What you see is what you get. Fresh & tasty added with a slice of lemon, some home made mayo just a treat. Great that you can choose the size of pot to suit your taste & pocket. Thoroughly enjoyed the large variety of tastes of the sea even the jellied & pickled ones.

Great little shack selling traditional seaside fare like cockles and whelks, as well as some more adventurous stuff! Great for snacks that won’t break the bank!

If you want fresh food , tasty nice portion and it’s not expensive come here 100% you will be satisfied! It’s the best sea food I ever tried in Brighton ! I will definitely go back when I’ll be in Brighton again . Thank u .

The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Would especially recommend the oysters and the cockles. The lovely, kind staff (have been several times and met a few of them, all have been a delight) couldn’t do enough for you. A wonderful experience and now my favourite place to go for seafood snacks.

Every week I enjoy a 25 minute walk to my favourite fish shop. Mostly I buy locally caught fish: turbot, brill, sea bass, sea bream, etc., but they also tempt me with special fish, fresh from Billingsgate market especially my favourite red mullet. I know that I can rely on Jack and Neil to offer the freshest fish available. There is nothing better than fish that that has just come out of the water. It makes me rejoice that I moved to Brighton.

Excellent seafood simply displayed with clear pricing. Went with the fresh oysters. A good choice, Jersey, Whitstable and Maldon. Went with the Maldons. Delicious and no subsequent issues. A seating area is provided on the edge of the shingle. More of a stop for a quick seafood snack.

Very unfortunate. Delicious oysters; four hours' later violently sick. Hope I feel a bit better tomorrow.

Sea Haze is located on Brighton Beach (more in-line with JBs American Diner). I ordered on oyster (£1.50) and small mixed sea food (£3.00). The food outlet is very dated with food presentation and something to serve single oysters on. Very limited choices of sauces available. Some Mignonette Sauce wouldn't go a miss.

This seafood bar serves the best seafood on the seafront and provides tables on the beach. I’ve had prawns there for lunch every day since returning to Brighton. It’s distinctive because they use a plastic prawn as part of their shop sign. Great little place!!

Wonderful selection of incredibly fresh seafood ! Just over the pathway, situated under the promenade , is their fishmonger shop selling the catch from their boat . We bought mullet which was caught only the evening before . So fresh it curled up in the frying pan , beautiful flavour and texture ! This has to be the freshest and best value fish in Brighton without any question ! Thanks so much guys !!!

My girlfriend & I visited Sea Haze on a sunny Bank Holiday afternoon for some lovely Oysters & Crayfish tails. They were all delicious as usual & I'm already looking forward to going back for some more soon.

I couldn't come to Brighton and not have some fresh shellfish! Stopped by on a lovely day and got a portion of the seafood mix (prawns, cockles, mussels, crab sticks, whelks...) and a portion of the baby octopus. You can choose different sauces but personally I think you can't beat salt and vinegar! Delicious, fresh and well priced. The lady behind the counter was very nice too. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Brighton!

My boyfriend and I happened to sit right in front of this place on the seafront, SO glad we did! I got 6 oysters as a snack and went out on a limb to try my first ever jellied eels. The lovely guy who served me recommended how to have the eels and they were great! But the oysters! The oysters were so fresh, massive and delicious that I went back and bought 18 more! Now we’re sitting on the beach, ridiculously content with what fantastic food we’ve just had and for such incredible value. Fantastic service, fantastic food, fantastic value. I can’t possibly love this place more.

This is one of the very best places to buy your fish in Brighton. Most of it caught locally by their own trawler. Jack and his team are great. Incredible, friendly, fun service. If you want fresh fish this the place. Don't miss it.

Great seafood if you want it to eat now or to take something fresh home to cook. If your unsure ask the staff they have expert knowledge. Cockles and rollmops are great treat on summers day stroll along the seafront.

Absolutely fantastic service. Had some cockles on the beach and they were delicious. We had the middle sized option, and the cockles were crammed in and delicious. Mum wanted to travel back with some crab, and this was packaged with a frozen water bottle at no extra charge. (Thank you for being so kind). My new favourite place on the sea front.

and one of 2 places we enjoy oysters and they're each as good as the other for different reasons. This one on the beach, especially when the sun is shining, takes a lot to beat.We take some chilled white wine, glasses and some crusty rolls and just enjoy the Brighton atmosphere.Give it a try. Este puesto es fantástico. Todo el marisco es excelente. Me encantan todos los mariscos y no me puedo quejar de nada de la oferta. El único otro lugar que sabía que tenía esta calidad de ells gelificados era Tubby Izack (puede haber escrito mal el nombre) en el este de Londres. Ahora han cerrado. Si te gusta el marisco, este es un lugar de visita obligada cuando en Brighton.

very skeptical at first, but the fish looked superb. We were in a hurry but the few things that we took were incredible!!! I love this place and sure I will be back on my next trip to Brighton

We were in Brighton for 5 days and I visited this seaside shop 4 of those days! Fresh and tasty seafood of all kinds, oysters shucked as you wait, it's a magical place if you enjoy fresh seafood. Everything is priced very well especially when compared to some of the bars along the beach. Watch out for those seagulls though!!

