercooked and full of cooking oil. The fish batter was very soggy and most of the batter stuck to the box lid, the fish was was not nice. I am not even sure we were served Cod. We also found a blonde hair. Not sure how they achieved the award winning title of best fish and chips if they serve disgusting food like I had.
