We went to the new ADORE on weds 17th for hubbies birthday just the two of us as locals we really wanted to try the new restaurant ! We can honestly say we had one of the BEST meals ever . The CHEF has a passion an a love of food an you can tell by the flavours an the care of each an every dish .The moment you enter this restaurant the staff great you with a warm smile an the amount of care an attention they give you is first class .The service is 100 percent !! Back to the food peppers padron followed by the prawns which by the way are heaven then on to the steak which was cooked to perfection an one of the best tasting steak i have ever had !!! the house red is yummy an the deserts i had choc churros hubbie had the creme catalan which also is the best he ever had tasted!! The chef came out an had a chat which was really nice hubbie really enjoyed that he took time out to talk ,CHEF is passionate about his food an it is perfection he really cares about his food thank you to all the staff in the kitchen well done an thank you so so much everyone who made my hubbies birthday even more of a treat front of house and our waitress you should pat yourselves on the back you deserve to be thanked !!! see you all at the end of August can not wait x 5 stars all day you must book an try i ADOURE ARDOR!!!

We count ourselves very lucky to have gotten a seat at Ardor. We stayed with the starters. They were all delicious and creative. Staff is very friendly and efficient. We made another reservation on our way out.

Had a great lunch at Ardor. We ate from the specials board and the fish was cooked perfectly. It was some of the best seafood we've had for a while. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. A very cool vibe for a quiet lunchtime. We wish them every success and hope to visit again soon.

We stumbled across this fab restaurant by accident and ended up having a wonderful meal. We sat at the chef’s table and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Food was great, service spot on and the chef team were wonderfully welcoming. A really enjoyable evening.

Ate here on our 1st night in St Ives & it was so good we booked in for a last night too & we were not let down. The food on each visit was delicious, good sized portions & very well priced. The service on each occasion was also spot on. Staff are very attentive & very professional & friendly. We ate seafood on both visits, choosing from the Specials Board on 1st visit. I had the most perfectly cooked Hake with a deliciously creamy parmesan mash whilst my girlfriend had 3 fab sized pieces of monkfish which were again perfect. My girlfriend also had the best oysters she has tasted for her starters. I took a gamble on the creme brulee as a dessert which I don't always enjoy. This version however was by far the best I have ever had & could happily have eaten a second. The evening was completed with each of us ordering a Solero Martini...OMG. This really did taste like you were sipping a melting Solero ice cream. It was amazing!! On 2nd visit I had the perfectly cooked fried mackerel fillets whilst my girlfriend enjoyed delicious mussels. Will definitely be booking again when we are back in St Ives

We come to St Ives a lot and we have noticed this cafe is often quite empty with the exception of peak times. We thought we would give it a go. The menu looked a little limited if you like fish, and the restaurant half full. We hadn't booked so were advised we could have a table for an hour for 2 people, which seemed reasonable until the waitress said 'but you can only have one course'. The comment came across as quite rude, we were then told there was more seating downstairs if we wanted, so we opted for that. When we went downstairs it was empty and 3 tables were set for 2 people, we were told we could either sit at the high bar chairs or at a tiny table for 2 in the corner. I asked were the other tables booked as more roomy, only to be told no they weren't booked/reserved, they had been set for 2 people but 'we might get bigger parties in'. At that point we left and went to a competitor where the food and service were spot on. I would advise if you strongly want to go book in advance, but to be honest I wouldn't bother. The waitress was polite and apologised as we left but the damage had been done.

The seafood cafe is always on my radar when in the area and never fails to deliver. A great menu as standard, specials are always worth a look, and drinks selection is fantastic. The cafe itself is fantastically laid out and very clean. Staff were very attentive and served with a smile. If you're in St ives, it's a must visit restaurant. Booking using their online system is easy and highly recommended

We've been eating here for over 7 years - we would never visit St Ives without visiting our favourite restaurant! Great fish and seafood, as you'd expect, but all the fresh vegetables and side-dishes are perfect too. Friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere, always a treat.

Friendly and welcoming staff. We visited at a quiet time of day during a quiet time of year in St Ives but the staff made us feel comfortable. The food was some of the best we’ve had in the local area and the wine was excellent.

We visited today and had a fabled meal and service. Food all wonderful hot and tasty. The waitress was by herself not sure of her name but was fantastic. Polite friendly and professional even when she was rushed off her feet as working alone. Highly recommended will definitely return.

Fabulous food and service, delicious fish pie and fillet steak, wish this restaurant was closer to home!

Top notch food. Simple, unfussy menu using local ingredients and superb cooking. Crab bruschetta was delish and even though it was ‘only’ mussels and chips they were a knockout. The mussels should come with bread though to soak up the amazing broth. Great attentive staff too. Many thanks.

Fantastic experience. Arrived just after lunch time, fit us in no problem. Made to feel welcomed from as soon as we entered. Food was fantastic, service was exemplary. All had fish and chips, and agreed was by far the best that we had ever had.