Stopped off here for some seafood, very nice whelks and mixed seafood delicious. We both sat down and enjoyed our seafood, lots of choice and prices reasonable. Drinks available. Friendly and helpful staff, could not fault the seafood we both had, clean and tasty. We have had seafood from here in the past again all good.

I don't really give five-star reviews; for that, somewhere has to be exceptional. This place gets five stars. Super-helpful people, spankingly fresh fish. Bought a couple of bream and asked to leave them behind while we pottered around Brighton - no problem at all, and if I couldn't be back by three, when they shut, he'd leave them in the fridge in the kiosk on the beach for me. Reasonably priced (£12.50 for two fat bream), perfectly filleted (and pin boned, which you hardly ever see now), fetched me out a bottle of ice to keep them cool, and good whelk chat. A proper fishmonger like they used to be.

The sea food is so so fresh from Prawns to Roll mops to marinated Anchovies amazing and si friendly great Family running the sea food bar.... You cannot argue with a queue...I went back 3 times.... Thank. You guys....best part of my Day in Brighton

Me and my partner only get our fish and seafood from this place since we moved to Brighton a few years ago. We avoid to buy from big supermarkets, so this shop is really a gem if you're into locally sourced food, this is such a find!! The produce is so fresh and delicous, exactly what we love. People behind the counter are always very friendly too (shout out to Jack!) so it's a win every time! Typical Brightonian shop, can't beat it! I've been to other places nearby but this one is definitely the best!

I wanted some fresh local fish for a dinner I was planning for some family friends so decided to try this place out. Was amazing service by a young lad I can't remember his name but was very helpful. Then I decided to take a look at the bar across the road and was amazed by the choice of fresh goods. I have now tried the prawns, oysters, cockles and whelks and they are delicious. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

We discovered this gem a long time ago and every time we are in Brighton we devour lots of oysters here. As a oyster lover I definitely can say they sell best oysters in UK. The only even better one I ate in Ireland on the Oysters Farm

beautiful looking shop and the shellfish they sell is out of this world was so tasty and fresh i had the oysters 6 of them they was so good i had another 6 and a mix seafood was very fresh. staff was very friendly and helpful will always come back when im visiting from eastbourne.

Visited here early last week. I have to say the guy working behind the counter is the rudest and most arrogant person I have encountered in my latest visit to Brighton.

We were on the hunt for a seafood stall as the old one we used to go to on the pier a few years ago was gone. Lucky for us it had closed as it meant we went on a hunt and found this gem.

My Mum and I visited this fantastic little shop with an amazing selection of shellfish in choice of 3 sizes. We had Cockles, Mussels & Crayfish tails 2 days running. So clean fresh and generous delicious seafood at a great price - highly recommended.

A little gem of Brighton - lovely fresh seafood & shellfish by the seaside. Great prices too (only £1.20 for a rollmop herring). Beware the seagulls though - one of them just stole my herring!!!

Great fresh seafood with a beautiful view of the seafront. I have to keep typing because trip advisor requires me to type a minimum of 100 characters. Brighton is an awesome place to visit with so much to do with the beach, pier etc. Hopefully this should reach the 100 minimum.

Right on the beech fantastic super fresh seafood I had mussels other half had crab sticks definitely worth a visit really friendly staff !

Really good selection of affordable fresh seafood.Just beware of the huge, greedy seagulls! My partner had some oyster and cockles. I optioned for the crayfish. All very nice with great views of the sea.

A stroll along the beach is never the same without fresh seafood and I'm not sure you'd get it any fresher that we had! The pot of cockles brought back childhood memories of beach days with seafood and the taste didn't disappoint either.

This is the best seafood and wet fish shop in Brighton. The family who run it are just lovely; so polite and remember their regulars. It is well priced and nice and fresh.

We visited Sea Haze on Father’s day. The location is perfect for a family day out. The food is reasonably priced. My tip for the oysters lovers, there are better ones than the blackwater wild oysters.

This lovely little seafood bar hidden away on the beach is a little gem. The owner is very friendly and does provide the tastiest cray fish tails I have had in a long time. Very good value and worth a visit if your on the front (near The Old Ship Hotel). Will definitely be back

A truly rustic little shellfish bar right on the pebbly beach, this little shop has been our favourite place to go since we discovered it 5 years ago. Every couple of months, my family will make the hour-long journey to Brighton, doing a fast and furious manoeuvre into tight parking spaces, and trudge along the pebbly beach through the throng to get to the bar. It is like a pilgrimage for us. We have great faith that we will be served with the freshest oysters (1 for £1.20 or 6 for £6.50), shrimps, octopuses, jellied eels and cockles. It is truly soul-cleansing (and a delight to the palate) to sit on the pebbly beach on simple folding chairs and tables, feasting on a simple fare of fresh seafood - no garnish, no sauce, just pure fresh food.

