Seafare is now under new management and is now called ‘Fish and Chips’. You can eat in and the quality is good.

I had a rock and small chips, the fish was grey and not very nice, although it was cooked whilst I waited

This fish and chip shop has a young friendly team. The chips are always cooked nicely as is the fish. They also prepare pies, sausages, chicken, scampi etc and do a special offer for pensioners. Small area for eating in.

Last week I was with a group camping at Chertsey and we ordered from Seafare for delivery to the camp site. The fish and chips were excellent, better in flavour and portion size than we anticipated, very tasty. The only downer was the late delivery,by15 minutes, but it was Friday night and the shop was busier than usual. We all agreed, well worth the wait !

Fish 'n' chips is fish 'n' chips, but cooked well and served by friendly staff. Some seating, but limited. As always, best eaten freshly cooked rather than take-away.

I visited seafare on Monday evening to which I was very disappointed, I bought 2 plain sausages, 1 sausage in batter and a regular chips...the 2 plains sausages was bearly edible but the sausage in batter was dried out on 1 side and greasy on the other as if it had been sitting there for quite some time without being turned and the chips were dry and squashed so I can't give them any good review. My usual chip shop in Chertsey being ocean blue was closed so had no choice but to try seafare. I Def won't be returning to seafare and wont be recommending them either.

Fish and chips smelt really good tonight which I why I decided to go here. The girl behind the counter was miserable and turned around before I even had the chance to finish saying my order. Once she had assembled my order she asked me if I wanted salt and vinegar to which I said yes. When I got home (literally 1minute walk from the chippy) I realised she put the salt and vinegar on my fish rather than my chips so now it's really salty and soggy. Chips and curry sauce taste okay. But I wouldn't go back again. I've had far better fish and chips 😡

I have been organising a charity quiz night and decided to use a local company nearest to the event! We weren't disappointed! I pre ordered the day before for 68 orders of a variety of items. Gave Nick the manager a list of quiz team names and their orders. Asked a favour if he could just bag the orders together so that we could just quickly hand out. Seafare went to the next level and put not only quiz team names on the bags but also wrote team members names on the boxes. Food was delivered on time really hot with cutlery / ketchup and vinegar provided as part of the service! Had some fantastic comments from the guests so thank you so much to Nick and the team at the Seafare in Chertsey. Also really appreciate the gift vouchers which we used in the charity raffle.

Our waitress Nia was very polite and a joy to have serving our table. She had amazing energy and made sure to do something special for my two friends who’s birthdays we were celebrating.

Update: Managed to attend the Karaoke tonight! 25.04.25 - The kids and I all got up and sang songs, was such a good night, the DJ was really accomodating, we will be back. Family friendly, reasonably priced drinks, good wine, amazing pizza!! Real garlic on the garllic bread pizza too! This was my first visit, was gutted to miss the Karaoke which was the night before but I'll be back for the next!

Whilst the food was nice, once it arrived that is, the service was very poor, due to the lack of staff over all it took over 3 hours to complete our meal and we sat for about 10 minutes with our main courses on the table on serving trays and had to ask for plates and cutlery, we ended up getting the cutlery off an another table. The food ended up being cold, they did take the steak if the bill along with the service charge. The young lady that served us was very pleasant but was clearly new at the job and was t really supported properly by her colleagues. Several of our first choices were unavailable too, it was steak night and they had run out at lunchtime of what appeared to be the more popular choices. We are all used to fine dining and don't mind paying for it, but £50 for a bottle of wine that normally retails for £16 seemed to me to be somewhat if an excessive margin. I know pubs need to make a profit but they need to factor in value for money into the equation to encourage customers to come back. There are several pubs in the area offering a similar if not better experience for half the price When we expressed our concerns and the managers reply was "dont come back then" and I can ensure him that we won't. Several of our friends had cautionary tales about this venue, and we should have paid more attention. The service issues here seem to be a common theme, and dont expect to get parked here either the car park is very small.

Top service from the team on a busy Friday night! Big shout out to Betsy who, despite being on her own, managed to serve an entire restaurant efficiently and without fuss and to an incredibly high standard.