Had a fabulous selection of fresh sea food and then sat on the beach with a beautiful view. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I had some delicious fresh oysters prepared in front of me. These were the best I've had in the UK! My boyfriend had a cup of fresh prawns which were incredible!

Visiting here for the first time , and I found out that the seafood pot here is quite fresh and tasty. Also , the view along the beach is brilliant. Overall, this seafood shop is highly recommended.

Ostriche meravigliose, ottima polpa di granchio, involtini di aringa superbi, olive avvolte in acciughe tenerissime, gamberetti dolcissimi, lumachine (lumacone) di mare ottime! Il tutto consumato in mini porzioni sulla spiaggia, seduti a un piccolo ma comodo tavolino. Unico neo, non vendono vino bianco. Ma abbiamo rimediato, andando a comprare una bottiglia di Chardonnay nel negozio più vicino!

I love buying fish from Sea Haze - all of the fresh fish is caught locally and sold on the same day. The display positively sparkles and always looks so inviting. Jack Will cheerfully and expertly prepare your fish - we benefitted hugely from this when appearing on My Kitchen Rules UK. Dressed crabs are the best in Brighton - picked on the premises and delicious! You can also buy whole and live crabs and lobsters and there is a great selection of frozen 'exotic' seafood. Go and be inspired!

This place is in two parts. Firstly the beach stall with tables to sit and eat at where you can buy superb fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. Small portions to large giving you the opportunity to try new things without spending a fortune. The oysters are very fresh and delicious as are the cockles which were the best I had tasted in years.

Was walking past and decided to try some oysters as they were reasonably priced. Was amazed by how fresh the oysters were! They were big and juicy! After the oysters decided to try their garlic prawns which was very tasty. Highly recommend this little store by the beach.

Excellent range of seafood @ Sea Haze, our 2nd visit...this place is what the British seaside is all about...popular, good prices, with some seating & lovely range of seafood....cockles, whelks, mussels, garlic mussels, lobster, oysters, Octopus, seafood sticks, jellied eel, etc etc...good range of vinegars, condiments etc.

Nothing really says going to the seaside than a tub of cockles! Sea Haze is a lovely little shack that sells a fine selection of seafood. I loved the whelks and prawns! The cockles were a little gritty but still tasty. Wasn't a fan of the pinks though but still really enjoyed eating my goods in the sun.

In Brighton for the weekend and when at the sea side always have to have seafood. Ordered quite a lot not thinking would be able to finish however it was so good nothing was left.

I went to this fish shack and they had a massive choice of lovely fresh fish to choose from. I had a small portion of crab sticks which was £1 for the pot which was great value for money. They had all the condiments around the side and had some amazing home made rose Marie sauce which I had on the fish. I am going back tomorrow to try some prawns and get some more crab sticks. Would recommend.

I went to Brighton for leisure. Walking along the long beach and Brighton Pier and saw this small stall next to the beach. The stall offers good range of seafood. It is economic and very fresh. I can sit on the small wooden chair next to the stall and ate. Very nice!

The carb was amasing and the oysters were delicious. a there is a really good selection of fresh fish as well as crab and lobster.

Wandered down to the beach on a blustery Saturday morning ~ trailed along Kings Road Arches in our home town of Brighton ‘til we found “Sea Haze” ~ a warm welcome ~ and a cornucopia of locally-caught fresh fish on display at the wet fish counter ~ so much to choose from but, in the event, we decided on fresh plaice and sea bass, which they filleted for us while we waited... ~ the service was brisk, efficient and friendly, they are true craftsmen ~ with sea winds rolling in from the coast ~ purchases weighed on the scales and reasonable prices ~ we wandered off for an early morning beer under the arches ~ and the fish which we cooked later that day was absolutely delicious . . .

Weather depending we try to get there every weekend for fish on Sunday - the fish is exceptional and always fresh. There's lots and lots of local fish too as Neil goes out on a boat from Newhaven. Neil and Jack are lovely people and happy to advise on the best preparation or just have a chat. Watching them fillet and gut a fish is poetry in motion and they are always happy to hold fish if we phone in advance. Lovely lovely.... :)

Visited on a sunny day in Brighton service was friendly and quick despite it being busy, great prices and as fresh as you can get.

Was working in Brighton but fancied Seabass for tea so they kindly held a fish back until the end of the day. Expertly cleaned and filleted and all done with a smile and friendly chat. Added some extra ice to keep it chilled until I got home. Fantastic service - shan't be buying fish from a supermarket again! Thanks!
